- Tera-Lea (6/5): - Cute clean building
Breakfast consists of fried eggs, ham, sausage, hash browns and pancakes, dry cereal, yogurt, bread, coffee, tea, juice & water. Some staff friendly some not so much.
No coffee pot or drinking water in room.

- Grant (10/5): - Great breakfast, clean and quiet.

- Jodi (6/5): - Amazing staff! I didn’t try the included breakfast but it sure smelt amazing and the dining area was filled. Next time for sure. Bed was pretty hard. I used an extra blanket for comfort. No coffee in the room, but it’s not a game changer since the amazing staff have it ready for you! I brought a bit of a bigger cup.
- Dean (8/5): - Mary was very helpful and friendly at the front desk. The room was very clean with a large bathroom.
- HECTOR (8/5): - Todo bien
- Bernhard (10/5): - It was easy to hear each step in the room above mine.
The breakfast was outstanding.
- Vivian (10/5): -
- Diane (8/5): Good basic hotel. - Stork Nest Inn is well located, clean, well taken care of. A good breakfast was included. We found the bed too hard and it simply didn't feel like it was good value for the rate we paid.
- Darlene (8/5): - breakfast was great, eggs cooked to order
quaint, cozy place, felt like a home rather than hotel could have used a hairdryer, but that is minor
- Bodo (8/5): - Enjoyed thevservice
- Julie (8/5): - A very convenient location
- Andrew (9/5): -
- Chun Sing (9/5): Good but too expensive - Generally awesome. Prime location. Good water pressure. Spotless clean. Lights on when someone approaches the parking - feeling safe. Breakfast was included, average but still better than many room-only hotels. Noisy neighbour may be a problem. Expensive. Toilet is smelly after flush, every time.
- MUE (8/5): -
- Ronda (10/5): - Clean & fresh. Breakfast.
Friendly greeting
- christopher (6/5): Nothing special - The Stork is just a place for an overnight stay in the travel to a vacation destination. Nothing Spercial. The cancelled having a shuttle to and from the airport so I will not be staying here again as there is only 1 taxi in town.
- Marlin (10/5): Fantastic stay+++ - What a wonderful place for us to have stayed! We experienced car problems and the staff went out of their way to help us... They came and picked us up at 10:00 at night and took us back to the hotel so we
did not have to stay with our stranded car.
The next morning they let us stay in an
extra room until our car could be serviced. The ladies who run the hotel were
exceptionally nice and helpful. The
breakfast was individually prepared and
delicious. This hotel went out of its way to
make us feel welcome and secure.
A+++++ Nothing negative!
- Jane (8/5): - Meget flinkt personale, og lækker morgenmad.
- Matthew (2/5): - Unethical. The reservation defaulted to 2 guests as it does for literally every other hotel in the country. Because I did not change it to one guest they charged me an extra guest fee even though I was the only person who showed up. In other words, they stole from me, and basically said yes we are keeping the extra guest fee anyway. Simply unbelievable. If a bank mistakenly gives you $1000 instead of $100, you don’t just get to keep the extra money paid in error. That’s a crime and you go to jail if you do that.
The rooms felt like a college dormitory. Not worth the price.
They clearly hate Expedia and customers who use it. Ok. Fine. Then don’t accept reservations on Expedia. Blaming the customer and stealing from them is not acceptable.
- Margie (10/5): - Lovely place to stay, room was clean, country type feel- wonderful, will definitely book again next time through
- Vanessa (8/5): - Very nice room, no hand soap in the bathroom, you would think for $208.00 for the night there would at least be a bar of soap
- Gerry (10/5): - Rooms were clean and comfortable, quiet area great breakfast.
- Robert (10/5): - We love the staff! Everyone was super friendly! The location was great, with a short walk to the downtown area, where shops and restaurants abound. The room was clean and comfortable, but very plain and small. With a bed and two small night stands, a small table, nice refrigerator, and one chair in front of the door (getting luggage into the room was difficult).
- D/B (10/5): - Was in a great location, could walk to downtown. And many food options around. The staff are wonderful, and want to make your stay as good as can be. There is a continental breakfast that’s included ifs great, lots of hot/cold food always has coffee on and its self serve, its in the breakfast area, which is where we ate out ordered in pizza, and Cesar salad.
- Silvia (10/5): Sentirsi coccolati - La camera nuova o perfettamente rinnovata, accogliente con la perlinatura in legno. Il materasso perfetto per dormire. L'ottima colazione con uova e pancake preparati al momento.
- Luckykil (9/5): Charm, comfort & great breakfast in sweet Smithers! - Very pleasant, well cared for and comfortable old school motel very convenient to town and highway yet quiet. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable however it is an older property with dated furnishings. The breakfast was great, fresh made to order eggs, pancakes, sausages, fruit and yogurt. The people who work here are all lovely, friendly and kind. This was a sweet respite from the road in a lovely town. It's a bit dated but that was okay with us, kinda nostalgic.
- Thomas (10/5): Wir waren nur eine Nacht , können es nur weiter empfehlen. - Es war alles sehr sauber , gutes Frühstück und es war sehr zentral gelegen
- Christopher (7/5): -
- Karola (9/5): - Sehr gemütlich und persönlich! Morgens gutes Frühstück mit Eiergerichten nach Wunsch. Nette Wirtin gibt Ausflugstips Nähe zum Zentrum.
- Marie (8/5): Location and breaky will have me returning! - Location cannot be beat! Breakfast was fantastic! Bed was comfortable! Owner/staff easy to communicate with.i was able to open the window for fresh air and that’s nice. Shower was good. Petty but I love coffee in my room as I prep for the day. There was no clock in the room. Price was a bit high. The soap/shampoo dispenser in tub area was either empty or I wasn’t pushing it hard enough?
- Jennifer (9/5): Excellent location and a nice place to stay. Good value. - I have stayed here before and wanted to re-book. The hotel is very comfortable and clean. They provide a lovely breakfast and the location is perfect. We parked the car and walked everywhere we wanted to go in town. I can't really think of anything I didn't like. Overall, it fit my needs perfectly and I like staying there. It's lovely.
- Linda (10/5): - What a great find. This well run inn is located in downtown Smithers, close to shops, restaurants and city attractions. There is adequate parking. Rooms are pleasant and clean with comfortable beds. I was impressed by the reception staff and the breakfast room lady. The complimentary breakfast was well cooked. I stayed here twice on the going and the return trips. I would definitely stay here again.
- William (10/5): - Friendly service, comfortable beds.
- Naomi (10/5): We will definitely make the Stork Nest Inn our first choice in Smithers - Location was great. Easier to access on foot than I had imagined (we arrived on the train). Playground was a nice walk down the road. Breakfast was very homey and lovely. We would definitely stay there again. The price difference between booking.com and reservations via the inn's website. I realized too late that there was a $50 difference.

- Diana (8/5): Clean, safe accommodation; would recommend for a short stay - Breakfast is very good - the buffet is a great idea. Room was exceptionally clean and spacious. Housekeeper/cook is friendly and efficient. Did not expect cheap, coarse toilet paper and paper cups in a $200 room.
