Incredible staff, decent food with a lot of options. Very relaxing They don’t wash sheets clean, just tidy up, which gets a bit annoying after a few days of bringing in sand to the room. Bathroom has no A/C and gets super hot during the day.

Die lange am Strand ist einfach wunderschön. Man sitzt beim Frühstück wenige Meter vom Wasser entfernt. Die Anlage ist ein gepflegter Garten mit allerlei schönen Pflanzen. Ganz wichtig: es ist ruhig. Keine Party. Keine Proleten. Perfekt für Familien. Der Frühstücks/ Restaurant Bereich ist äußerlich etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

• Erez (4/5): Nice location - overpriced for what it offers. - Location was great, nice beach and in the center of the island so was very comfortable to explore from. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It was also super convenient to get a scooter directly from reception and kayaks to explore the mangrove area. For the price you pay - which was the most expensive in our trip - we expected the hotel to be way more high end. They did not have a pool, they charge you 3% when using your card to pay over priced items, the room was ok but very basic - with that I could live in peace.. the thing is that the shower in our room was really not ok with strange smells, mold on the wall, dated decoration, no light in the mirror area. Again, if the hotel was a third of the price it would be acceptable but for the premium price they charge it wasn’t fair.

Şezlong şemsiye sayısı artarsa yine sanki güzel olabilir. Bunlar ufak tefek sorunlar
• Nandi (6/5): Ok but not really worth the money - The staff was friendly and the massage ladies are very good The room was full of ants and they didn’t clean the room unless we specifically asked and even then, they didn’t sweep it so it was always still full of sand. There are only 10 sunbeds for the whole resort so you can’t really hang out there. The breakfast was not that nice. The bar didn’t have any cushions so there was nowhere to sit except on hard concrete.

• Mes.french (7/5): Kun okay - Vi havde værelse A1 med en skøn udsigt til floden. Virkelig lækkert. Beliggenhed er fin ved en smuk strand men der er ikke meget i området. Et par restauranter og en butik. Dejlig seng og badeværelse. Resorts er bygget flot og der er rent og pænt. Dejligt med fri kajak. Meget dyr og kedelig stranbar ingen hyggelige steder at side. Og alt slt for dyr !!! Restaurant ligeså, sjælløs og ikke noget st råbe hurra for. Morgenmaden er under middel. Vi spiste der kun en gang. Prisen for dette resort er alt for dyrt!! Stranden er fin men der er mange andre ligeså flotte på øen.

• Ben (9/5): - Beautiful location. Beautiful grounds and planting. It's great that you can arrive by speedboat directly at the hotel jetty. Staff were very present and attentive. The availability of complimentary tea/coffee/juice, toast and ice cream through the day was excellent. Our air con unit was difficult to control but didn't concern us too much. Some reviews have the hotel is run down, I disagree, the only area in need of attention is new coconut roofing on the restaurant and bar, but inside everything was nice.
• Arno (10/5): It is truely paradise. - We felt in love with the resort immediately. The staff is very sweet and helpful in every regard. The whole resort is incredible beautiful and designed with much love. The beach is very beautiful as well and provides much shade. The fire shows every two days were insanely poweful. We only drank once, but the cocktails from the bar have definitely to be mentioned as well. Also we can recommend everyone the to take a free kayak and make the trip up the river. The only problem was with the food. We are vegan and vegetarian and almost everything is with meat and sea fruits. But they staff was very helpful and we even bought things for us for breakfast. Also the restaurant Mermaid on the other side of the street has a huge variety of vegan and very delicious meals. So it completed the perfect experience for us.

Stunning sunsets. - Great location, stunning beach, safe to kayak, paddle board and snorkel, water crystal clear, friendly helpful staff. Rooms are lovely, clean and a peaceful environment, very relaxing. Loved the fact you could request your rooms to be cleaned at anytime during the day. Plenty of complimentary water and hot drinks 24/7. Food was delicious. Reception are happy to help with any query or request. The bar felt cold during the evening because the way the wind blew every night, it would have been nice to of had some sheltered place to chill with a drink and not feel cold. The Asian food was so tasty, but would have liked more variety for English breakfast.

Non c’erano luci da comodino/abat jour, solo quella grande della camera.

Er jo ein ferie plass så må jo rekene med litt dyrere men ikke det dobbelte meiner eg.
• Galit (6/5): זה היה הריזורט היקר ביותר שלקחנו בטיול הזה וזה אי שרוב הזמן אתה נשאר בתוך הריזורט. זו היתה אכזבה ענקית. קצת אפילו לא היה - מיקום המלון היה מעולה, יפה, שקט ומרהיב. הצוות בקבלה היה מקסים ונכון לכל בקשה אפילו בקשות מורכבות. כמו לנסוע עבורנו להחליף כסף כי אין מושג של מונית זמינה על האי. זה ממש לא מלון של 4 כוכבים. מגבות מיושנות, בסיס מינימלי במקלחת,מקלחת שממש לא גרמה לנו לרצות להתקלח . הרגשנו שזה גסטהאוס. ארוחת הבוקר היתה דלה באופן קיצוני. הישיבה סביב הבר בערב היתה לא נוחה. כיסאות חוף בכמות מוגבלת ביותר, ממש היינו צריכות להתעורר מוקדם על מנת לתפוס כיסא. מיותר לציין שכל התמונות שקיימות באתר המלון לא עדכניות כלל.

• R T (8/5): Misskött paradis - Fint koncept med trädgårdvillor, men det luktar avlopp och finns synliga rör som förstör illusionen. Fantastiskt fin strand, med strandstolar under palmer precis vid havet. Bra mat, trevligt men stor grupp av kineser som satt i annan del av restaurang en av kvällarna skapade en känsla av uppdelning mellan al a carte och paketresa. Bra eldshow. Fin ö, men det var svårt att hitta prisvärda boenden.

The staff was the best we've ever experienced. - Despite the overwhelming majority of negative reviews we read online, we had an absolutely wonderful stay at Peter Pan resort. We stayed in a room with the pool and a sea view, and it was incredibly clean, comfortable, and met all of our expectations. The staff at the resort was the nicest, most accommodating staff I've ever experienced. The hospitality should be a benchmark for all resort and hotel teams to aspire to. The breakfast was phenomenal, and the dining area had a gorgeous ocean view. We couldn't have been any happier with our stay here. Many online complain about the upkeep of the facilities, though our room and shared facilities were in great condition. The roofs of the buildings do show their age and haven't been maintained like the newer resorts, but other than that, we thought everything was wonderful.

• Samantha (5/5): Feel photos are misleading - The hotel is in a beautiful location. Free kayaks. I feel the photos on booking.com are quite misleading...yes the location of hotel is beautiful but the hotel is very tired looking and quite basic. There are not the bean bags dotted around to sit on as the pictures would show and there are 8 sunbeds...which people were putting towels on about 6am in the morning. There was no mirror in our bedroom, no bedside lamps, generally the facilities are very basic...I would expect this from a £30 per night room.

• stinedreier (10/5): Amazing hotel and beautiful beach - Amazing hotel and beach. We had three nights at peter Pan resort and it was an amzing stay. Perhaps the rooms was small but the restroom is so nice and there where fine space for the four of us. The beach was so crystal clear and we could borrow kayaks and go for a trip. It was amazing experience and we we can really recommend it.

• Dieter (6/5): - We booked this resort as the final stop of our 3 weeks of adventure. We wanted to spend 4 relaxing days at the pool, the beach, the bar, the rooms where we can just unwind & relax before going back to work. First disclaimer - there is no pool for you to use unless you book a room with private pool. Once we arrived it was immediately clear that this is not the place to relax or unwind. The rooms are not well looked after. Even with the challenging humidity you can look after your bathroom appliances properly - if you want to. Even if the hotel is not newly built or renovated, this is no excuse for what those appliances looked like. They just don't care enough. The room itself was spacious but lacked attention and love. After arriving, we went to the bar to have a drink and discuss on how to proceed with this situation. The staff at the bar were constantly in their phones and you had to actively call them in order to get a drink (we were sitting at the bar, not on the side). The cozy atmosphere you can see on the photos is not a thing at all. You find concrete benches without any cushions or beanbags like on the website. We soon decided to check out the next day and go back to Bangkok (as the island was fully booked). Once I approached the front desk and explained our situation they did not seem surprised at all and not like this was their first time hearing this. • Dorthe (8/5): Great location, average stay. - The location is the best thing about Peter Pan Resort. It’s right at the most wonderful beach! Really stunning. It was easy to rent scooters onsite to get to the nearby beaches. Not really value for money. The cabins are ok, but pretty run down. We expected more at that price. Breakfast was average and WiFi connection pretty bad. The staff was not super welcoming. Helpful when approached, though. Not worth spending the extra money for a canal view cabin. We were eaten up by mosquitoes. :-)
• Joost (2/5): Massive disappointment - The location The amount of money you pay and what you get for it in return is a crime. The room and bathroom smelled like a sewer. The bathroom looks like it comes stems out of 1975. Not what you would expect for a 4 star resort. I complained about the smell and it looks like staff was 'kind off aware'. They directly came in the room with a spray to clear up the smell. I complained again that this is a temporary fix, so they said they would send a mechanic. This is also the only solution they could provide since it's high season right now and all the rooms are fully booked like the rest of the island.
• Dana (10/5): - Das Personal war unfassbar freundlich, vorallem zu Kindern. Es gab den ganzen Tag Wasser, Tee, Kaffee, Saft, Toast und Eis. Es gab ein paar Restaurants in der Nähe, zu den anderen guten musste man so gute 20 Minuten laufen. Alles in allem, ein toller Aufenthalt!
• Marina (2/5): Extremely Disappointing – Overpriced and Run-Down Hotel - The only saving grace was the staff, who were incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful. They truly deserve recognition, but unfortunately, their kindness doesn’t make up for the overall poor condition of the hotel. We were extremely disappointed with our stay at this hotel, which absolutely does not justify its last-minute price of nearly €200 per night. Apart from the beautiful beachfront location, everything else was a letdown. The room was completely charmless, with no decoration and outdated, worn-out equipment. The bathroom was particularly problematic: limescale-covered plumbing, leaks around the sink, and poor finishing work—a clear lack of maintenance. On top of that, the sheets were damp and sticky, making it impossible to feel comfortable. Another unacceptable issue: some rooms at the back of the hotel, near the parking lot, were filled with a nauseating rotten egg smell. The food was also a major disappointment. Breakfast felt like cafeteria food, with extremely poor quality products. All the coffee was instant coffee from a machine, and the selection of non-alcoholic drinks was limited to Coca-Cola and Fanta. Even the beach, which should be a highlight, is poorly maintained, with fallen palm tree trunks spoiling the view. In conclusion, this hotel offers a shockingly low level of quality for the price. Avoid it unless it undergoes a complete renovation.
• Cornelis (8/5): - The place has a very good location at the sea and nearby other facilities. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The environment is beautiful with all the plants and flowers. But a small remark more sunbeds and the showers need cleaning from residu.
• Jonatan (10/5): Baren var bäst - Bra läge, en av tre bästa stränderna. Pool fanns inte för oss där vi kunde sola utom den var vid huset men man vande sig m stranden. Praktiskt bekvämt och framförallt bra bar i solen
• Laura (8/5): Very good - The location is amazing, the beach is just fabulous, it’s super quiet and relaxing and the view from the bar is gorgeous. The staff are lovely. Really nice, rustic place to relax - very few vegetarian options, absolutely everything has meat in it - please please reduce the use of plastic! I was really sad to be given a plastic straw with every drink. I was in India recently and even there it was only bamboo/metal/compostable cardboard. And same for water - everywhere I stayed in India had filtered water available for guests. I dread to think how many plastic bottles are used every day, week, year…

• kazunari (10/5): - ２方を遠浅で泳げる海と中型ボートの 船着場があり、ＯＰを含めて便利です。 海岸線で複数のホテルに行け、又、 外の道路には複数のレストラン、売店 があり便利なロケーションです。 海辺のタオル、部屋のペットウォーター も十分に配備され、コーヒーのフリー ドリンク、トーストも２２時迄あって 快適です。一晩おきに開催される ファイアーダンスも迫力ありです。 部屋も広くて良いですが、海に面している ためか、湿気が多く、マット、シーツが 湿っているので、その点が残念です。

DIRTY RUN DOWN HOTEL - Good location, free ice cream & coffee all day, free kayak rental & beach volleyball, scooter rental easy from front desk Hotel looked NOTHING like the pictures, VERY run down, dirty & drains smelt bad. We got put in a room which looked nothing like what we booked, we complained but the hotel was fully booked so we were unable to change rooms. We even tried to move to a completely different hotel as it was so bad but the whole island was fully booked. When we complained they seemed uninterested and gave no apology. The breakfast options were very limited. Everywhere looked like it needed a good scrub and clean. DO NOT fall for the pictures on here like we did!!
• Kevin (6/5): - There was a very bad smell of sewage. This overshadowed everything. Food choices for breakfast wasn’t great. Only sliced white bread available. The room we had was overlooked by 3 others so you couldn’t open your curtains without the possibility of a neighbour staring into your room. Not great.
• Austrian_traveler01 (6/5): Manage your expectations! - We booked this resort as the final stop of our 3 weeks of adventure. We wanted to spend 4 relaxing days at the pool, the beach, the bar, the rooms where we can just unwind & relax before going back to work. First disclaimer - there is no pool for you to use unless you book a room with private pool. Once we arrived it was immediately clear that this is not the place to relax or unwind. The rooms are not well looked after. Even with the challenging humidity you can look after your bathroom appliances properly - if you want to. Even if the hotel is not newly built or renovated, this is no excuse for what those appliances looked like. They just don’t care enough. The room itself was spacious but lacked attention and love. After arriving, we went to the bar to have a drink and discuss on how to proceed with this situation. The staff at the bar were constantly in their phones and you had to actively call them in order to get a drink (we were sitting at the bar, not on the side). The cozy atmosphere you can see on the photos is not a thing at all. You find concrete benches without any cushions or beanbags like on the website. We soon decided to check out the next day and go back to Bangkok (as the island was fully booked). Once I approached the front desk and explained our situation they did not seem surprised at all and not like this was their first time hearing this. We asked for a refund of the 3 nights we weren’t going to stay and they had to contact the head office in Bangkok as there was no one on premises that could make such a decision. The reception staff really tried their best though, nothing I can say about that. We had dinner at the hotel as we needed to plan our transport back to BKK and look for a hotel there. The food was good and but the drinks menu lacks choices of wines (only one white and one red wine). In the end we did stay 1 instead of 4 nights and after a bit back and forth received a refund of the remaining 3 nights. SUMMED UP: if you’re looking for a relaxing time and want to spend time at the hotel, choose something else. It’s not worth the money and you won’t be able to relax. If you’re happy with just a comfortable bed and a functioning (not comfortable) bathroom, this might be your place.

• Niklas (6/5): - Insgesamt eine schöne und sehr saubere Anlage, die etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Der positive Gesamteindruck wird durch ein paar negative Punkte geschmälert, wodurch schlichtweg das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht mehr stimmt. Die Apartments sind geräumig und sauber. Die Handtücher allerdings meist alt und fleckig. Und vor allen verursacht die Toilette einen fast durchgängig unangenehmen Geruch. Das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht. Spricht wenig bis gar kein Englisch. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist fast ausschließlich Fleisch- und Fischlastig. Für Vegetarier bleibt Rohkost, Salat, Obst und Ei. Sehr dürftig. Der Strand ist traumhaft, allerdings gibt es viel zu wenige Liegen, die schon morgens mit Handtüchern reserviert werden. Für mich unverständlich, dass das Hotel dagegen nichts unternimmt.
• Paul (10/5): Excellent location nice rooms and mediocre food. - Peter Pan Resort is in an excellent location with beautiful beaches and the ocean right at your doorstep. While there’s no pool, it’s hardly missed because of the stunning natural surroundings. There are restaurants nearby, making dining out convenient. The breakfast was simple, and the dinner was mediocre, so exploring local eateries might be a better option. Overall, a great spot for a beachfront getaway, with the ocean making up for any minor shortcomings! 5 star if not for the food.

On our last day some people arrived, who started using our private pool (shared with 5 rooms) with their whole community (even those who had booked normal rooms) and that was very nerving. They also started to smoke under our room and all the smoke came to our room.
• Mark (6/5): Disappointing considering the price and time and effort to get there. - Location was stunning. Masseuse was very good. Layout of apartments against gardens was lovely. We tried two rooms. The room on the first night we got little sleep as the air conditioner was playing up and spitting water on to the floor creating a slip hazard. We got moved to a different room of the same standard but aircon was good. However no compensation or upgrade for the first night. Both rooms looked tired. Cracks and chips in walls and ceiling not repaired. Where there had been patching, the repairs weren't painted over. A lot of Corrosion on fittings in bathroom. There was an odour of sewerage from the bathroom drain.

Peut être 2 points à noter : pas de piscine si vous n'avez pas loué de logement avec piscine privée et parfois compliqué de se faire comprendre (anglais approximatif mais le nôtre aussi). Mention spéciale pour la barman qui nous a fait découvrir le gin local et qui est vraiment adorable.

• 385virenders (2/5): Disappointing Experience at Peter Pan resort, Koh Kood - I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience my family and I had during our recent stay at your hotel in Koh Kood. We chose your establishment to celebrate a special occasion—a birthday—and booked a family room for this purpose. Upon our arrival, we were initially informed that we could use the swimming pool, which was a delightful prospect for our celebration. However, after just two hours, we were abruptly told that we could no longer use the pool. When we inquired about the reason for this sudden change, no clear explanation was provided. Instead, we were met with a very rude response and were told that we could check out if we wanted. Adding to our frustration, there was heavy maintenance work being conducted during our stay. We were not informed about this at the time of booking, and it significantly affected our experience. The noise and inconvenience were extremely annoying and far from what we expected for a relaxing birthday celebration. This response and the lack of communication about the maintenance work were extremely disheartening. We had high expectations for your hospitality, given the beautiful location of Koh Kood, but the treatment we received was far from what we anticipated. It was harsh and uncalled for, leaving a sour taste from what was supposed to be a joyous celebration. I wanted to bring this to your attention as I believe it is important for you to know about the experiences of your guests. I hope that no other guests have to face such treatment in the future. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I hope that improvements can be made to ensure better guest experiences moving forward.
• Johnson (7/5): We really enjoyed our stay and couldn't ask for a better location. - Location is excellent & staff are very friendly & helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was very enjoyable. The resident cat called "Euro" is adorable. The cleanliness of the room & bathroom was OK but can be improved on. The couch in our room needs a steam clean as it had quite a few dirty spots on it and didn't smell too "fresh".

• Cedric (4/5): Septical tank experience . - The resort is located on a beautifull beach . Really bad smell in the room , couldn't sleep 3 nights during my stay . My room was close to the septical tank , wich is a big issue because as soon as we had the AC turned on , the smell was coming inside the room . As thailand is very hot , we couldnt turn the AC off . Asked booking service to help me about it , they said they asked hotel staff to find a solution , no one even asked me about it . I also contacted booking of hotel directly -> No answer , not even a read . Their english is so bad they couldn't understand me when i tried to ask someone working there about this issue . Clearly sad about our experience.
• Debra (3/5): Poor - This hotel is in an excellent location. The beach is beautiful white sand blue water. This was a very busy hotel. They were moving people in and out without any personal touch. The food was very mediocre. I had complimentary breakfast but chose to leave and go to nearby restaurant. For the cost very disappointing.
