Guest Reviews
- Amie (6/5): - It was quiet. Located near things we needed. Pizza box still in the fridge. Fruit in the drawer and a sweater in the drawer. So basically they don't check things very well.
- Lisa (9/5): - Very cozy. Had mimi fridge and microwave.
- Juana (10/5): -
- Takahashi (9/5): - Clean and simple Some water was still coming out of the tub spout in shower mode
- Mayra (10/5): -
- Guadalupe (6/5): -
- Yolanda (10/5): I plan on staying there whenever I find myself in Anaheim - The rooms are nice and clean and Management is very accommodating. I have stayed there on multiply occasions and my stays have always been comfortable
- Reyes (1/5): - The pool was clean. Everything. The place is filthy, the floors look like they never get mopped. The walls never get wiped. The curtains have cigarette burns. And I believe a family member stays in the rooms, and he was peeping at my window and scared my children.
- Alyssa (4/5): -
- DOROTHY (7/5): Affordable and Comfortable - Clean and comfortable. Property needs some paint in rooms.

- Krista (8/5): Check in was a breeze, the stay was peaceful, and check out was also a breeze. - It’s cozy and comfortable. Parking was a breeze. There are some areas where touch ups could be completed.
- Angel (1/5): Do yourself a favor and stay far away. - Nothing. The place was boarded up and nasty. We left ASAP. The room was permeated with intense cigarette smoke with area that stayed in our hair and clothes once we left and had burn marks the furniture and curtains. There was a pornagraphic sticker on the wall. Ohh yeah someone took down the fire alarm and apparently part of this place had burned down. There was tagging on the dresser and carved into the mirror.
- Julio (1/5): I should get a refund and a very extensive appology for the worst unimaginable service ever - There was a plate with old food and big fat worms in it
It smell like a death body was in the room
Staff did not clean at all
Worms were crawling all over the place
Not a trash can was available
A/C was not working
- Carmona (10/5): Very nice stay - It is quite close to food and liquor store rt across the street super clean rooms the bed was so comfortable and the pillows were amazing! The size of the room was good 🤗 forgot to mention shower is amazing as well! No cups or ice bucket other than that oh yes could turn on the heat 🤷🏻♀️ but not a big deal
- Zepeda (3/5): - No comment
- Zamora (10/5): -
- Melina mestas (5/5): - Location Extremely worn down with graffiti in drawers, the smell of rooms lingers with cigarettes and the carpet was disgusting. This hotel needs a lot of help
- Angel (10/5): -
- Eduardo P. (9/5): I would bring - Nice and calm Lots off traffic
- Willbert (1/5): Worst experience, halfway home might be better. - The parking Didn’t like 99% of the place. the place has to be worst in the world! The walls & drapes had graffiti, the carpet felt disgusting, had to wear shoes or sandals all the time, and the curtains had cigarette burns and smelled like cigarette, and last, the sink didn’t work, boiling hot water came out. I would stay somewhere else for $100
- O'Connor (2/5): Kona Anaheim Poor Conditions - Rates were reasonable. Cleanliness was very poor, carpet was dirty, ripped, and what looked like burn spots. Towels were stained. Chairs were ripped and had graffiti on the fabric. No way to control air conditioner, no thermostat. Ice machine is rusty.
- Nancy Adriana (5/5): -
- John (10/5): -
- Melissa (2/5): - The room was disgusting. I killed several roaches inside the room. There was graffiti INSIDE the room. It was filthy. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from the other rooms. I did not feel safe at all. Would definitely NOT recommend ever.
- Alejandro (10/5): -
- Anh (9/5): -
- christopher (10/5): Perfect for our needs. - Great retro sign. Friendly staff. Good prices. Everything was good.
- Airee Harris (10/5): -
- Galaviz (1/5): Horrible - Nothing only the location was good. Bathroom had mold the mini fridge was rusted out and the paint was chipping in the bathroom from the mold.
- Arturo (7/5): -
- Vickie (3/5): Old, smelly, but cheap rooms - Free parking and price Non-smoking room but room smelled strongly of stale smoke and was musty. I had to sleep with a mask on and still woke up with a sore throat. I left my clothing and bag in the car rather than bring it in the room because the smell was so strong. Ice machine was broken. Waited at check-in desk almost 10 minutes before someone showed up to give me a room (rang bell, even called hotel's phone number but no one answered). Lights in room flickered on and off.
- Edgar (7/5): Good hotel - Good hotel a little pricey for the area and not much to do around there but we just stayed one night.
- Thomas (1/5): Bad -
- Jeremy (10/5): Great stay - The managers are wonderful people accommodating and helpful Nothing
- Stevanus (8/5): Very good -
- Raven (10/5): Cute place to stay, friendly staff - I didn't catch his name, but the front desk staff was incredibly kind and friendly! He made us feel welcome, and was amazing with every question and request we had. He was always available and felt like we had the support we needed. The beds were sooooo comfortable. We would fall asleep in one position, and wake up still in that position! That's how comfortable the mattresses were! The window AC unit worked great at keeping us cool, and the hot water was impressive! It stayed hot for all of us to shower one right after another, and the shower had good water pressure, too. We left to go to Disneyland, and came back to extra soaps, toilet paper, beds made, etc. The area has a ton of things close by. Pizza, other fast food, convenience stores, Walmart, Target, etc isn't too far of a drive either. I would absolutely stay here again, and plan to the next time we go to Disneyland! Soon, hopefully! I suppose the area the hotel is located in can be a little intimidating at night, but we didnt have any issues.
- Dawn L (8/5): - The property was clean but messy at the same time. There was a fire damage to the building that was obvious the room I was staying in was patched up and not repainted but an overall good no frills hotel nothing special nothing to extravagant with what I needed for a place to sleep for the night
- Priscilla (4/5): - The room kinda stinks
- Dennis (10/5): Was a very good stay - The bed was amazing the shower pressure was excellent and while we were out the room was cleaned excellent service definitely stay again Well the place was a little out dated but still no complaints
- Anderson (5/5): Comfortable for one night stay -
- Jorge (5/5): Good just to sleep - Afodable Location
- Sonia (9/5): Superb - The beds were very comfortable. The wifi was good. It was worn down inside motel room.
- Rheianna (1/5): Bad -
- Palomares (2/5): $50 over asking price for 3,4 am check in - They let me have a 3,4 am check in I didn't like that the security deposit is $50 which the man behind the counter only made me pay $30 He ended up charging me $150. $30 security deposit and $120 for the room. Like at 3 4 in the morning the night before I booked my room. And the rooms were only $70 online.
- Alejandro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tara (6/5): Pleasant -
- Salvador (1/5): Bad -
- Hailey (1/5): DO NOT COME HERE - Absolutely nothing. This was the worst place I have ever experienced. The fact that booking.com even represents this place is absolutely insane. It is a dirty, dilapidated dump. Very poor property management. Half of the building upstairs is boarded up from a building fire. There are so many damages that were in the room we saw alone, that I cannot imagine what the rest of the place looks like. The door to the room we got was clearly kicked in previously, and very poorly “repaired.” This place genuinely needs to be shut down. Disney people: DO NOT bring your family here. There was no talking to the assumed owner at the front desk. He mans the place by himself, and was the only person there to get help from in the 10 hours we were there. He gave us two different room keys at check in, and then blamed me when I told him that he gave me two different keys. He tried to tell me I told him the first room key didn’t work, which never happened. I only visited the office once to check in. I confirmed with him at check in, “211 on the first floor?” He said yes. I thought the number was off for the first floor, and of course, there was no 211 on the first floor. He double booked the room, I believe purposely. A person trying to check in came into our room at 4:30am. Scared the hell out of me. No security locks on the doors to prevent the door from being opened. The owner then opened the door without warning at 8am trying to see who was in the room. He didn’t know I wasn’t alone when I yelled at him for opening our room without warning. He very much so had ill intentions and tried to play it off like he didn’t when confronted.
- Krisha (8/5): Very good - Clean, bed was comfortable, Starbucks was only a block away so we could walk to get breakfast. I also really appreciated the free coffee/hot water available at the check in area. I was able to use the hot water to make oatmeal in the morning which saved me the expense of having to eat breakfast at a restaurant. Super fast and inexpensive Lyft ride to Disneyland from the motel location. No hair dryer. No hangers for your clothes either but fortunately the people at the front desk had some hangers they could loan me. There was someone there early in the morning running a very loud leaf blower that woke me up so this is not a place to stay if you want to sleep in.
- Noel (1/5): Refund - Nothing it’s so bad Everything… smells bad ..half of the rooms were burned down
- Emmanuel (9/5): All in all it was a nice stay and would recommend again. - The ice machine nearby is a cool extra accessory to have. Even aside from the fridge in the room it does have a level of class to be given a complimentary ice bucket for drinks even if it's just for fun. Additionally, the owner was straightforward and nice and an ATM being nearby is really convenient. Other hotels when asking for security deposit wouldn't have one nearby so I'm glad it was there. The staff is nice as well just ask for an extra towel or toilet papers and you'll have it, simple and easy as that. Just a bit of paint peeling off in the bathroom and a tiny bit of mold. But hey can't complain when the bathroom doesn't have a window for air circulation unless you keep the light on inside to have the ventilation on. Just natural thing to happen.
- Humberto (2/5): Stay away - Worst place ever those pictures lie the price for the night is overrated half of the building was burned down the room was so ewww I went and bought supplies to clean it and you can’t get a refund so your pretty much screwed
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The beginning of the building is all burned up . It was a horrible stay. Disappointing in every way. Walking up the stairs you can see mysterious stains everyway. The room was the only thing decent enough. The bathrooms have graffiti on them.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Would not stay again - Overall it was subpar and would not stay again. The room had been cleaned and was serviced each day but the furniture, carpet and fixtures were worn down and grimey; graffiti in the rooms, in the furniture and outside; and mattress had body indentations and was not comfortable. Biggest issue is there has been a structure fire and part of the building seems unsafe but is still being used. Our room was beside the damage and the walkway didn’t feel safe to cross.
- Manuel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Onditi (9/5): Affordable, easy to locate with spacious beds - Hospitable staff and quiet environment
- Qadir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dennis (1/5): I ended up sleeping in my car due to the cockroach infestation - Nothing Super dirty, smelled bad like someone sprayed cheap perfume to cover smell. Worst of all were the cockroaches in the room. This place is for bums
- Irene (6/5): - The room was clean enough and the bed was relatively comfortable.
- Khaled (1/5): Bad -
- Paul (8/5): - Surprising clean and spacious for the price. Would stay again
- Betancourt (1/5): Annoyed property manager who doesn’t want anyone outside. - It was close to Disney but everything is dirty and smells very horrible Horrible smell and bad customer service and they don’t clean well they’re just moving your things and grabbing. I throw garbage, everything is clean and they don’t even care… not recommended
- Goulet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alejandro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Audrey (6/5): Pleasant -
- Contreras (8/5): Good place - Good Price Loud neighbors the first night
- Daniel (1/5): I had to leave within first 30 mins - Nothing Had stains, blood on sheets, and had burn holes in bed need my money refunded
- Torice (1/5): Bad -
- Ryan (4/5): Disappointing - Because he was omly charging .people 80 and I. Paid112 dollars or so.ething Lome that
- Brisa (8/5): Very good - The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was not that clean, the carpet needed better vacuuming and they could have cleaned the bathroom door. Also, they need to paint their walls better.
- Ryan (7/5): Good -
- Michelle (1/5): It was horrible. I will never go there again. And booking should remove them from their list - Dirty, cockroaches, cable unatable
- Quinten (4/5): Cool if you just want somewhere to sleep for the night for a decent price. - Comfy bed.
Quiet.
Soda machine had extremely cold soda. TV didn't work.
Holes in the wall everywhere.
Carpet and bedding was tore up.
Pictures online were deceiving.
- Lisa (2/5): - no comment
- Camarena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kareem (4/5): Disappointing - It was a good location. It had a microwave and fridge. The carpet looked like it's never been shampooed. The cover looked old and torn. It just needs some better overall basic maintenance and touch-ups. Bring your own toiletries. There's no iron or hair dryer either.
- Dorothy (8/5): Reasonable and quiet - First impression is that it's very out of the way, dated furniture and in need of painting. But it's reasonably priced, clean and quiet. The beds are very comfortable with good linen and nice pillows. Overall, a bargain.
- Anissa (1/5): Bad -
- Alejandro (10/5): Exceptional - Best Place to stay! The best was the best and the service !
- Gladys (3/5): Poor - There was no air dryer looking like it was stolen
Ther no shampoo and conditioner for wash only 3 towels and there was a lot of noise all night I couldn't sleep. The manager was nice I would like my deposit back
- Gladys (4/5): Disappointing - There was no hair dryer it looked like someone stole it from the wall. I ended up canceling my extra day ... it was overpriced and a lot of running and noise from upstairs. I couldn't get much sleep.... th enot enough essential no breakfast ... wifi did not work... The manager has been very sweet.
- Ryan (2/5): - Overcharged for a small not very clean motel.
- Don (10/5): Had a great time! - Location was great for what we needed. Having a pool is always a plus. The rooms were very clean. No complaints!
- alyssa (2/5): - room was extremely dirty
- Lacy (9/5): Superb - All good Zero
- Lacy (9/5): Superb -
- Isha (2/5): - Service was so rude about pricing, no empathy whatsoever after a long night of finding a place to stay. After saying that prices were cheaper online versus his verbal price, he very rudely told me to “just book it online then, whatever” and left for 10 minutes while we waited for him to receive the booking.
The actual room was disgusting. It was hot and musty, the paint on the walls was peeling and scratched up. The furniture is from 40 years ago and it shows. The bedding is had burnt holes in it, and mysterious hard substances stuck on the pillow. The carpet had other mysterious sticky substances all over it as well. The refrigerator leaked all over the floor overnight, creating a huge puddle of water all over the bathroom area. Not to mention the giant bug in the corner of the wall, which we thought was dead, but disappeared over the night so no clue where that went. Absolutely disgusting place and would NEVER recommend.
- Ryan (3/5): Poor - The hotel was in the more dangerous part of the city and when we got there we felt unsafe to stay there, since the hotel looked a little run down and there was graffiti in the parking lot alongside very few cars in the parking lot, so we booked a different hotel.
- Ferhat (1/5): They took a deposit to enter and they did not refund the deposit, I would definitely pay a few dollars more to another p - their beds smelled so bad
- Maria (6/5): Pleasant - You can still see the graffiti that is inside the room. They need more paint to be fully covered. There was trash under the beds. We sprayed Lysol in the shower and next thing you know yellow crap was showing up in the shower after we sprayed it. There's only 1 way to go in and out of the motel. I used my debit card to pay the $50 deposit and never received my $50 refund. So please return that.
- Erica (10/5): we enjoyed ourselves, - i was not aware they had breakfast.
- Louisa (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent customer service and very helpful None
- alexanderdtriadvisor (8/5): Kona Inn Motel - My name is Alexander Delgado and I am going to college. My business at the motel was to finish my Fall semester classes. It went good for my I passed my classes was ok for me to stay at the motel to finish school.
- Anthony (1/5): Bad -
- Rick (8/5): -
Very well presented and helpfulness.
The only thing to note was the AC unit was noisy.
Definitely would stay again.
- Peter (6/5): Pleasant -
