- Will (10/5): Unbeatable. - Stayed here for 3 nights early October. Not sure even where to start, my partner and I are well travelled around the world. But this has got to be hands down the best place we have ever stayed. The hospitality and welcome feeling right from the beginning was unrivalled. Breakfast excelled & the room was perfect. Thank you Lucía (and the rest of the crew) you have our time on the island fantastic. Nothing to not like.

- Beate (9/5): Beste Unterkunft auf unserer Rundreise - Top Lage
sehr netter Inhaber
liebevoll gepflegtes Anwesen
- Emily (10/5): Best place to stay on San Cristobal Island! - Casa Playa Mann was the perfect place to land on our trip to San Cristobal! Property staff were the best we have ever had! They were knowledgeable, helpful, and welcoming. Would 100 percent stay at this property again. Casa Playa Mann is a great location, has the best breakfast in town, and hands down has the best people! Rooms were clean and ample in size with an outdoor sitting area in the front of each room. There was a generous common area as well filled with beautiful plants and hammocks. This property radiates the love and quality that Jose and his family have put into it.
- Wet (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic Ocean Bay view from a very large private balcony, comfortable room. Family operated , live on premises . Lucia welcomed us with her winning smile! Both she and her brother Jose were very helpful with site seeing and restaurant recommendations. We were treated to a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate our 50th anniversary.. great place to stay, 2 minute walk to Playa Mann.
- Kimberly (10/5): - The owners live on property and are friendly, helpful, and great at solving any question we had. Very fresh and tasty breakfast! Our room was large and had a huge balcony, which made it easy so spread out and also hang wetsuits and bathing suits to dry. Highly recommend!
- Jorge (10/5): Exceptional -
- Evelyn (10/5): - Very good attempt by the team
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely loved everything about our stay here. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the rooms and cute and clean, and the breakfast is amazing.
- Amanda (9/5): Our favourite hotel stay in Galapagos. - The was our favourite hotel of our whole trip to Galapagos. The staff were incredible, giving detailed information on the hotel, amenities and things to do in the area and there was always someone available to ask questions. The breakfast was delicious. The location right next to Playa Mann was fantastic and the hotel itself was beautifully decorated. We loved it. Getting hot water for a shower was a little unreliable. Some showers were hot, others tepid. The wifi wasn't great either but we cared less about that as there was too much nature to enjoy to waste time on the internet.
- Kelly (10/5): Most amazing place to stay in San Cristobal - This family owned hotel was simply perfect in every way. They went above and beyond to make sure I had an enjoyable experience. The breakfast was delicious. When I had an issue with a tour to Kicker Rock that I previously booked, Jose was able to get me on another boat at the last minute, which I really appreciated because it was a phenomenal experience. The rooms are very clean and the bed was comfortable. I really enjoyed chilling in the hammock on my balcony at sunset.
- Jay (10/5): Quiet getaway with all the amenities! - Casa Playa Mann Inn is the best little almost-hidden BnB on San Cristobal island. It sits on a low hill with my ocean-view room with its private terrace was great for watching the multicolored sunsets. Jose and everyone there will make sure you have anything you need including a great breakfast before heading out for a daily tour of the island. Their courtyard is a quaint unique gathering place before and after exploring all 360° island of adventures. Just a quiet and family-owned Inn that makes you feel as if you are the only person staying there.
- Pascal (10/5): The place to be in Puerto Baquerizo - Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, relaxed atmosphere, great location near the local beaches and sunset spots and not far from town centre, spacious rooms with big beds, delicious breakfast, exquisite offers of equipment (bathing towels, snorkelling masks, clothes hanger), impressive photos of local wildlife, good network with expert guides and drivers, feels like home The noise of trucks passing by at 6 am.
- Michael (9/5): Fantastic stay in San Christobal - Luciana and Jose made us feel super welcome. The small family-run hotel only has 6 rooms, making the experience very personal and friendly. The location is the best, close to the beach where you can swim with sea lions. Definitely book the sea-view room with terrace. We loved to relax up there and enjoy the views. The breakfast is served at the table with fresh regional products. Couldn’t wish for more. Very recommended!
- Simon (10/5): Casa Playa Man a family business, outstanding - José, our host made everything possible to assure we were satisfied. And we were. Starting before our arrival. i sent us a What’s app. message asking how was our flight, if we needed some assistance and more.
- Nicole (10/5): Don’t think twice. Book at Casa Playa Mann and you will enjoy an amazing stay! - Luciana, Jose, Mariana all made our stay special from start to finish. This is a family owned and run property with just 6 rooms. They immediately make you feel at home and assist with anything needed. My husband wasn’t feeling well and they went above and beyond to provide him with ginger tea and make sure we had what we needed. Thank you for your hospitality and an unforgettable stay! All was great!
- Kelly (10/5): We had a lovely stay at Casa Playa Mann. Being our first time in the Galapagos, we appreciated the hospitality and eage - Rooms were clean and comfortable. The porch which was almost as big as our room was our favorite. It had plenty of seating, two hammocks, and a spectacular view.
- Cheryl (10/5): - Small, family-run, boutique style hotel - just 6 rooms! You are greeted personally and the staff goes out of their way to assist with any request you have. Rooms are spotless and the room decks are wonderful for sunset views from your hammock :) Walkable to town and right on Playa Mann, this was an excellent place to stay. I highly recommend!
- Sean (10/5): - Amazing Stay here! Everyone was very nice, helpful and welcoming from Jose, Mariana and the rest of the staff. Great location near beautiful beaches and hikes, short walk to all the restaurants in town. Highly recommend !
- David (10/5): Don't Miss the Galapagos – This Quaint Hotel Makes it Easy! - This was a wonderful place to stay. The photos are accurate, it is not a new modern hotel, but the very few new modern hotels on San Cristobal will be very expensive and not worth it in my opinion. This is a very clean, very well maintained and delightful place to stay. Everything from air conditioning, WIFI, hot water, all worked very well. The view is amazing (we paid for the ocean view). The room is quite spacious and the property very quaint with places to rest/read.
A great thing about the hotel is that it is a 5 minute walk to downtown which is very close but away from the bustle. Also it is very close (few minutes) from Playa Mann which is delightful with people and sea lions hanging on the beach together. Much better than any downtown beaches.
Best of all Jose, Lu, and Lucia were the best hosts; they made us feel like family and could not be more helpful for any questions, planning, arranging a box breakfast when we were early, etc. This family-run place makes you feel that no detail is left untended to. They helped us coordinate laundry service for a small fee that made our stay easier. No regrets. Trust the reviews - you won't regret staying here!
Also - do not be scared off by Ecuador mainland crime. We Stayed at the airport hotel in Guayaquil and felt safe. Just book the Holiday Inn property right almost attached to the Guayaquil airport and you'll be good. So many are avoiding the Galapagos right now due to the mainland issues, which is a shame as it is hurting the locals and a missed opportunity to visit. The airport hotel we used in Guayaquil was literally adjacent to the airport and has reliable pickup with hotel van.
Supporting local businesses like this family-run hotel is a great way to experience the true warmth of the Galapagos while contributing to the local community. We felt so sorry to leave and so happy we chose this place.
- Mt (10/5): Gorgeous stay with the friendliest, most helpful staff! - The hotel is beautiful - one building but each room seems more private, having their own porches. Mostly, though, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, reserving cabs, helping to book day tours, restaurant recommendations, etc. If we needed anything, they were there for us, always, and without being overbearing. Incredible location in San Cristóbal. Nothing. Perfect stay.
- John (10/5): Memorable - Small personal comfortable excellent location close to beach nature walks easy walk, or even easier $2 taxi to town centre, it was a great choice for our 4 day stay. Owners and staff were attentive and helpful, good breakfast, and a relaxing, laidback vibe WiFi patchy but to be expected in such a remote location
- Pamela (10/5): - There are not enough stars to properly rate Casa Playa Mann! The location is great, the grounds are wonderful, we loved the breakfasts, but the standouts are truly the staff. It's a family-owned business and I cannot say enough about them. They were so helpful with recommendations and arrangements. Every single person we spoke with was amazing; they truly went above and beyond. I would never consider staying anywhere else on the island!
- Jeff (10/5): Wonderful-5 Star-The way they made us a part of their family! - OMG the family breakfast served with smiles and great conversation made the stay wonderful!! Tha family owned hotel has a very special place in our hearts 💕 forever and we will be back there!! The rain put only a slight damper on things but can’t control the weather! Other than that there was nothing we didn’t like!
- Kevin (10/5): Best location in town. - Great Location, possibly the best in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. View is as good as advertised in the photos and is a short walk to the middle of town.
- Chigozie (10/5): - We are so lucky we chose to stay at José and his family’s lodging. The hospitality is top tier. Thank you all for hosting us 😊
- Garrett (2/5): - I do not recommend this hostel. We asked for a different room right away because the only one small window it had was pointing into reception and breakfast area “garden view “and they said no. The morning after we arrived loud noises waked us up in the morning, right in front of our window we saw 30 people having some sort of conference, talking loud and applauding. The air conditioner was right above the bed blowing in your face, it was very old and loud as a helicopter and had a bright light. The shower drain was barely working. I had dirty water up to my ankles. You are not allowed to flush any toilet paper and are required to put used toilet paper in the garbage. There was mold in the closet and it smelled. The “safe” a $15 unit from Walmart. Small black bugs appeared all over my clothes. Our room smelled horrible. Can’t open windows because the screen had big holes in it and bugs would destroy us. We asked for no cleaning and Jose argued with me and said it is mandatory and they need to inspect the room every day for bugs! One day we asked to only change our towels, but when we came we noticed the room smelled like toxic bug spray. I got sick and nauseous right away. The conditions were totally unbearable and unsafe. We left 5 days early. The hotel refused to answer our request to refund us for the rest of the days we did not use. Expedia was unable to refund us the $600 . The laundry service I used there destroyed my $140 Tommy Bahama shirt. Two thumbs down!
- Peter (10/5): - Casa Playa Mann is the best family owned boutique hotel I have ever experienced and I have stayed at many around the world.
The brother and sister who own and manage it treated me like family throughout my 4 night stay with them. Jose even went to a pharmacy for some medicine when I was feeling unwell.
The casa is immaculately clean and the rooms very comfortable.
- Branislav (10/5): Great place to stay on San Cristobal, great location and amazing breakfast. - The place is very nice and spotless clean. We loved the location and Jose and his family make it a special place. They also provided us with very helpful tips.
- Andrew (10/5): Wonderful place - We thoroughly enjoyed friendly and comfortable environment of the hotel which is cosily located in a quite place yet close to the lively promenade and minutes from the beach. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast lovely and there’s also a pretty courtyard with hammocks and loungers in the shade of the trees. We’ve never encountered more friendly and caring service. José and his wife and staff went above and beyond to help us with everything. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend!
- Rachael (10/5): Would come back! - Very clean, nicely decorated. Bed super comfortable. Very quick walk to the malecón and playa Mann is right across the street. Host and staff very helpful. Good breakfast, too!
- Heidemarie (10/5): Fabulous relax in paradise - Wonderful people and fabulous location Loved the friendliness and close to beach
- MARIANELA (10/5): - Lucia, jose and their mom are lovely people. It felt like family. They are proud to be from there and their hotel is one of a kind with a wonderful view
- Wanzi (10/5): - Great stay at Casa Playa Mann, room is super clean and everyone is super helpful!
- Angelica (10/5): - This is an amazing hotel!! 12/10!! Definitely recommend anyone going to San Cristobal to stay here! Family run and the staff are sooo helpful and kind! Had the best time!
- Kristina (10/5): Everything was great. Jose is so kind. - Very clean, personal so kind. Location is good.
- Juha (4/5): - Basic motel tyle of propeery is outside of the town's centre. No coolers/empty minibars inside rooms to store drinks/medication.
- Sherry (10/5): A great day. I wish we had at least one more night there. we stayed for two nights. - Small family owned nicely decorated close to PlayaMann Beach . We were treated so well by Lou and her mom throughout our stay. They were able to answer all of our questions and guide us in the right direction. plenty of filtered water and coffee was available as a part of the room charge. Really can’t think of anything
- Leeanne (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent in every regard
- Ashley (10/5): - This overall stay was absolutely amazing. Such a chic, coastal, cozy, feel with the property, and the family owners were the absolute kindest and most helpful souls! I can’t wait to come back!
- Benny (9/5): Great family run boutique hotel with friendly and helpful staff - Really friendly cozy family run boutique hotel NA
- Benny (9/5): Superb -
- Karrie (10/5): - This property is family owned. They care about the customer and take great care of their guests! I highly recommend this property! The staff is always willing to give recommendations, help with questions, and provide fantastic service! Thank you for taking such great care of us!
- Gail (10/5): - The location is perfect! I was attending a conference at the USFQ GAIS campus, which was a mere one block from Casa Playa Mann. It made it easy to run back to the room between conference sessions.
Besides being one block from USFQ GAIS, the hotel is also one block from the gorgeous Playa Mann. We could walk into town in 5-10 minutes.
We stayed in room #4. The bed was very comfortable. It felt like a memory foam mattress. There were also memory foam pillows. Ductless AC in the room. A huge oceanfront balcony with the best view of the ocean, and the comings and goings on the road below. The balcony had two hammocks, a hammock chair, two rattan chairs, and a rattan couch. Hammock time was such a luxury!!! The breeze, the view . . . It was paradise.
Step in shower, that was quite big, with an oversized showerhead.
Beyond the prime location, the comforable room, and the balcony view . . . The proprieters and staff of Casa Playa Mann can not be beat! When you stay here, your money stays local! Jose speaks excellent English, and is super friendly, and willing to help with just about anything a traveller might need. Make sure to add breakfast to your stay. They're delicious, filling, and healthy. Each day, we had fresh fruit, eggs with veggies, bread, coffee, and fresh juice. You could get bacon, if you wanted it.
Casa Playa Mann is a slice of heaven on this earth. In my opinion, you get great value, foe the price. I cant wait to come back.
Gracias por todo, Jose!
- Jennifer (10/5): - Absolutely loved my stay at Casa Playa Mann
- Andrea (10/5): Our stay was a great way to start our adventure in the Galapagos. - The location was perfect for us. It was very easy to walk to the main town, while also being just across from the beach and near the walking paths to snorkeling and the Interpretation center. Jose and Lucia were extremely welcoming hosts, and they helped us with details for tours and transfers. we really enjoyed chatting with them. Breakfast was also excellent and fueled us well for our adventures. we also loved our large balcony with hammocks-a perfect place for a vacation siesta! I would 100% return. There was nothing we did not like.
- Han (10/5): Exceptional -
- angelica (10/5): - the location is fantastic to go to playa Mann, to town to eat as well as to the boats for the rides, everything 5-10 min walk. the hotel feels nice and in line with the place. a family owned locale. The staff are fantastic, super friendly and helpful
- Alexis (10/5): Beautiful stay - This is a wonderful family-owned business. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Would definitely go back!
- Bryan (10/5): The best hotel on the island! - Can’t imagine there’s a better place to stay on the island. Family owned, so they treat you like family. We stayed on the 3rd floor and had an amazing sunset view every night. Room was very comfortable, cold AC and hot showers. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff was available at any moment to help answer any questions. Will definitely stay again when we go back.
- Brett (10/5): Our hosts were the best part of our stay - Jose and his Sister were exceptional hosts and made our stay special. Short walk to beach, trails and an interpretation center. Great breakfast. Nice veranda with view. It’s location is a bit of a walk to the town.
- Maddy_jj (10/5): Wonderful stay - We had a wonderful stay at Casa Playa Mann. Great communication from José prior to our stay and he arranged the 360 tour for us which we enjoyed. The room is spotless and the view was amazing. We loved relaxing in the hammocks on the balcony. Breakfast was also lovely, we really enjoyed the fresh juice in the mornings and the various jams. We appreciated all the recommendations from Jose and Lucia of what to do and where to eat whilst there. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if on San Cristobal. The location is great, just a 5 minute walk to the centre and also close to Playa Mann and the interpretation centre.
- Daniel (10/5): our stay was a dream come true - This place is perfect. The hosts, the room, the food, the bed and the location. You leave the hotel and 2 minutes later you are on a beautiful sandy beach with sea lions and iguanas. When you get hot there is a restaurant with nice food and drinks. The hosts are the nicest people and very knowledgeable.
- Aimee (10/5): - We spent 5 days in San Cristabol stayed in the ocean view suite at Casa Playa Mann and it was absolutely the best! The staff was so kind and helpful Lou and Marteen took such good care of us and our conversations were a huge blessing to us. They told us everything we needed to know to find the best day trips and even arranged a last minute snorkeling boat tour for us! If we ever go to San Cristabol again, we simply would not stay anywhere else. The location was perfect walking distance to several beaches and to the malecon in town. The breakfast was so good and Lou always made sure I had gluten free options of yummy baked goods. She was such a sweet lady. Pure Joy! Lord willing our paths will cross again. The room had everything we needed all the small details make a huge difference when traveling in Ecuador you don't always expect little extras like coffee in the room or shelves in the shower but it is nice when it happens makes you feel pampered. The fridge on patio to come back to cold drinks was also a huge bonus for us, the view from the patio was spectacular.Thank you for hosting us!
- christina (10/5): - Such a warm and friendly hotel. You are made to feel like you are at home. The room had a spectacular view of the sea. Everything was spotless. The breakfast was amazing too. Nothing was too much trouble.
- Abel P (10/5): - If you want to stay in a quiet/clean place that is close to the beach and also downtown, Casa Playa Mann is a great spot. Staff is very attentive.
- Jose (8/5): Very good -
- Juan (10/5): - Gran atención y servicio por parte de los dueños.
- George (10/5): - Staff was great on organizing transportation. Breakfasts were grand. Good communication
- Tracey (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay here. Family-owned and they greet you with fresh juice upon arrival, which is wonderful after travel. The room was clean and comfortable and we loved the hammock outside of our room.
- Nicole (7/5): A good 3 days on San Cristobal!! - Family owned business. wonderful and helpful!!! The room was dated and the mattress quite uncomfortable. our room was #3 and under an overhang so quite dark and dingy.
the ocean view is what we thought we booked. they looked very nice and bright.
- Marin (10/5): - It is a very nice place, super close to a very nice beach, with SUPER friendly owners. I strongly recommend it!
- Rebecca (10/5): Great stay! - Can't say enough good things about our stay at Casa Playa Mann. It's a family-run hotel and you can tell they care about everyone's experience while staying with them. Jose reached out before we arrived and helped us get some activities booked since we were having trouble contacting the companies directly, which took a lot of stress off of our trip. He helped coordinate anything we needed during our stay.
As for the property itself -- it was very comfy. It's walkable to the Malecon/main area of town and a few different beaches. The room was the biggest we had during our stay in the Galapagos, which was nice because it let us spread out a little bit for the first time in awhile. Having a place to refill water bottles was super convenient (and they also leave water pitchers in the room every day). The showers had hot water (although it was HOT when we visited, so I opted for cold showers). The only negative is that the wifi isn't very good, but that was true of everywhere we visited in the Galapagos, so it wasn't something I was expecting.
The breakfast was great and they can cater to dietary needs (vegan for us) as long as you let them know beforehand.
Overall, I'd highly suggest staying here if you get the chance. We had a great experience.
- Collin (10/5): - I can’t recommend Casa Playa Mann enough. Though it is off the main part of town (a ten minute walk) it is actually closer to many beautiful hiking areas and all the beaches. It is also quieter. Jose and his sister Lucia made us feel at home and we’re incredibly accommodating. They helped us with restaurant recommendations, things to do and just made us feel very welcome. The room was great with A/C and a comfortable bed. Couldn’t recommend it more
- Olaf (10/5): - Amazing place and a perfect location. Jose and Lu their mom and Grandma are all so kind and helpful. They are constantly asking if you need anything and has been one of the nicest places to stay on our travels. You feel like family. We loved the location as it is walking distance to town and the beach but very quiet at night. The restaurant recommendations were all great. Thank you all again for the wonderful stay. Definitely highly recommend booking here.
- Katherine (10/5): Great spot, accomodation and owners. - The breakfast is insane! We loved our room, the location right across the street from Playa Mann and it was great for our kids. Owners are hands on and very kind and welcoming. Nothing
- Rod (10/5): Wished we could have stayed longer than the two nights we allocated to San Cristobal . - excellent location within a 2 minute walk to the beach area and 5 minutes walk to central village core. Couldn’t be better located. Mix a drink and wander down to Playa Mann Beach for the sunset and be entertained by the sea lions. Totally safe area; but so is the whole island likely .Also a stone’s throw to the interpretation centre and a couple of short interesting hikes to a lookout and another more remote beach. But best were Jose and his wife who run this small family business at the highest professional level. Jose will call and confirm or arrange anything you might ask him to do, even if has nothing to do with his hotel business. And if you only speak English, both Jose and his wife are fluent in English. Jose spent some time in Canada as an Exchange student. Quiet and unassuming but firm and persuasive when advocating for your interests with third parties. Could not have been more impressed and this was not our first travel rodeo. And rarely take the time to do reviews. Nothing remotely eligible for complaint.
- Sara (8/5): - Casa Playa Mann is a lovely little bed and breakfast. It has 3 rooms downstairs and 3 rooms upstairs with large balconies and amazing views of the harbor and sunsets. The breakfast is home cooked and delicious. Jose, the proprietor, and his staff are very friendly and helpful. We look forward to staying there again.
- Rosemary (9/5): We loved San Cristobal. The island is beautiful with a laid back vibe. This hotel was perfectly located to the small tow - Jose, Lucia and all the staff were super friendly and very helpful. They go out of their way to help you. Remember to bring cash, there are additional service charges if you pay with a credit card. Sadly, we were not able to get cash from the ATM machines in the island.
- Micah (7/5): Cozy rooms close to the Beach - The owners are awesome. they were incredibly helpful and gave us all the information and tips we needed to enjoy our time in San Cristobal. The location is good depending on your priority as it’s near the hiking trials and Playa Mann but further form Restaurants. As nice as it was the price was hefty. it’s not exactly a 4 star resort but the price seems higher then it should.
- Tammy (10/5): Amazing Stay - We cannot say enough good things about staying here. First of all, the owners Jose and Lucia are some of the kindest and warmest people we have ever met. We had so many questions before and during our trip and Jose was absolutely amazing. His recommendations and connections throughout the island were invaluable. He would start working on things for us if he knew we had an issue before we even asked him to. We have traveled extensively internationally and he has been the most helpful person we have ever come across.
The breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious.
Our room with the patio and hammocks added such a special touch. We loved relaxing out there as we looked at the ocean and enjoyed a good book.
The location is perfect. It’s a 5 minute walk to the main part of town. This was awesome as it protected us from the quite vocal sea lions that hang out on the beach all along the Malecon. The hotel is also closer to the lovely walk up to the high view point at La Tijeretas, Punta Carola Beach and the Interpretation Center.
Amazing experience. You will not be disappointed. Nothing!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our stay was fabulous! Yummy pineapple bread with tea when we arrived and such a friendly, helpful host. Our room was spacious and had several places to store our luggage and clothes. It was all exceptionally clean and bright. The common area outside the room was lovely and perfect for relaxing with a book. The breakfast was served on a colorful table cloth. The meal was outstanding! Fresh fruit from the island, yummy yogurt, granola, just a perfect dipping amount of chocolate, 2 types of bread and a scrumptious cheese, bacon, and veggie omelette. The host’s sister prepared and served the best breakfast we had on all 3 islands we visited. The location of casa Mann is great - easy to walk to town and just 2 minutes from a fabulous beach. We would definitely choose to come back here again and again!
- Idoco24 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (9/5): Excellent service - Staff was super friendly and able to help us get a last minute trip to Isla Española. The room was comfortable with a nice balcony and view over the harbour. Close walking distance to the centre with a nice breakfast It’s a bit expensive, probably too much, as everything on the Galapagos
- Depue (9/5): Fantastic service such friendly staff -!!!welcoming lobby - The owner and his sister were so personable and friendly and welcoming
we liked the feel of a very small boutique type hotel and we had a great little balcony overlooking the boats - water
Two hammocks and some chairs to relax on the porch -great AC
I thought the breakfast was one of the best I had the entire 24 days of our journey through Ecuador -everything was fresh and locally sourced and homemade
kudos to the kitchen and cooks Maybe a little pricey
- Lisa (9/5): This is a family-run hotel and the hosts are wonderful! Very considerate, informative & lovely! - The hotel location is an easy walk to the town center, to the Playa Mann beach, and to a local museum of the island. Great views of the bay!!
- Rebecca (10/5): Staying here makes your vacation - Staying at Casa Play Mann made our experience in the Galapagos. The room view was unbeatable for sunsets. The family the runs the hotel was so kind and helpful, and we learned so much from them.
- David (9/5): Our stay was made all the better by our discussions with the amazing hosts. We loved our stay. -

- Elizabeth (10/5): Best family run hotel on the island - they made our stay amazing! - I could go on forever about how wonderful the family is that runs this hotel. I have never felt so personally cared for by hotel staff in my life. We had a short window of time to visit San Cristobal and a list of things/animals we wanted to see. The family was so helpful and knowledgable, we were able to knock out pretty much everything we wanted. And to top it off, our Ocean View room was spectacular!!!! The view was wonderful, the room was so inviting and comfy I almost felt bad about leaving every day to go on an adventure. The home made breakfasts were delicious. The location was just a few steps from the beach where sea lions congregate and a wonderful set of hiking trails you could take to see breathtaking views and a few marine iguanas! I wish I could have stayed longer!
- Michael (9/5): Superb - The price is more expensive than some of the places on the island but the location as well as the breakfast is well worth it
- Roisin (10/5): Absolutely perfect - Jose and Lu were so welcoming. Helping us plan our day, organising a guided tour, recommending a restaurant, sorting our laundry. They were always on hand to answer our questions or provide help. It genuinely felt like we were their friends, rather than just guests at the hotel. The hotel breakfast was a highlight.....home cooked and delicious with local treats. We only had one night at the Casa Playa Mann, but we wished we had stayed longer. Strongly recommend!! There really was nothing they could have done better. Our only request perhaps is wine by the glass rather than just by the bottle so we could enjoy the gorgeous terrace
- Loni (10/5): - Jose was the nicest! His family super sweet! They were Very communicative and super helpful every step of the way! Even weeks before our reservation! I would 10/10 recommend!!
- Paul (10/5): Highly recommended… - Jose and Lucia were true and welcoming host. A fantastic family run venue with lots of character…a few steps from a great beach.
Wonderful and convenient venue and great value.
- Steve (10/5): - The Guerrero family is simply the nicest the family in all of the Galapagos. They would, and did, everything to make our stay wonderful. Steps from a beautiful beach!
It was perfect!

- Marjorie (10/5): 4-night solo stay! - Had a wonderful 4 night stay on the island. Jose helped with day trips by contacting the tour company and setting everything. He was so kind, patient and attentive to all of my needs during my stay. The breakfast was delicious and available when I was ready. I can’t say enough good things about Casa Playa Mann.
