Guest Reviews
- fouadh872 (2/5): Money Stollen from my room - I had a very disappointing experience at Aldar Hotel in Sharjah. During my stay, 2800 AED was stolen from my room. When I approached the hotel manager about reviewing the security camera footage, he initially agreed but then took no action. The receptionist showed me footage from a different camera but claimed that the one on the fifth floor wasn’t recording. This raised my suspicions that the hotel may know who took my money but is protecting them. I filed a complaint and hope for justice. I cannot recommend this hotel; it feels unsafe and untrustworthy.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible - Unhygienic
- 88gracia (2/5): Unprofessional and no manner receptionist named Ritika or Ratika - We booked and pay in advance for a deluxe king room for 2 nights. After the 1st night of our stay, We discover that the room was given was not the same as we booked(WE BEEN CHEATED), It is lower than room category we booked which is standard king room (less price) only without informing us. I call reception to ask, they confirm that my conclusion is correct. Ratika or Ritika the receptionist justify that we requested for early check in that why she give us this room- but I asked her why she didn’t informed us before giving.
Now the worst happen!!! on her defense ( she ask so stupid question) she sounds so rude asking me why i didnt question her from upon check in (THIS IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL you have to be honest to your guest) In additional she ask me to pay more cause as per her rate that I booked was lower than the rate on her system ( come to think that I should pay more for the room that is lower category than I booked & pay) she is the reservation manager as she said , but the way she is talking, she don’t know her job ( She need more training) , after that she is forcing us to change the room, she is sending her colleague 3 times on our room knocking to change the room but I didn’t yet ready our things (your personal touch being hotelier was not there at all). But finally, the GM to talk to me and give us late check out as the compensation for what happen and were very thankful for that but not worth it with the stress and energy that we wasted on this no manner & unprofessional receptionist Ritika or Ratika.
- 173levij (2/5): Booking room - I called to make a booking on phone call I talked to an indian Lady Called Maha from the reception too bad she was soooooo rude to a point of telling me that she got other business to attend to than making a booking and hanging up the call on me...if she dosnt feel like working why be in a good hotel.....poor service ms.Maha very very poor.
- bitarbasem (2/5): Bad experience - Slow internet, small rooms, TV was not working well, bad service and not clean. No parking for cars and towels in bathroom and it cost AED 25 for each. I wont try this place again and i wish if i can give no stars ...
- annaleed2019 (8/5): Nice stay - Staff are friendly and accommodating. They are making sure the room is always clean. Proper communication for any hotel safety precautions were communicated to all guests. Very accessible to grocery and restaurants.
- bitarbasem (2/5): Very Bad Experience - Booked city view room, I was giving something else, no parking in hotel or outside, Shower not working, TV has issue, no bath towels, rooms are super small and tight. No safe to keep important stuff. Very bad experience. Checked in at 2PM checked out same day at 5PM
- ronano480 (10/5): once upon a summer time - this hotel never gets me down. its a simple but impressive property. this is my second time in this hotel and i will be coming back everytime there is an opportunity. if you want just to relax and keep yourself away from any stressful work. i will recommend this hotel to those who are planning to visit most of sharjahs attractions and are on budget wise trip.
- Humam (6/5): الفندق غير منظم - الفندق غير منظم من ناحية الحجوزات والغرف معاملة سيئة
- Abdul4best (2/5): Waste of money Bad service - Greetings,
this is the terrible hotel i have ever stayed in , not comfortable at all , first of all i have checked in late 4:30PM it took them that long to check me in , then i complain for ac as the room was fully hot in this beautiful weather, just now its 1:53 AM they change me in a room which is 200 times worst then before, the direction of the bed specially , the staff is so rude that if u ask them something they forgot. silly management. the room in which they transferred me there was no refrigerator no kettle. let me share some pics.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - rooms are not very clean. Bed is not ok. no parkings and I'd got a fine.
- Anony985 (2/5): avoid it - "filthy" rooms, extremely old furniture and there were no towels. this is the worst hotel ever. Room was dirty, shelves in the wardrobe broken. would not recommend it at all...there are better places in sharjah with better rates.
- Chatia92 (4/5): Worst experience! - We arrived on 19 in the night, tired after a long flight. We checked in and after arriving to the room we remained shocked. Room was dirty, shelves in the wardrobe broken and no towels at all. We went down and asked for room change, there were 2 gentleman at the front desk, we went to the person who checked us in, explained the situation and asked to be moved, his reply was “let me send someone to clean the room “ are you serious it’s 1 o’clock night, this should have been done way earlier. The other receptionist overheard the conversation and gave us another room. Next day we wake up and there is no hot water in the room. Nobody informed us that we needed to switch on the water heater every time we needed to shower. Worst of all was the fact that room keys were not working for 3 days and they couldn’t fix it because the machine was not working, so every time we wanted to enter the room we had to go to the reception and ask them to open the room. We had to stay 7 days however left after 3 days.
- 586na (2/5): bad hotel, avoid it - this is the worst hotel ever. They stole from my room.
works on daily basis.
same buffet for 14 days
staff are so un-professional
this should be a 1 star
no parking (park outside in an area looks like kabul and wake up at 6am to move the car)
- Sambal2977 (8/5): Exceptional housekeeping services - Very clean and hygienic. Credit goes to two guys specially Naeem and Kamran. Their behaviour and service centricity touched my heart. Must mention the restaurant services and breakfast was quite reasonable.
- ronano480 (10/5): The Best City View - This is the first time i visited Sharjah. Me and my partner decided to check for a affordable but nice hotel that is near to all the tourist destination in Sharjah and we picked Aldar. And we are never disappointed. fast in fast out. its like a snap of a finger. like a minute or two as we came we are in the roommas we checked out, just a thumbs up from the lady in the reception and we're out. by the way, the receotion was so nice and helpful. i requested fir an upper storey room that faces the city view. but before i ask here she knew already what i will be requesting and its a wish luck i got it. she is very polite also. i hope i get her name right. MAJAH if i dont forget it. i was so sleepy when we came to the hotel and fast check in is a big help.
The room is exactly the room what i see in their ads. so cute and very comfortable. i sleep well. its facung the city view and street view but never heard some noise from outside. In the morning since we are tired traveling from Dubai to Sharjah and we want to spend more of our time in a very cozy room, we decided to order breakfast from room service. i was thinking that this might be a bit low standard breakfast we are ordering because its only around 35 dirhams for 2 orders of egg dish, fruit platter and tea. but we were shocked when the breakfast came it is more than we expected. i feel guilty for my negative assumption
fr our order. we get more than enough for what we pay with our breakfast. aside from its fast and fresh and hot. the omelet, sausages, tea and sliced fruit made our day... bathroom bit small hinestly but it never bothers me because if all the good headstart that we get. need to request eary though for extra towels and bath gel, shampoo, and lotion. maybe they are running out of it sometimes. but again it never distract us for what a good experience we had.
This hotel needs a higher star rating than a 3.it should be 4.5 star.
we will definitely coming back soon.
thank you Aldar Hotel for the best experience in a short stay.
- rahim (2/5): Dåligt hotell - Sämsta hotellet som finns i hela värden.
Det som finns på bilderna stämmer inte alls med verkligheten
- alaa (6/5): - It is far from the airport
- Tina (6/5): Basic Hotel that would suit some people - I did not spend very long at Aldar Hotel, being there was not my choice and I left at the earliest opportunity. However I stayed in two types of rooms on different days. The first room which was their standard room was way too small especially the bathroom, it was simply too tight, therefore was not worth the money at all.
I subsequently stayed in the family room which was basically two separate rooms connected with one entrance. One of the rooms has a king size bed with its own bathroom and bathtub and the other room had two separate beds and I believe a bathroom with shower area which was bigger than the bathroom in the standard room.
Overall, the hotel was clean, but it was very basic and nothing special.
The area its located, I believe its closer to the Sharjah city centre. The internet was ok but they went through a period when it didn't work.
- Shoeb (6/5): - It’s not a very luxurious property, bathroom are very small. But if u want to save some money then not a bad choice. You will small restaurant near by and convenient plc if you hv some work in Sharjah.
- Akmal (10/5): Nice and very comfortable for the refreshing - I like
- Amy (8/5): - Good hotel for the money. Service to things like no towels, old food in fridge and tv problems was prompt and helpful.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Litet, omodernt och fanns inte någon som helt snack eller dryck tillgänglig. Ett minus från vår sida då vi anlände sent och vi inte hade möjlighet att ta oss till en affär.
- abdullah (10/5): good price - good location
- Abdullahi (8/5): Hotel was in the centre of Sharjah - I enjoyed may stay. I did not had issues except missing shower curtain.
- Waqas Ahmad (4/5): - Not good n satisfied
- 584abdule (6/5): Get what you pay for! - The room is okay, I had to change rooms twice because the A/C wasn't working.
The toilet doesn't flush properly!
The shower is mega weak!
YOU WILL NOT FIND PARKING!!!
But if you're looking to stay for a couple of nights only then it's okay...
The staff were fairly helpful
The location is fairly close to bus stops and you'll be able to get round the city quite easy
If you have friends to stay here with then to you'll like it here because there is hardly any social atmosphere here.
- Wahab (6/5): Great for money - Its was ok
- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable hotel with nice location - Pros:
1. Comfortable hotel for 2 people to stay for few days.
2. Very cost effective
3. Nice location - taxi available 24/7, 1 km from bus stand, 4~5 kms from beach, local market & restaurants just 50 yards away
4. Hotel staff is very supportive...gave all the info about tourism, travelling, marketing and all
5. Free unlimited wifi
Cons:
1. Room not cleaned even once in 2 night 3 days stay
2. Nobody nor even taxi drivers know about the location of the hotel. Tell them that it is just near Rotana hotel in Al Nabba.
Surely go for it!
- maherjad (8/5): Nice but needs to take care more from the ceaninig staff - Its a nice small room clean with nice soft decoration. ..good just for sleep coz there is no fun at all in the hotel. .but the location it was perfect near from every thing ..and the room quite with a nice view. . Just need to take more care of the cleaning staff coz at my last went bath was so dirty with stone at land..and some room bath its sooo small...
- SELLATHAMBY (10/5): - Overall is a good place to stay.
- Muhammad (8/5): - Really prime location to stay in Sharjah but wifi was sadly very bad reception.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not bad for only one night - It was clean but there were not any restaurants or malls around it . It located in old area
- Verified traveler (2/5): Very very bad hotel - This is not a hotel
The room was very dirty and small, no internet connection .
some times the tv is working and most of the times not.
No laundry , no restaurant , no room service.
I dont recommend this hotel to any body.
- itskimmyo (6/5): Nice new hotel, room for improvement - This hotel has only been in business for 4 months as of January 2015. Its locates directly next to the 4star hotel, Sharjah Rotana. Getting a taxi is easy, and traffic is not a problem in this area. There are a lot of supermarkets, pharmacies and shops in the same street as well as around the hotel area.
The king deluxe room is a must if you value 'average room sizes' since the standard rooms are very small, especially the city view ones, which is unfortunate. The rooms are nicely furnished, new and clean but with amateur finishing making it average. The beds are comfortable.
The staff is very helpful although they dont have everything quite under control yet. I'm sure they will figure it out after a while. Wifi was free for us, eventhough this is not standard. Housekeeping still needs some training/rules...they hardly show up and when they do its very very late.
The gym was not operational yet, neither was the cafe, not sure how long that will take though the receptionist informed me it will be ready in a few weeks.
All in all, its a very cheap affordable new hotel. Location is fine, rooms are OK and i am expecting them to get better as time goes on. I think this hotel is good value for money if you dont mind a few hick ups along the way..
