- David (10/5): A carefully curated superlative 5 Star escape - A carefully curated superlative escape experience. The View, the setting, the 1st class service from Jan and the team is in my opinion difficult to beat. This should be a five star establishment. Booked 2 nights to see a George Michael tribute over the road. I could not believe that we were helped with our bags, the breakfast is an experience in its own right with two french windows opening to a terrace overlooking the bay, or in the room at the table prepared with a tablecloth, the quality of the breakfast is as you would expect at a Michelin star restaurant. Relaxing in supplied bath robes after a morning shower with a top of the range touch button rain head shower, and preparing for the day with a shave and pampered with luscious soaps, makes you feel like royalty. Non-invasive Jan and team quietly curate an individual experience different from Hilton and IHG five star Hotels. We were made to feel special and that is priceless. I am already looking for excuses to visit Jan and the team again as I was refreshed after my visit and made to feel like royalty. I am from Birmingham, Lee Bank, and life has been kind to me. I am confident in recommending Jan and her exquisite hotel to all minded that this might restrict its availability to me I live just 40 mins from Babacome it is worth the cost and more comfortable than my Devon Pile. Hey Jan do you want to swap our three storey house with a view over the National Park and countryside? 1st class 5 ⭐ and phenomenal Lavazza coffee.pod.and milk frothing machine, the milk is in glass bottles not plastic pods. OH My, the wardrobe is a beautiful Edwardian piece and the bed is so comfortable. I will shut up now A++ as they say on ebay. I loved everything

- Yuan Luna (9/5): Lovely stay that we highly recommend - The property was quirky and well looked after. The bed, pillows and bed sheets were incredibly comfortable. Towels provided smelled amazing and were fluffy and of great quality. The decor makes the room unique and a pleasure to stay in. Bathroom was bright, clean and the shower had a good pressure, they provided other toiletries which we didn’t use but it was nice that we had the option. Room slippers, dressing gowns, complimentary cold drinks in the mini fridge were also provided which elevated the stay. The Lavazza coffee machine was also nice to use for a small coffee break. The property is in a great location, next to few food places, the beach and there is a Tesco Express just behind. Breakfast was also great and presented with attention and care, it was lovely to have breakfast in the room while being able to take our time in privacy. Jan is so welcoming and very communicative, thanks to her the property felt additionally warm and relaxing. Also a huge thank you to her associate who brought us the breakfast trays to the door. If we come back to Torquay we plan to stay again here but this time we will plan it so we can enjoy one of the rooms with a terrace. We highly recommend this well looked after, personal and unique property.

The location was ideal for the show we were attending at the theatre, just a short stroll away with plenty of food and drinking establishments close by and access to Oddicombe Beach via the Babbacombe Cliff Railway a short walk along the front. Fantastic views from the bedroom we stayed in with chairs and table on the little balcony overlooking the sea. The bedroom was extremely comfortable and the shower was excellent. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely stay again next time we’re heading to Babbacombe Nothing!

A very minor slight niggle is that It would have been nice to eat breakfast in a dining room rather than our room . Extrem freundliche Gastgeber, Jan (f) und Adam (m) konnten nicht besser sein, fast wie bei wirklichen Freunden. Sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Morgens wird das außergewöhnlich gute und individuelle Frühstück, was man am Vorabend auswählen kann (kalt & warm) von Adam auf dem Zimmer serviert. Alles passt, Stoffservietten, elegantes Besteck und Tafelware und die Anordnung der Speisen geben dem Frühstück ein 5 Sterne Niveau! Die Zimmer sind nagelneu renoviert und liebevoll eingerichtet. Softdrinks und Snacks sind frei, Wein und andere Spirituosen gegeben Entgelt in der Minibar. Kostenfreier Kaffee, mit Nespresso-Maschine, sowie Tee und Cookies sind ebenso vorhanden. Bad und dessen Ausstattung 1 A! Die Zimmer 1 & 3 haben leider nur einen Blick auf den Hinterhof. Man sollte definitiv, wenn man den Ausblick genießen möchte, nur Zimmer 2 & 4 buchen. Ansonsten sind die Zimmer zum Hinterhof in gleicher Qualität, wie die Zimmer zur Küstenseite.

- Linda (10/5): Felt Like Home – With 5-Star Comfort & Thoughtful Touches - Jan and Adam are fantastic hosts, we felt nearly at home from the moment we arrived. The old house has been beautifully restored with exceptional attention to detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amazing fresh scent of the bed linen and towels was such a treat, something you rarely find in hotels. The freshly prepared breakfast was plentiful and well-balanced, and it can even be served in your room upon request. Jan clearly has an eye for the little touches, from a special hair towel to makeup remover cloths, and even sleep masks. The room includes a coffee machine, a milk frother and a fridge with plenty of drinks. Everything was spotless, making it the perfect place to relax and feel at ease. Adam and Jan were so nice, friendly and helpful, the perfect hosts! All in all, a truly wonderful experience! Thank you so much!!
- mervin874 (10/5): - When we arrived at the headland view we were greeted with a warm welcome. The room was decorated well and the view from the balcony was amazing over the bay. The room had a very luxurious feel with lots of great little touches such as a fully stocked mini bar fresh milk coffee machine and nibbles. Robes and toiletries were of a high standard which made us feel amazing. Breakfast was served to our room each morning which was a great touch. There are 2 things that could make this lovely boutique B&B even better. A fan for the warmer nights and some parking but the parking is just a short walk away.

The b&b is conveniently located near many points of interest in the region. Great breakfasts! We had a delightful stay. Nothing. Everything was perfect. We had a great time.
- Zoya (10/5): Absolutely amazing!! - Our stay here for our mini moon was exceptional! The room was immaculate, so much attention to detail. The bed was super comfy and we had a beautiful view of the sea with a lovely balcony to enjoy! Breakfast was absolutely delicious, again attention to detail and great quality. Jan and Adam were truly amazing, so friendly and really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable! We will definitely be returning to this gorgeous b&b!

The view was spectacular. Hosts were some of the best. So kind and accommodating. Jan and Adam- you are both stars, wish you all the best with the hotel and future. It deserves all the hype and more ❤️

Such a special place with uninterrupted views of the Headland from the balcony rooms. Breakfast served to our room was first class. Room was very spacious, light and airy, luxurious super king bed and linen and a well thought out designer bathroom. Well done you deserve to do well x Just perfect nothing to dislike.

We were provided with everything we could have needed, including some luxurious little touches and a well-stocked mini-bar. Our hosts, Jan and Adam, were friendly and welcoming and could not do enough to make our stay memorable.
- Nasreen (10/5): Fabulous stay in an excellent hotel. - This hotel was fabulous. We stayed 2 nights. We stayed in a king room ,sea view with balcony. The room was ensuite. This was a second floor room with a beautiful sea view. The room was beautifully furnished. The en-suite was great. The room was spotless. We had breakfast served in our room it was a lovely, very well done breakfast. Our hosts were extremely warm, welcoming, friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We had a lovely stay in this hotel and would recommend it to everyone. It’s a real gem and we would stay here again in a heartbeat! Nothing. It was a great hotel.

- Budd (10/5): Fantastic B&B - Fantastic B&B, would definitely recommend staying here. The decor, cleanliness and attention to detail are second to none. The owners, Jan and Adam are such lovely and friendly people. The food is brilliant, with a wide range of choice available. Lots of nice little touches, such as, wine, pod coffee machine, eye sleep mask and a chamomile tea bag to help you drift off! A wonderful balcony with fantastic views. Close to shops and even the funicular railway down to Oddicombe beach. Will definitely be returning. Nothing, couldn't fault our stay at all.

- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - The property was still under refurbishment and the owners were under the impression that they had cancelled our booking with Booking.com. Even although we arrived ‘unexpectedly’ the owners could not have been more accommodating. They gave a a beautiful sea view room which was completed and was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for all your help and kindness and I am sure when your Boutique B&B does open for business you will do brilliantly.

- Richard (10/5): Great place to stay - A great spot with stunning views across the bay towards Exmouth, also privileged to see beautiful sunrises in our seaview room. The room was clean and comfortable and our host was available if needed but not intrusive. Breakfast was more than adequate in quantity and the quality of the cooked breakfast was excellent. I can't fault it at all, we had a three night stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B.

- Philip (10/5): Nice little hotel on Babbacombe cliff - This small hotel (just six rooms) is a friendly place. We have stayed here on a number of occasions and always received a very warm welcome. Rooms are always clean. They are quite small but provide everything required. Note that all rooms are up stairs and there is no lift. Beakfast is adequate. There is a space at front to unload luggage and on street parking not far away.

- Sharon (10/5): Absolutely fantastic place to stay with wonderful hospitality - I booked a room with a sea view and balcony and the room was lovely. Upon arrival, the owner David offered me tea and brought a tray up to my room to have on the balcony which was such a nice touch. His hospitality has got to be one of the best I've had since going to Babacome quite a few times and I will definitely go back. The property is in a prime location with plenty of parking in the car park behind and with a cafe right next door plus other cafes and restaurants within walking distance. I thoroughly recommend Headland View to anyone.
- Beckie (10/5): Exceptional - We booked a sea view room with balcony. The views were fantastic. The room was fully equipped, clean, and beatitfuly decorated. Dave was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for him, always checking in to make sure we were ok or needed anything. Gave us water bottles for our journey home. Sometimes, it's the little things that count. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Dave for a lovely weekend stay.

Close to lot of restaurants and bars. Good local bus service close by. Plenty of parking in adjoining streets or in car park directly behind hotel (£9 for 24hrs). Would highly recommend this hotel.
