Guest Reviews
- Cynthia (7/5): -
- Trinanjana (7/5): Quiet slightly old fashined ski lodge - Quiet place, unique structure of the lodge, very good breakfast spread, quite a few good restaurants nearby in Driggs area. The room is very small, barely enough place to move around the bed, lacks some basic amenities such as a tv or hair dryer.
- Chad (10/5): -
- Anastasiia (10/5): -
- Aria (7/5): Good option, room for improvement - modern facility with log style charm and beautiful style. Clean and modern rooms. Flexible and easy check in. The breakfast was of the lowest quality we have experienced - we ended up not eating it, and cooking ourselves out of our RV (and so did our friends).
It looked like we were going to get a river room when booking, but ended up with a road view room. Maybe they mean river OR mountain view and the mountains are behind the road?! We didn't see the mountains due to low visibility. Either way it felt misleading. The rooms on one side of the tipi face the river, and on the other side they face the road.
- Peter (10/5): - Sehr originelles Konzept, Platz zum Wohlfühlen!
- George (10/5): …. it was very nice and I’m looking forward to returning. - … very comfortable… very nice leisure area in the center of the facility.
- Cheri and Daniel (10/5): - The owners are very friendly and it was fun to stay in this unique place.
- STEPHANIE (10/5): Perfect! - It was beautiful, peaceful, and in a great location. It was raining when we arrived and the fireplace in the common area was so cozy. We drove through Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming and this was my favorite part of the trip. Owners are so friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back!
- Louis (10/5): - The premises were impeccably clean. Every inch of every room was spotless. The owner Alma couldn't have been more accommodating. I am always cold and she provided us with a space heater for our room and asked several times if we were comfortable. Its an unusual set up in that the rooms are set up in a circle, three steps down into the room and all open up to the lounge area. There is a gorgeous fireplace that they started up our last day there. They also have a bar that is not serviced but Alma told us we were welcome to use any of the glassware, service items, etc. The loft with a view of the Tetons is a perfectly quiet place for a glass of wine (your own) after a day of hiking. I also have to mention the flowers and landscaping outside. It is spectacular! I highly recommend!
- Peter (10/5): - Unusual design with guest rooms circling a central meeting place with a fireplace, comfortable chairs and couches. There is a recreation and exercise room, along with board games for guests to entertain themselves. Breakfast was continental (no hot food) with delicious muffins, fresh fruit, juice, and hot beverages. It was an excellent. If you are looking for a comfortable, relaxing hotel that you won’t forget stay here.
- Jianyi (10/5): - Clean room, beautiful area
- John (10/5): - absolutely fantastic cabin much more than we expected
teton teepee is the most well kept place we have ever stayed
- Wayne (10/5): Amazing place and would stay again - From the time you arrive at the facility, if makes you feel relaxed, the view of the mountains, sound of stream and the fire pit was beautiful. One you enter the lodge it gives you that "home" feeling, with the beautiful indoor fireplace / circular sitting area. The rooms are very nice, NO distractions; TV, radio, just the other guests that make this place a gem. People talking to each other as if they were life time friends, which for me was relaxing. Breakfast was standard, but it had everything to accommodate ones expectations. The STAFF were awesome --- Yes I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy life for couple days or so. Didn't stay long enough
- Xiao-Peng (10/5): - Great place to relax
- Lainie (8/5): - Loved everything but how small the rooms are.
- Delbert (10/5): - Most unique
- Kirsten (8/5): Nice Place - The facility was nice and the amenities were good. Loved the common area to play games, read etc... The dog was a bonus. Breakfast was yummy (fruit salad amazing). Nice to have the creek & fire pit outside. Rooms were a little small and there is not much area for bathroom supplies (counter space). Beds were small for us tall people (our feet hung way over the end).
- abe (10/5): - The atmosphere of the place is great
- Michael R (10/5): - A unique setting and layout with a common area ski lodge feel and a wonderful staff!
- Trang (10/5): Unique Stay - This was by far one of the most unique and must stay when visiting the Grand Tetons. We thoroughly enjoyed the community guest experience that it offered and the decor was well curated. Alma the owner was lovely and personally greeted us to run through the amenities. The daily free continental breakfast was also surprisingly good with a wide selection of fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt and juice. It was also a quick 10-15 minute drive to Driggs for dining. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone!
- sean (10/5): - AMAZING place to stay! Loved the concept of the rooms all around the GREAT room. The owners were so nice and inviting. Had great outdoor space and the large room was so comfortable and a wonderful place to meet and chat with other travelers. The breakfast was SO GOOD! So many options all fresh and many homemade items. Out of our 10 day vacation this was the best place! Honestly - this is somewhere we will remember and talk about always! Such a cool concept and place!
- Venu (10/5): - Wonderful place. Warm, cozy, has everything you need, large cozy central area, small but very clean rooms. Probably not good for small children. Parking lot tends to get full quickly. Great staff. Great views of the Grand Tetons from the west side. Very close to ski areas on west side. About 1.5 hours (thru mountain pass) to Grand Teton National Park, about 3 hours to Yellowstone south entrance.
- Phyllis (10/5): - It is a wonderful place that is serene and unique. Accommodation were wonderful, breakfast was delicious. It’s a great place to stay!
- Jimmy (8/5): A partial satisfied customer - Our stay was very good with good location, ease of check in, clean room/bathroom, and clean comfortable bed. The only problem we encountered was the heat in the bedroom did not work. The floor heat in the bathroom & sink area heated sometime in the night which helped raise the temperature in the bed area.
- Kenneth (10/5): - I can't express enough the wonderful experience we had staying at TTL. Everything was super clean, and the lodge itself is very inviting and relaxing. We sat outside and had breakfast in the lodge in our PJ's and felt totally at home. Beds are comfortable, and the layout makes it all work. The staff is friendly and keep the place immaculate.
- Tim (10/5): - Unique place, very relaxing.
- Robert (10/5): - This is a great place to spend quiet time with your spouse or take the opportunity to meet new people and share stories. I was skeptical about no air conditioning in the rooms or the lodge, but it was very comfortable. The location is not convenient to access the National Parks in the area, but I would characterize the lodge as a destination spot itself. It is a great place to get some rest and do some self reflection looking out at the mountains or by the running creek. Lizzy was also a great surprise, she is the nicest, gentlest dog you will ever encounter.
- robert (10/5): - Perfect!
- Meagan (10/5): - Great location
- Wendy (10/5): - It was really a fun experience. What a throwback. Clean and comfortable. A little far from the park but worth it.
- Sue (10/5): - A very unique place to stay! Built in the 70’s, this old ski lodge has everything from pool table to board games, to breakfast on real plates and matching coffee cups/saucers. There’s no dishwasher but this is a testament to the best hospitality around! The host and employees go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect! We loved talking w this young owner about taking a chance when they bought this tired hotel and have invested their life in it. It shows!!! A job well done! Hope u see the bear, I missed him.😃
- sean (10/5): - 1st rate service and accommodation . Setting was amazing and staff brilliant . It is cleaner, more comfortable and better service than most star rated hotels
- David (7/5): - Common area The noise at night from the facility equipment outside.
- Paul (10/5): Great neat place to stay - It was a neat and unusual place with a lot of character. The breakfast was very good and the owner was very helpful and nice. Nothing
- Pedro (9/5): Amazing, comfortable stay. - The owners/hosts were very nice. The Teepee structure style is amazing and feels very cozy. Plenty of games and stuff to do inside. Amazing breakfast. Everything was great, but a little investment in better pillows would go a long way !
- Walter (10/5): -
- Glendacile (10/5): - Most fun place we stayed on a 10 day trip out west
- Ayushi (10/5): -
- Andriani (10/5): -
- Janet (10/5): - We loved the remote location and unique style of the lodge. Alma and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. The creek behind the lodge was so peaceful.
- Tamara (10/5): - Great hot coffee! The rooms are very small and no TV. But very pleasant location
- Nicole (10/5): - We LOVED the teepee! We arrived late but our key and instructions were waiting on us. The room was small but perfect, very clean, quiet, and had a comfy bed! This was a unique stay that was fantastically maintained! We wished we would have been here for the entire stay versus down the road and will absolutely stay here again on the next trip! Amazing place!!
- Wendy (10/5): What a great place - What a find! We will definitely be back, clean, friendly, and helpful. One of the best continental breakfasts we have ever had.
- Cheryl (8/5): - Unique common area. A little inconvenient to have to leave room for tv and microwave, but good for meeting other guests. Staff very helpful and friendly.
- Karen (10/5): - This property is absolutely beautiful-inside and out. There are outdoor seating areas; including some by the creek. The inside of the Lodge is comfortable, cozy, up-dated, just wonderful. The breakfast is fabulous with coffee, tea, fresh cut fruit, homemade muffins, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal...just about anything you could want.
- Jadwiga (10/5): - This is beautiful spot, very unique, family own lodge. Situated by nice creek with great mountain view. You can fill like at home. Delicious continental breakfast and very friendly staff. Alma is always welcomed and very happy.
- Cathy (10/5): - We were welcomed by the manager/owner. The check in was very quick and well explained. We were given advice to restaurants in town as well as tour directions. Super friendly and helpful. The lodges is well kept and very unique. A very different experience vs hotels yet pleasant.
- KARINA (10/5): - Great cozy and pretty well maintain ♥️
- Ming (10/5): - We spent a night at this hotel, the only issue we had is without AC, it could be pretty hot during the hottest day in August, and the fan that is provided in the room is not enough to cool it down, because the bedroom is actually half below the ground, and the circulation is not good enough. Except for this, everything in this hotel is pleasant. It's more like a B&B rather than a hotel. The owner is super friendly, and let us rent the bear spray for a few days for $5 per day even if we only stay here for one night (we return it on our way back home). The common area and the overall vibe is the best of all the hotels in the entire Yellowstone/Grand Teton trip. The included breakfast is delicious. The owner set up a campfire in the night, and guests sit around there talking about the things in their trip. It provides us very special memory for the trip.
- Zamir (10/5): - Nice and cozy lodge in a great location near Grand Teton National Park. The lounge is warm and inviting, with shelves of books, board games, and a crackling fireplace that makes it feel like home. Outside, you can relax around another fireplace or sit by a charming little brook—I loved spending quiet time there. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options; my mom especially enjoyed the fresh fruit medley. Overall, it’s the perfect mix of comfort, charm, and convenience—a place I’d happily return to.
- Karyne (10/5): - We loved everything about the lodge! What a unique place and absolutely loved getting to know other guests. Highly recommend this place and hope to come back again!
- Rupert (8/5): Unique facility, beautiful setting. - Unique circular chalet building, with a towering chimney in the center of the main room. Good breakfast. If you have kids or it’s raining there are plenty of game rooms. The rooms are all located off the “great room” main space, below main floor level, which caused my wife to wake up in the night feeling claustrophobic. It’s a bit like being on a boat.
- William (10/5): -
- Kim (10/5): - Love this place💗💗💗
- Doug (10/5): - This unique property was spotless and the star gazing opportunities were amazing! Much cheaper option for visiting Grand Teton vs staying in Jackson.
- Kailun (8/5): - Self check in. Overall nice place.
- Jiawei Xia (10/5): -
- Ivanna (10/5): Cozy and cute lodge with nice mountain feel to it. Easy check in and out - Very comfortable, clean, has a large common area with piano, huge fireplace, sitting areas, tea/coffee station, bar.
Would definitely stay again
Close to Grand Teton NP with a scenic drive. Likes everything
- Kimi (8/5): - Beautiful facility however the room was super small. Host and staff were pleasant. It’s an hour to get to anything, hiking, food, shopping. I guess that’s par for
The area though.
- Jim (10/5): - Good!
- Janet (7/5): -
- Christian (7/5): -
- Kimberly (10/5): Fabulous spot - The teton teepee lodge was absolutely fantastic. I will definitely stay again if im in the area. Highly recommend to all. The breakfast in the morning was the icing on the cake.
- James (8/5): - Location and plenty of things to do on property. Definitely not ADA accessible and would cater more to a younger crowd.
- Caleb (10/5): Three C’s: Cozy, Clean, and Comfortable - This lodge was super cozy and comfortable. It offered plenty of activities, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was clean, and I was nervous about the no ac in the beginning, but the small fan that was provided in the room was plenty with the open window.
- Art (9/5): Stay was good. Room a little small and breakfast was just okay. - Breakfast was okay. Location was great. Larger room.
- Runkai (6/5): location takes more than one hour from Teton park - it's great for traveler who would enjoy a huge public living room. the location is far away from Teton park actually and room size is small although the public living room is huge.
- Bartosz (9/5): -
- Gary (10/5): - Very unique property
- Timothy (10/5): - The Teton Teepee Lodge is a unique gem! We absolutely loved our stay and thought it was a cozy and inviting hotel! The hosts Alma and Dan are extremely welcoming and ensured that our stay was perfect. They told us about their journey in acquiring and renovating the lodge and you can see the care that they have put into every detail. It's definitely a different kind of experience and we would absolutely recommend the lodge to anyone visiting the Teton National Park. It's a little bit of a distance to the park, but well worth it!
- Ruoning (10/5): - A wonderful place to stay. It’s so pretty, and there’s a lot of things to do here.
- Carla (9/5): Relaxing stay around pleasant surroundings. - Clean, comfortable, away from cities.
- Plaisance (10/5): Short but sweet - We didn't have a long enough stay to truly enjoy the accommodations.
- Christopher (10/5): We Loved The Teepee! - We didn't know where we were going to stay. We'd not made a reservation. I hopped on Hotels.com and saw the Teton Teepee had 1 room available, so I grabbed it. And I'm SO glad I did. We had a blast. The staff and property are both amazing. I love the retro 70's ski lodge vibe. And the grounds are wonder. Loved the flowers and sitting by the river.
- Rebecca (10/5): Terrific stay! - I feel lucky that we happened to choose the Teton Teepee Lodge for our stay! The lodge and grounds are beautifully maintained and serve as a place of connection and rest. Breakfast was terrific and healthy. We got great recommendations for activities from the owners.
- Debra (10/5): - That it was very quiet and in a beautiful location.
- Mostafa (8/5): Very good - We liked the vibe of lodging. It was my unique experience in teepee style lodging.
- Thomas (10/5): - Really, really unique property
- Kadri (10/5): - Cute room. Clean and comfortable.
- Barbara (10/5): - Beautiful ski lodge of the 70s, impeccably maintained. Delish coffee and breakfast, lovely outdoor seating near the Teton Creek, we loved it. THANK YOU for preserving this beauty of a property! We were honored to stay there.
- Richard (10/5): Perfect place in Nature to Unwind - Lovely property inside and out. Driggs is a great town. The large room on the main level is just beautiful. Hearing the river run right near the property as it lulls you off to sleep. The firepit outside sitting with guests drinking wine was so nice. Proximity to National Parks. Nothing
- Linda (9/5): Superb - Very fun place - Would go back!
- David (10/5): - The configuration of the property (TP style) made it very unique. Social gatherings were almost a prerequisite because of the build.
- HANNAH (10/5): - I was worried because we arrived after office/desk hours. Everything was left for us and simple to understand. Property is great and bed was incredibly comfortable.
- Beatriz (10/5): - I wasn’t expecting to like this place as much, the owners are so friendly and helpful showing you where to go while there, restaurants to go and special beautiful places around. The hotel is filled with details that show how much love the owners put in that place. The flowers, the creek on the side is so beautiful. We even got to see a small bear. I will go back to that place some day soon, we felt in love with EVERYTHING there!
- christine (10/5): - The building is unique. With the common area right off our room it was quiet. Host is friendly and helpful.
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jimmy (10/5): Tee pe in the tetons - Very unique and fun place to stay. Continental Breakfast is excellent. All rooms are on the perimeter of a large common are where guests enjoy the very large fire pit or visit and play games. There is a pool table and fuzz ball for guests to enjoy.
- Chris (10/5): Very cosy, will def come back!! - Amazing breakfast, great location, hosts were very helpful
- Edward (10/5): - awesome breakfast!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Smaller in size but great place to stay. Wish staffs were available in the front desk for questions but dint see them any time of the day the whole time we stayed there.
- Joong-geon (2/5): Very poor - It was Ok. All night long Generator? or fan running sound with door squeaking kept us wake.
- Nabarun (8/5): Very good - Nice location. An hour drive from Teton/Jackson hole. Clean rooms and bath, nice staff, breakfast. Can add little more variety on the breakfast.
- Sachin (8/5): - Great for two people but if you are traveling with kids it’s not very convenient for sleeping due to small rooms and beds. But kids love the game room and overall experience.
