- John (10/5): Pleasant property run by lovely people, an enjoyable and relaxing stay. - Breakfast exceptional.
- John (9/5): One of the best B&Bs we have stayed at - John and Martine were excellent hosts. They were friendly and helpful and every morning, we were served a superb breakfast Can't think of anything
- Rosalind (10/5): Perfect for a weekend break with lovely hosts & awesome breakfast. - Location was great. Hosts John & Martine were very hospitable. Lovely breakfast. Limited parking however parking available on the road nearby.
- elizabeth (9/5): Love it here. - Second time stayed with John and Martine. They are the perfect hosts and I will stay with them again. The mattress on my bed has a dip in it. Not good for my bad back.
Just a tip....a long vertical mirror in the room would be useful.
- Michael (9/5): A really lovely, clean and friendly family-run B&B! - As usual, the rooms were clean and cosy and it looked like the place had been refreshed during the 'off' season. Breakfasts, as usual, were superb, even down to supplying a breakfast bap when I had to leave early. Excellent hosts, friendly and accommodating. Parking is an issue here, they have very limited space out front but spaces are available in the road opposite (make sure you have a VERY good handbrake!) or a large carpark nearby. We had a small problem with booking in as our pass code email arrived after we'd set off - soon sorted out though.
- charlotte (10/5): Very cosy place perfect for transport and the beach with charming hosts - The hosts were really warm and welcoming and I loved the organisation of the breakfast ordering. The location was great for the beach being a short walk away. We traveled via train and bus so having the bus stop right outside the property was such a bonus. The room was just right. Nothing
- Marie (9/5): Fabulous stay in Swanage - Very friendly hosts. Excellent location. Breakfast Excellent. Comfortable beds The shower room was a little cramped but very clean
- Philip (10/5): Two nights with sea view very pleasant relaxed stay - Very relaxed stay and comfortable room Nothing

- Richard (9/5): Clean, friendly, good location, great breakfast and we would stay again. - Very organised instructions and early check in appreciated. Small but very clean room and we did book late. Good location and local parking available if no spaces on site. Super friendly and helpful hosts. Excellent breakfast and lounger available if you want space outside your room. Would definitely go back but pick a room with a double bed. These are small things. The blinds let in a lot of light so we woke up 6am with the sun. The bathroom door did not really close well so ok if you are a couple who know each other well but for friends sharing you could hear everything :-) Over all super good so well done to the hosts.
- Pat (10/5): - Friendly owners, comfy room. Lovely breakfast.
- Cristina (9/5): Perfect weekend - Perfect place for a couple of days' stay. The hosts are absolutely brilliant, they make you feel like you're amongst friends and they're so accommodating. Incredible breakfast. Perfect location. Can't wait to go back.

The property was easy to get to not to many stairs to climb which was good for us both. Nothing all good.
- fiona (10/5): We will definitely try to return as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! - Everything! The breakfast was delicious and Martine and John were both very friendly and helpful. The 20 minute walk into swanage was very pleasant. The busses ran a bit late !

- Neil (8/5): Great location, would stay again - Location, Owners and packed lunch Nothing
- Mary (9/5): A very relaxing and enjoyable 3 nights away. - Breakfast was delicious. Location was great. 2 minute walk to quieter end of beach, which was ideal for us. - Jane (9/5): Will come again - Location
Lovely hosts -
- Angie (9/5): Very relaxing - Breakfast,location & Staff Parking
- Janet (9/5): see what did you Like. - The hosts (John and Martine) were excellent, breakfast, fruit juice, cereals, toast and the full English could not have been better. The room we had was a little on the small size but very clean. Locaion was a 10 minute walk to the town centre along the seafront. As stated above our room was a little on the small side but apart from that a very pleasant stay.
- Paul (8/5): - Area Room needs updating
- Laura (10/5): Lovely stay that exceeded our expectations - We were able to self check in which was really convenient and the location was really good. The room was clean and cosy and the shower was hot - perfect for our winter stay. John and Martine are wonderful, thoughtful hosts with great energy, sense of humour and they also cook a lovely breakfast.
- Andrea (10/5): Perfect! Thank you!! - We had such a wonderful time and felt so warmly welcomed and well taken care off; we definitely plan to come back again! The breakfast was lovely and the room super cozy; we all slept very well! The location is just perfect! We loved being at the beach within minutes and enjoyed our early morning walk there!! So many happy memories!! Nothing
- Rob (9/5): We are no strangers to Swanage and the Sandhaven and , as always , we enjoyed the break. - We have stayed a number of times at the Sandhaven. Martine and John have been our hosts on each visit. They are very warm and welcoming people people with a good sense of humor. The accommodation is great and close to the beach and Swanage town center. The breakfasts are excellent. There are a few parking bays on premise and if full there is parking usually available in the locality in nearby residential areas. Nothing comes to mind.
- Philippa (8/5): - The owners were lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was very good. It was very clean. We were there in December and as it's an old building so the radiator struggled to keep the room warm. In summer it would have been fine.
- Jasmine (10/5): John and Martine were so nice and the place was perfect for us! Martine’s kindness and hospitality absolutely made our t -
- Sheila (5/5): A nice little break after our personally bad summer. - The weather was not very good but we did go in winter The weather
- Martin (10/5): One of the best we have stayed at - MARTINE AND JOHN WERE EXCELLENT WE HAD MANY FRIENDLY CHATS IN FACT WE STAYED AN EXTRA TWO NIGHT'S Nothing
- Sven (9/5): Short and cosy, welcome stay. - Our stay was quite short but Martine and John were incredible hosts, made us feel very welcome and right at home. Our room was spacious and really cosy. The bathroom was small, but plenty for a short stay. The beach is a two minute walk down the street and, even in November, great for a walk and enjoying the sounds of the ocean. I'm tall so I didn't enjoy banging my head on the bathroom door frame, but that's more of a user error than our lovely host's fault.
- Rhonda (10/5): Very clean, comfy bed, central, lovely owners. - Brilliant Location, great breakfast and friendly owners.
- Julia (10/5): Perfect! :) - John and Martine are lovely, friendly, and so helpful. Cosy B&B by the sea and a fabulous breakfast. We loved it and will be back for sure! Nothing
- Elayne (9/5): Lovely stay in a lovely town - Martine and John are great hosts. They were interesting to talk to, they were friendly and welcoming and did everything they could to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. I'd stay again if I ever visit Swanage in the future. Thanks again! The parking at the property is very tight - I was lucky there weren't many other guests during my stay so I wasn't affected too much, but the smaller the car the better here. However, there are a few residential spots where you can park that are a short walk away.
- Lewis (8/5): -
- Rhiannon (10/5): Dreamy stay in a dreamy location - The hotel was amazingly located: a short walk from the beach (we could see it from our bedroom) and a very short drive to Studland and surrounding countryside. John and Martine brought such warmth to the whole experience, we couldn’t have asked for lovelier hosts. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options, and our room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
- Sarah (9/5): Such friendly couple and wonderful breakfast - Meticulously clean and comfortable Nothing
- Martin (9/5): -
- Diane (9/5): -

- World Greatest Travel. (10/5): - Staff were lovely.
Room was clean..
Had a lovely time. N/A
- Michele (10/5): Lovely stay, would recommend. X - Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We were warmly welcomed and looked after really well. Tasty and generous breakfast. Even managed to park the car at the front (although this isn’t guaranteed). Nothing.
- Pauline (10/5): Much needed break in a beautiful location in a comfortable and friendly B&B - Everything. The owners were friendly but professional. We had chosen the smallest, cheapest room, but it was perfect for our short break. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. If we had mobility issues, then being at the top of the house with a few flights of stairs would have been an issue, but it was fine for our purpose. The breakfast was well organised in that you chose what you wanted the night before, plus the time. There was plenty of choice and the food was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. They also offered packed lunches for a very reasonable price. Nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely go back and would certainly recommend it to anyone else. I liked everything! (quite unusual for me if I'm honest).
- Susan (9/5): - Location very good, close to the sea and amenities
Breakfast was perfect Nothing, all good
- Frances (9/5): - The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The cooked breakfasts were excellent and served very efficiently always with a cheery smile and friendly banter. There was nothing to dislike
- Dave (10/5): - Superb breakfast and friendly couple, can't fault it nice location and a pub on the doorstep I can't think of anything
- ken (8/5): Absolutely brilliant hosts breakfast very good but bedroom very small for two people - Location Room size bathroom door
- Bernadette (9/5): Overall a great stay, room could do with a few tweeks - Location was perfect, breakfast was really good, John and Martine where excellent hosts. Room was small, beds creaked when you moved, rusty plug hole in sink, cracked tile in bathroom.
- O'Shea (9/5): - Made to feel very welcome by the hosts
- Holmes (10/5): Would stay there again - Breakfast vdry good, great idea to have 2 sittinngs, plus breakfast ready when you got in dining room no waiting All was very good , no complaints
- ELENA (10/5): The hotel is good and its owners are wonderful. - We were greeted very warmly at the hotel. The hotel is located next to the beach.
Not only the room very clean, but also the lounge and the corridors. The breakfast is delicious. The hostesses will help you solve any problem. We liked everything about this hotel.
- Nicholaw (9/5): - Close to the beach, friendly staff, good breakfast offered
- Annelies (10/5): Great place to stay to visit part of Jurassic Coast, Studland, Corfe Castle, Arne - Very welcoming and friendly place to stay, excellent breakfast options and close to Swanage beach and restaurants. Studland, Corfe Castle and Arne are not far away as well as are parts of the fantastic Jurassic Coast. Some locations are accessible by Breezer 50 bus between Bournemouth and Swanage, for locations further away a car is useful. We can highly recommend a stay.
- Amie (10/5): Peaceful, relaxing will definitely be back - The location was amazing, super easy to get in and out. Martine and John amazing hosts, added a photo of how close the property is to the beach Nothing
- Phillip (8/5): Brilliant - Great location, very helpful and friendly owners Sorry to say but the two single beds the springs had gone in the mattress, which was a shame because it was an excellent place, only mentioning it the owners might not know.
- Renay (8/5): Relaxing stay - Hosts, location and breakfast We had a front room and Road is noisy would recommend a back room as everything else was brilliant
- Lee (7/5): -
- Keith (9/5): -
- viorica (7/5): - Great location! The mattress was super uncomfortable.
- robrobertson1 (9/5): Good value & well run - Good location on the nicer end of Swanage and close to the Coastal Path towards Studland Bay.
Well run B&B - great value for money. Rooms are basic but comfortable
- Tony (10/5): - I can't rate this place highly enough. Comfortable, peaceful, perfect location, the English breakfast was fantastic. Their packed lunch option for a fiver was extremely handy aswell! 3 minutes walk and you're on the beach with so much to do amd see in the local area, but John and Martine were the real stars of the show, friendly, welcoming, funny, and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible! Will be back very soon!
- Stephen Hutchings (10/5): Swanage's warmest welcome. - Perfect location as it is just a 5 minute stroll to the beach. John and Martine are the ideal hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. The breakfasts are excellent, both in choice and taste. We only had time for a 3-night stay, but wished we could have stayed longer. Nothing... even the weather was good! :)
