Nichts

Walking paths & gardens surround the property. Sheep & a donkey to visit in the pasture. The host is excellent and serves a delicious farm to table breakfast.

- Barbara (7/5): Lovely property, energetic host. - It was very nice to stay in a well loved home on a working farm with beautiful scenery including rolling hills, farm fields and pastures, and a little lake. We had a mix up where I’d booked two beds and when we arrived we were shown a room where there was only one bed and a shared bathroom.
- Richard (10/5): Highly recommended. Will visit again! - The building oozes character and the property is immaculate. Breakfast and coffee delicious. Susan is the best b and b hostess there is. It can be tricky to find at first but an app like maps it shouldn’t be a problem.
- Darlene (10/5): - Wonderful host worked hard to accommodate personal preferences for food and sleeping arrangements. Love Susan’s lifestyle.😍
- Muhammad (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great stay, Susan greeted us with warm welcome. Our kid loved the farm and enjoyed playing with animals. We will for sure come back.
- Andreanne (10/5): - .
- Dengchun (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (10/5): - It is located on a farm with lots of space to walk and sit, and a small lake which adds a nice charm to the setting. Nice rooms with shared baths, and a fine breakfast selection using locally sourced products
- Juan (10/5): Enchanting place and experience in the Manitoban prairies paradise! - Everything!
Starting with Susan's friendly and welcoming approach, following with the enchanting place full of beautiful memories collection and the exquisite breakfast cooking! I will come back again!
- Beverly (10/5): - Our visit was in early November after two snowfalls. The property is a beautiful century plus old farm. The snow reduced our ability to fully enjoy the walking trails. The house is full of character and staying there was a stop in history. Susan is lovely. She greeted us with hot tea and fresh pumpkin muffins made from her harvested pumpkins. Her food is locally harvested and homemade. Even her jams.
- Petr (10/5): Magical experience thanks to the wonderful host Susan. -
- Ernesto (10/5): The whole stay was a great experience. -
- Lajarvik (10/5): Walden Pond location and a comfortable bed too - Idyllic farmhouse B&B in quiet countryside Not a thing
- Olena (10/5): Exceptional -
- George (8/5): Very good - Hospitality....Meals...very clean
- Volodymyr (10/5): Exceptional - Quite place with an interesting history.
- Carmen (10/5): Absolutely Adore Susan and The Fairmount B&B - Staying with Susan was reminiscent of when I was a child and we’d stay with family when we traveled. Her home and property are lovely, her breakfasts, including homemade jams, syrup, and grape juice, were delicious, and her hospitality was second to none. It kinda felt like being home and having someone looking after you ♥️
The bedroom we stayed in was comfortable and we had a designated washroom right across the hall.
I will definitely visit again in future and would recommend for anyone looking for this kind of experience, rather than a cold, impersonal hotel experience.
- Gayle (10/5): its a lovely place to stay - the company and the location was awesome nothing
- Brian (10/5): - Very unique and interesting inn!
- Fu (8/5): An unique experience travelling in an old farm house - The place is truly designered for travellers who enjoy farm life and nature. It's an old house of 110 year's history. Once you step in, you will feel yourself travelling back to old times - everything there looks old-fashioned and interesting. And the bed, pillow and blanket are comfortable. I like opening the old French-style window in the morning and hear birds singing. And the hostess Susan is very knowledgeable in cooking & planting, and I did enjoy having good conversation with her. No internet. As the house is located in farm, you have to drive through rock road for short time. But for a traveller, especially family travellers, it
's worth checking it out.
- Lori (8/5): Susan was an excellent host and we felt right at home. - We liked the history of the place and the host was very friendly. Did not like the location.
- Jo-ann (7/5): Good -

- Singh (7/5): Good -
- Paul (10/5): - Lovely rural location with a gracious host. Very good breakfasts with emphasis on local ingredients.
- Rose (10/5): - Frontier House is in a lush and gorgeous location steeped in nature. We loved staying in the history filled farm house with its private lake, a donkey and sheep grazing outside our window, and flocks of waterfowl and songbirds. Host Susan Proven has a host of stories to tell and serves up delicious breakfasts and other treats. A lovely, relaxing getaway.
- David (10/5): - Such a lovely location and super friendly and interesting host. Very accommodating and informative and wonderful breakfast
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved the gardens. The house is lovely and the host was excellent. Not far to Onanole and Clear Lake.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The host, th me home cooked breakfast, the home, the animals, the environment… just everything about this place is amazing !
- Donna (8/5): Not in Minnedosa - The house is not located in Minnedosa as advertised.
It is a beautiful house in a beautiful location, but very isolated.
We were the only guests, but if there had been another guest we would of had to share a small bathroom. I want aware of this
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was good, very friendly, can't ask for a better stay, kid's just loved it thetr
- Zoe (10/5): A wonderful experience - It was a great time living in Susan's home. Clean house, lovely farm, delicious breakfast, welcomed Susan…everything there was wonderful!! I'm sure we'll visit there again later.
- motherof4 (10/5): Sweet cottage house and Susan is a wonderful host! - Fresh chokecherry syrup and pancakes and fresh farm eggs & bacon!
Super co.fortable beds
Love the toys in the Peter pan room upstairs!
Perfect for a stay with family to reconnect
We will be back!
- Maureen E (8/5): Lovely country B&B - We stayed at this B&B three nights, and found our hostess to be delightful. Her cooking was very good; we had dinner with her twice. The room did not have an ensuite bath. The house is very difficult to find.
- William (10/5): Great country style stay - It's off Hwy 10 on 90N and a great place to stay while hiking Riding Mountain.
