- Mohring (10/5): - The beds were very cozy and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were very pleasant and professional. We liked that there were many features and it accommodated our needs. We also saw a family of deer from our bedroom window, which made the visit quite memorable. Our only concern was that one of our rooms was cold. My mother and I stayed in Room 402 and the radiator would regularly blow out cold air. I did speak with the front desk staff who were able to increase the temperature from their computer. This worked temporarily but the next day it was cold again. As a suggestion, you may want to send a technician to investigate.

Guests who have food restriction they will not like it. I saw one guest used same spoon for sausage and scrumbled egg because both were served in same dish.

- Jesse (3/5): No sleep here. - The staff was pleasant. The Hotel was clean. Check in was quick. Breakfast was good. Impossible to set temperature in room, constantly going from freezing to boiling hot with one click degree back or forth, very uncomfortable made it hard to sleep. Then they decided to shovel snow at 1:30 am out side my window for 30 mins with loud rumbling plastic shovel waking me up again.

- susan (8/5): A nice place to stay in Lac La Biche. - Husband enjoyed the breakfast. It was a nice comfortable, clean room in a quiet location. Encounters with the staff were always pleasant. The room was dark- hard to get ready for a wedding. A big part of the room where the table and chairs are didn’t have any electrical outlets. Toilet seat is quite low.

The breakfast was good only things I would slightly would have wished for was after breakfast was done coffee creamer was still available not just powdered coffee enhancer, and stronger coffee. - Stephen (10/5): - The Lac La Biche Canalta is a very nice property. Our room was clean, spacious, had good amenities, and comfortable. The AC/heating is very good, allowing for adjustments and the system responded quickly. The staff were very friendly and the continental breakfast area was clean, food was good (same as most continentals) and the lobby very welcoming. We will stay here again!

Advise to remove all belongings from the vehicles and keep them locked. Typical to warm to remove belongings but not for the significant amount of break ins. Unclear if hotel have increased security measures.

No Kids or druggies running down the hall Only apples for fruit, staff barely acknowledges guests aside from check-in. No explanation about area, suggestions. All and all though it was worth it and will be returning. Definitely more interaction (maybe greeting guests as they come in lobby or to eat) customer service is a huge aspect.

- Sydney (10/5): - Everything about the hotel is great, except truckers park on the west side, one of which ran their truck for nearly 12 hours overnight during our stay, starting at around 7 pm. It was incredibly disruptive and it was loud enough to disturb our sleep. Next time I'll be requesting to stay on the east side of the building.

The staff was amazing, breakfast was wonderful, and hotel was very clean! Our only complaint was the bed. As our bodies get older it's harder to adjust to different beds and this spring mattress was quite firm.
