Guest Reviews
- Greg (8/5): I’ll be back next job. - Good value. Clean/ nice room and lobby area. Pet friendly.
- Randolph (4/5): - The breakfast was terribly disappointing. 11 - 7 Man bun guy who put out the breakfast items needs a write up. We went down @ 6:30. Orange juice was empty. Cranberry juice was empty. Froot loops cereal was empty. No tea bags for hot tea. When there is a grocery store right in town being out of tea bags is ridiculous. Didn't even look at the bread. No danish. No muffins. No yogurt. Didn't expect bacon & eggs, but for a continental with waffles this was pretty slim. 7-3 front desk attendant did fill the juice after I asked.
- Thomas (1/5): Room had bed bugs. - Location. Room had bedbugs.
- Janet (5/5): - Never knew there was any breakfast until I was leaving and saw the area No vending machine
- Jonathon (8/5): -

- Nathan (3/5): No Quality Inns in our future, certainly not at this location. - Not much I'm afraid.. Room was ok except for the bug crawling out of the toilet. First there was a screw up with Booking, com according to the clerk and we had no room according to the clerk. That would have been icing on the cake if there were no rooms left. There was no one at the counter to check out for extended periods. Folks were just leaving. Except for the waffles ( the syrup was empty ) breakfast items were completely out. No eggs, sausages, or toast. No toast? That's hard to believe. The orange flavored water that was supposed to be orange juice was terrible.. My wife's' cranberry at least had a little flavor to it. Had the items been there that were supposed to be and it might have at least been passable. Construction guys that were there for several days said it was normal not to have it or run out and not refill. We were supposed to have 2 queen beds and ended up with one Queen that was ok and one low double bed designed for a midget perhaps. Never saw one so close to the floor. Did I mention THERE WERE NO SMOKE ALARMS AND WIRES DANGLING FROM THE LOCATION WHERE THE DETECTOR WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN OUR ROOM ? And I HAVE the photos .. If management wants the pics, simply get in touch with me.. Still debating reporting that to the proper authorities along with the pics. A 3 was well deserved. Sorry...
- Rick (10/5): -
- Robin (4/5): I couldn’t sleep. - It had openings The bed was like cinderblocks in room 101
- Robin (9/5): It was as expected. - Convenient for what I needed it for Ran out of coffee in machine down stairs this morning
- Colin (8/5): - Didn't use the gym. Breakfast was good.
Overall a good stay. Would go back again.
- Ted (8/5): oh well - not much as far as food items, nothing but bad waffles and cereal, at 8 am. No one at the desk when we wanted to check out, the elevator sounds like an old wringer washer, weren't sure if was working properly. no wash clothes the second day and no new towels the last evening we were there.
- Brittany (1/5): - A roof over my sons head for work The hotel is so dirty and not like just dated. The AC unit had dead bugs visible and mold on the vents in the room
- Lesley (10/5): - Close to downtown
- Gennady (4/5): - There were cockroaches in the room.
- Tammy (2/5): - Disgusting room
- Joshua (2/5): - There was food wrappers and reciepts inbetween the sheets upon arrival to our room we had 2 very thin sheets to keep us warm the pillows were stained along with the pillow cases the bathroom shower towels were already used and dirty and the tub/shower had a film layer from someone using it and it not being cleaned
- Cary (8/5): - When we got in the room the fridge was turned off and took all night to get cold, mold on bathroom ceiling and TV was unplugged and took a bit to get it plugged in and figured out. In the morning, the staff put out frozen sausages and when I questioned why they were frozen, they told me that the manager told them to put them out like that.
- Louis (6/5): - The property was fine.
- karl (6/5): - I got what I expected. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- MARK (10/5): - Appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff
- Nathan (10/5): - .
- Helen M (2/5): It sucked!! - I will never stay there again. We are glad that we brought our own amenities because there was no bar soap, no soap, no shampoo in the shower and there were no washcloths. It was late when we got in. The room had no fire alarms connected or working, there are no locks on the exit doors of the building where anyone can walk in.. so the security of staying there was awful. I was appalled by an envelope asking for a tip.. well who ever did room 321 on 9/13.. you don’t deserve one. We paid $80 for a room with nothing!!!!
- Melissa (2/5): - Dirty! Bugs, cobwebs, toilet stained, moldy towels, non
wash clothes or soap in the bathroom. Planned on staying 2 nights but checked out after one night! Filthy! Tell me how ro request a refund!
- Sherri (5/5): Just ok - Was ok Could be cleaner
- George (4/5): - Not the cleanest. The first room they sent us to was already occupied.
Two bath towels in the room. No washcloths, hand towels, soap or tissues.
Only there for a quick overnight but would go elsewhere next time.
- Dana (6/5): - The breakfast was limited, and there were a few items missing: bread, coffee cups, etc., but the guy attending the front lobby didn't seem to care.
- Abhay (3/5): Glad it was over. There are other choices. - They were nice enough to let us park our motorcycles under the awning. We made sure we did not block the entrance and that other customers and emergency vehicles had plenty of room. No soap in the room. No tissues in the tissue box. The young man at the desk didn't apologize, just looked at me and told me that the stuff was back ordered. The way he looked was supposed to make me feel guilty for letting him know.
- Fred (7/5): - Sehr geringhörig
- Dustin (4/5): -
- James (2/5): - Discovered black mold in the shower.
- Karen (6/5): Room stay - Room no fully equipped, not enough towels, had to ask for them. Pillows could be better. As always, breakfast could be longer and more of a selection. Understand that there is short staff everywhere but above items could be improved. Rooms were clean considering condition of hotel and available staff. Generally some people just don’t want to work. Our stay was okay.
- Roy (4/5): - Was given a room that was not even cleaned yet .. he did give us a different room though … was out of sugar packets, was out of Kleenex , was out of coffee cups … $ 162.00 I will neverrrr stay here again
- Doug (3/5): -
- Debra (5/5): -
- Garth (8/5): - The price is reasonable and we got what we paid for
- Hovig John (4/5): - Bathroom was full of mold, bathtub was disgustingly dirty. Broken tiles on the bathroom floor. Whole floor smelled bad.
- Leon (6/5): - Well i check in for somereason they had a ha4d time doing so an checking out was a wait
- Robert (7/5): -
- Richard (4/5): - Checked in at 7:00 pm. Was given a dirty room. Beds were not made and housekeeping never cleaned it.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room and bedding was clean. Breakfast consisted of waffles, 2 cereals and a couple of oatmeal. Very disappointing. No pool or gym. Front desk disappeared for a while. We only stayed for one night. Would stay one night again but probably not more than that.
- Bruce (8/5): Nice Hotel - Room was clean and comfortable, staff friendly, nice breakfast in morning. My only issue is that the shower/tub water empties very slowly out of the tub, 2 rooms same issue in both.
- Maxine (6/5): - No wash clothes or a working hair dryer.
Mattress was worn
- Karen (6/5): - Warren is a lovely town, with tree lined streets and the Alleghany River running through it. Alas, the Quality Inn is nowhere near the town (although from an architectural point of view, this is just as well), rather it is at the edge of an industrial estate. We hoped its proximity to a park would compensate, but there’s a highway running across what might have been an access point. Well, never mind, we’re just here to sleep. But oh how tired this place is. Everything is a bit scruffy, in need of TLC and a good wipe. The staff are friendly enough, but not terribly concerned by reports of any problems.
I know Quality Inn/Choice Hotels are franchised, and firmly in the ‘value’ category of hotels, but we’ve stayed in bargain motels that are bright and cheery, and this overnight was just depressing.
- MARK (10/5): - Room and public areas were clean. Staff was courteous. Good value for the money
- Brad (4/5): - Tv didn’t work and toilet broke in middle of night and flooded half the room.
- Cynthia L (4/5): Disappointed - The refrigerator was not connected in the room we went into. The front desk man was very nice and got our lamp and refrigerator working but in the morning my frozen waters that I kept in a bag to keep my medicine cold was all melted. The refrigerator ran, but wasn’t cold. The water went down very slowly in the tub, which was half clean.
The breakfast was scarce and after my husband use a small amount of shampoo, the dispenser was empty. Thank goodness, I had taken some shampoo with me.
- Kathleen (4/5): - This was not a good place to stay. The elevator shook and the lights blinked. The shower/ tub was dirty. The breakfast was dismal and they ran out of fruit. Very rundown. I would not recommend this property
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good stay - Breakfast was pretty sorry.
- JEREMY (1/5): Stay elsewhere - . Late night check in with reservation not possible . I went to a different hotel.
- Bauer (2/5): Probably won't stay there again. - Not much poor breakfast selection, no soap in bathroom, no tissues.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Shockingly awful customer service - Long story short, the manager smiled in my face while telling me that he absolutely would not refund me anything for a room that was no longer needed. This was despite a phone conversation four days prior. He said it was an issue with hotels.com. I talked with hotels.com, and they were willing to make the adjustment. He was not.
Additionally, neither of the key operated locks on the exterior of the building used to access the second and third floors work. Literally anybody can access the interior of the building, any floor, at any time. Clearly management prioritizes saving money at every turn, even when it compromises customer service and safety.
- Les (4/5): - It was an economical stay. But not worth it. Literally no soap in the room. Volume on remote did not work. Tub did not drain. And shampoo was out. But there was clearly an envelope for cleaning staff. Breakfast wA less than average. Truly the Belgian waffle was the only option. Cups super small. Would definitely not recommend this location.
- Burnham (10/5): - I skipped the breakfast
- kim (1/5): -
- Sonya (2/5): - My room had black mold in the bathroom, a black substance on the bedspreads, and an unpleasant smell throughout the room.
- James (6/5): - TV was unplugged and I had to figure out what was wrong. Television had minimum volume and staff couldn’t help
- Brenda (2/5): So Bad. Don't Do It - Would never stay here again. Booked a double queen and got one double bed and was told there were no other rooms available. Shower rod coming out of wall, no soap, broken refrigerator and front desk was zero help. No outside doors locked, literally anyone could come in.
- David (1/5): - Nothing, except it did have truck parking. Dirty, smelled bad, oatmeal for breakfast but no spoons. The desk clerk did change the room, but it wasn't much better. Had to go get different remote for TV. Definitely not worth close to $90. Same as above.
- Anderson (6/5): Pleasant -
- John (4/5): - Staff was fine, although very busy. May have been understaffed.
Toilet seat, broken.
Few towels
One tiny bar of soap
Only one TV channel
Lights were dim
Window drapery torn (onlyin one place)
Refrigerator not functioning properly/not cold
Limited/no access to cell towers
Other than that – OK
Thanks for asking!
- Little (1/5): We walked in seen the bugs and dirt. Walked right back okay. - There was bug EVERYWHERE! It was disgusting and filthy!
- Dan (10/5): - Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable
- Jeffrey (7/5): Good - The breakfast consisted of waffles you make yourself and some dry cereal. We passed on the free breakfast.
- Bonnie (4/5): - I was very disappointed with this hotel. It was very dirty in the stairwells and the rooms smelled. The so-called "continental breakfast" was a joke; the worst I've ever seen! I definitely will never be staying here again! Their "gym" had three pieces of old equipment in an old room with no air conditioning... really?
- Melissa (2/5): - This building needs updated and get the Orkin Man!!!!!
- peter (2/5): - In the morning, the breakfast area was very messy. There was no coffee, the food was not replenished. There was no staff on duty. We had to go out for breakfast. Even by the time we wanted to check out, there was still no staff on duty.
- Scott (4/5): Didn't meet expectations - When we arrived after 3PM, our rooms were not available. We had to wait in the lobby until the rooms were ready. We were given a motel-style room that opened up directly onto the parking lot. In the evening, there were people tailgating in the parking lot playing loud music. We complained to the management, and they took care of it. There was mold in the bathroom. We planned for a two-night stay but only stayed for one. Currently, we have received two charges totaling $522 for the one-night stay. I called to request a receipt, and I was told to go through the website we booked through. So far, no accurate receipt for our stay.
- Carla (3/5): No excuse for the poor service - Very poor No one available to help at front desk, posted signs, not helpful
- Maria (5/5): Passable -
- Carnahan (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst hotel experience ever. - In 60 years of extensive travel around the world this was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The room was filthy and my wife and I woke earlier in the morning with bugs crawling all over us and the room! I barely slept during the night because a party (6-8 people) was going on a short distance outside my room, and they had an open fire burning only a few feet from my car, and other vehicles. When I looked out my window to see what the commotion was I saw that my room’s glass window had been seriously broken, and looked like someone had thrown an object at it sometime earlier. I considered calling the police, but wasn’t sure it would be safe to do so (some of the party people powered to be staying at the hotel). The hotel overall was very dirty and not well kept.
- Glen (2/5): Not here - Don't stay here
- Kelly (6/5): - The bathroom was very dirty and not up to date. There didn't seem to be any cleanliness concerns.
- Frank (2/5): - Gross
- Elizabeth (6/5): - Room was very clean and comfortable. A hot breakfast was advertised on web site and posted in the lobby. When we cane down this morning, the only thing hot was the coffee. Only 2 cold cereals and make-your-own raffle was available….no hot breakfast, no bread, no bagels, no yogurt or fruit. When I asked about it at the desk, the young lady just shrugged her shoulders….no response was given.
- Mark A (4/5): - Noisy room/floor. Poor a/c, no breakfast as advertised 8:45am - request refund
- Ken (10/5): - Room was clean and service was great
- Mary (2/5): Would not recommend - Location Cleanliness, leak in bathroom ceiling
- Brianna (2/5): - The service was terrible. They were not kind not nice.
- Edye (10/5): - My stay was overall great! I will continue to use Quality Inn for my stays.
- V6167OIvitoc (2/5): Skip this hotel - The room was a huge disappointment. The television didn’t work, the desk clerk told me to unplug it and then plug it back in. It came on but no sound. The A/C couldn’t be adjusted up or down. Their was very hot water and that is the only positive I can say about the stay.
- Debbie (2/5): Filthy place - Should we start witj the black mold all over the bathroom walls and tub? The place was nasty.
- Gwen (4/5): - Property needs renovated. Shower curtain rods was rusty and falling out of thd wall. Furnture is old.
Breakfast was dismal.
- Guy (1/5): Bad - Bathroom was flooded. Felt unsafe with parking lot situation. Didn't even stay my visit because of how bad. Huge waste of money The entire experience.
- Tim (3/5): I should have spent $40 more and stayed down the street - The bathroom was nasty, hair and boogers all over the shower walls
- Chaylin (2/5): - Dont do it
- Steve (6/5): - Road construction blocked entrance. Literally had to go off-road to get there.
- steven (8/5): - Staff very friendly and accomodating. Very close to the airport, walking distance if it weren't too dangerous with the traffic. did not like the fact they had no office area for customers to print out their own flight tickets, I realize most people have their tickets on the phone anymore but for those of us who like a paper ticket it was inconvenient.
Minor however and the stay was very nice. Decent but typical breakfast at major hotels. Very clean and quiet. If I thought all Quality Inns and Suites were like the one in Buffalo, it would be my go to travel hotel
- kolleen (2/5): - We were given a room that was dirty. Sheets had stains. Went to the front desk note on the desk was be back soon. Went out a got my own sheets and blankets plus cleaning supplies. When we were ready to go to bed around midnight my husband and i both have sleep machines. The electric wasn't working. Went to the front desk and he stated to us not really sure why you were given that room we have had electric problems for a while. Gave us a new room. That i had to clean again and put out sheets on the bed. Never saw any go to the old room except the cleaners and they re rented the room with the electrical problems.
- Jonathan (2/5): - Improvements are necessary for me to even consider staying at this property in the future. I have visited the area and routinely trust this property and have had great a wonderful experience on all occasions. This trip, i arrived late and woke up early in the morning only to relize i couldn't flush my toilet (no handle). When brought to the attention of the staff, the problem was never resolved so I requested another room, and the worker was insinuating i broke it, "because he cleaned the room days ago and it was fine."
After being assigned another room, the refrigerator was inoperable, the toilet was heavily solied, and the tub/shower was dirty and drained slow. I also requested facial tissues of which i never received.
One misleading factor is a "hot breakfast." This consists of a waffle, and you are lucky if the drink machine is even turned on, and the milk is not spoiled.
- Steve (9/5): Family - Location Needs work on breakfast set up
- Irmgard (2/5): Do not stay here - This hotel was one of the worst I have stayed in. This hotel should be looked at by health and safety. It is that bad. First room we were given the beds were unmade and there was a pizza box on the table. We asked for a new room. In this room the ceiling in the bathroom and the tub were covered in mold. The beds are not comfortable, you can feel the springs through them. The breakfast is a lame attempt. The coffee is from a machine and is watered down, as is the juice. The whole place smells of weed 24-7. There was no housekeeping to be seen. The outside doors are broken and unsecure. Just a really horrible place to stay. Go anywhere else. It is not worth the cheap rate.
- Steve (9/5): Superb -
- Y732JYchristyd (2/5): Unclean - You'd be better off at the hotel across the street that is actively under renovations.
The first room we were given the toilet was broken so it could not flush. The next room we were given was not the queen we booked, instead it was two full beds. This is not a huge deal, but there was no acknowledgement of this when our new room keys were given which would have been nice.
The hallways all absolutely reek. Thankfully the rooms do not smell too bad. However, the rooms are extremely dusty and stuffy and if you have allergies, you will be sneezing and coughing constantly. The floors were very dirty and the windows were filthy.
The sink and toilet in the bathroom were weirdly low, but there was no grab bar and the door was narrow so it was not an accessibility feature. The toilet paper was also very thin.
The "breakfast" is a joke with two cereals and a waffle maker being all there is. And we didn't try to make waffles so who even knows if that works. They clearly know this is a joke, because all of the chairs were up on the tables in the lobby.
For being practically empty it was the loudest hotel with a bunch of random noises and creaks.
The elevator safety certification was also out of date.
- Steve (8/5): - Great balance in cost and comfort
- Ob1jeeper (2/5): While we travel here 2-3 times/yr to visit family, We Will NOT be back to this hotel... - General maintenance, and room maintenance is unacceptably poor.
-Bath sink leaks
-Room door loose on hinges jamming against the door frame, making it VERY difficult to open or close.
-While the staff assured me that Wi/Fi is on and functional, it is NOT.
-Hotel breakfast is severely lacking in variety
-Ice accumulation on the driveway, leading to within 10-12 ft from the front door, was dangerous to walk to your parked car. For the 5 nights we were there, there was NEVER any attempt made to clear it.
We stayed through Super Bowl Sunday night, and while the TV guide indicated the Super Bowl was visible to watch, NONE of the 4 channels it was supposed to be viewable on, were functional.
I spent the afternoon and early evening Super Bowl Sunday, in the local ER for emergency care. Upon returning to the hotel ~ 7:30 pm, I inquired if their checkout time could be flexible enough to allow us to check out an hour or two after the posted 11 am checkout, to allow us time to get to the pharmacy for my prescription before checking out. I was informed that any time after 11 am, would result in an additional day of costs being added to the bill. I find this appalling from a nearly 125(+) room hotel, with less than 8-10 rooms rented for the duration of our 5-night stay...
- Dorris (8/5): Very good - Beds were small and uncomfortable
