Super pomocny personel. Super pani która robiła hammam. Mały wybór na śniadaniach. Masaż powinien być relaksujący, dający miłe odprężenie po hammamie. Pani masażystka nie mówiła po angielsku i trudno było się porozumieć w tej kwestii, było zbyt mocno.

• Mieke (5/5): Zeer teleurstellend! - Ligging Ik begrijp niet waar al deze goede beoordelingen vandaan komen. Dit was echt een tegenvaller. We kregen een kille, vochtige kamer, slechte matras, spoelbak die niet doorliep, toilet die losstond en warm water in de douche - na veel geduld een beetje. Personeel was nauwelijks of niet te bespeuren. Zelfs geen vriendelijke hallo van de eigenaars bij aankomst. Ook héél triest op vlak van “catering”. Enkel plat water was er te verkrijgen, bruiswater en andere dranken niet ter beschikking. De eerste avond werd wel de moeite gedaan om ons nog te voorzien van een maaltijd bij aankomst, middelmatig en veel te duur voor wat je kreeg! Gezellig kan je het daar absoluut niet noemen. In vergelijking met een andere riad waar we verbleven is deze Riad absoluut zijn prijs en 4 sterren niet waard. Sorry, ik ben normaal niet iemand die reviews schrijft maar dit moest me toch even van het hart.
• GUERIN (10/5): Très bien - Riad très agréable , belle décoration zen , Redouane et Souleymane sont vraiment très sympathiques et aux petits soins. Très bonnes tapas préparées par Souleymane. La « petite »piscine est jolie mais difficile d’en profiter en toute quiétude dans la mesure où elle est au milieu des petits salons de détente souvent occupés par les guests.

• Elaine (10/5): Paradise behind a hidden door. - Hidden oasis tucked behind the walls of the busy city. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to help us with any questions we had. We had a trip to go to at 7am and they even organized a little breakfast for us before they opened for Breakfast at 8am. This riad will stay with me forever, beautiful smells of flowers and the sound of birds in the morning, it's difficult to describe but it was something I have never experienced before. Coming from the hectic medina streets into this calming sanctuary was beautiful. Our location on the edge of the busy medina was perfect for the best of both worlds. Nothing!

Beautiful decor and friendly helpful staff that truly made my stay a memory - Beautiful Rhiad, courtyard was stunning and tranquil as was the room. I stayed on the ground floor. Beds were comfortable and the property was very clean. I have travelled to many places and can honestly say the staff and service received were one of the best. The team went above and beyond to make sure you were comfortable and were equipped with local knowledge. It was my birthday and I was surprised one morning after breakfast with a birthday cake and a gift which was so thoughtful. I will never forget it. Hard to find something I didn’t like but if I have to, I would say it was hard to get ready as although there were mirrors there were none near a chair where you could sit to makeup and hair. Due to the beautiful ambient lighting it was hard to see. I would suggest taking a mirror you can stand on bedside table with a battery light.

We loved the location near the top end of the souk, we found the artisan shops here much more interesting. The team at Riad Rafaele were simply superb, literally nothing was too much trouble. Tea to welcome you back to the Riad at night, heaters if you were chilly at night, they checked you had water to go to bed with. It’s a peaceful oasis from the mayhem of Marrakech, smelt beautiful as soon as you walked in, rooms were very comfortable and the whole vibe was relaxed comfort. We will return. Nothing to dislike

La réservation sur Hotels stipule une chambre de luxe et nous avons eu droit à une chambre confort, sombre et ne corresponds pas à celle que nous avons réservé. Problème signalé aux responsables mais aucune action ou solution n'a été proposée. Il semble que c'est un problème récurrent puisque d'autres clients avaient été confrontés au même problème. Dommage de nous gâcher partiellement nos vacances.

• Anna (10/5): - We spent 4 nights at this beautiful Riad. Very peaceful & in a great location at the top of the Medina which made exploring on foot very easy. A lovely breakfast each morning of breads and eggs up on the roof top. All the staff were friendly and so welcoming but I must call out Brahim, who gave us a very warm welcome, told us all there is to know on the local area and really looked after us during our stay & at breakfast. A wonderful stay. Thank you all. We can also ecommend the spa & the service provided by Maryam & Oumyma. We booked the duo couples hamman & massage and it was sheer bliss. Once I overcame my inhibitions of being half naked, with just the provided disposable knickers on, it was amazing. The hamman left our skin so soft and cleansed. The massage was so relaxing and included a facial. It was a wonderful treat after a couple of hectic days exploring the Medina. It ends with a delicious, refreshing mint tea. Thank you Maryam & Oumyma for making us feel so special & giving us renewed glowing skin! Such a wonderful Riad - we loved it.

• Samantha (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely stunning Riad! When you step into the Riad, it takes your breath away. It has a modern design, but all with the local Moroccan style. Gourgeous lounging areas around the pool, and a great bar on the rooftop too. Very luxurious room as well. We had the suite that could sleep 3, and the extra bed is actually on a loft so felt like a lot of space for the 3 of us. We also had a very very late check in as we dropped our bags and went out exploring and then ended up going straight to dinner. The staff was there waiting for us, when we checked in at a very late hour. Fabulous service. Nothing, everything was great.
• Rukmini (8/5): - This riad is lovely, has mod cons and is situated in a lovely location, easy to get to all the souks and the taxi rank. However there are some areas for improvement bearing in mind that I have been to Marrakech twice before and stayed in local riads… on our arrival we were greeted warmly with refreshments but then were told that a staff member will be explaining the area on a map and this went on for quite some time which I felt was really unnecessary especially as we were not asked if we needed this information. We were quite tired, already had our days planned and booked museums and this was not needed. No other riad has subjected me to this and certainly not the way I would like to start the holiday. I had to ask twice to allow us to just get changed and start exploring the city. Their breakfasts were not substantial, especially as a vegetarian who does not eggs, they did not cater enough. I had asked for some yoghurt and they did not have any on any of the days. Again in contrast to other riads who have provided a far more substantial breakfast. They also had real problems with their card machine which I found quite stressful to be honest, and I wasn’t the only English person who experienced this. Again other riads I’ve stayed at did not have this problem. They are issues with their plumbing from scorching hot to very cold.
• Jacky (10/5): Cool, friendly and relaxing haven in the heart of the Medina. - Riad Rafaele was a great place to stay to explore Marrakesh. It's location was so close to the souks and walkable to the main palaces and gardens that it was easy to get around and then return to the welcoming cool and relaxing haven of the Riad. Thomas and Valerie and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful in helping with advice, directions, restaurant recommendations and bookings and we felt very safe while staying there. Our room and bed was very comfortable and the breakfast in the roof top conservatory area was a bonus with fresh orange juice, eggs and breads. We experienced the hammam and relaxing massage which was great and lovely to have on site. I recommend taking offer of Riad arranging taxi from airport as you may have difficulty finding it tucked away in the Medina! We would definitely return and explore further into the Atlas Mountains and more. The lock on our room was a bit temperamental at times but it was about to be fixed so not a big issue. Water pressure could be variable but as you are in the heart of the Medina, not unexpected and again no real issue. Staff were always very helpful and ready to address anything we needed.

They were also very reassuring and comforting; as a mother and daughter travelling alone they were able to advise on how best to stay safe. The room was stunning (we had a Junior Suite), and the whole Riad was quiet and peaceful. Don't hesitate to book!

The owner was at hand to help to the needs of the guests everyday , even grinding the coffee beans for the guests . The interior of the Riad was exceptionally designed with good taste and quality materials . We experienced the Spa treatments enjoying the sun deck following our Haman . Very relaxing . A fabulous location allowing us to walk to great roof top Resturant’s and historical sites nearby . We would highly recommend this property .

• Sheila (10/5): A sumptuous retreat with exceptional service. - The Riad was beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing: just a sumptuous escape secreted away at the end of a long, dark alley. I’ve been to Marrakech before and had an idea what to expect, but my friends and colleagues had not and their minds were blown when the door opened to this paradise. It was gorgeous. Our rooms were elegant and comfortable (my friends and I enjoyed a ground floor room [shared a king bed] with soaring beamed ceilings and giant arched windows with heavy curtains). We enjoyed the rooftop continental breakfast (lack of croissants was the only downside ;-), the spa (hammam is a must + massage), and hours spent hanging out with mint tea and local delicacies in the garden courtyard. A couple of us used the pool (a small but lovely floating pool). The staff were truly exceptional. Waiting on our every need and desire, guiding us (literally) to restaurants to dine, and directing and advising us on shopping and more. With a bad knee, I was a bit challenged with all the steep stairs, but there were (mostly) handrails (not true in many parts of the medina, where almost every restaurant is on a rooftop) and so I managed okay. We would go back in a heartbeat. Missed having croissants at breakfast, and one day our showers were cold because one of the staff accidentally turned the wrong knob on the roof. No one was up to be found to address the problem. But we managed. Neither was a big deal.

• Hadewij (9/5): A special experience thanks to the wonderful staff of the Riad Rafaele. - We loved the three young gentlemen who made our stay unforgettable. They did everything in their power to help and guide us where and when they could and showed what true hospitality is all about. We also loved the breakfast, even though one of us could not have gluten, they tried their very best to accommodate us. The building had some "beauty flaws", for example the central heating in our bathroom did not function and the sink was half clogged. Also the system with the outside bell for those who had forgotten their key during the night was not optimal, because when someone did use the bell, many guest were woken up...
• Alexandre (10/5): Exceptional - The Location the place, the deco, the room. The decoration was made with taste. The location is right in the bazzar. The room was a suite but it was very big, very comfortable. The only thing I could say was the smell in the bathroom.
• Farah (1/5): Disappointing - Location Poorly maintained property. Luggage transfer was not facilitated despite contacting the property multiple times. There was no drinking water in rooms and I had to buy from super market and carry all the way. We stayed for three nights and breakfast was not good. No boiled eggs or cereals. The water from bathroom over flowed into room on second day. Expensive and poor value for money. Be mindful of city tax. It’s not included in charges and you will have to pay it extra. Overall disappointing experience. We stayed in Morocco for two weeks and this was worst stay.

• Farah (1/5): Disappointing experience despite paying more than usual for raids in Marrakech. - Location Communication is through booking.com with owner Thomas. Poor communication and did not facilitate luggage transfer despite requesting multiple times. We reached late and had many bags. The hassle of getting luggage to Raid was stressful. Poorly managed and kept property with dirty couches and pool. No cereals or boiled eggs in breakfast. There was not even water in the rooms. We had to carry bottles of water from super market. I contacted Thomas and no response.
• Gordon (10/5): A Marrakech marvel - Great location. Spacious, comfortable room. The staff just couldn’t do enough for us and were very helpful in warning us about the tourist pitfalls in the city.
• Saadi (7/5): Good - Great overall travel experience! The local Riad staff were really helpful especially Houssine. He hosted the experience for us, gave us a map and marked many local travel recommendations. He was very knowledgeable about the Marrakech! The rooms were really clean and the included breakfast was delicious. There was some confusion with the initial room booking. One of the owners suggested we stay somewhere else which was not a pleasant experience after a long day of traveling. It was eventually sorted out thanks to the local road staff and the rest of our stay went well.
• Valrie (10/5): A Heartwarming Stay in Marrakech - My mother and I had the most wonderful stay at Riad Rafaele! The location is absolutely perfect, a bit hidden from the rustle and bustle of the medina but simultaneously situated within a short walking distance to most of the main attractions and popular restaurants. The neighborhood was also perfect for stumbling upon all sorts of souk gems. But by far the best part of staying here was the warm welcome and daily accommodations provided by the staff and hotel owners. My mother and I have never felt safer and more well taken care of at another hotel and for that we are very grateful. Thank you Riad Rafaele for a setting the sweetest tone for a trip of a lifetime!

• Catherine (10/5): Exceptional stay in the heart of the historic medina - Extremely beautiful building - even better than the photos! Great location, right in the medina and very close to the souks and major tourist sites. My room was very comfortable and stylishly decorated with Moroccan design touches; the bed also deserves a shout out, I slept very well. The hotel also has a rooftop where you eat breakfast, and with gorgeous views. I cannot say enough good things about the staff who were all super friendly and helpful - they helped me arrange transport and were always available on whatsapp if you needed them. I used the hammam which was also excellent. Will definitely be back! Water pressure was a little low but this is to be expected in the medina and wasn’t a problem. Visitors should note that they do not currently serve alcohol but they offer tea, coffee, other drinks when you want them.
• Szilvia (10/5): Riad Rafaele is a beautiful haven with exceptional service, where the attentive staff make you feel like family. - Our stay at Riad Rafaele was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family by the incredible staff. The three main hosts (apologies for not knowing the exact spellings of their names) were particularly outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. The staff were incredibly attentive, available day and night to look after us and make sure everything was perfect. The Riad itself was a beautiful and peaceful haven amidst the bustling city, but it was the warmth and dedication of the team that truly made our stay unforgettable. We cannot recommend Riad Rafaele enough and look forward to returning in the future!

The staff are incredible. Houssein was amazing, giving up so much of his time to add a map on our phones with locations of where to go and what to see. He was always a bubble of joy. Ibrahim and Roudiane shared their knowledge of the city. They couldn’t do enough for the guests. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We will be back. • Jill (8/5): Beautiful riad, located in a excellent location. With fabulous staff & surroundings within the Riad. - The staff at the property are simply excellent. The service they offered matches any other top hotel in the world. Nothing is too much trouble.The ladies in the spa offered wonderful treatments, making you feel renewed and relaxed. The menu is simple, don't be fooled by that. The food is excellent and well worth the wait. The room we stayed in was ok. however, it was also located by the door to the roof so could be noisy. Note to other guest. I have extra sensitive hearing so I do not think it would bother anyone generally. It's also the walk way for the smokers, so they pass at night and can make a right racket. Apart from that theres nothing not to like.

The staff is amazing and always goes the extra mile to accommodate. The bedrooms are large, clean and welcoming and the massages very needed after a long day walking in the Souk.
