Guest Reviews
- Lyons (10/5): - Roomy. Plenty of flat surfaces for suitcases and hooks for hanging stuff. No exhaust fan in the shower.
- Shari (4/5): - It was sanitary Poorly maintained
- chrismK5474AZ (2/5): Pretty much disgusting ! 🤮 - Terrible experience very dirty. The bathroom was clean. None of the doors were secured on the building where lights should be on the exterior by the doorways. There’s just wires hanging down with masking tape covering the ends. I stayed there two nights and ended up moving to the My Place much better facility 10 times better and it was actually cheaper
- Sarah (1/5): Absolutely gross! - 100% GROSS!!!! Disgusting, dirty gross I’ve never felt so disgusting and gross after staying somewhere! Room smelled like urine and puke and poo0, hair in the sheets. Toilet was gross room was never cleaned! Garbage in the hallways. Everything! It would have been better sleeping outside it was that gross! Windows broke and door didn’t even close or lock!
- Angela (4/5): Not a good stay at all. - So our toilet seat was broken and there was mold in one shower. Then we got a complaint from the front desk worker that we were too loud at around 730 or 800 at night. Then he proceeded to cook food with his family staying in two rooms right next door to us until late hours of the night that put a smell into the hallway since they had their two doors open and were walking back and forth and loud. Awful stay
- David (10/5): -
- Jianfeng (9/5): - Location, just besides Walmart. Flies in the room.
Smells not pleasant.
- Dean (2/5): A place to sleep - It was a place to lay over n rest our heads. Rooms had broken things in them and cleanliness was less than mediocre!
- Mitch (8/5): Heading to Minnesota home after our vacation. - Location ? Nothing1
- Kitty (8/5): -
- Judy (9/5): Price is good! - Honest and friendly, I left personal property in room called day later and they saved it for me!
- Thompson (5/5): -
- SheriT529 (6/5): Could be cleaner but served its purpose for one night. There was what appeared to be dried blood on the floor. Wall dirt - The room felt dirty. There was a kitchenette but no utensils, pans, or dish ware to utilize the kitchen. It was odd. But okay
- Erickson (8/5): -
- helen (3/5): I wouldn't book it again. - The gardens out front are full of weeds. The front desk was unattended we waited ages to check in. The air con in the room was really noisy. The rooms have kitchenettes but they had no anything. No plates no cups not cutlery. So unless you brought kitchen stuff with you it was useless. And. We booked two rooms and one you had to slam the door to get it to close. It was a low price and you did get a big room. And it is close to a Walmart. So you get what you pay for.
- Edward (7/5): - It was close to the highway. Good room and staff.
- Tina (5/5): It was fair for the price - I liked the small kitchen area in the room. The bathroom was spacious. There was never a front desk person when needed. The mattresses on the bed were super uncomfortable. The building grounds were not cleaned and the side doors to get in the building are accessible for anyone to come in. Also, I had to pull the room door hard to get the latch to work.
- Marie (4/5): - exercise room all equipment broken again!!!!
- patsy (4/5): - the exercise room was not working at all. everything was broken. never wprking the three times I have been there
- Leslie (6/5): - Rooms had a kitchen area that came in handy.
- O5428DTdonnaw (8/5): Very pleasant and lots of places to eat within 2 miles. - Older motel, but clean and staff is super; our room had been newly remodeled, new tv too. Be aware they do not provide breakfast but it is on all of the online booking sites.
- Donald (10/5): - It was great. My room was really nice and spacious and had the full kitchen. Everything was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. If I’m ever in the area looking for a place to stay, I will be back.
- Julie (8/5): - It was quiet.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Unfriendly contact in reception area, Kitchenette offered no supplies to use, TV was not properly set up to work, no breakfast offered, coffee station all empty at 8am. Not worth the cost.
- Elizabeth (6/5): - Unfriendly contact in reception area, Kitchenette offered no supplies to use, TV was not properly set up to work, no breakfast offered, coffee station all empty at 8am. Not worth the cost.
- Clee Raye (10/5): - Great value.
- Tammy (4/5): was convenient but not comfortable - The front desk lady was amazing and super friendly The room was dirty. food on the wall the bathroom mirror had stuff splattered on it. the lights were burned out in the bathroom and also in the main part of the room. The tv had stuff all over it and had to be plugged in and unplugged to get it to come off and on. The table had a broken leg
the second room the mattress were to short for the bed frame so the springs were exposed.
- Amber (1/5): Broken locks and windows plus overpowering smells of drugs and cigarettes - The lady working the desk was VERY kind DO NOT STAY HERE- drugs, loud noises all throughout the night, broken locks, etc. This was not a traveler-friendly or family friendly hotel. It WREAKED of cigarettes and Weed. It seemed it was locals LIVING there rather than people passing through. The rooms were filthy but it wasn’t like a dirty bathroom/unclean sheets. It was stuff splattered over the walls and ceilings. Bandaids on the ceiling?! How! MANY broken things. The ground floor window was busted (the entire frame smashed), the smoke alarm ripped off wall, huge holes in walls. This was the worst hotel we have stayed in. We absolutely did not feel safe. I would have left except the kids were wiped out and we just needed a bed for the night. My husband and adult son stayed up to keep watch because the drug smell was so bad and our rooms didn’t lock plus the broken windows. Obviously I asked for another room with a non-broken window and working lock. The lady offered us another one but it was not cleaned and she said they had no other options. I am lost as to how this hotel is in business but even more lost as to how we paid $ to stay here. I will try hard to get a refund but this review needs to be written so no one else makes the mistake we made!
- Donald (10/5): A good stay - The room was clean, but we did have 1 bug on the wall. The television was not connected and we had problems getting the correct channels as the directory in the room was not helpful. Otherwise, the amenities were great and it was a quiet location and a good price.
- Sandra (8/5): - Nice
- Alex (2/5): - Gross and dated
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room I got was so smelly. I had to go to nearby Walmart to get a room freshener to make it livable before I could sleep. Never again to any Red Roof.
- Valiant (3/5): - Dirty. Air-conditioning in hallway was leaking onto the floor leaving a large puddle of water on the carpet.
- Christopher (2/5): - Grossest room I’ve ever stayed in. Apparent unrepaired water damage in multiple places in room, dried food on stove and under the bed.
- Tammatha (4/5): - I had a king suite with a kitchenette. There were no pans, dishes, utensils, nothing. There wasn't even a coffee maker or coffee amenities in the room. The hairdryer was broken. The toilet handle was broke and each time i used the facilities i had to reach in the back of the water reservoir to flush. There were no hangers to hang clothing in closet. Plug in tub was broken and the foundation under the tub made me feel like i was going to fall into the room below me.
- Karen (4/5): - Room with filyjy car and dog hair in beddig Nd floor
- Karen (4/5): - We arrived and our room needed vacuumed and counter cleaned off. Very unkept room. Whole building needs updated.
- Karen (10/5): - This room was terrible dog hair under the sheets when the covers were pulled back had to go get
- Michael (10/5): - Fairly convenient for us. Price was about right for what we got.
- TRACY (6/5): - Nothing really bad just wasn’t great. Beds were hard room was clean clerknthat checked us in was okay
- Mark (2/5): Mold - Checked in at hotel late, about 11pm. Went to sleep. Went to take shower in the moring at the shower curtain was completely coved with mold. Checked out of hotel asap. Informed the lady at tge front dwsk about the mold and she stated" yes we know about the mold. We have new curtains on order." I asked why would you rent a room that you know has mold? She did not have answer.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Reservations Issues, hotel is dirty - I reserved a "Suite, 2 Double Beds, Accessible, Non Smoking (Kitchen, Roll-In Shower)". Upon arrival was told that the rooms with a roll in shower were already taken. Received a accessible room with a tub and shower chair instead. If there were no rooms available with a roll in shower at the time I booked, I shouldn't have been available to book it or it shouldn't have been given away if I already had it reserved. Hotel was dirty, There was paint on the tv and dirty floor. The bed was bumpy and not comfortable.
- Kechthip (2/5): - Everything is dirty and sketchy
- Orth (10/5): - Hassle free check in with friendly staff. Not much
- Richard (4/5): - Run down and needs a renovation
- Wood (6/5): The room was nice but there should be coffee all morning Not gone at 7 am and no fresh made - It was close nice facility Window didn’t lock NO COFFEE NO ONE AT DESK TO ASK ABOUT COFFEE Chair torn looks like dog chewed it Took picture to prove not my service socket near microwave doesnt
- Linda (2/5): Don't stay - Kitchette and bathroom were clean. Bedspread had blood spot on it. Bed sagged so bad I had to put a pillow behind me to stay on my half the bed. Desk clerk didn't speak English.
- evelyn (8/5): - I asked for a queen size bed and got at the most a full size bed. Very disappointed in the size which made it uncomfortable to accommodate 2 people
- Susan (6/5): - outside was dirty, concrete broken , carpet to rooms all stained and ripped, stairwells dirty with garbage,no property maintained, doors, ceilings, walls evidence of roof leaks!! want refund!! Breakfast was all microwave foods NOT what was listed on expedia review
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good if you want to cook a lot yourself - The price is a little higher since It has stove, fridge, microwave. Based on my opinion, this is the place more suitable for those people working in the oil field nearby. For tourists, it may be better to seek other lower-price options.
- Jerold (8/5): - I've stayed at this hotel on trips the past 3 years. Nothing special, but a good experience each time. Very satisfied.
- Rhonda (4/5): - Our room smelled like wet dog. The floor was wet
- Steve (10/5): - Rooms were clean Parking we had to park on the street.
- Michael (8/5): - It was a nice stay, but they didn't replace our towels and make the bed like other similar hotels do. The price was quite nice and a budget friendly place.
- Monica (6/5): - Matteress were to low to the floor and soft. Not a good night sleep. Noisy hallways.
- UNIPanther22 (2/5): Avoid this hotel at all costs! - Avoid at all costs! Reserved for 8 people — two rooms for 4 people each. When we arrived, the female night manager gave us two rooms with 2 twin beds in them. All she wanted to do is argue and not accommodate us. Then she argued that there could only be two people in each of these rooms which wasn’t what we reserved and was impossible with our number of people. Forced us to pay for two more rooms. Every room had something majorly wrong — three with bed stains all over and the other smelled so bad from smoke that it was intolerable. She wouldn’t move us. Finally another guy gave us a room on the first floor after he came down and sprayed a fifth room for the cigarette smoke. He broke the window trying to air it out. So now we were expected to sleep in a room where the ground floor window wouldn’t latch and reeked of spray and cigarette smoke. The night manager wouldn’t do a thing to help. Even accused us of smoking when none of us do and two even have asthma (and we had literally just arrived).
We ended up leaving instead of staying there. This night manager is a piece of work and completely unreasonable. She has no idea what customer service is! Absolutely ridiculous. You couldn’t pay me to go there again. Our friend had it all on his credit card and absolutely deserves a refund!
- Karla (9/5): Superb -
- Becky (4/5): - The first floor smelt like smoke. Cleanliness could have been better
- Mary (8/5): - Great
- Jordan (3/5): Poor -
- Maggie (6/5): - It was run down and not super clean
- Pamela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Srijata (8/5): Very good - The helpful staff and the location.
- Clee Raye (4/5): - I left the room to pick up some things including a pillow from Walmart. When I got back my keycard did not work. I had to go to the desk for new key cards. All 3 pillows in the room were flat, like pancake flat. The bedding was on upside down so I had tags in my face.
- Courtney (8/5): - Skeptical at first because of previous reviews I read but it’s actually not as bad as the other reviews make it seem.
- Trang (9/5): Comfortable stay - Spacious room and comfortable beds
- Rohit (8/5): - It’s a good place
- Heidi (6/5): Not a pleasant stay - I had 2 bad experiences here. For the first one and on the first full day, I came back to the room to see that all of my groceries and pre- Dickinson food/ alcohol were gone. The manager said that last night's employee only had me in for 1 night. She made sure that I was in for the full 5 nights and reimbursed me for the thrown out food and alcohol. Two days later, I came back to my keys not working. The frony desk guy, from the first night, went up to my room, re-keyed the keys, and made sure that I was again in the system for 5 nights. I walked into the room and someone had been in there. They showered, used the bed, and the TV was still on. I got all new towels and bedding. I felt violated that someone had been in there. I would have given a worse rating, though the manager helped to solve the issues and she cares about the business. Despitw this, I would not stay here again.
- Clara (6/5): - .
- Jason (4/5): Disappointing - Bed was comfortable
- Kelly (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (4/5): - Manager was busy cleaning rooms so had to wait. He was sick/coughing. Very noisy tenants, pet hair still on furniture in room, floor didnt appear to be vacuumed after prior guests
- Foss (1/5): awful - price was not a usable kitchenette, no supplies. smelled awful, things broken in the room and you could hear everyone talking in the room beside you. If you want to rest, not your place.
- Foss (1/5): don't use bookings.com call directly to book! Customer support was werso rude and unprofessional - we canceled and moved to Microtel bookings.com was awful to .e o. the phone trying to get a refund after the manager was so nice and let us cancel the rest of our reservation
nag
- Felicia (8/5): - Very nice staff. Room was very clean.
- Jim (10/5): - friendly staff
- Rajesh (2/5): - Very dirty smely
- Stephen (7/5): Good stay - Easy on and off from the Interstate. We had a clean room. Very comfortable beds. No coffee maker in room, but is available in lobby. A bit dated lobby area with some clutter. Our room was fine.
- Weber (1/5): Bad - Prices seemed fair for the quality (poor quality, low price) We had a booking issue that they were unwilling to help with. The property looked to be in poor shape and we ended up staying staying somewhere else. They refused to give a refund.
- Molly (2/5): - This room and property were in disrepair, from the front door that was broken, to a side door that was unusable because it was broken, to a towel rack that had been pulled off the wall, two ceiling fixtures that had their covers ripped off invisible, dust, and wiring on the inside. TV was broken. There was food and trash under both beds, which we only discovered when our dog got underneath and started eating it. There was dirt on the bedspread, and there was no free breakfast as advertised. When I visited the front desk to complain about all this, no one was available– the desk simply had no one there. Very disappointing all around.
- Timothy (4/5): - Trash from previous guests was left under the sink and mold in the shower.
- Tiffaney (4/5): - Pillows were flat, wrong size toilet seat in the bathroom, complimentary coffee was full of grounds. The morning after check-in, Orkin was in the lobby.
- Gerard (10/5): - this was a stay overnight on our way back home. It did the job. It was clean, beds were comfortable, and the location was convenient. Nice experience.
- Gabriel (1/5): Bad - Nothing Everything especially the owner
- Austin L (2/5): - Was told if recieve a refund but didn't
- Bryan (8/5): Perfect for a quick one nighter - The location of the property was perfect for the places I had to go during my stay. The room was very large and the bed was super comfy. There was a kitchenette that would be nice if needed. There were competing dinner smells in the hallway which was fun Near the outside dumpster there were stacks of mattresses and
Other junk that was piled up.
- Nikk (4/5): - At around 3 in the morning Friday night/sat morning I had an employee enter our room unannounced which was very disturbing as they had no business in our room. Which is why we checked out early from our stay.
- Rebecca (4/5): - Hotel needs to be completely remodeled. Doors to outside and different floor don't have handles, rooms just have pieces of paper with numbers on them. Rooms need to be cleaned, walls are dirty, there were mold spots on the bottom of the shower curtains. Stains on the chairs in the room.
- Hanson (1/5): Bad - The location 1.There was a very strong foul smell. I had to go to Walmart and buy room deodorizers.
2. The desk clerk knocked on the door and got me out of bed and had me go down to the lobby because there was a problem with my credit card. He should have done it hours earlier, or waited until morning. I was so upset about it, I didn't sleep at all that night.
- Holly (2/5): - There is no other way to describe this hotel but gross. It is the worse hotel I have ever stayed in. The toilet seat was a different shape than the bowl and it did not stay up. The doorknob from the outside side entrance was totally missing so you put your hand in a hole to open the door. Anyone can just walk into the hotel. Room numbers were written on sticky notes and put on outside of room. Broken gym equipment. Ice machine broken. Shower moldy but hot and good water pressure. The bed was horrible. The mattress springs were broken. The room smelled like cat piss. Much paint chipped off the wall. The painters were so sloppy there was paint splattered all over the bathroom floor and even on the kitchen cabinets. If you decide to stay here, I warned you how disgusting this hotel is. For a dog friendly hotel, there was no place outside for a dog to do its business because the grass was so tall and no place to dispose of the poop bags. I wouldn’t dare walk barefoot on the carpet. Only coffee for breakfast. I could not get out of that dump quick enough.
- Jon (4/5): - Will never stay again!!
- Jerome (4/5): - In pretty bad shape - needs major overhaul and needs a lot of cleaning
- Alan (8/5): - Was good in a pinch, but the stove in our room didn’t work.
- Floyd (4/5): - The mattress was uncomfortable and the 2 cloth dining chairs had food imbedded in the seat fabric. No coffee in room or plastic cups for water
- Jash (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (1/5): Bad - The facility was a dump with litter in the hallway and a filthy elevator. When I entered the room the bedside lamp did not work and the TV did not work. Further, the AC was off, so the room was hot, and when I turned it on, it did not work. I eventually got everything working and then was treated to noise from an upstairs guest until 2am. May have been my worst hotel experience ever.
- Serguei (10/5): - Very good
- Ron (6/5): - The place is wore out! The tub was cracked and had a dip in it. I almost fall out of the shower. The bed was comfortable and the place was fairly quiet. It had a kitchen with nice fridge. It was what I expected for the price.
- Melsmith04 (10/5): Exceptional -
