- Patricia (10/5): - The room was clean & nice. When I asked for a blanket for the bed, they said ‘sure’ and provided one right away. I get really cold due to blood thinners, so that was a big deal for me. Everything was clean & all the staff was nice - the cleaning lady we passed in the hall even wished us a good day. Your hotel is the kind of place I really appreciate when we need a place to stay. Not all hotels are clean, nor are all staff helpful. I should note here that I booked this stay through Expedia, which has caused friction with other hotel staff. One such hotel’s staff were unhappy with guests that booked through Expedia due to them receiving a reduced rate for the rooms - yes, they told us that. That type of thing should never be cause to treat the hotel guest differently. It should have been handled between the hotel & Expedia. That’s the reason I’m especially happy that the staff at your hotel offered excellent customer service. So thank you very much for providing a great place to stay and staff that was very willing to help.

Have use hotels.com for many years never again!!!!! I have my receipt for 2 rooms booked and paid for.

It was obvious that staff had taken care of the property, inside and out. We were greeted immediately with a warm and welcoming attitude. In fact, every person with whom we came in contact there seemed genuinely happy to have us in their hotel. Breakfast was the usual,as expected, but the attendant kept everything spotless and plentiful. We were thanked, yet again, when we checked out. This will be our first choice for the next visit.

The hotel is located off the main drag, so it was quiet. The personnel at the front desk and the breakfast staff were engaging and helpful. The room setup was nice and clean. Just enough furniture to be useful, but not overburdened for "style". The lighting seemed to be "thought out", not just a light here and there just for lights sake. Bottom line: we had a very nice stay.

- Dana (6/5): UNACCEPTABLE. - Location. Great breakfast. We booked a King accessible roll in shower and paid in advance. We arrived at approximately 5:30 pm for a 4 pm check in time. Our booked room had been given to a different guest. We were given a handicapped double queen with tub/shower combo with handrails. My husband is wheelchair bound. It was EXTREEMLY difficult to shower him. We couldn't enjoy sleeping together. The front desk could not help us regain our booked room without kicking out the quest who was given our room. My husband and I were NOT going to do that. It was made clear to us that the hotel clerk couldn't help us because we booked this hotel using a second- or third-party booking APP which was Booking.com. It was insinuated that it was our own fault for not booking directly with IHG and informing the Hotel that we had a wheelchair bound member in our party. I let the clerk know that that was not an acceptable response. We had the reservation booked; they knew it was booked by looking at the computer, but nonetheless, the clerk chose to give the room to a different guest that DID NOT have a handicap! UNACCEPTABLE!
