- Malcolm (4/5): - I arrived late, the night person did not know how to check me in and then ultimately the owner or a manager of the property had to come and get me checked in after 30 minutes. When they put me on the first floor, pointing directly towards the gas station with lots of lights and trucks coming in and out I asked if it was possible for me to be put on the other side of the hotel because I didn’t want to be woken by the noise and lights. Then he proceeded to tell me that I should’ve picked that on Expedia and that there was no way to change it. I said, there is literally 5 cars in the parking lot. I asked to cancel the room, he explained that it was an impossible task and he got upset with me. Ultimately he some how was able to make the change when I asked to leave. Once in There was a very, very thin sheet on the bed and the room smelled as though it had not been opened in a while with no AC running. Disappointment.

- Najera (6/5): Not great staff was rude, sc unit didn’t work, TV inconvenient location. - Quiet, good location, not expensive Ac unit not working inside room. Television not in front of the bed off to the left side. Receptionist spoke with foul language & was super rude to the other employee who tried to help her. She also was yelling with bad words at her boyfriend in my face. I almost walked out but I had already paid the room.
- Raina (4/5): - This is the kind of Hotel you just go to for sleep while traveling. The beds are not very comfortable, nor are the pillows and we found a roach in our room. The floors were also sticky. The whole vibe was a little off - property felt old and not well kept up. My only staff interaction was fine, just slow checking in while he put my ID into some kind of scanner.

I accidentally left my expensive pillow there and could not return for a month. Believe it or not, they still had my pillow!!! Unexpected and wonderful!!

- sarahsZ3903AM (8/5): Clean & Friendly Stay, But Breakfast Disappoints - If this place was serving hot breakfast, I bet it would fill right up. We only got some cakes, grits, and pop tarts. The cleanliness and service more than makeup for the unimpressive breakfast. The coffee was pretty good. Better than what the gas station next door was serving. But overall, the experience here was pretty good. We got to eat a real breakfast at McDonald’s next door.

It’s very nice compared to some of the older motels down the street. There’s plenty of room to park our vehicles. The breakfast here is eh. Could be better. ---------
- Monica (4/5): I didn't feel that it was a suitable place for a family to stay. - The location is excellent, but the hotel fell short of my expectations. While the interiors are outdated, the bathrooms were clean. On a positive note, the front desk staff was exceptional! The interiors are quite dated, evoking a sense of nostalgia that leans more towards a budget motel atmosphere, lacking the warmth and charm one would hope for in a more modern setting.

- Christopher (2/5): Poptarts?!?!? - The room had been updated, but the underlying infrastructure hadn’t been updated- old tub which was worn, slippery and dangerous. The mirror coating in the bathroom was worn off around the edges. Plus, their “breakfast” was Poptarts, and cookies from a gas station. We felt very deceived a ripped off.

- S9535MEmarilyna (4/5): Give Emblaze Hotel a pass. - If you are looking for a bare bones hotel, this is the place for you. To start, there is no one at the front desk. You stand there for 45 seconds or more for a person to come from a back room. There is no coffee maker, drinking cups, tissues, ice bucket (I'm assuming no ice machine anywhere), hair dryer, iron, ironing board in the room. The washcloths and hand towels are paper thin - disposable? 1 waste basket, no clock radio, no USB for charging your phone, no drain stopper. The closet is a cubby with 3 hangers; the desk chair is a folding chair. The complimentary "breakfast" consists of prepackaged snacks and old brewed coffee. Most of the snacks were stale. On the plus side, the bed was comfy there was a frig and a microwave, big screen TV with lots of streaming, and an extra blanket. They want you to drop your keys in a box to check out. I wanted a receipt, so I stood there hoping a person would come out. A voice told me to drop my keys in the box. I had to tell him I wanted a receipt. Waited some more - a person finally showed up. This hotel cost the same as another where we stayed the night before. The previous hotel had all the amenities like a coffee maker in the room, tissues, iron and ironing board, etc....including a hot complimentary breakfast with scrambled eggs, waffle maker, bacon, biscuits, fried potatoes, juices and coffee. If you are in Three Rivers, TX; look for a different hotel than Emblaze.

Check in and out the next day we're very smooth. Our dog was welcome and greeted by the staff :) Beds were comfortable and shower was nice.

I ended up with it pinching my skin on the upper thigh. I was disappointed with the breakfast as all that it was coffee and granola and fruit bars. see above

- Sean (8/5): overall, it was clean and was close distance to Three Rivers, Highway, food and gas. I would stay again. - The hotel has easy access to the highway and Three Rivers. The hotel looks like they are renovating but overall was clean and no crazy smells. The walls are little thin and I could hear my neighbors kids.

- Dan (9/5): Great bargain if all you need is a place to sleep - location is great and the price fantastic. the new owners are in the recess of converting it from a national brand, redecorating cleaning and fixing up. they’re not finished with the conversion 😀 some minor repairs were still needed in my room but they are on the right track. they wanted honest feedback and I think sincerely appreciated it.
