- Companion67921533849 (2/5): Confirmed Booking Ignored, Belongings Removed Without Warning - Booked through Priceline and both Priceline and the hotel confirmed our stay through the correct date at check-in. The night before our flight home, we returned to find all of our belongings removed from the room—no call, no warning, nothing. Staff claimed our reservation ended two days earlier, yet somehow didn’t notice we were still occupying the room? Instead of fixing the issue, they were more focused on proving Priceline was wrong. Assistant General Manager Ms. Marin was contacted and made us feel like freeloaders, when in reality we had a legitimate, confirmed booking. After over two hours of back-and-forth, they refused to honor the reservation, leaving us scrambling for another hotel at a higher price. Polite on the surface, but dismissive and unwilling to help when it actually mattered. Would not recommend.
- 678bridgetp (10/5): Great place to stay! - We stayed here for 1 month as my husband was on a temporary duty assignment. It was quiet and we had no problems. The staff were very nice. The rooms are what you would expect and are in good shape. Not much outside noise and lots of things close by. Restaurants are in walking distance.

However beyond that this is how it went: Checked into a room and had to move to another one in the 3rd floor because the television did not work. Had a dog for the visit. I have never stayed at a hotel where the pet fee was over $100.00. I had to catch a plane the next morning so was unable to deal with it then but then see three credit card charges. One for the stay, one for the dog, and one was $20 (no idea). When I called to complain I was told the dog fee would be removed. I later saw the $20 was removed but now the other $123 and another for 140. I will never stay at another Marriott. Horrible.

- Travel773987 (6/5): Odd customer service - The hotel itself is a pleasant place—conveniently located near the airport, but far enough away that traffic noise is not an issue. My room was clean and comfortably cool, which was much appreciated on a 100-degree day. However, my check-in experience was less positive. When I arrived, I was told I had used mobile check-in, though I later learned that this feature is not set up at this property. While not a major issue, it caused some confusion for the front desk clerk, who then asked the Assistant Manager, Dora, to help. She checked me in and provided a key. Unfortunately, the first key did not work. I returned to the desk for a replacement, but the second key also failed. When I asked to see a manager, Dora eventually came out, walked quickly toward the room, and indicated that I could follow if I wished. Later, she returned to the desk, said her key worked, and handed it to me without much explanation. At that point, I shared that I was tired from a long day of travel and frustrated by the situation. I asked how the hotel might address the inconvenience. Dora replied, “What do you want me to do?” I suggested waiving the parking fee, which she agreed to, though her tone left me feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously. When I reminded her I was a Bonvoy member, she acknowledged it by saying, “Yes. Silver,” in a way that felt dismissive. I understand that Silver status is the entry tier, but at other Marriott properties, I have always been greeted warmly regardless of status. This was the first time I felt that my loyalty—and my business—were not particularly valued

- ShubhK (8/5): Conveniently located near airport - Located very close to the airport. Convenient to stay here after a late arrival. Breakfast was okay. The pool is nice and cold, which feels refreshing in the scorching summer El Paso sunshine. It’s also conveniently located near a major highway.

These three went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, taken care of, and right at home. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail are top-tier. If they’re not already in management, the leadership team needs to start training them for it immediately—they’re that good. If you’re coming to El Paso, stay at this hotel and definitely ask for Janeth, Kim, or Alexcis. They’ll make your stay unforgettable. Thank you all for the incredible service!

- Terri (4/5): - The room was nice with kitchenette; however, we were only staying one night before a flight at 6 am the next morning. The television screen in our room did not have connection - no TV. Front desk said technician was not available and when asked offered no refund. Then, while trying to sleep because of early flight.... a terrible noise awoke me. It sounded like someone was running a power tool! Unable to sleep, I called front desk at 11:30 pm. This clerk was very kind, said he would walk the hallways and listen. However, at 12:30 am, I heard it again. This time I realized that it was the refrigerator compressor, in the refrigerator in our room!! Solution - I turned off the refrigerator. I reported it to the front desk in the morning. Again, no offer of compensation. I don't know if the hotel has repaired the TV Direct TV connection or if they have repaired the refrigerator. If you are staying here, be sure to test/check/listen for everything in room as soon as you arrive. We did not have the breakfast or use any amenities; it was just to be a good rest before early flight - not.

- coolchange78 (10/5): Best Stay in a Long Time - I stay in many Marriott's in my travels. The Towneplace Suites El Paso Airport is top notch! From the check-in with Evelyn to check-out with Thad, 21 night stay was fantastic. Four personnel really out did themselves making my stay the best I have had in a while. The housekeepers Nancy, Adriana, and Brittany were the bomb. My room was consistently attended. Chris, providing my breakfast made each morning pleasant. Overall though, every employee treated their guest like VIP's. It truly was an amazing stay. I highly recommend.
- jds4life2018 (2/5): Extremely Disappointing Experience with Unresponsive Management - I recently booked two rooms for eight adults through Hotwire, expecting suitable accommodations based on the booking description. Upon arrival, I discovered that each room contained only a king bed and a double sofa bed, which was not sufficient for four adults per room. When I raised the issue with the front desk, I was told they couldn’t change the rooms, even though the hotel had availability. I then spoke with the manager, Dora Marin, who was not only unhelpful and very nasty but suggested we book an additional room at full price to accommodate everyone. Her response was unprofessional, and she ended the call abruptly when I tried to explain the situation. Adding to the frustration, one of the sofa beds had a stained mattress that appeared to be blood, which was completely unacceptable. After bringing this up, we were offered another room—again with a king bed—despite the hotel being nearly empty. Hotwire confirmed that the hotel wasn’t meeting the reservation terms and offered to assist with finding alternative accommodations or issuing a refund. Unfortunately, we were already settled in due to our early flight the next morning. The management here is unaccommodating, and the overall condition of the rooms is subpar. I would strongly advise looking for other options. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this hotel.

- P5122PDkiml (4/5): Extremely disappointed for such a highly rated hotel - We were initially set up in room 126. The toilet did not function well. I had to jiggle the handle repeatedly to try to get to flush when we got there.. but I let it go because it was so late when we arrived and I very tired. Two out of the 3 pillows were flat so I did not get a good nights sleep. The next morning I had forgot about the toilet until my husband said he couldn’t flush the toilet. When I called the front desk to request assistance- the man who answered said he would look for a plunger and bring it to me. I said I am not fixing your toilet- you need someone to come fix this or provide an alternative solution. He moved us to room 225 - which I called down to let the front desk know there was no desk chair in the new room! That should have been a red flag!! The toilet worked in the new room but made weird noises when flushed. Another red flag but no problem- at least it worked.. until we tried to take a shower. I attempted to take a shower but the shower spewed cold shower so I got out and let the front desk know when leaving the hotel. Front desk said they would send maintenance to fix. When we came back- no note or message from the front desk to say it was not working so we thought it was good. This morning - shower was cold- still not fixed. The water ran warm at the tub faucet but when switching to shower it comes out cold. It was so cold I couldn’t finish my shower! Just like the day before! Although we were leaving I felt it was important to let management know- I was also livid. I called and spoke with Dora who initially expressed she was the manager until I explained the issue. Even when explaining the issues we had I felt little empathy- I was asked why we didn’t move when given an option- to which I replied I had.. but I went from broken toilets to broken shower! Then I was told the manager would have to fix the issue and wouldn’t be in until 10. I had to call the hotel to find out what happened at 11:50 as I did not hear from anyone about my issue. Dora told me for my dismal experience they would provide 2k points. I asked to speak with the manager but was told she was unavailable and would contact me. No response from the hotel I decided to contact their customer service- who agreed that the restitution afforded was not commiserate with the horrible experience provided. In fact Seth reflected more concern with the customer experience with the breakfast bar (as he did an excellent job on maintaining it) then those responsible for my room experience. Extremely disappointed in the experience that we are planning to find other lodging for our future visits to El Paso!

If she can stop eating enough to help that would be helpful..but between her snacking she was always RUDE and unhelpful. Manager needs to tell Sar how to do her job and stop eating and help. Sara had no idea what an AMBASSADOR with Marriott was....awful, awful. Do not stay there. Its over prices and rooms are old. Our room always smelled like cigarettes. Towels were not clean. and tons of ants. NEVER GO THERE!!!!! The worst Marriott evern, and TRAIN SARA or fire her. Avoid this ..motel 6 is better! Its the rudeness of the front desk Sara, that is worse than the cigarettes!

The provided meals are nominal at best, not great, but sometimes absolutely terrible and undercooked. The snack bar is a bit overpriced. Housekeeping is sporadic at best. Not a whole lot of consistency. The washers cost $2/load, and the driers are $1 in quarters only. Staff has stated their management is looking to stop exchanging for quarters for the machines with no remedy. The machines are owned entirely by the property. The rooms are decent. Enough to do the job, I guess.

- Jesus (8/5): Free parking or not? - Booked a 5 day stay at this hotel thru Hotels.com., which stated “free parking”. On arrival I was told there would be a $10 per day parking fee. Checked the hotel’s website which states “parking available. No gated parking. No one checking on who is parking. Corporate greed on the part of the hotel and inaccurate property information by Hotels.com resulted in having to pay an extra $50. This property is not in New York or LA to be charging parking fee. Hotels.com needs to verify their claim of free parking.
- 707angelac (10/5): Fantastic stay - We loved our stay here! The staff was all very nice! Everyone would greet you anytime you would see them working on the property. They were always cleaning the common areas. The breakfast was good the usual offerings, eggs and bacon. They had waffles and juices with coffee. We brought our small dog the pet area was large and easily accessible. The room was clean and large enough for the two of us plus our pup. We did not hear a peep and we were on the first floor.

- Amanda (2/5): - We arrived after 11 pm on a Thursday night. We got checked in fairly quickly. Went up to our room, and it was one king bed. I booked a 2 queen suite with fold out couch as we had our 3 kids with us. Went back down to the front desk, and she said sorry, they had no rooms like that available. We had already prepaid, they would not refund and it was so late we couldn't go anywhere else. The next day we were given the correct room, but never refunded for the first night, and half my family had to sleep on the floor. Not what I would expect for a hotel that we paid $140 a night for, and even worse they wouldn't refund our first night. Now I am stuck disputing with our credit card company for the first night. IF the room mess up wouldn't have happened it really is a nice hotel, good location, and everything else was fine.

- Trent (8/5): Just a Regular Hotel - The hotel is in a good location. It is not a newer hotel and some of the cleanliness can be questioned. There is a free breakfast that consist of granola bars, muffins, pre packaged juices and yogurt. Hotel is definitely not worth the price. Had to pay a $100 non-refundable pet deposit for my 6 pound dog.

This hotel was extremely clean the pool was beautiful . General manager was very welcoming and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable I would definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and family. A definite great stay by El Paso airport.

Do not have a shuttle to the airport which is five minutes away. it cost me $15 in the taxi that the hotel uses

- BrianDFW (6/5): Pets and fees - Be careful because the hotel charges 116.00 including tax for one pet. In reviewing hotel info on the internet I saw reports and posts where they charge 50 and 75.00 per pet. Perhaps pet rates went up in an effort to generate more Revenue during the pandemic. Can’t blame them for that but just an FYI so You don’t have a surprise like me. Their app does state 100.00 plus tax but I overlooked it as I saw many various fees. Again just an FYI, hotel is just fine in an average way.

See photos...plus dishwasher was going like they just started it when we got to the room. Was loud and put us by the elevator which was loud as well. We left at 2 am.

- J.Gereda (2/5): - hidden fee of 300 for pets is deceptive when the website advertises pet friendly. Booked two queen and received one king. Front desk while polite were not helpful stating that they have nothing to do with booking. But the hotel was not full so could they have accommodated me? No offer to do so. With fewer amenities and reduced services, its greedy to be charging the same as one paid in the past for housekeeping, added coffee, towels, shampoo, breakfast etc. The take away bag of breakfast was not even available at 8 am when I left in the morning, I don't think they prepare for all guests and do whatever they can to not provide anything. The room did not have any cups or utensils that I could find in cabinets or drawers so after searching, I opened the dishwasher to find it full. I had no idea if they were clean or not... but lazy to not put them away so I would know for sure especially in the time of covid. One small shampoo. One bar of soap. Not one for sink and one for shower but only one. The shampoo was ok for one person but I booked for three people. Thats why I wanted two queen beds. two towels. One trash can. Not one in bathroom and one in kitchen but only one for whole room. Trash piled at elevators.... Never staying at a Mariott property again!
- L813QK (10/5): Clean rooms and friendly staff - My first impression of the hotel captured by the cleanliness and attentiveness the staff displayed towards guests and rooms. My room was immaculate, fresh, and spotless. I am very impressed with the incredible housekeeping hospitality demonstrated during my stay at the Towneplace Suites in El Paso. I will be staying here again and would highly recommend it!

- Manuel (8/5): Interesting stay - Hotel is nice and quiet accessible to shops and stores and the Airport is close by. The service was not that great(day shift). We kept asking for clean sheets TP and we’re told we needed to wait due to the limited staffing they had which I understood. So we waited finally two days later we finally got them what we asked for. The lady walked in to the room and hand it to us without knocking first. We soon learned to wait until night shift staff to ask for amenities if we needed anything.
- sluczak (8/5): Great stop before you hit the road - Nicely appointed and typical Marriott property. Close to some nice restaurants and easy to get to from the airport. Free parking for your rental car and use the shuttle to take you back and forth if you need it. Careful shuttle not always running late night and we had to use Uber which took 20 minutes to get! Nice buffet breakfast that has your usual fare of eggs, sausage and other items. Front desk staff was very nice and friendly.

Not opulent by any means but comfortable. Very reasonably priced. We would defiitely stay here again.

Excellent breakfast with many options. Free coffee/tea/hot chocolate in the lobby even in the evenings. Extremely friendly staff, very accommodating. Will definitely stay here on my next trip to El Paso and would highly recommend.

Bed was so comfortable, my room faced busy street,but for most part was very quiet and lights from traffic at night looked pretty. Seating area outside with tv and fireplace by pool very enjoyable,only wish they could have cleaned out ash trays from smokers,still there next a.m. breakfast ok,expected a bit more variety,but coffee good. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

- 832kaseyl (4/5): Not Thrilled - The room was great, comfy king bed, a full size fridge and microwave to help with the making and keeping of baby bottles, the night staff however were not great. They over looked myself and son, more than once upon check-in, who I was holding in his car seat at the front desk and proceeded to help others that had walked in after us. Though the room was booked with points as a gift, the lady that checked us in (Elizabeth) asked for my card to put on file for any “incidentals”, which I had no problem with, she did not however inform me there would be a hold of any amount on my card and the hotel continued to add charges to the card throughout the entire stay, which left the account overdrawn in the end, and caused me an unpleasant amount of overdraft fees, due to this action. When I tried to ask her about the charges and talk to her about them, she was more than unpleasant to deal with. The breakfast was cold and not that enjoyable, I ended up only eating the sausage links after having to reheat them. The elevators kept going out of service and the TV remote did not work over half the time unless you held the battery cover tight and used force with the buttons, and the options for purchase as far as snacks and drinks were more than limited, and everything listed was not even available. I will be contacting corporate about my stay and not be staying with this location again on my next trip. It sadly was a waste of points and time dealing with this location and their staff. I truly expected more for my stay after traveling almost 10 hours on the road to get here and spend the weekend in town. I pray future guest have a more pleasant experience than ours.

- elle (2/5): - Nothing wrong with the actual property. The customer service was awful. We stayed for 10 days and had to typically hunt down the maids to take our trash, the never routinely came in. We also had an issue with billing. It took several weeks and multiples calls on our end to get the issue resolved. The management team was awful about calling us back, like they said they would. Actually, they never called us back, it took contacting corporate and basically harassing the staff to actually fix the issue. No remorse about the fact that they charged our card wrong, causing overdraft fees and other bills to get messed up.
- oomie62 (10/5): Convenient Location-Clean Property - Had a bad experience at a property nearby and didn’t stay there. Looked for a property in close proximity but on a Friday night everything was booked. We were lucky to find a king room at Springhill Suites. The overall impression upon arrival was great. The grounds were clean, the lobby was well kept. We were greeted upon arrival by Elizabeth. She was so friendly and personable. The check in process was fast and efficient. Our room was a bit smaller than most king rooms, but was quite cozy, clean and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy, and most importantly the room was quiet allowing for restful sleep. The breakfast area was well stocked, with a wide variety of options to fuel up for the day. The location was great with access to restaurants, shopping and highways to navigate the city. I would highly recommend this property while visiting El Paso.

They had dinners mon-wednesday, and while they weren't great, they weren't bad. WIFI speed was acceptable (a huge sticking point with me). All in all, I'm glad I chose this hotel for this stay.
