- elizabethm172 (2/5): No mas - There were a number of issues. Room is not clean had to wipe mirrors in bathroom. No toiletries ,lots of small bugs in room, tv was not working. Restaurant closed at 8 pm instead of 10 pm as advertised on booking.com and as we got there few minutes before 8pm food was not edible. Asked to be changed to other room and they were unable to accommodate us. Did not stay the night and was giving name of general manager and number and left numerous messages with no response. The only good thing about hotel was the location.

The overall condition of the hotel needs a major upgrade. This hotel does not meet the standard of ANY hotel chain. This is such a lost opportunity for this hotel to become well above average. Its location is incomparable.

- Erminia (9/5): Spectacular views! Great pool! Very relaxing. - Hotel Guajataca has the best view in the whole island! Their view is spectacular! The room was very comfortable. There are 2 pools and free breakfast with your stay. The bed was not comfortable. Our shower head was leaking all night. Most of the staff were exceptional. There were a few management staff that were rude. Would have liked a fridge in the room.

If you are okay with okay lodging with an absolute stunning view, this is your place. Go over to the tunnel for coffee or chai latte. Hotel breakfast is Super 8 quality.

- Albert (5/5): Ensure all things in your room are working properly before taking possession of it. - The location is great and the facilities are adequate. A jacuzzi was present as offered but it didn’t work. The hot water wasn’t working, the whole room’s floor was so humid we had to use towels to avoid tripping. The jacuzzi ended up leaking and things on our suitcase were wet by the time we discovered the leak.

- Lov2travelz (8/5): Lovely location - Stayed here a few days while vacationing in Puerto Rico. So I will start with the good. The location of the hotel is great, central to many of the places that we wanted to visit. The staff were friendly, professional, and courteous. Check in and check out was extremely quick and easy. The breakfast served was delicious and the area was always kept clean and tidy. There was ample parking and they have two pools available as the beach is very treacherous. The only real complaint are the rooms. The rooms are extremely outdated and are in need of repair and upgrade. Our closet door would not open all the way, there’s chipped paint on the walls and cracks and the bathroom fixtures were very old. With that being said we didn’t mind so much as we stayed in the room just to sleep. But if you decide to stay here, do not come with high expectations when it comes to the rooms. What’s carrying this place is the service and because of that I would return.

- Zen730 (10/5): Stunning views and great service - Our stay at Hotel Guajataca was great! The spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean was enriching and comforting. The pool area is beautiful. Food was tasty with a variety of local and international choices. Every employee is commited to offer service with professionalism and enthusiasm. This is a long standing facility that serves locals and tourists seeking a relaxing place and surrounding attractions. We visited Playa de Jobos, Tunel de Guajataca and Museo del Tren. Plenty of different and great experiences. Hotel Guajataca is an excellent choice for couple and families.

- Maria (4/5): No me lo reservo - El desayuno estaba bien y la ubicación La habitación le hace falta cariñito y no limpian bien el baño encontré cucarachas pequeñas se las deje para la que limpian deben tener más limpieza en los cuartos. Y ponerle neveritas en las habitaciones y caja de seguridad. En cuestión de servicios flojo de verdad le hace falta que le den más cariñito al local. Pero se que se dedican a bodas y han dejado caer algunas cosas. Nada más pero lo siento no vuelvo.

Aunque tuve mala experiencia en el servicio a la habitación volvería a ir solo por la hermosa vista que tiene hacia el 🌊 La manera en que se ve la estructura, se ve abandonada 😒 hay que darle mantenimiento a la estructura porque se ve como deteriorada y triste en fin una buena pintura y arregladita y quedaría perfecta. Y mejorar el servicio a la habitación ya que las veces que llame no contestaban y tenía que ir a recepción y cuando contestaban tardaban en llevar lo pedido.

The first time we got lost, due to the hotel sign is not visible to anyone on the dark highway. Must be kareoke nights on thursdays and fridays for people who want to listen music or watch others singing for fun. The lobby always feels kind of sad. There is no smooth music there. The darkness at noght in the entrance is necessary.

El baño necesita una buena buena limpieza empezando por cambiar ventanas y screen y las cortinas fuera de moda. El techo parecía que nos iba a ayer encima. El closet y balcón igual. Y cuando se dejen frisas para los clientes asegurarse de que estas estén limpias ya que tuve que comprar para poder usarlas por el frío. Se podrían remodelar para ser mas agradables al público ya que pude observar que mucha gente se quedan en el y hasta usan el hotel para bodas y fiestas y las personas son muy observadoras. Si se hacen estos arreglos creo que habrá mas gente en el hotel.

The staff at both the front desk and the restaurant were exceptional: friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, including the housekeeping team. The only downside was one evening when a wedding reception was held on-site, and parking became a major issue. There were no available spots for hotel guests, which forced me to park my rental car on the main road — something I wasn’t comfortable with. I’d recommend the hotel consider reserving parking spaces for guests, perhaps by marking them with room numbers or restricting access during events.

- Claudia (6/5): - Very friendly staff. I liked the complimentary breakfast and easy parking. Also happen to go on a weekend when there weren't any events, not sure how it is when there's an event, they have several reception rooms, but it was quiet. The rooms are a bit out dared.
