• Ioannis (1/5): ΑΘΛΙΑ , με το ζόρι μείναμε την πρώτη νύχτα! Την επόμενη βρήκαμε άλλο κατάλυμα και αποχωρήσαμε από αυτή την τρώγλη! - Δεν υπήρχε κάτι να μας αρέσει…. Το ξενοδοχείο ο θεός να το κάνει δηλαδή ήταν μαύρο χάλι Δυστυχώς η εμπειρία μας στο Instabul Sydney Hotel στην Κωνσταντινούπολη ήταν απογοητευτική και σε καμία περίπτωση δεν ανταποκρίνεται σε κατάλυμα που φιλοξενεί επισκέπτες. Την κράτηση την είχαμε κάνει μέσω booking με αρ. κράτησης 6744848392. Το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται σε μια απ τις χειρότερες περιοχής της Κωνσταντινούπολης , πολύ βρωμια και κακώς κόσμος!! Από την πρώτη στιγμή που μπήκαμε στο δωμάτιο, ήρθαμε αντιμέτωποι με ακραία βρωμιά και πλήρη έλλειψη καθαριότητας. Το δωμάτιο μύριζε έντονα μούχλα, σε σημείο που γινόταν δύσκολη η παραμονή μας. Τα έπιπλα ήταν παλιά, φθαρμένα και εμφανώς ακάθαρτα, με λεκέδες και εικόνα εγκατάλειψης. Το μπάνιο βρισκόταν σε άθλια κατάσταση, με υγρασία, βρωμιά και γενική εικόνα που δεν πληροί ούτε τις βασικές προϋποθέσεις υγιεινής. Ήταν ξεκάθαρο ότι δεν είχε καθαριστεί για μεγάλο χρονικό διάστημα. Όσον αφορά τη θέρμανση, δεν υπήρχε καμία άλλη μορφή θέρμανσης πέραν του κλιματιστικού. Με τις χαμηλές θερμοκρασίες που επικρατούν αυτή την περίοδο, η θέρμανση είναι απολύτως απαραίτητη, όμως η μοναδική “λύση” ήταν ένα χαλασμένο και εξαιρετικά βρώμικο κλιματιστικό, με τη συσσωρευμένη σκόνη να φαίνεται από απόσταση, προκαλώντας ανησυχία ακόμα και για την υγεία μας. Επιπλέον δεν υπήρχε ζεστό νερό . Το κατάλυμα διαφημίζει ότι προσφέρει και πρωινό, το οποίο όμως μόνο πρωινό δεν μπορεί να χαρακτηριστεί. Ο χώρος του πρωινού βρίσκεται στον 6ο όροφο, ενώ στο κτήριο δεν υπάρχει ασανσέρ, γεγονός ιδιαίτερα προβληματικό. Ο χώρος του φαγητού δεν πληροί καμία απολύτως προϋπόθεση υγιεινής: οροφή από τσίγκους, εκτεθειμένα σίδερα, γενική εικόνα πρόχειρη και εγκαταλελειμμένη. Επιλογές φαγητού σχεδόν ανύπαρκτες. Το “πρωινό” περιλάμβανε μόνο μερικές μαρμελάδες, πραλίνα φουντουκιού, ψωμί, 2 ολόκληρα αυγά, λίγες φέτες αλλαντικών και ελιές. Σε αυτό το επίπεδο, μιλάμε απλώς για ελάχιστα τρόφιμα και όχι για πρωινό ξενοδοχείου. Ζητήσαμε ακόμα και νερό και μας απάντησαν ότι δεν υπήρχε ούτε νερό να μας προσφέρουν.

• Fede Calderón (7/5): Buena estancia - Sin duda, la ubicación es perfecta, no usamos transporte público! Le falta un poco de cariño a la habitación y como sugerencia daría que las cortinas las pongan negras porque la luz es muy fuerte cuando sale el sol.

• Zunairah (8/5): 16 day Holiday. - The staff were very friendly and always available to help. Loca was very friendly and helpful, he would have everything ready in the morning for breakfast, he would sit and chat about all the local sights to see and conversation was good. Younus was very helpful when we needed to locate the iron 😆 They can organise your pick up and drop off at the airport, its a lot cheaper than getting a taxi yourself. There was no lift in the building and it is not advertised on their website either.

The room was not soundproof; street noise from cars, motorcycles, and people was clearly audible. 2. Room service failed to restock toilet paper and soup, and the receptionist argued when I requested them. 3. There was a cockroach in the room. 4. The room was only about 24 m², not the advertised 48 m². I specifically booked it for its size, making this a blatant misrepresentation. 5. Cleanliness was appalling. 6. The following advertised amenities were missing: microwave, cleaning products, dishwasher, oven, toaster, safe box, outdoor dining area, air purifiers, iron & ironing facilities. 7. The photos are outdated, showing the building and amenities in much better condition than they currently are. 8. The breakfast area is on the 6th floor and accessible only by steep, dangerous stairs.

I recommend this hotel. Near shopping places and restaurants, the supermarket is under the hotel with very cheap prices, everything is close, only transportation and the train are ten minutes away by foot 🤔

• Hafid (7/5): A good deal for your money - the room wasn't that small but wasn't that big also, but it was comfortably spacious with three beds, a closet, a mini fridge, a small sink, a kettle, a TV, a coffee maker and few utensils, few towels and that's all the room was super clean, the view on the window wasn't as expected but okay. the breakfast was okay, not that wide ranged but okay, it's a good deal for the amount of money you're paying. the staff were kind and responsive and super sweet. the best deal out of this hotel is the area where its located, it's a somewhere of a suburb and downtown, it's close to everything (tram, metro, famous places) 10 mins walking max and if you're young 5 mins tops. the location of this hotel makes it a perfect choice because of the stores and markets near it, their prices are the lowest in all Istanbul if not all of turkey, BIM & A101 markets, also it's close to a huge clothing selling area that's famous for bulk sales but they make exceptions for tourists, i wouldn't miss it for the world. the shower was so small and can't fits two people, barely one person, the toilet was in the same room as the shower, but it was okay. there was a lot of facilities mentioned in the description but they were nowhere to be found, such as: bathrobes, a shred kitchen, dining table, toaster, oven, tumble dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, drying rack for clothing, desk, blu-ray player, iPod dock, video games, cd/dvd player. trouser press, ironing services, dry cleaning and laundry, they included these services within the description as free and comes with the room but they were not. the internet was good but in the last 3 days it was so bad and slow. the big downside is the stairs, there's no elevator in this hotel and there's 6 floors (ground with reception, 1 to 5 for rooms, two room each, and 6 to the breakfast area) the stairs were real torture especially with luggage, and if you have elderly with you that's a mission impossible

There are so many other hotels right beside this one that are 10x better/cleaner and the same price. There was mould everywhere. The shower had no doors so the entire washroom would get flooded when showering and the washroom door would not close so it was wide open the entire time. The stove did not work we told the owner, he came and yelled in our face making it seem like it was our fault, he slammed the door and left saying “you can stay inside tonight dont eat” The AC was dripping so the entire bed got wet. There was piles of dust and dirt in every corner we felt so sick after our stay. The owner was very very rude and unprofessional he would not even bring us toilet paper when we asked him multiple times. Absolutely would not stay here even if you payed me. PLEASE do not book this hotel save your money, time and HEALTH.

Wallpaper peeling off the walls. Air conditioning would stop working. Shower head off the shower. Replacement was given. But was nit satisfactory Overall experience was a disaster. Breakfast was limited and had to walk up 6 flight of stairs.
• Laura (3/5): Extremely cheap, but the facilities match the price. Probably okay for a day or two. - The location is not too bad, about 30 minutes walk from old city. There is a big hill you need to walk up to get there though. The size of the room was okay. Breakfast was okay but quite basic and limited choice. Cleanliness of the rooms. There was no cleaning while we were there and no changing of towels. The room was dirty and a lot of things were broken. In our second day we were told we needed to move to a different room which was smaller. Only one key for the room which made it difficult if one of you wanted to go out. Stairs are very narrow. In the kitchen the tables and chairs were half broken and it was very narrow.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Soggiorno economico a istanbul - Posizione buona, abbastanza vicino alle principali attrazioni, alcune raggiungibili con una camminata di circa 15 minuti oppure con i mezzi pubblici. Situato in un quartiere vivace, tranquillo e pieno di locali dove mangiare o sorseggiare un drink. La struttura purtroppo non è curata ne in buone condizioni. La colazione è nella media della Turchia in quanto a varietà: formaggi uova, salumi, marmellata, cioccolata, tè e caffè. Viene servita sulla terrazza da cui si gide una bella vista sulla città. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. Offrono a pagamento il transfert per l'aereoporto a cifra accettabile. Le camere non vengono pulite durante la permanenza. Le camere sono situate su più piani ma non c'è l'ascensore per cui sconsiglio a chi ha problemi di mobilità. Per il prezzo pagato rispetto alla media di Istanbul è accettabile!
• Shajahan (4/5): Wouldn’t use again - It was a 6/7 floor house turned into a small hotel The pictures don’t reflect the actual property, the breakfast is on the 7th floor no lift, breakfast is same 5/6 cold items everyday, 2 cheese, 2 veg, boiled egg, bread, tea, coffee. No changes at all. Stayed 10 nights didn’t even ask if we need the room cleaned or swap bed linen.

• LOUIZA (4/5): - Hôtel très bien situé à côté de la place Sulthanamet et du grand bazar. Personnel accueillant et à l’écoute. Malheureusement, l’équipement des chambres est vieillot. Le pire c’est la terrasse où l’on prend le petit déjeuner, pièce très vétuste avec des traces d’humidité et de moisissures au plafond. De plus le petit déjeuner est minimaliste servi avec du café soluble.

The washing machine doesn't work, they wash it but it smells bad and they don't dry it. The place is very neglected. At the end of my stay, a different guy helped me and helped me order the Uber. He was kind.

• FAISAL (2/5): - The receptionist gave us room in 5th floor. No lift ok no problem. But no any light in the 5th floor. Worst smell ever everywhere and room was uncleaned and dirty. The smell of worse of its kind coming from somewhere of its kind in the room, so we decided to go down and ask for to change our room. But 5th floor totaly dark and unsafe small round stairs, my daughter started crying and scared. Anyway with our mobile flash light, some how we went downstairs from 5th floor and explained everything to receptionist, but his arrogant on top and in short refused to give us any other room and asked us to cancel the reservation if we want. We were tired and cannot stay in this hotel so luckily found a hotel room at nearby hotel Sun Comfort Hotel for only one night at whooping €45 euro at 3am late night. No sleep, tired, exhausted. Then later book another reservation at turvan Hotel for remaining 4 nights itinerary number xxx. I don't understand why expedia give holiday packages to this kind of worse hotel instanbul Sydney hotel. Today is our 2nd day, we still couldn't recover from this experience and still tired exhausted, frustrated and ruined our holidays

• Léna (4/5): Cheap but bad - The hotel has no elevator and my room on the 5th but the most inconvenience the sound-proofing, you could hear everything. The breakfast has no taste. L'hôtel n'a pas d'ascenseur, il est très mal insonorisé et le petit déjeuner est sommaire. I won't go back.

• Hasan Esad (2/5): - Die schlimmste Buchung meines Lebens. Die von Expedia haben dieses Hotel bestimmt nicht einmal angeschaut. Ich werde mich beschweren da ich ein hotel mit Parkplatz gesucht und gebucht habe. Die hatte aber keine. Es war einfach nur die Hölle. Noch nie habe ich soviel für sowenig ausgegeben. Ein Zelt wäre angenehmer gewesen.

• Mohammed Muzamal (4/5): - Very old, unhygienic with old rooms and mattresses & bed bugs. When we complained about the bed bugs, the manager was not helpful and argued that we could have brought them in. He wasn’t remorseful at the fact we were itching all night & needed a new room. Very disappointed with the service. Do not recommend staying here at all! Even if it was free!!
• Md (1/5): never reccomebd this hotel - nothing property was not clean. everything on the apartment loose/ broken. staff were not helpfull. breakfast room is on the 7 th floor and no lift. breakfast is very basic no water or juice to drink. the utensils in kitchen were dirty and very old

The staff are friendly. the room is comfy and there's wifi, tv, and air conditioner as well. Not all the staff talk english so it was a little bit difficult to communicate and the room wasn't cleaned during our stay there.

Otel cok eski ve yikilmak uzere .Yerler ve dolaplar cok pis temislik sifir ,yatak ortuleri lekeli ve degistirilmiyor battaniyeler toz pislik icinde. Yataklarda killar ve kan lekeleri var hijyen sifir.Kahvalti en alt kalite .

• Verified traveler (2/5): - Zwar Zentral aber sehr dreckig und keine richtige pflege des raumes .Es wird legidlich die bettwäsche gewechselt zwar frisch aber mit vielen glecken . Dusche läuft komplett aus nach dem duschen da die kabine unten undicht war. Zwae war der preis des hotels sehr billiig abee gewisse sachen müssen stimmen.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Wenn man keine großen Ansprüche hat und eine einfache und solide Unterkunft sucht, dann kann ich dieses Hotel empfehlen. Das Zimmrt war klein, das Frückstücksbuffet einfach gehalten aber wenn man den ganzen Tag unterwegs ist, dann reicht das Hotel vollkommen aus. Die Umgebung ist gut gelegen, ist zwar ein bisschen verwinkelt aber mit ca. 12 Minuten Fußweg ist man direkt an mehreren öffentlichen Verkehrsstationen (Tram, Metro) und sehr gute Umsteigemöglichkeit.
• Vera (10/5): Недорогой отель для посещения Стамбула. - Отель располагается в районе на стыке Султан Ахмет и Яникапы. Вокруг маленькие отельчики. жилые дома. Улочка узкая, окна смотрят в окна соседнего дома. Рядом мечеть и армянская церковь. Публика ходит колоритная: туристы, турки, арабы, беженцы с Ближнего Востока. Но все спокойно и интересно. До трамвая придется идти в гору 15 мин. До метро Мармарай тоже 15 мин. по торговой улице но без горы. В отеле мы жили на 5 этаже. Лифта нет, лестница крутая. Завтрак на террасе на крыше (еще + 2 этажа).Вид с террасы на крыши домов и Голубую мечеть. Номер маленький, уютный. Есть кондиционер, маленький холодильник, большой телевизор, душ и туалет и умывальник каким-то образом тоже вписали в номер. Удобный матрас на кровати, хорошее постельное белье, по 3 полотенца на человека. Нам по просьбе принесли в номер чайник, тарелку, нож и ложки. Помогли занести наверх тяжелые чемоданы. Горничная Лайла говорит по-русски, менеджеры по-английски. Они все молодцы, помогают и советуют.

• aminvoly (2/5): Tribble location, Limited and repetitive breakfast, No room service in 5 days of our stay. - The location is tribble, it is 15 minutes away from metro station, so we had to walk for 15 minutes after a long day while we were so tired, also we had to pass through a tribble street which was so scary and full of garbage. The room was so cold, we asked for air conditioner remote control 3 times, and they had not brought it to us, so I had to walk down at the third time to bring it myself. The breakfast was limited and repetitive and the quality was normal. The shower was somehow broken, I asked them to fix it but nothing happened again. We didn't get any room service at all during our stay. The room wasn't soundproof at all, also seagulls were screaming all night, we couldn't sleep well at all.

Mr.Sengir, a wonderful man who speaks in English, Walkable distance to places of interest all within 2km radius. Once has to walk up a slop to come to the tram / hip hop bus starting point. Lots of eating places and money Xchange places. Big stores for shopping.
• Helene (8/5): Nice stay - The hotel is close to handy amenities: shops, restaurants, 5mns walk to the sea. There are so many shoe shops nearby. It's a haven place to buy shoes. The staff was nice and helpful. Fair price for the room
