Guest Reviews
- Joanne (10/5): Amazing - Larger sized rooms, breakfast Nothing
- Patricia (10/5): - The staff was exceptionally friendly and always eager to help. The meals availability was superb as when traveling a little something in the middle of the day is appreciated There was not a thing
- hila (10/5): -
- Karl (9/5): -
- René (8/5): - Considering that we paid extra for accommodation at The Level, I appreciate the possibility of using a separate entrance and reception, a pleasant sitting area with wine, coffee or beer and snacks. Everything is possible in the hotel club until 23:00, where delicious Spanish specialties are also served between 17:30 - 18:30. Breakfast was also great, including the possibility of ordering À la carte. We were placed in the smallest room on the 7th floor, which is marked as a higher standard of the hotel, which I regret. The accommodation did not have the promised 25 qm. I also do not understand the problem with issuing an invoice for accommodation, which was sent to me only after several emergencies, even though I requested it the day before departure.
- Mikael (9/5): -
- leonie (10/5): - Food and beverages were excellent The transparent shower wall
- Damien (8/5): -
- Steven (9/5): Heel aangenaam verblijf!
- Jane (5/5): Great service would have made a huge difference - Great location for our event. Room was pokey, very noisy (zero sound-proofing) with an impossible to temperature regulate shower that leaked all over the floor (obviously a historical problem as part of the door frame had rotted so badly it had been replaced).
Shockingly bad lighting in the tiny shower room, no magnifying mirror.
Service was mixed. Main reception was lovely with a charming Australian man but we were actually, because we’d booked an expensive room, led to the ‘five star experience’ at ‘The Level’ reception where the woman who checked us in was very surly. It really doesn’t matter if there is free cheap Cava on offer if the receptionist treats you like a pain, having a chat with other staff members before turning her attention to us.
Five star experience? Definitely not.
- Thomas (9/5): Excellent hotel, great breakfast with Spanish food. Lots of amenities which I didn’t try due to work - Excellent location next to Regents Park with a Spanish flavour throughout The fridge has glass door so the light stays on all night illuminating the room
- Lena (10/5): -
- Thierry (10/5): -
- Carlos Fraginals (7/5): HABITACION DEFICIENTE - Buena ubicacion.
- Lisa Kyra (8/5): - Location and cleaning are excellent Call lines were not always answered
- Andrew (9/5): Absolutely wonderful experience - Breakfast was superb in the LEVEL lounge with an excellent choice available. The room was clean and of a comfortable size. The staff at the hotel were welcoming and extremely helpful.
- KRESIMON (10/5): -
- Cameron (10/5): First class - We have stayed here twice now excellent service and facilities our favourite London hotel Can’t think of anything
Nada
- Guest (8/5): -
- Pierre (10/5): A very pleasant one night stay - The room was spacious, very well equipped and the bed was very comfortable Nothing

- soner (10/5): -
- geoffrey (10/5): -
- Mario (8/5): great stay, will be back - excellent breakfast slightly bigger rooms
- Anna (10/5): Enjoyed our stay! Will come back - One of the best hotels we ever stayed in London. Beautiful and large room, excellent breakfast, super central location. Everything is truly perfect.
- Cheralyn (8/5): -
- Helio (2/5): Lots of problems with breakfast. Overcrowded. Badly organized. I don’t plan to stay at Melia ever again. -
- Alex (10/5): Excellent hotel - great staff, food, rooms and experience. - We stayed at The Level for our wedding night and had a wonderful stay. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, we were given complimentary late check-out and the room was lovely.
We were able to have breakfast in the lounge area which had a very wide range and could return to the lounge once we had checked out (because we had a 'Level' room) which had free drinks and snacks all day.
- Joanne (8/5): -
- mouna (5/5): -
- Christopher (4/5): Nice hotel spoilt by smell of drains in rooms - Staff excellent and breakfast choices great Smell of drains in two of the three rooms we booksed was aweful.
- Lakshay (8/5): Good location, good room and awesome breakfast - The location and the levels lounge with food and breakfast. They had a power outage half way thru our stay and all the lounge services including the breakfast got moved. The issue was it was very unorganized in the beginning and we got different answers from different staff members.
- Tamsin (9/5): - Excellent staff, very helpful, courteous and professional.
The quality and flavours of the food, both at dinner and breakfast was superb.
The room size was great, the bed was very comfortable and the bed linens of excellent quality. Lots of large fresh towels, toiletries, Nespresso, drinking water. We had to take our meals at 1, Marylebone due to an electric issue meaning that no catering services were availablein the hotel. Unfortunately this venue was not wheelchair accessible, luckily I was able to get up the steps with pain but then again there was a step up to the food area. Luckily the relaxed ambience and great staff made up for the inconvenience.
- Joan (8/5): -
- Sofia (8/5): -
- gerard (6/5): -
- Christopher (4/5): Nice hotel, great location, very over hyed descriptions. Smell of drains in two out of three rooms. - Breakfast choice and quality were outstanding. Staff were super helpful. Very busy at breakfast time, ran out of cups for coffee. Aweful smell of drains in two rooms we booked. Corridor floor coverings looking worn and trim on corrodor wooden panel detached and lay on floor for two days. Mouse running around in bar questions hygiene.
- Ken (10/5): A very good hotel in a great neighbourhood. - Club lounge was very good and the bedrooms were very well equipped. Staff were polite and professional. Nothin
- Janette (10/5): Exceptional, staff super friendly - Excellent location, really clean, excellent room facilities Nothing
- Kerryn (10/5): Most comfortable stay within walking distance to most amenities! - Loved everything about this hotel!
The room was lovely and spacious. Even a comfortable sofa bed for our son. The travel cot was extra long which was perfect for our 2 year old.
The breakfast is amazing. Loved the cava!
The staff were super friendly from check in to checkout! We will be back!
So close to tube stops too. The only issue we had was the curtain to the bathroom was broken.
- Lev (9/5): -
- Paul (10/5): -
- Julia (8/5): Nice but could be improved - Lounge was good.
Bedroom was attractive
Staff were very helpful No night light in toilet /bathroom area
No ladies magnifying make up mirror
No USBC or 3 pin plugs by the bed
- Andrea (9/5): - Glass walls for the bathrooms.
- Karin (9/5): Goede locatie - super ontbijt - vriendelijk personeel - ruime kamers - heerlijke bedden! - Wij vonden "the level" geweldig. Niets.
- Max (8/5): - Good location
- Andrea (9/5): -
- Dionysios (9/5): -
- alessandro (10/5): -
- Linda (10/5): Memorable and noteworthy. - Everything. The attention to detail that created a cohesive exceptional experience. The large clean rooms set up for comfort and a relaxing experience to the executive lounge that offers delectable treats and full breakfast service.
- Beatrice (10/5): My stay was exceptional; so good, I am considering holding my next course here. - Beautiful , pristine, incredibly lovely staff, food was delicious. Nothing
- Pia (8/5): Great location and comfortable stay - Access to the Level Lounge with the amenities. Housekeeping could be better. Pet-friendly but you can tell the hotel is not use to have pets. Maybe a pet"food"menu would be just a nice little gesture.
- Birgit (9/5): - Prima
- Baris (10/5): -
- Nazlı (8/5): - The only downside for me was the lack of wardrobes in the rooms and the limited number of drawers. Since we were staying as three people, we had difficulty organizing our clothes and opening our suitcases.
- Huber (8/5): -
- Susan (4/5): -
- John (10/5): -
- IRENE (10/5): -
- Jose (10/5): -
- Bentley (10/5): Stay again - Everything exceptional hotel
Probably the best I have used in London Every single thing the hotel
Itself is fabulous the staff attentive is every way the restaurant staff excellent
- Gabrielle (10/5): Excellent value for money - The service was exceptional the second we arrived at the hotel. We were taken to a separate part of the hotel to check in and were welcomed by super friendly staff followed by a glass of champagne. We were then shown to the Level dining area where a wide selection of snacks and drinks were complimentary. This included bread, cheeses, nuts, fruits, pastries, cakes & sweets. Drinks included were water, tea, coffee, soft drinks, beers and wines just to name a few! We only stayed for one night so sadly didn’t get a chance to have dinner or explore the rest of the facilities there but wow… we will be booking here again on our next London visit. Thank you :) Nothing!
- Ian (6/5): Nice beds, good breakfast and location. Frienfly staff. - The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Free water in tge room every day. The Level lounge and breakfast wasvery good. The drain in the sink didn't draun well and the shower leaked. I asked to remedy both but tgey were not done.
- Robert (10/5): -
- Christopher (6/5): -
- James (5/5): Room disappointing - The buffet Drains in bathrrom were smelly and noisy. Room was also quite tatty in places and in need of some refurbishment.
- Karl (8/5): very enjoyable - Good location and a great breakfast Storage in the room could be improved
- Sarah (8/5): Great safe location right by Regents Park - Great location. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely reception. Comfortable bed. It was a pleasant stay just a few niggles. Not a fan of the open room styling. No bathroom door just frosted glass shower and separate toilet.
The shower ran hot and cold. Could not get it to stabilise so it was a bit of a challenge to wash your hair jumping in and out.
The executive lounge concept was good but was a little erratic at busy times. Under catered and under staffed.
- Wendy (9/5): - As usua alll the staff (front of house and support team) were incredibly welcoming even when they are really busy. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they always try and make your stay special. The executive lounge is a real asset as you know that any time of day you can get some refreshments and a place to relax or work. The breakfast is always excellent with an extensive range of fresh quality food....something for everyone.
- Debbie (7/5): Excellent extras but choose your oom wisely - The Level executive lounge is a fantastic service and really distinguished the stay from other hotels. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. The rooms are bland and I found the bed not as comfortable as I would have liked. The noise level from other guests was also much higher than other hotels I have stayed in.
- Gregory (10/5): Would stay at the hotel again and became a member of the Melia resorts - The property was beautiful and clean. The staff was the friendliest all throughout the hotel. We love the location. It was equal
Distance from all the venues. The area was quiet and not a lot of traffic. For our visit close to Kings Cross station
- Louise (10/5): Really great stay. Would recommend to anyone and will return again. - Location, facilities offered, cleanliness and friendly staff Nothing
- Natalie (8/5): Wonderful - Beautiful hotel. Nice staff and the lounge is really an amazing addition. I recommend it a lot! Rooms are a bit small and the location is not so central
- John (10/5): - Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
- Helen (9/5): Fabulous - The staff welcome. I’m a coeliac and the gluten free tapas offered in the Level could’ve been much better.
- Keith (10/5): Lovely place, great location, will come again. - Everything
- lisa (8/5): Enjoyable, great location would stay again . - Good location, modern, clean and well kept hotel. Seemed short staff at breakfast and coffee machines not working .
- Jose Frasquet (8/5): Buena elección en Londres - Fantástico localización
- Joaquín (7/5): -
- George (8/5): Nicely located hotel - Nicely located property with a great lounge available to the level customers. Breakfast was excellent Rooms are not soundproof, we were given a connecting room and we could literally listen the next ones
- Samir (10/5): -
- Ines (10/5): Amazing! Spanisches Flair in London!
- Beckie (9/5): Modern luxury quiet hotel - The lounge was a lovely extra with an amazing breakfast and nice selection of snacks and drinks throughout the day. Helpful staff and nice clean hotel. The location was good for bus but not as good for tube access.

- Andrew (10/5): -
- Christopher (9/5): Beautiful, comfortable hotel, great location. Shame about the payment issues. - The location is fantastic, the room was lovely, large, comfortable and clean. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, the towels
In the room were thick and generous in size. Breakfast was delicious and had lots of choice. It was excellent value for money for a night in London. Before we arrived, we had the option to check in online, however, the price shown was slightly more than the confirmed booking.com price so we decided to check in, in person. When we tried to do this, we were told that we had to pay the slightly higher price. It was only a couple of pounds but it felt wrong as this was not the price confirmed on our booking by booking.com. To resolve this, we just paid on the booking.com app and were then told that we couldn’t check in until the payment had gone through. We returned several hours later and were told we needed to Pay for the room again, so we shared the Booking.com payment confirmation Email to show we had actually already paid. All fine, when checking our, we were asked to
Pay for our room again. This was a bit annoying that we were challenged 2
Times in this way.
Other than that, the hotel was lovely however the shower was either too hot
Or too cold and could not seem to regulate for quite some time. Also, the sound I. The tv was terrible and some channels kept freezing. Other than this, all good.
