- Verified traveler (4/5): - We didn’t park in the right spot which seemed to cause an issue. It wasn’t super clear on where to park. No side walks or luggage assistance, had to drag your suitcase over all the leaves. Owner wouldn’t shake my man’s hand only offered a fist bump, if germs were a problem maybe the welcome packet should be laminated for repeated use. Rooms were small and only had a hook and eye latch for security. There was absolutely no phone service. Barely worked with the WiFi. Bathroom is crazy small, not safety on shower floor and almost fell. Door was broken and didn’t work well either. We run a trucking company and couldn’t reach our drivers. Walking shakes the whole house and knock knacks on the wall, bed makes lots of noise just rolling over. For sale/sold sign not disclosed. Left the next morning without speaking to the owner (he’s got cameras all over so he seen us leave which is not an issue) texted us very rudely about leaving. Explained our phones didn’t work and we didn’t feel secure. Asked if we could get part of our money back since we only stayed one night and not the 5 he said no and won’t budge. Would not recommend unless you’re trying to hide out. Wish I would have researched it more or they would have been more forth coming on the phone service and how far off the way it was. Not for everyone and not for folks trying to conduct business while having a vacation.

- David (10/5): - The property was a little off the road but had a cetain charm about it...we pulled onto a narrow farm road and had a short ride past a few bales of haÿ, horses out to pasture, and untouched greenery; we ended up at an older carefully kept getaway. The view of the mountains and quite surrounding caught our attention right away and our hosts extended a warm welcome at the ring of a bell. We think most people will adore the hospitality, outstanding breakfast, and solitude of this unique bed and breakfast close to all the attractions of Hiawassee Ga. Give it a try!
- Hiram (10/5): Diamond in the rough - Don't be fooled by the entrance from the highway to the cabin. This is a diamond in the rough. I was highly surprised and truly enjoyed our stay. Our room was very comfortable, and the breakfasts are the best, I haven't had this good of food at any restaurant. Very peaceful and a great place to relax.
- Rick (10/5): - Great hosts and really nice accomodations. The ONLY issue we had was the bark walkway. I am visually impaired so the uneven bark was difficult for me to navigate. The property was EXECPTIONALLY quiet and relaxing the food was great and the coffee was unlimited, not much more could be asked for. I strongly recommend this B&B for and couple to get away.

- Jean (10/5): - Peaceful and gorgeous views. Dave met us and showed us around this quaint eclectic property. The house was beautifully decorated, with homemade cookies, sodas and snacks. The stay was almost as comfortable as being at home.

The breakfast we were presented with was by far the best we ever experienced in a B&B and we will go back for that breakfast .

- william (10/5): Great Little Cabin - Very quiet cabin in the woods next to a little creek all nature. Cabin is very nice and comfortable steep climb to the upstairs but has bathroom upstairs and downstairs well worth the stay if you need to get away. WiFi is the best phone hit and miss.

- Toni (10/5): - It was a new experience for us. It was clean and very cozy. I was glad to get the king bed and it was very comfy as well. The hosts were very friendly and the food prepared was excellent! We were new to the experience of not having a lock on the bedroom door, but they let us know that they had outdoor cameras and had never had issues with theft or anything else for that matter. We were able to latch the door once inside the room. It rained some and for that and other reasons it would have been nice to have a place to pull up closer to the front of the house to load and unload luggage. The parking is on the property, just at the road. Overall we loved it and are glad for the experience!

The only need not met would be handicapped issues. If you want peace and quiet- then this is the place for you!

Room on 2nd floor with own entrance. Gourmet breakfast for 2 days was delicious and hearty. Mariah does a fantastic job! You can ask Dave anything under the sun! There's complimentary drinks, coffee/tea, afternoon wine if you like, home made cookies. We really enjoyed our stay and will try to return in the Fall!!

Only thing I didnt particularly like was you cant lock your door when you are out. Seems like a safety issue. I probably wouldnt inform the guests they are being listened to over camera systems,either. Makes it a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise,wonderful,place.

- Barbara (2/5): Use of bathroom down the hall from our hotel room. - When we arrived we were informed my other hotel guess that our bathroom was not in our room, however, it was located down the hall from our room. We did not feel we had the privacy we need because if we had to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom we had to leave our room and walk down the hall to where the bathroom was located, Again we did not have the privacy.we would of liked. The owners were very nice and they advised us that on their website it states that the bathroom for our room was located down the hall from our room. On Hotels.com there was know mention that the room we payed for did not have a bathroom in the room, and that the one we would be using was located in the hallway down the hall from our room. If we knew that we would have to leave our room in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, and have to take a shower we would not of booked a room at this hotel. We did not have any privacy. Again this was not the hotels owners fault but Hotels.com for not mentioning the aforementioned information concerning where the bathroom was located. We had no privacy.
