Guest Reviews
- samantha (10/5): . - . .
- Tim (10/5): - Lovely setting, right by the Lions. Great and kind staff.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (10/5): Every member of the team couldn’t do enough for us. Special thanks and a mention to the young lad and his team in Bear L - We upgraded to Bear Lodge which was totally amazing. Loved the fire, huge shower room and beds were comfortable. May be put a shelf in the shower room as there was only an under sink cupboard.
- Christine (8/5): Beautiful surroundings and relaxing. - Location amazing, beautiful views and excellent food. Stayed in the pinewood pod which was very good but the futon once out there is no room to climb round to get to the toilet in the night.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pedro (8/5): Will be back - The reserve, restaurants and viewings around the property The WI-FI is terrible, simply no sign in pinewood location… unable to use any device during my stay.
- Sian (9/5): A wonderful place to stay and get free entry to sister park about half hour away - We could see the lions from our pod
There’s a games room with pool, tv and games and a fire pit they give marshmallows for s’mores
Beds comfortable but very tight on space once sofa bed is out
But we’ll worth a visit and there are many types of accommodation to choose from We stayed in a pod that doesn’t have a toilet in so when you make regular trips overnight it’s a bit of a palava
Extremely expensive a 500 ml bottle of coke £3:50😮 but about 15 mins away there’s Sainsbury’s and a Tesco etc to get provisions
- Tracy (7/5): It’s a lovely thing to do , just needs the toilets checked regularly and rubbish picked up - The idea of being near the lions and in a log cabin was appealing, the fire pit was really nice the cabins are really nice it was relaxing The big thing for me is the late check in 3 is very late when you’ve paid quite a lot of money for one night and then got to leave at 10 , there’s no reason check in can’t be 12, also disabled people need to be able to hire the buggies I have got a bad foot and I was told “ the buggies are for people as part of there package deal ! I think they should be available to hire ….. I really enjoyed going but I just couldn’t walk all that way
- Masrangee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zephania (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (9/5): The perfect educational family stay - This is a premium experience no matter which accommodation you choose. We had two pods, one en-suite which was excellent but the top bunk is constrained by the elevation of the roof so I’d recommended for kids up to 150cm.
The toilet and shower were really useful
and saved outside communal sharing.
Overall I’d pay for en suite every time.
The park, staff and animal experiences unbelievable. Our driver on the inclusive safari didn’t comment once inside the safari park - so kids a little bewildered. This shouldn’t have happened as the safari should be fully ‘voiced over’.
- Laura (10/5): great for kids - the kids loved it here, very out doorsy, definitely going to come back in the summer. our kettle didn’t work however a nice maintenance man dropped us a new one .
