• Sightseer27263392073 (10/5): Wonderful but to short of a visit - We booked a night on New Years eve December 31 2025. Once we arrived at Collins Inn and got to our room, we were very happy to see the Jacuzzi Suite. It was not only very clean, it was very much like being at home with its decor and beautiful layout. The fire place in the living room. the up to date kitchen, Jacuzzi tub in the bedroom all come together beautifully. The only problem was that we did not arrive until after dark so we could not enjoy the BBQ patio area in the back. My suggestion is get there early and book a trip long enough to take in all of the amenities Collins offers.
• nbruceh (10/5): Quite romantic getaway - My wife and I stayed at Collins Inn, Wine Room end of September for one night, then again for two nights 3rd weekend of October in the Sonora Room. The Inn is beautiful, clean and has good amenities, My wife always brings sheets form home as she never trusts the cleanliness of bedding. This is the only place where she feels safe to use the bedding. As we visited in the off season, weather is cool and wet, the fire place is not only romantic but provides additional heating. Floors are heated so easy to walk on barefooted. Showers are king size. They are very responsive to text messages or any in person questions, or during normal business hours. Highly recommend

The cottages are perfect for a nice long weekend or if you are lucky enough to stay longer. You are close to the beach, restaurants and the grocery store. It's a fun place to spend with your family especially the furry ones. Thank you Rose & jim for a wonderful place to stay and make memories. I definitely recommend the Collins Inn Ocean shores !!

It’s really a beautiful curated home with a decor that takes your breath away. We have several pictures but I feel it’s not necessarily far to shame a place that is just trying to make a living.

Separate cottage, quiet with private parking. Everything you need and more. Bed & Couch are both very comfortable. Full kitchen with lots of space to store your items. Plenty of room for a family of 3-4 + their pet. Very clean and appearance is new. This is definitely a huge step above a hotel room. A full drawer of coffee pods and bags of popcorn just waiting to be used. GREAT PLACE TO STAY!

• Melissa (8/5): - It was very nice! It’s like a bed and breakfast without the breakfast. The other review was correct it’s not really a continental breakfast. There was a microwaveable breakfast burrito in the fridge. In the hall there was bananas, oranges, oatmeal, granola bar, and packaged muffin tops. I was expecting eggs or something. The room was very nice and clean. Quiet experience which is what we were looking for. It was in a nice quiet part of town. The room was a bit cramped with how much is in the room. I couldn’t stream, so we were stuck with cable that had nothing on really. WiFi didn’t work well but wasn’t a big deal to us. Overall it was very nice and would come here again.

The kitchen had everything that you would need for food preparation. I will most certainly go back and highly recommend it if you are looking for a fun, family place to stay by the Washington coast.
• Lovettavel1 (8/5): A very peaceful stay.... - This B&B stood out as the best option during our research. The surrounding is very peaceful. The room is exactly as it is advertised on the website. The highlight is sitting in the big tub, enjoying a cup of coffee and watching all the deers grazing outside of our window. While we appreciate the selection of fruits, granola bars, instant oatmeal and muffins on the landing in the hallway, we were surprised by the packaged microwavable breakfast in the refrigerator. We wonder if this is the residual effect of the pandemic. One of the highlights of staying at a B&B is having a homemade breakfast, however simple. It would have been lovely to be in the beautiful dining room downstairs and have a sit down breakfast. Nonetheless, we appreciate the hospitality extended to us by the inn keepers Rose and Jim.

It was so cold we had to wear our heavy winter coats plus put a bkanket over us to keep warm. Still waiting for our promised refund. Ridiculous to rent this out without adequate heat.

• Cindy (10/5): - Only bad thing was leakage from another room made our extinguisher go off and chirp all night and we couldn’t reach it to just unscrew for noise. Other than that very nice Better to say this is off of Marina Drive as it was easier to find than with the street address
• Christine (10/5): The most home-feel space I've ever rented - Gorgeous property. Wonderful layout and well appointed. Very open spaces, modern kitchen and many small touches for comfort and relaxation. It's a perfect small home - I could live here!

• jeggl (10/5): WOW! - We expected a suite and got an apartment! Gorgeous place to stay and we really regretted only having one night here. Massive living room / kitchen area with a comfy sofabed. Big bedroom with a fantastic jacuzzi tub in the corner. Deer outside and close to the beach. We'll be back!

• catherinesI4528VZ (8/5): Very nice cottage in a great location - First time to Ocean Shores so had no expectations of the area. Booked a cottage because we didn't know what kind of space we needed for our visit. Glad we did as having a full kitchen and refrigerator was a bonus, plus some walking around room. Our cottage was really too large for two people; more suited for a small family (note that the king bedded room upstairs and the one with twin beds are in the same space). The only bathroom was downstairs and held the full-size laundry machines. We opted to use the queen bedded room downstairs so we didn't have to navigate the stairs at night. Kitchen was well appointed with two kinds of coffee makers. There were plenty of extra throw blankets for couch naps. A shoe brush scraper outside the door kept the sand where it belongs. Only feedback: please use unscented cleaning products for those of us with sensitive noses; more ice trays (filled) in the freezer; instructions on how to operate the TV and what channels are available. Fresh cookies was a nice touch. This is an easy location for exploring the beach across the road; Oyhut village; kite flying; and getting to the main town. Lots of good food here, too.

• Jody (10/5): - This property was adorable. Inside we did find an old cat food tray under the recliner that was missed during cleaning but everything else cottage was and cleanliness outside was amazing. Challenge for us was parking at out cottage. Get too many vehicles in there that may be trucks and there is a problem. Not much room at all to maneuver and we had to park out by the office. Would have been a bit frustrating in the rain and if someone had to do more trips to the vehicle.
• janets99 (10/5): Lovely romantic also family oriented place to stay in quiet convenient area - We stayed in the Collins Suite for a weekend honeymoon. The whirlpool tub was very nice, the bed was comfortable, the rooms were large and it was nice to have continental breakfast included. The hosts were very gracious and kind. We thought the room would be on an upper level, but was just a couple of steps up from street level. Next time we might try a second floor room and see if there is a bit more of a view. We did have a peek a boo view from the Suite. Great location for walking on trails, to the beach, and to a couple of restaurants. In a quiet part of town.

• H2987WKmelanieh (10/5): Second time as wonderful as the first - We've stayed here twice now, once in the inn and once in a cottage. Both times were absolutely wonderful. The inn is so beautifully decorated and the chocolate chip cookies that are readily available are amazing! The rooms in the inn are all themed and are so charming and the cottages are great for larger groups. The owners are friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable for the location. It's also lovely to be farther away from the main area yet so close to the ocean. We definitely plan to be back for another visit.
