Guest Reviews
- Mingyang (2/5): Not clean and staff was not good. - Big The bed sheet has blood stain and the bath towel had black stain. We talked with the staff and management and they denied its their issue and they are no willing to do anything to compensate this disgusting experience. The water pressure is very low and it takes long time to finish the bath. Overall unpleasant experience.
- Alan (10/5): excellent location expecially with private onsen - N/A better pillow choice
- Tanya (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location. Amazing hosts, concierge was fantastic. Everything was amazing.
- Jung (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leigh (10/5): Perfect get away. - Perfect location opposite first ski lift. Next door to ski hire and restaurants, indoor/outdoor onsen. Bus shuttle within 10 mins wait everynight to restaurants in same village, otherwise bus every 15 mins to get into main town for dinner, shopping etc. Beautiful accommodation.
- Muhd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (10/5): Wonderful home away from home after a full day of skiing - Lovely design Nothing
- Wimalin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fu (10/5): Exceptional - Good facility
- Callen (9/5): Superb -
- Louis (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect !!!!!!!
- Maarten (10/5): 10 out of 10 for everything! Amazing staff and concierge! - It’s a real full size house with kitchen, dining and living room. We can stay in our own house but use all the facilities in Green Leave which is ski-in and ski out. Amazing, dedicated concierge give us shuttles to restaurants and help to arrange our trip.
- Xiaoyun (8/5): Good value since we are a group of 3 families. - Well renovated, everything clean and comfortable
Staff very friendly and helpful
Concierge service is a happy surprise There are many bugs in the house (not sure if coming from outdoor or not) I got bug bites on my fingers
Wifi connection is poor
- Suzette (6/5): Love Japan, Hokkaido and will always return to Niseko/ Hirafu but will try other property next trip. - 1) The check in was quite seamless. Waited only a short while at the reception for the host. No keys or cards which is great, just a pass code, same one for the ski storage areas near the gondolas.
2) There is a drying room/coats room at the entrance. Love the tatami mat dining room
3) it’s a ski in/ski out property, super convenient!
4) comfortable transport is provided to move around Niseko village, bus to Hirafu town center. 1) Prior to our arrival there were no emails from the host to check on our arrival time or if we needed help to get to the property. Any questions sent to the customer service email, most times I’ve to send a reminder email before they would reply & no apologies when they finally do. In fact the replies were curt. Overall wasn’t pleasant to work with the team. No warm welcome. Vast difference from Kyoto, the crew was amazing though a 4 star boutique hotel.
2) we were in Kasara in 2019 & loved the place. Decided to return in 2023. However Kasara has lost its lustre
- 2-storey townhouse with 3 bedrooms en-suite toilets which is great for family of 4, with 2 grown boys. No lift, you’ll need to bring your luggage upstairs which is ok but no porter service or any offer of help so we did it ourselves.
- YTL is a luxury chain however small details weren’t there, basic hygiene matters. Eg not only did they not provide hand soap in kitchen, when I asked for one, answer given was they don’t usually provide but would accommodate me with one! They expect their guests to handle food without washing their hands with soap or to use dish washing as hand soap?
- property is getting a little old, chipped paint etc but not a big deal.
- official website to book the property doesnt work well. Tried to book several times, all dates were blocked out (even for next year) even though property available. This has been an issue since 2019. And because of that, I booked via booking.com and didn’t get the 20% discount on ski équipment etc which you do via official website. Asked if they could extend, I understand if they can’t as a policy but the reply was really curt.
3) as we were there in March, things are slowing down a little, restaurants opening hours unpredictable.
4) my son had a mild wrist fracture from snowboard accident. The help rendered was poor, did book an X-ray & doctor appointment slot in Hirafu but no follow ups if we needed more help.
- Manxu (8/5): Very good -
- Deborah (9/5): Superb -
- Neil (9/5): Superb -
- Li (10/5): homely and great service - comfortable stay with excellent customer service support nothing
- Donna (8/5): Good choice for the hotel - Overall is good ! But the water pressure so weak. It need to take more time for bathing. Room cleaning is really only make up the room not all the house. Things put on the kitchen, table ..... still put on the same place, haven't washed.
