Gregg (8/5): The perfect place to stay for a trip to Curaçao - We had a terrific stay at Bahia Apartments for Christmas 2025. The staff were friendly, the apartment spacious and the complex quiet - helping to ensure we slept well. The restaurant put on a christmas celebration with a special menu and live music, which we attended. The whole evening was incredible and it was really nice that they made a fuss of us because we were on our honeymoon. It’s a shame that you couldn’t opt in for a breakfast included option - the restaurant is in a picturesque location and we’d have happily paid more to have our breakfast there each morning. That said, the hotel offered an add on to purchase fresh bread that was delivered to your apartment each morning, which was lovely!

Cuenta con un restaurante con una vista bellísima donde se come rico y el personal es amable al igual que el personal de recepción. Hay un supermercado pequeño a 1 km aprox, es preciso contar con auto, el estacionamiento es dentro del hospedaje. Tiene acceso a la playa Lagun e incluye el uso de las reposeras. Te cambian regularmente las toallas y te dejan lo que te haga falta, las chicas siempre atentas. En el baño no hay donde colgar las toallas de mano ni los toallones. No incluye toallones para la playa

Pablo (7/5): Atento....... sobre valorado - La ubicación al pie de playa El cargo por limpieza es excesivo 65 dolares por darnos un juego de toallas cada 2 días es muchísimo... no hubo servicio de limpieza. Y que te cobren el aire en un clima de 38 grados es imposible no prenderlo si querés confort..... no es una carpa . Precio excesivo.
Leon (7/5): Verblijf was prettig prijs kwaliteit is goed en de ligging maakt enorm veel goed - de ligging aan het strand 30 meter lopen en je bent in de zee en kan daar perfect snorkelen en duiken. de manager pakt dingen goed op. Tijdens de blackout was er in het appartement stroom door de eigen stroom voorziening. Het eten was oke. Het personeel werkt echt op instructie niveau en kan niet erg out of the box denken. Daarvoor moet je echt bij de manager zijn. Die is alleen van 9:00 t/m 13:00 meeste dagen te bereiken. Kwaliteit va het eten is oke maar mag beter prijs kwaliteit verhouding. In het appartement had ik vaak last van veel kleine vliegjes.

O Apartamento tem uma vista maravilhosa e é equipado com tudo o que se precisa para a estadia, além de um cooler. Uma pequena manutenção nos trilhos da porta de vidro e da fiação seria interessante. Chuveiro muito bom mas o ralo tem uma drenagem devagar quando muito protetor solar. Minha vontade é de me aposentar e viver lá! Restaurante muito bom, facilidades para snorkel próximos. Muito melhor para quem quer curtir as praias verdadeiras de curacao, porém fica há 40 minutos de carro de Willemstad

Paolo (10/5): - Youri and staff at Bahia made our stay unforgettable. Local fishermen offer their fresh catch daily. We purchased a small tuna and it was exceptionally delicious. Our ocean view rental had amazing views. Beach access was super convenient. We visited 2 other beaches but Lagun beach on the property had the best snorkeling experience. Beach chairs were included. Cafe latte and smoothies at the Bahia restaurant were a great way to start each day. Would recommend mentioning a car to explore the other parts of the island.

Bowes (7/5): Perfect simple home-base in the much less populated western part of the island to explore and beach hop from. - This location is perfection. We had a gorgeous partial view of the beach and cove, the stairs were right there leading down to the beach. It wasn’t that I didn’t like some things, it was that this is not the modern, beachside villa of your dreams. There are no outlets anywhere near a mirror, the kitchen is tiny, but well stocked - we got the food package to be waiting upon our arrival - it was great! But…some deli ham and cheese, basic white rolls - very simple fare. Also really wish there was a screen at the back so we could have left the sliding doors facing the water open more.

The buffs by the water are beautiful! The apartments are in need of an update. I do wish the apartments were decorated for Christmas.

They set me up with groceries in the frig and helped me secure a vehicle so I could explore the beautiful beaches. Verified traveler (8/5): - My stay was ok, there was some construction going on on the beach during the night while we were there which was quite noisy and disruptive. It seems more like a locals beach. The beach bar restaurant next door was delicious, but the one on the property I did not like the food or service very much. Also there was a hidden fee, we had to pay $24 fee for using the air conditioner upon checkout after our 3 night stay, I don't believe this was information we were given before booking this property but were told upon check in it would cost about $2 USD per night, paying for use of air conditioning is not something I have ever encountered before. I also think there were not any other guests staying there during the 3 nights we were there which seemed a bit strange. Not a lot of amenities around the area. The fridge broke and leaked a puddle on the floor the first night so we unplugged it. The outlets also did not support our plugs and we asked for an adapter but it was the wrong one so could not charge our phones. We weren't aware of this before booking the room.

Robert (10/5): - We rented a two-bedroom apartment that was definitely spacious enough for two couples. Snorkeling in the lagoon right there was fantastic! Lots of reef fishes to see. The beach was a bit rocky to enter thanks to a recent storm washing up fragments of coral.

We could hear the sound of the waves for our room. 😊 It is a very well equiped apartment, perfect for some cooking. The staff was really nice and accomodating.The daily delivery of fresh breads/croissants in the morning is a very nice touch. It was a nice stay! It is a bit far from grocery stores.

If comparing to Cuba, 5* - location- beautiful bay close to diving centre above cliff nice staff, smiling - cleaness could improve- we had sand on feet, but maybe it´s not easy to get the sand out of apartment - they forgot about breakfast package fully - forgot about car rental - restaurant has nice staff, but service takes way too long and food is nothing special. Food at different restaurant nearby is much better quality

Not Provided (10/5): Wonderful - A wonderful place to stay...from the friendly and helpful check in, to the clean, spacious, well-equipped apartment with balcony overlooking the beach, and the position of Bahia right on the beach with good amenities, restaurant and good snorkelling. Aircon in the bedrooms was great, but a fan in the lounge area would have been helpful. Otherwise all fabulous.

The onsite dive shop was excellent with 24/7 accessible dive storage and rinse tanks. They delivered several rental trucks to us and picked them up. Easy logistics. We would stay here again.

Michelle (2/5): Bahia not reccommended - The location is beautiful and when I booked and payed for a better room, I was under the impression that I would be overlooking the beach. However what I ended up with was a view of the mountains and parking lot. In addition I needed to shorten my stay and when i tried to do that it would not let me change, Hotels could not get a hold of the management of Bahia over 3 months prior and I was told to talk to them when I got there. So I did and basically the Bahia mangement told me they didnt care in essence. I ended up having to pay for 2 extra days I was not there. SO lesson learned if you have a problem cancel and find another hotel to stay at. As far as the room, the A/C did not work in 1 of the 2 bedrooms and the bathroom smelled like sewage. I do not recommend this place based on customer service and the smell of the room. Better places elsewhere.

Ed (8/5): We had a very nice stay primarily due to the wonderful location of property. - Location. Not as clean as would have liked. One example, the outside patio was not swept during our 9 day stay.
Verified traveler (10/5): Grear location for snorkling - Brilliant location next to a stunning cove. Plenty of fish to see and even though i am a professional diver i was happy to snorkel for the stay as the amount of sea life near the surface was incredible
PENNEY JADE (10/5): - This place is a hidden gem. If you are looking for comfort and convenience, definitely check them out. Peter was an amazing host and made sure that our stay was smooth. He arranged our transport to and from the hotel as well as our car rental. The apartment was equipped with almost everything you need for your stay. The food and drinks from the restaurant were delish! Do yourself a favor and order their fries if anything. After a swim in the Lagun, their fries were just perfect. The place is also nicely located as it isn’t too far from Playa Kenepa and other beautiful beaches. I would definitely come back. You get a whole lot for your buck.

The service in the restaurant is very slow but I think this is a universal trend in Curacao. Warning there is jelly fish in the Lagun beach specially in the morning.

Paula&Joas (6/5): - Ik heb, denk ik, te hoge verwachtingen gehad van tevoren, want ik had erg naar dit verblijf uitgekeken en het was niet zoals ik had gehoopt. Geweldige lokatie, een van de mooiste plekjes op het eiland, prettig appartement, vriendelijke mensen, huur voor strandbedjes is inbegrepen. En toch wilde het niet lukken... De eerste nacht een strandfeest van locals tot diep in de nacht, Geen oog dichtgedaan. Na de 2e nacht wilden we vroeg vertrekken naar de Christoffelberg maar konden we met de auto het terrein niet af aan want het hek was dicht. En de derde nacht wakker gelegen van vechtende katten. Kleine miertjes in het appartement. Als je buiten het terrein wilt wandelen/lopen wordt je achterna gezeten door honden. En voor gebruik van de airco moet je iedere tik apart bijbetalen. De receptie is maar beperkt geopend en de strandbedjes zijn niet voor half 10 in de ochtend beschikbaar.
Pia (10/5): Täydellinen - Vietettiin 4 yötä Bahiassa ja paikka on täydellinen. Meillä oli alakerran huoneisto maantasalla ja vaikka patio oli suoraan ravintolaan päin, niin ei se häirinnyt yhtään. Huoneisto oli siisti ja kaikki tarvittava löytyi sieltä. Ravintolasta sai hyvää ruokaa ja henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Itse ranta on täydellinen sukeltajille sekä snorklaajille. Mieheni teki kaksi sukellusta ja oli todella tyytyväinen molempiin(päivä sekä yösukellus). Itse vuokrasin snorkkelin dive shopista ja kyllä snorklaamallakin näki yhtä ja toista. Bahian lähistöllä ei oikeastaan ole mitään, joten suosittelen vuokraamaan auton, että pääsee näkemään saarta ja käymään vaikka kaupassa, koska ruokakauppaa ei kävelyetäisyydeltä löydy. Omistaja oli todella ystävällinen ja auttavainen. Suosittelen suuresti paikkaa jos kaipaa rauhallisuutta ja hyviä sukelluskohteita.

Verified traveler (10/5): - Bahia is not a 5 star accommodation. It is simple, clean and small. They provided towels for both kitchen and bathroom, dish soap/hand soap and sponges along with basic kitchen items. I was disappointed two separate twin blankets on our pushed together twin beds, and an obnoxious rooster. That being said, Bahia ended up being my FAVORITE place we stayed the entire trip. The beach there was my favorite on the entire island. The snorkeling is great, it's a short walk away, there is always fresh coconuts and it isn't overly busy. It's easy to get shade and there is free chairs for apartment guests. The restaurant was fine, the pancake particularly good, and the cocktails were fab. We had an amazing view of the water and sat on our patio most days for several hours. Besides the rooster, the apartments are quiet and on clear nights there is a great view of the stars. Housekeeping was helpful. After settling in, the two blankets grew on me because the bedroom is small so the A/C is powerful - it was NICE to have two blankets! Peter was the most accommodating host. Our corkscrew broke and he quickly sourced out a new one for us. We had a mix up with out check out dates and he was able to accommodate us staying two extra days. Bahia was the best week of vacation, and my favorite place on the island out of all our weeks there. I would absolutely recommend staying there and I have been raving about it since. I would return to Curacao to come back to Bahia specifically. Thanks, Peter!

Au restaurant le service est un peu lent à l’occasion, mais ce sont les minutes carrabeïnnes. À améliorer je dirais d’ammenager tous les appartements d’un micro-ondes, d’une deuxième poële. Mais le reste est parfait. Restaurant succulent avec de bon drinks!! J’y retourne assurément!

Verified traveler (6/5): Lage unschlagbar, ansonsten max durchschnittlich - Die Unterkunft ist eher durchschnittlich, unser Studio war sehr einfach eingerichtet. Gefreut hatten wir uns vor allem auf den in der Buchung versprochenen Balkon / Patio mit Blick auf den Strand. Statt Strandblick gab es den Ausblick auf einen Schotterparkplatz, der Balkon war leider nicht vorhanden. Die Zimmer waren nicht sehr sauber, die Duschhandtücher mehr als abgenutzt und am Ende ihrer Tage. Das Personal ist wenig aufmerksam und reagiert nur sehr langsam auf Bestellungen oder Fragen, dir einzige Ausnahme war Mike, dessen Auftreten und Engagement tadellos war. Das einzige Highlight ist tatsächlich die Lage direkt an der Lagune, aber das Bahia Apartments & Diving wäre schlecht beraten, sich allein darauf zu verlassen. Ich verstehe auch nicht, weshalb die zusätzlichen Gebühren und Steuern, die das Hotel erhebt, bei der Buchung nicht direkt im Preis inkludiert sind, sondern mehr oder weniger versteckt durch einen Hinweis aufgeführt werden. In unserem Fall war sowohl vor der Buchung auf der Website sowie auch danach in der Buchungsbestätigung angegeben, dass die Zahlung der Gebühren und Steuern vor Ort im Hotel erfolgen würde, das Hotel hat aber die Abbuchung direkt nach der Zimmerreservierung /-buchung vorgenommen. Es ist mir also absolut unverständlich und wirkt nicht sehr vertrauensvoll. Alles in allem ist die Unterkunft samt Service nur durchschnittlich bis teilweise sogar enttäuschend.

JOÃO GABRIEL (10/5): Excelente!! - Tivemos uma ótima experiência no Bahia Apartments. O anfitrião, Peter, é muito simpático. Mike, do staff, também é muito atencioso e divertido. A vista do apartamento família é maravilhosa e a praia Lagun é muito tranquila e boa para snorkel. Além do mais, o hotel fica perto das boas praias de Westpunt. Então, se você estiver de carro (o que é altamente recomendável em se tratando de Curaçao), poderá aproveitar ao máximo o que a região tem a oferecer. Voltaria com certeza.
Jan Gerald (8/5): Perfect snorkel spot! - Location is perfect if you love to snorkel or dive! 2 restaurants and apartment was in the wind so no need for air conditioning. (Is in the bedroom but never used it.) could use some updates and repairs, but this didn’t bother us.
