Angelika (9/5): Kleines Hotel mitten in der Stadt - Kleines Hotel, ca 20 km vom Flughafen entfernt. Wir hatten ein Studio mit zwei Schlafzimmer und voll ausgestatteter Küche. Das einzige was fehlte war der Wasserkocher. Unser Zimmer war genau unter dem Dach und den Tag war es sehr stürmisch. Wir dachten das Dach fliegt weg, es hat alles geklappert. Also lieber ein Zimmer unten buchen.

Peter (8/5): Great place to organize and get supplies before a round the country road trip. - It was clean, beds were comfortable, and on the airport side of San Jose. Also only a 10 minute walk from a supermarket. They were kind enough to have the check-in desk remain open till I got in from the airport close to midnight. Price was unbeatable and the area seemed quite safe. They were also able to organize a driver to pick us up at the airport at a reaonable cost (highly recommended). I rented a two bedroom apartment that incuded bathroom and kitchen. It lacked a livingroom area but in fairness to them, it was not advertised as having one - only mentioned in case it is important to a potential renter. Its also half and hours drive from the airport - close might be nicer if your using it as an airport hotel.

Carolina (10/5): Estadia excepcional! Vale muito a pena! - Esse aparthotel foi uma surpresa maravilhosa e com certeza as fotos não fazem jus a qualidade desse lugar. O quarto é maior que muito apartamento de sp, realmente incrível: é uma casa completa (fogão que funciona, microondas, cafeteira, geladeira). Tem cozinha, quarto enorme com uma cama excepcional, sala de jantar e um banheiro enorme com banheira que cabem 2 com tranquilidade. Os funcionários são super atenciosos, o espaço é silencioso e bem limpo. A localização é ótima de fácil acesso para uber. Fica próximo do Walmart Santa Ana. Recomendo fortemente esse hotel, foi uma feliz surpresa na nossa “luna de mel” Não teve nada que não gostei. Simplesmente fantástico

The rooms are spacious and a warm shower in Costa Rica is a rarity so that was a bonus. Very clean. There is a bespoke Burger place a close walk away Don Pedro? Really great food. In any case plenty of food and market options for a spot of in house cooking. Recommended.

The staff was very helpful; there was a slight mixup with the room, but they were able to come up with a solution we were happy with. Thank you.

Laura (8/5): Budget Hotel for Flying Out of the Airport - Location is in walking distance (.2 miles) from lots of nice shops and restaurants. It's clean. The parking is secure. The staff is friendly and professional. I saw that some reviewers said it looks "scary" or "dangerous." It's not. This is just what the real Costa Rica looks like. It's a budget hotel. You will get what you pay for, but if you are looking for a cheap place to stay overnight before flying out, this is your spot. Just be aware that the airport is 25 minutes away in light traffic and an hour away in heavy traffic. It's not an easy, breezy trip, but nowhere in San Jose is that.

George (10/5): Excellent place to stay, in a great location, but a bit pricey. - Excellent location near the airport. We had a suite which included a very adequate kitchenette complete with a full size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and blender. The rooms were relatively large. There were also lots of restaurants in the area, and it was safe. The staff were friendly and helpful. The wiFi was fast and reliable. There was also a comfortable and quiet sitting area beyond the lobby. A lower price would have been nice.
Verified traveler (10/5): great basic, no frills older &super service - Excellent basic, a little older, no frills accommodation. Very friendly stay...and they go out of their way to be over the top helpful on any issue. In terms of service despite the fact I don't speak Spanish...they could teach fine hotels what service means. Breakfast to room $8! Again, not fancy but lower price is a great tradeoff. A side street in Escazu but short Uber ride to Multi Plaza and restaurants in neighborhood. A terrific value considering all. If your wife wants fancy and a resort pool go somewhere else.

Larry (10/5): - Our flight landed at midnight, I messaged that would arrive later because of customs and finding transportation. They had everything ready , we signed in showed our passport and done, great service, always stay there
Dr. Max (6/5): Pleasant Find! - This was a wonderful little find near the center of San Jose. The apartment was fully finished with all that a traveler would need for either a short of longer stay. We were leaving the next morning so we were not able to enjoy much of what the property had to offer. The breakfast was excellent and was delivered to our room at the requested time. Our only minor observation was that as this property was located in the downtown area, the local traffic and pets did prevent us from having a completely restful night. Other than that, this was an amazing deal for the cost.

Gary (8/5): Very good - If you want to be close to Escazu and Santa Ana for hospital or dental care, but also want a more traditional CR hotel experience, this is a good option. 500 metres from shopping, but in a traditional neighborhood. Lovely staff and owners. Great Arapas breakfast offered. Rustic, traditional, but with gated secure parking in back. Staying safe, with kind, hardworking owners. Not luxury but full kitchen, clean, functional. Uber eats can get you most any food within 30 minutes...so very convenient stay. Missing a fan in the room, but supplied as needed.

Julien (6/5): - Deux expériences dans l'hôtel. Première sans soucis. Au deuxième, l'hébergement réservé sur Expedia ne correspondait pas à celui qui nous a ete donné (un lit au lieux de deux). L'hôte n'a rien voulu entendre... Dommage car les hébergements étaient bien sinon.
