Guest Reviews
- William (10/5): - Nice place
- Soumounthinh (10/5): - Great place to stay!
- Priyanka (2/5): Not worth the value - We had booked 2 Suites at lake Marina inn. It was a very hot day over 110F. So our family wanted to freshen up and relax after a day of exploring. At check-in we were told that the Wi-Fi is weak and that is all we get. After an hour in the room, keeping the AC at minimum and full power, the room didn't cool down. The AC would work for 5 mins then snooze to low power. On asking the front desk for help, they said this is the max the AC can work. They provided us with a table fan for 1 room. That unfortunately didn't help cool down 2 suites. There was no cold water in the shower. Bed was not comfortable, it was very lumpy.
- Vanessa (10/5): - We enjoyed the picturesque window view, however the windows didn't have screens. The place was very quiet and the room was clean. The parking lot is very small it was difficult to maneuver our 16 ft pontoon even when we were the only car in the parking lot. But to be fair, when you're staying at the hotel you don't need a boat they have a lovely pier to fish from

- Angela (2/5): Not a happy camper. - We never got to stay. Received a phone call while in route that they need to cancel our room. Told us to go online to cancel... however it was a non cancelation room. Needlessbto say... never stayed and was still charged for our room.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Horrible - My stay was horrible our room smelled like urine. Then there was a lady outside with a cut on her chest. Talking to me and my boyfriend abot the bbq that she had just used. I’m
- Lynne (10/5): - Friendly staff and manager. Spacious room with kitchen, BBQ facilities and our had a nice lake view.
- cheyenne (10/5): - Although it wasn't the nicest place we have stayed in, the room was clean and the people were very helpful and friendly. We got there hours after we were supposed to check in not planning the travel time right but the guy working got us straight into the room. The absolute BEST part for us was waking up to the view of the lake. It was very beautiful and we enjoyed it immensely. We definitely plan on returning especially seeing the size of the catfish some guys were catching in the lake that day. We are already planning a fishing trip there soon.
- Sandra (10/5): Beautiful lake view - My room was on the water with large windows giving a gorgeous view of beautiful Clear Lake. I had help carrying my suitcase up a short set of steps. Very restful location, comfortable bed. Air conditioner sufficient, but entry driveway a little challenging.
- regina (6/5): - They have try to upgrade a little since I was last here
Keyless Entry and painted the building.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Room that we rented was not available. Plumbing problems. Alternate room was unacceptable. So we passed on this property.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Place was overflowing with garbage and the room was even scary my kids weren't gonna stay a big waste of alot of money...
- Verified traveler (6/5): - View of lake is the only good thing about hotel… needs to be updated and cleaned up…
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was ok
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Best rate best customer service !!!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The shower was cloged the tube was filling up while showering .
- KEVIN (2/5): Horrible place to stay - Stayed here for 4 night for business. The place is falling apart. The room had a bad smell to it. The sink and bathtub didnt drain. To take a shower you had to stand in about 8 inches of cold water. The ad said free in room wi-fi but you could only get wi-fi if you stood by the office. The worse hotel i have ever stayed in my life.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very nice motel good for fishing been coming here for years
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent location. Superb view of the lake and enjoyable dock to walk out on. Sunset was beautiful from room. Accommodations were clean and mini fridge was helpful.
- AnthonyS (10/5): - I love coming here staff are friendly and helpful on my second night stay it was a hot night and guests were hanging out enjoying the warm weather and o was playing music from my phone and they offered use the use of a music box that was Bluetooth and we stayed up till 11 that night like I said very friendly and helpful
- Cheryl (6/5): - My daughter ended up not staying because her room did not have a working heater or TV, but the front desk manager was understanding and gave her a refund. She decided to drive further along before stopping again. This was in winter and during strong storms so the heater was important and other rooms were already occupied.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very easy with pets and a beautiful view, nice picnic table over the lake clean linens, nice hot clean shower
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No internet, no cable, and once we paid for the room no answer to the front desk via phone or in person at the office.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Manager had excellent customer service
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Well maintained Peaceful. Very clean. But when the lights come. At night watch out for the bugs.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Peaceful Rest Right on the Lake - Nice location right on the lake, great if you fish or have a boat, they have a grill and bbq area, but we only stayed overnight. Wish we could stay longer. Room was nice and comfy, included a kitchen- stovetop, sink, microwave, and refridgerator- but no oven and no utensils or dishes. We used our own, but it would be nice to have something included so we didn't have to dig through luggage. The office is a bit tricky to find, though the manager was friendly and had a cute dog. Unfortunately the room reaked of air freshener when we first arrived, if you are chemical sensitive you would not be able to stay there, luckily the windows open. The wifi never worked, it was stormy but my mobile hotspot got us sporadic interrnet. They are obviously working on the place, but the new touches are nice. I loved the fact that there was a place to sit out on the lake as well as swallows nesting on the side of the building. Would stay again, even though they do charge for dogs.
- Dan (4/5): could easily improve - half inch crack between door and floor lets in flies at night. patio furniture uncomfortable and dirty. nice location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This hotel is directly on the lake and is actually budget friendly! Room was clean and the manager was so nice! Going back next week!
- David (4/5): Welcome to a Third World Country Inn - The people who run this motel are very pleasant and accommodating but when I checked in, I thought I was in a third world country. The smell took me back to my trip to El Salvador. The unit I stayed in had two rooms and there was only half of a window covering on one of them, allowing the world to look in. The toilet tissue holder had only one arm, the drapes hung to the floor in a different lengths with one set of drapes having at least a foot and a half on the floor.
There was a large oil spill in the parking lot that people were walking through, tracking oil into the individual units. The place was generally clean but I couldn't understand why they had placed moldy bologna at the top of the stairs. The toilet seat was much smaller than the toilet and when I looked out of the window to view the gorgeous scenery, I looked down to see broken cement that reminded me of my trip to Ecuador.
The unit had a kitchen with no silverware or pans or anything like that.
i would go back because the scenery is so gorgeous and the people who run it are very nice but I have to be geared up to something like this. I can only be reminded of Inner City Kingston, Jamaica so often.
- Katheleen (2/5): Most disgusting place I've ever stayed. - This hotel was the most disgusting hotel I've ever been in. It wreaked of urine. The carpet was filthy. The tv didn't work. The water was chlorine smell and the overall condition was a wreck. I called hotel.com to help me book a place e as I was on the road. I demand a refund! I didn't feel safe there at all. It was awful. We left smelling like urine.
- Linda (2/5): NEVER AGAIN! - WORN MATTRESSES, WORN BED LINEN, FRONT T DESK PERSONNEL DRESSED IN PJ'S, ALSO STRESSED OVER & OVER FOR US NOT TO LOSE KEY TO ROOM BECAUSE IT WAS THE ONLY ONE
- Jerry (6/5): - The room was clean but the bathroom stunk of moldy water coming from the bathroom sink so I opened the cubbard door and saw a bucket full of moldy water apparently the sink drain leaks so instead of fixing it they just put a bucket under it otherwise it was ok except for being over priced
- Verified traveler (8/5): bug fishing trip - the bugs were really out this trip so that put damper on our fishing and being outside after dark, the fishing was fantastic, the weather was awesome and the manager is always helpful, kind and on duty 24/7. the walls in the room had dead bugs on them and the shower drained extremely slow.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Do not stay here. I stayed one night. Sheets looked gross, holes and had hair on them, so I slept above the sheets thinking I’d be somewhat safe. Nope, I have bed bug bites all over where any skin was exposed while sleeping. I just pray none came home with me.
- Donna (10/5): - The View from our Room was amazing. They were so nice they let us wash our bike.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We were pleasantly surprised at the condition of this motel. The bathroom appeared to be recently upgraded, everything was very clean, and the man who checked us in was nice and helpful. I wish we had been able to spend more time at the motel because there was a nice dock on the premises and a bbq area right outside our door. We were there to visit family who were staying at a camp ground close by so we were gone most of the time. I would recommend this motel without hesitation.
- esther (4/5): It was a nice view but parking was horrible - It was a nice little area just needs better parking an definitely needs new fridges the freezer was disgusting it was hella rusty yellow just need a few touch ups. It was a nice bed clean room just maintenance wise needs better an customer service we waited for 30minutes for someone to come an help us for a room
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A decent stopover hotel RIGHT on the lake, with huge rooms and a fridge. You are not paying for the Ritz, so don't expect it to be, but very decent for the price and a nice manager
- Brian (8/5): Great if you like to fish - Nice place, especially if you fish. Boat ramp, and fishing doc. The parking lot was cramped, but adequate. Nothing in the neighborhood, and not much if you drive to town.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This motel was dirty and the reception was unpleasant. I would not even put this motel on your list. It was a disgrace.
- janette (8/5): Please empty my garbage - Staff nice - the parking was bad -- they never emptied the garbage or made a bed or gave us clean tiwels
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was much larger than expected and very comfortable. The view was amazing. The room was over the water and we had a panoramic view of the lake.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Unsanitary - They really need to clean that place up!!! They allow large dogs, and the rooms smell like wet dog. When you check out someone comes and just makes the bed and replace toiletries. They don't change or wash anything.
- Kelly (6/5): Nice location on the lake, but.... - The location is nice and the rooms are spacious and seem freshly painted. However when I went to make coffee in the morning there was mold in the basket that you put the grounds in. There was also a water leak under the bathroom sink that left a puddle on the floor after brushing our teeth. I wanted to let the owner know when we checked out but no one answered the bell and another guest staying there said they usually aren't up that early. Hopefully that guest was able to relay the message to the owner.
- myrdle (10/5): - Staff was wonderful room was comfortable price was reasonable I will be going back again
- Glen (6/5): Cheap. And it didn't codt much either. - Good for a fidhing trip.
- paulino (10/5): best birthday stay - it was great
- Sonny (4/5): Poor Upkeep - The place has a lot of maintenance problems. Shower curtain rod was broken. No cover on electrical wall plug. Bathroom exhaust fan was loos from the ceiling. One town looked like someone cleaned their shoes with it. The toilet paper bracket on the wall was broken .
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room seemed nice at first and then we really started looking around. It definitely needed a good cleaning.
- Cindy (8/5): Nice Hotel (older) and close to the water - We were looking for a hotel close to the water and this one is it. It is an older hotel just like we knew it would be. It was clean and comfortable. The parking is the only complaint that we had. The Managers were very nice and accommodating they even came out the evening we were there and visited. There were families out using the BBQ and seem to be having a great time. Overall it was a nice hotel.
