- Jennifer (6/5): - This place was ok. I booked a room with a king bed, I went to the room and the toilet was running, I lifted the back part of the toilet and noticed the gasket was broken. It was shocking that the cleaning staff didn’t pick up on this. The receptionist was wonderful and corrected the issue and put me in a double queen room. The room itself is ok. You can tell it’s an older hotel. I kept getting a smell of urine in the room, I wasn’t sure if it was coming from the ac unit. The couch had stains on it. The carpet had stains and some weird spots. There was a hair tie under the bed. The linens were clean. The bathroom was ok. The shower rod must be broke bc the shower liner wouldn’t stay expanded out so some water came out from the shower. The breakfast was awful. The eggs and sausage was cold. The pool was ok. Along the top edge of the pool is some black stuff. The pool floor was gross. The icing on the cake for this place was the homeless person that came in and stole some breakfast. She was saying the “f” word to the receptionist. I was so glad my son wasn’t with me during this incident. If you need a bed to sleep on this place is great for that other than that I wasn’t impressed. The staff was extremely nice though.

Also in the room the shower tub was not cleaned and had yellow discoloration on the tub Unable to shower without putting a hand towel in the shower down. As it was not clean. Curtains were dirty and ripped Iron board was broken and iron wall attachment fell down while we were out of the room. When we returned it was on the floor.

- Keith (4/5): - Traveled with My Wifey to take in the show at Mohegan Sun, and do some shopping. We haven't been that way in over 15 years, Needless to say we were looking forward to seeing the changes. First stop was the Hotel. At first glance everything seemed copasectic, however, after ordering a meal to eat in the room, we noticed that there was no garbage cans on our floor and definitely no recycle bins in site. I had to go downstairs in order to throw away the garbage. I used the plastic bags in the small bins in the room but then I had to ask front desk for additional bags so they gave me 2. Over the course of our 5 day stay I got 2 bags each time I asked. The bed was horrendous, it had dents and felt like its been there forever. This place was doing the bare minimum as far as being a Comfort Inn. The furniture was old and needed a serious upgrade. The only thing that was good was the smart tv, oh wait no hbo or premium cable, all basic, as a matter of fact the hotel was basic, no less than basic. It was my fault, I should have known better, and booked my stay at the Hyatt. I've always had a great experience with them. They understand customer service and concept of of spending money to make money. The people at Comfort Inn in Norwich are taking money and giving you nothing in return. I would NEVER stay there again, matter of fact, I'm never dealing with that whole franchise again, and if you are still reading this, I implore you to listen to me. DON'T USE COMFORT INN IN NORWICH.

- Lisa (6/5): Acceptable, but won’t stay again. - We stayed for a single night to see a concert at Mohegan Sun, which was an expensive cab ride to and from the hotel. There were two locked doors inside of our room, presumably entrances to the other rooms on either side of us. This made us uncomfortable and uneasy. It was hard to sleep knowing there were 3 different entrances to our room. The pillows were oddly shaped and strange, they were simply not usable and neither one of us slept much at all. The bed was pretty uncomfortable. The hallways STUNK of heavy chemicals, probably whatever they were using to clean, but the smell was overwhelming. Accommodations were ok and our room was clean. Passable for a single night, but won’t stay again.

- Natalie (2/5): - DO NOT COME HERE! I had a pair of Cartier glasses when I left my room for my event 8/31/25. Next morning I'm gathering my belongings and I cannot find those pair of glasses. I went down to the front desk to ask if maybe housekeeping went in, I was assured they did not. As I'm checking out I mentioned to the person at the front desk I looked everywhere but they said wait until housekeeping cleans for the day. I followed up few hours later spoke with Mohammad and asked for the manager. Manager wasn't available. Mohammad says call back tomorrow morning (9/2/25) whatever housekeeping finds it's given to front desk. Well, today is follow up there's no manager and he was extremely rude. The glasses are indeed missing. Someone must of went into my room and took the Cartier glasses. There's no other explanation. The fact Mohammad was so rude & dismissive leads me to believe "front desk" knows something shady is going on! He refused to give me the managers name & hours. PS bring sandals to shower with because the shower is full of rust and rundown! The small face towels had hairs in 2 of them- not my hair as I didn't use them yet. The window coverings are not black out and do not cover the full window. I will never come back to this hotel!

Not only was the tiny mattress stained and torn, It was so uncomfortable as the springs were going through the mattress itself. The mattress was only 2 inches thick and it was the most uncomfortable torturous experience of my life. They should be ashamed to have anyone sleep on such a poor kept couch.

- Matthew (6/5): Little rough this time - This place was a little rough. The front desk staff said nothing while I was checking in until I asked what time breakfast was. He replied politely, however I have always been greeted when I get to a hotel. Maybe he was having a bad day. The whole hotel had quite a strong fragrance, not a bad smell, but very strong. They do not vacuum as I found a lot of food crumbs and a quarter on the floor of my room. There was a gummy bear in the hallway for all 4 days I was there, no vacuuming in the hallway either? The mold on the ceiling of the bathroom was the worst part of all. It looked like someone "repaired" the ceiling in the bathroom but didn't paint over the patches and mold was all over the unpainted joint compound. I remember Comfort Suites being better in the past.

We got it ONCE. One day our room keys stopped working... Needed to have battery replaced as well as keys...Another day we were relaxing in the living room..large bang.…light feel off ceiling in the dining room. Property needs work and general upkeep...would i stay again....no. would i recommend property...no. staff knew us on sight as our room number...307.. i fell thats all we were was a room number.…

We wasn't looking for a bunch of bells and whistles just a decent, clean, and comfortable place to stay for the weekend the was close to both Foxwood. Mohegan Sun and some seaside restuarants we like. Also, their breakfast free wasn't too bad either (it was more than the basic continental breakfast). We will stay here again!

The room was very dated, with popcorn ceilings and older furniture. It was spacious, though, and the bed was very comfortable. The AC worked well, and the room was quiet. Furnishings had dings, scratches, and dents. Our room came with an iron, ironing board, mini fridge, and coffee maker. The internet was perfect. The hotel offered a free breakfast, which consisted of a buffet-style menu of eggs, sausage, waffle maker, bagels, muffins, etc. For a one or two night basic stay, it was perfect. If you happen to be looking for a more upscale setting, this may not be the hotel for you.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Last minute booking - The room was comfortable and had extra seating. The staff was nice and accommodated us to get two rooms on the same floor, and they had coffee. The room was a bit dusty with a few stains. We didnt use the shower because of a few stains in the tub.

Our bathroom toilet did not work. It did not flush it overflowed the ceiling with key in and fallen, the walls had holes I took photos of the staff was really rude and told me to leave the premises and never come back because I addressed them about the issue. I want a refund. No one should pay for this type of experience.

- Rich (4/5): - Room, sheets and bathroom appeared clean. Pillows were very uncomfortable-big and thick without much give causing a very unnatural sleeping position. Overall though the property is worn out and they have applied quick fixes and cheap coverups rather than truly fixing them. Could see ceiling water damage in room, cheap flooring applied over uneven floors, sloppy caulk in bathroom, old faucets, molding missing in bathroom, worn out curtain. Hallways and elevator areas dingy and not clean. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Coffee was super weak, bread stale, eggs dry, milk warm, orange juice subpar, waffles were odd tasting and they just didn't have a great variety. Even the plastic ware was very cheap and flimsy. My overall impression is that the property owners are doing things as cheaply as possible in order to save money and make a profit.
- Jeff (4/5): - The bed and room were just okay. I would not recommend staying there for the price. Very old and outdated and need of major renovations

- Tyler (6/5): - There was hair in the bathroom tub, there were stains in the carpet. The walls were not super clean and only had one coat of paint on the walls.
- Morgan (4/5): - Could use more cleaning attention to the rooms and common areas.
- Elan (4/5): - I gave this an overall of three stars because the dining area and breakfast were decent. In fact, they are the nicest part of this entire place. The hallway and room smelled, and the door to our room was not cut to fit. In other words, you could see into the hallway from the inside when the door was shut. I could not wait to leave and will never stay there again.
- james (6/5): - Just not kept. Elevator looks like it from the worse run down area.
