Comfortable and spacious and ideal location facing the gulf. No complaints because the issues we had were resolved by management. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

- Jason (8/5): Nice Spot to Stay on the Beach - Great location in the middle of Grand Isle and right on the Gulf beach. Parking is ample and convenient. The apartment was nice and clean. Although we didn't use it, there were places to wash your catch and also grills for cooking outside. The check-in process was somewhat confusing to find the office to check-in and have someone there at the time we wanted to get into the apartment.

BBQ pit downstairs is a huge plus! Internet was down a lot, not a huge deal, but kids wanted to watch Disney+ at bedtime. That's really it, everything else was 10 out of 10

Very basic interior, plastic bathroom etc Small and short beds. Request to guestes to clean dishes at a place charging over 200 USD per night is rather scandalous.

Pull out sofa is awfully uncomfortable. Needs a better one. And ceiling fan can't operate without light on so very stuffy at night. Mount microwave for more counter room. Table is way to big for the space. Shower is lame. All fixable though. Otherwise this place is very clean, cute and location is beyond beautiful. Staff are exceedingly friendly. Local area amazing.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Great little motel / ownership -- room size so/so - This was a great option in Grand Isle -- itself a pretty cool destination...there's not a ton to do there, but that's kind of the point...old school motels and restaurants and a nice, little used white sand beach on the gulf coast. Motel ownership was great -- really friendly, communicative, and available. The only knock on the this location is that the room sizes listed (sq ft) are way off -- the largest one offered is listed as almost 3,000 sq ft but it's absolutely no where near that...it'd be very cramped if your party is the 6-7 people it lists as accommodating. Overall would definitely recommend, just double check the size of the accommodations you're reserving.

- Christina (10/5): Comfortable, quiet stay - The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cottages are nice. Short walk to the beach. It was very quiet and peaceful. The booking site was misleading. A "budget double room" is actually a camper. I would suggest booking on the actual Blue Dolphin site.

- Lisa (10/5): Great for beach, fishing access! - Location one of the best for beach sitting, fishing, crabbing. Accommodations were great, especially since, post-Ida, there are fewer camps to rent. Friendly staff! Thank you.
