• Dominique (10/5): Suffisant pour quelques jours - Location située dans un centre de vacances. Bien équipée et dotée de bonne literie. La cuisine est fonctionnelle. Le parc du centre est très agréable et ombragé. RAS

L'accès à la plage 150m la saison était terminé : donc aucun accès à la piscine, au restaurant, au bar et à la plage privée l'équipement de l'appartement très limité : pas de grille pain, pas de micro-onde, pas de four, pas de lave vaisselle ni de produit vaisselle, éponge, torchon.. et pas de machine à laver à disposition dans le complexe. Dommage
• Suzanne (8/5): Great location, friendly and responsive staff, comfortable rooms! - Location was perfect, just a few mins to the beach. It was unfortunate that the beach restaurant was not open, however we were still able to use the beach chairs/umbrellas which was what we wanted and why we booked this specific hotel. The communication with staff was great, they did inform me in advance that this would be the case and were responsive when I reached out with questions. We ended up arriving later than expected and they ensured someone was available to check us in. The security guard even ran to our room one night when we left the light on in our car to inform us. Everything was pleasant and we really enjoyed our stay. There wasn't much we didn't like, the only thing was we wish we had a sponge, dish soap, or other cleaning supplies so we could clean up our dishes more easily.

• ingrid (9/5): Heerlijk huisje bij mooi zwembad en makkelijke toegang tot het strand - Comfortabel huisje voorzien van een goed bed , 2 airco’s,tuinmeubelen en twee ligbedden op het terrasje. Een mooi zwembad met badmeester tussen de olijfbomen. Goed onderhouden prima ligbedden. Er is een toegangsweg naar het strand een paar minuten lopen. Een restaurant is ook aanwezig. Bij de receptie is een kleine bar om wat te drinken en een croissant of zo te eten . Er is wat weinig keukengerei.
• Sue (7/5): It’s a holiday camp, there are hundreds along this area of coastline however visiting out of season was quiet and pleasa - Handy location for exploring Manfredonia, Vieste & Peschci, & Gargano National Park. Restaurant adequate for a quick bite to eat on late arrival, but nothing special, we bought lovely fresh produce and sat outside our room for our second night, far better.

Staff gentilissimo, super disponibile e sempre sorridente. Nella nostra prenotazione non era inclusa la prenotazione, abbiamo usufruito per un giorno comunque della colazione intercontinentale come extra molto buona ma, anche la semplice colazione al bar del villaggio era ottima. Le bellezze del Gargano incantano ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

• Patrick (6/5): Lovely property with friendly staff, but the accommodation did not justify the cost of the stay - The staff were super lovely when we needed stuff and made fantastic cappuccinos. Overall, the amount we paid did not align with our expectations. The rooms appeared quite dated and were not particularly clean — there was a noticeable smell of vinegar, dead insects on the floor and stained bed sheets. The amenities provided were minimal; for example, only one roll of toilet paper was supplied for the entire week, and no detergent or cleaning products were available for dishwashing nor any appliances we could use. Additionally, we were required to pay extra to access the beach and use the sunbeds. Breakfast was extremely overpriced and of mediocre quality. In general, we felt that numerous hidden charges were added on top of the initial cost, which left us feeling that the experience was poor value for money.

• Lissia (10/5): Exceptional - It is a really nice and well maintained resort! You can walk to the beach in about 5 minutes, the pool area is also really nice. The whole area is covered with olive trees, which gives a beautiful atmosphere. Would definitely come back!

• Metan (8/5): I was very satisfied - Our stay was at the end of the season in September, so the resort was already partly empty. As the weather was beautiful and sunny, the stay was extremely successful. A little cramped bathroom. The amenities could also include 2 plates, a fork and a knife - things you don't bring on the airplane, but will be nice if you want to enjoy a bunch of grapes or a piece of cheese with your wine on the terrace.

• zorkak500 (10/5): Nice place for a holiday - My daughter and I spent a week in one bedrom garden unit. It had a terrace and small garden in front of it with two loungers, perfect for relaxing or reading a book. The resort is very tastefully designed and very well maintained. The beach is very close and a small city Mattinata about 20 min walk.
• 453mauroc (10/5): Excellent apartment and very friendly owners - We spent 2 weeks in Villaggio San Matteo. We are family of four. 2 parents and 2 daughters (12 and 14). Apartments are really in perfect shape. New furniture and very nice garden in the middle of olives trees. Excellent service and excellent support. One day we had a technical problem with the fire in the kitchen and in less than one hour it was fixed. But fixing the problem was not enough and the owner decided also to offer us lunch at restaurant for the inconvenience. Every morning myself and my wife enjoyed walking or running in the neighbors. When we were coming back Mario was always ready to give advise on where to go next and what to visit. His passion for the land, for the trees and for the history of the place was really contagious. He even gave name to individual olives trees. The beach is nice and is really close to the apartments (less than 4 minutes walking). Great experience to be repeated
• cherry_bobby (8/5): Clean, comfortable and convenient - We stayed 2 nights in a 1-bedroom apartment with onsite parking. It was all clean and comfortable and well equipped, though we couldn't wash our dishes as there was no detergent provided. There were no wine glasses in the room but Reception were happy to give us a couple, and an all important cork screw! We had lunch at the beach bar and dinner at the onsite restaurant, both of which were very nice - limited menus, but the food was good. WiFi worked well outside but not so good in the rooms. Aircon worked well with one unit in the bedroom and another in the kitchenette. The location is outside the township of Mattinata on the beachfront road. Most other resorts were already closed (mid-September) so there weren't many places to eat within walking distance. As others have said it is a good base from which to see the Gargano NP and the Forest Umbria and the coastal towns of Vieste and Peschici - but be prepared for a lot of hills and hairpin bends!
• 839aigarsm (4/5): Good place to discover th north Puglia region - NEGATIVE 1. Only 1-2 employees in the hotel have a good English, so communication was practically impossible 2. Bungalow-type rooms are narrow, with 2 children, they were definitely too narrow for us (even in case of 2 bedrooms) 3. Conditioner was just in the living room (closing the door to the bedrooms, became stifling), also the kitchen stove ventilation was poor 5. Almost every night there was no water (the inner telephone was absent, with reception we had to communicate through the cellular, but night Concierge did not understand English at all) 6. The pool was small, sometimes busy. The life guard allowed diving, also for young male adults in this pool 7. The animation staff was not even aware of us (more likely due to disability to speak English) 8. Offer of extras published in internet only partially corresponded to the reality (we chosed B&B package with booking at the beach) POSITIVE Location (both in hotel locations and region as such)
• bombora18 (10/5): Amazing place for family holiday - Comfortable and clean cabins tucked amongst an old olive grove. Amazon pool. Very short walk to the beach - where you get a reserved sun lounger. Great food in the on-site restaurant or lunch at the beach car. Very helpful and friendly staff.
• ChristophZ190 (10/5): Lido San Matteo - perfect beach! - We didn't stay in the villagio but we were at the Lido everyday during our stay in Mattinata in September. The service was perfect! We had lunch there everyday, which tasted really fresh and good. The beach was clean and the service was great, we got beds and umbrellas prepared as soon as we entered the beach. Franco and Marco were kind and also set with us for some drinks and gave us tips what to see in Mattinata. Really great! Thank you!
• SybSuus (10/5): Beautiful place and very friendly staff. - We really loved it here. Very friendly staff, always willing to help you. The bungalow was very nice and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the olive oil made from the trees on the area. It's a nice, green and quiet place, close to the beach and some walking/trekking routes. Although we visited during low season, the swimming pool was filled with water for us. One of the many nice gestures of the staff.

Many small activities (mainly for Italian speaking tourists) The apartments are slightly small, but well organised. and above all VERY good location. Mattinata is only 3 minutes away. Over all, a very good experience.
• mariekeh561 (10/5): Lovely stay - We (family with 2 kids age 4 and 7) stayed one week in the comfortable bungalows. Well equiped with good beds and airco. Upon arrival we were welcomed really friendly and throughout our stay received great tips which brought us to really nice beaches and great restaurants. A true bonus that within 5 min walk there is Lido St Mateo with reserved beds and umbrella for residents. The small park is kept very clean, including the pool area. Kids were shocked having to wear a swimminghat but is probably helps to keep it all clean. There is an animation team but really optional. St Mateo is a great base for exploring Gargano and enjoying the Italian beach life.
• LaurelW257 (10/5): Excellent staff and quaint surroundings - We had an excellent stay here. The staff were very kind and offered to drive us to and from our bus stops. The facilities offer campsites, apartments, and single rooms, all in the middle of the family-owned olive groves. Just a short walk through the cute olive groves and you arrive at the outstanding beach, complete with umbrellas, chairs, and a bar/restaurant. Very relaxing and well worth the money to get away with the family or some friends!
