Our daughter had a king bed room, clearly more updated than ours. Neither had a bar or ring for hand towels in bath. Please add! But would stay again:-)

• Dena (8/5): - We stayed there for its proximity to MI's Adventure. The hotel is only 1 story, which is fine with me. It resembles an older person home on the exterior. Everything is clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff, all we encountered, were all very friendly and helpful. The pool looked wonderful, but we were too tired to enjoy it. I wasn't impressed with the breakfast options but to be fair that's typical. It was good for what it was. My only true complaint would be the toilet. It was not an adult or comfort height and I feel it should be. But overall we would absolutely stay here again. The location is close to Walmart, Aldi, etc. but dining past 8 p.m. can be difficult unless it's Taco Bell or Little Caesar's.

• Ashley (10/5): Great hotel in this location - I would stay here 100 times before I stay anywhere else in the area. Everything was clean, staff were kind and helpful, and there's no place else like this near Blue Lake. We had one hiccup where Hotels.com said they charged us $25 at the time of booking, but the hotel charged us the full rate at check-in, and the manager helped resolve the issue quickly.

• Melinda (10/5): - Excellent customer service at check in. Our Vbro reservation was cancelled without our knowledge. We showed up a day early, and fortunately, there were vacancies. Worked out great!
• Demetra (8/5): - We stayed one night, our stay was fine. The inn is overpriced for the area and for the extremely dated rooms. Breakfast was the typical Holiday Inn type breakfast. The person that checked us in was not friendly but the person that checked us in was very nice and offered us bottle water for the road, which I appreciated.

• Judi (10/5): We will DEFINITELY be back. - Other than the pool being outdoors, it was great. Restaurant ON SITE for dinner so we didn't have to worry about finding somewhere to eat and the food was great. They have games available for guests, a sitting area with puzzles, fitness center and even a little store area to purchase snack, beer, wine etc. Quick/easy check-in with complimentary cooks and extremely friendly staff. Room was large and very comfortable.

• Erika (10/5): My favorite hotel! - I stay here every year at Christmas, and it was wonderful as always. The standard room is big with a leather sofa and has a comfy bed. The staff is always friendly and I get free homemade cookies daily. I did not eat at the restaurant this time, but it is great. I've also stayed in the summer, and the pool is great too.

• Kenneth (10/5): - We were last in Fremont in the 1980s when we took our children on a tour of Gerber Baby foods. We recently returned to visit our brother and on his recommendation we stayed here. I have never been so impressed with a motel—this is an Inn—on any stay in the USA! Our room with a King bed was spacious and the shower was a convenient walk-in which at age 77 I appreciated! The appointments (decor) were amazing! Pictures, color choices, layout all tied together to offer a pleasant feeling of comfort. There is a small dining area for lunch and dinner—breakfast is included in one’s stay—and an outdoor pool in season. There is no hot tub but guests are free to use the Tamarac, the nearby fitness center. I went there and was also wowed by the place! The hot tub was great and the workout area rivals any national chain. Finally, the staff. Friendly, helpful, and a delight with whom to engage in asking for any help or personal needs. You will not be disappointed in your stay at the Harrington Inn. But I do offer this: tours of the Gerber factory are no longer.😥 A fabulous gem in the most unexpected place.

Of course I brought my clorox wipes but our room was so clean I barely used them (only bc of ocd). The shower was the cleanest hotel shower I have ever been in as well. The air conditioning was fresh and crisp without any odor. I will be back again if I am in the area.
• Alice (10/5): Great place to stay in Fremont - We always stay here when we're in the area. It's always clean and comfortable and great, friendly service at the front desk.
• Sara (10/5): - Room was clean and a good size. Not quite as modern as some of the larger chain hotels, but very comfortable. Parking was easy. Check-in was fast. Breakfast in the morning was basic, but hot and fresh. Will definitely stay here again when we visit the area.

• Cory (10/5): Very Nice Stay. Great staff. - I stayed here for 5 nights in a king bed with 2 armchairs and a small fridge with a freezer. It was close to several places to eat. And the staff was very helpful with recommending places to stop in. Also when I had a problem with the toilet in my room (it was leaking a bit), they had maintenance in there asap which was the next morning and had it fixed while I went to lunch. Also the heated pool was a nice treat to relax at. I didn't use the grill outside but it was there for anyone to use. Lastly the front desk was attended when I got back late every night which was great for me because I needed items from their small shop/refrigerator.

• Brittney (6/5): - Everything was decent. I didnt appreciate the fact i was told threw my receipt it was 111$ at check in but got charged $135ish so i was blindsided on that. Plus when i called to ask about paying cash i was quoted $100 cash deposit which would be returned but when i got there was told it b a extra $250 deposit so i was forced to pay in card. And the food in the warmers where still chilly and not all that warm.

The staff was incredible and accommodating to me in the situation I was in. Kahvi was awesome and took great care of me as well as one of the maids, I believe her name was Sofie. Great place, with awesome people, I am very grateful for this hotel and the staff.

Staff friendly, breakfast was much better than found at most chain motels and facilities nicer than most chains. Should advertise in the Michigan Trout Unlimited magazine (4 issues per year) as a large group of members fish this area.
• Todd (10/5): - Close enough to the attraction we were attending to be convenient. Price was almost half as much as closer, much lower rated places to stay. A few more minutes of driving will always be worth staying at a much better hotel, which this most certainly was.

• Jennifer (8/5): - We have stayed here several times in the past but this trip was different. Did they change owners? They added a bar and a restaurant but then took away the ability to hang out in that nice living room area by the fireplace as a family. We always enjoyed going out for an adventure during the day then coming back to play cards and have family time by the fireplace. Instead, we had to use the uncomfortable chairs in the breakfast area while the staff sat in the nice living room on their phones with their feet up. Disappointed.

She wanted to check the toilet herself and once she did, she had to assign me a different room which seemed to inconvenience her terribly.

• Jeremiah (10/5): - This is an absolutely amazing hotel. This place puts the big chains to shame. Super friendly staff. Great rooms that were super clean. We went to Michigan’s Adventure amusement park which is almost 30 minutes from the hotel and it was with the extra travel time. Next time we go to the park we will definitely stay here again. If you are looking for a great hotel, The Harrington Inn, is the place for you.
