Not enough lighting in the room to get ready and not accessible to get ready in the bathrooms either. If I was 50lbs heavier idk if I would even fit in the shower tbh and I’m not big.
• Sephen (8/5): Great sleep and a full stomach in the morning. - The management and staff were so helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was the most varied and comprehensive that I have had on my visit to America. Minor inconvenience but no in dedicated shower and toilet. Shared.

• Deborah (10/5): Great place to unwind after a hike - Wonderful hiker inn, clean, comfortable and peaceful. Met other hikers, of all ages. Great place to unwind for a couple of days after being on trail. The staff was great, and there is free laundry. Hostel vibe but with private rooms (or a bunk room if you prefer).

Perfect location for our family raft trip on the Kennebec. Especially enjoyed chatting with some AT thru hikers over breakfast. Would have liked to see a hammock on grounds.

• Mara (10/5): - Wir waren total überrascht von diesem Aufenthalt. Ursprünglich als Zwischenstopp geplant, hat sich der Aufenthalt als Highlight entpuppt. Das Haus selbst ist über 200 Jahre alt, liebevoll eingerichtet und total gemütlich. Unsere Gastgeber Sue und Bill haben alles dafür getan, dass wir uns wohl gefühlt haben. Die Zimmer selbst haben keine eigenen Bäder aber es sind genügend Gemeinschaftsbäder vorhanden, so das man gar nicht das Gefühl hat, dass sie nicht zum Zimmer gehören. Der Aufenthaltsraum, Garten und vor allem die große Veranda laden zum Verweilen und Entspannen ein. Die Gegend ist einfach wunderschön. Auf Empfehlung unserer Gastgeberin haben wir ein Lokal besucht, bei dem man Pool und Whirlpool kostenlos nutzen konnte. Das warme Frühstück, welches uns gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis zubereitet wurde, ist sehr zu empfehlen. Unbedingt machen! Nichts.

The breakfast was lacking. Just had cereal and bagels.. A breakfast sandwich or something hot would have been nice. Mattress was so hard- couldn't sleep

The common areas look very nice: piano, two living rooms, a bunch of movies…looks like a nice place to go a big group or share long evenings after dark. The host was correct although never looked to engage with the clients CAREFULL!!! SHARED BATHROOM!!!! the room was clean but nobody cared to clean the spiders and webs of the ceiling. Same in the common area, dead lady-bugs and flies everywhere
