• Tracy (8/5): Smart hotel at a reasonable price in a quiet location. - Friendly staff in the dining room. Good choice at breakfast and reasonably priced. Great location and easy walk from Waverley station. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off just as we were getting to sleep and everyone was stood outside on the rain. Seems like it was a false alarm but no explanation given by staff.

Un vestiaire 4. Un ascenseur pour l accès à notre chambre Le petit dejeuner continental , tres peu varie et en petite quantité je n avais plus a 8h30 que du fromage type bleu Danois.et de la confiture .il était facture à 15 £ pourtant, le deuxième jour je me suis abstenue.j ai eu l impression qu ils attendaient volontairement avant de remettre quelques tranches de jambon, salami et fromage.

Pas de place pour poser les affaires de toilette dans la salle d’eau . Petit déjeuner cher.

• Katherine (9/5): Overall a beautiful place to stay. - Very helpful staff and the location was in walking distance with everything. If you have large luggage be mindful that they only have stairs, but the staff do offer to take your luggage for you.

• Ingrid (10/5): Ein typisch englisches Boutiquehotel - Wir haben hier auf der Durchreise in die Highlands die erste Nacht verbracht. Das Zimmer war großzügig und sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Besonders die bequemen Betten sind hervorzuheben. Wir waren auch von der sehr freundlichen Rezeptionistin sehr angetan. Keine Beanstandungen zu machen.

Biraz odaya giderken labirentlik var ama ilk girişte odanıza kadar çıkartıp anlatıyorlar ☺️Çalışanlar çok güler yüzlü ve tatlılardı. Otelin yeri Princess Street in üzerinde neredeyse ve ordaki avm ye çok yakın baya merkezi diyebilirim. Daha turistik yerlere 15 dk lık bir mesafesi var. Çevresi temiz ve sessiz bir yerde bulunması da çok iyidi Sadece ilk girdiğimizde asansörden sonra merdiven çıkmak gerekiyordu orada asansör yoktu, bavulları kendimiz taşıdık odamıza biraz zorluydu o kısım. Terlik yoktu, yanınızda getirmenizi öneririm. Şampuan vs gibi şeyler çok minik kutudalardı

От ж/д вокзала 5 минут и от автобуса в аэропорт 7 минут. В целом уютный отель. На рецепшн потрескивает камин. Нет холодильника в номере, но есть чайник( кофе, чай). Предлагается два варианта завтрака: 15.50 и 18.50. Сам буфет очень скудный: йогурт в миске, выпечка, 2 вида сыра, колбаса и фрукты( незрелый арбуз на фото). Нет ни фасоли, ни сосисок, ни яиц. За 15.50 можно еще получить овсянку. А за 18.50 одно блюдо на выбор с яйцами. В целом атмосфера обслуживания на завтраке не дружелюбная.

Door vroege aankomst en laat vertrek de mogelijkheid om onze bagage voor inchecktijd en na uitcheck-moment ter plaatse in bewaring te laten. Alles naar wens! /

• Ann (10/5): I would stay here again in a heartbeat! - Excellent location near train and city center. Quiet and spacious room with lovely views. The stairs were a challenge after a day of hiking or navigating hilly Edinburgh. There is an elevator but our impression was that guests are encouraged to use the stairs if possible.

• Reddington (10/5): - Enjoyed my stay very much, helpful staff, clean room and comfy bed. Best shower pressure of the trip, and the location is ideal. Felt very safe as a solo female traveler. Would highly recommend.

Also would recommend a bar like inside the tub for shower have one placed out side tub so when getting out of tub or shower have something to hold on to a nice deep tub but may be hazard for older people to step as high without holding something. Fall risk but great place. We are 70 and in good shape but could see some people may have issues

• Christopher (10/5): Fantastic staff in a very comfortable hotel. - Quiet, clean and well laid out room. 1sr Scottish hotel (out of about 12) that had good water pressure and steady hot water showers). A special shout out to the wonderful concierge Mills. She helped us with travel paperwork and was simply excellent to deal with. The climate control is a radiator only. It was unusually hot this week and it had not been turned down. Luckily the windows open enough to get some fresh air in.

Het haardvuur in de lobby is heel aangenaam en gezellig, en we werden super vriendelijk onthaald! Ook het ontbijt was voortreffelijk! There was no air conditioning or ceiling fan - we were fine in April with windows open but summer would be warm. Pillows were very hard but softer ones were provided on request.

• Kay (9/5): Lovely hotel and excellent location with friendly and helpful staff - we'll be back. - The staff were all friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - very close to Princes Street but in a very quiet location. The room was very comfortable and attractive. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Small things which would have made our stay perfect: No hook on bathroom door for a dressing gown. As a result, it spent most of the time draped on the radiator or on the bathroom floor. Tea bags - we don't like flavoured or decaff tea so there were only enough appropriate teabags provided for us to each have one cup of tea each 24 hours of our stay. Reception provided more on request, but we would much prefer these to have already been provided in the room. These are small things which could easily be put right and which will not preclude us from staying again.

We were waiting in lobby for a drink and the person on reception had to go to somebody's room to sort an issue, so we were left waiting quite a while, as they also serve any drinks you might want.

Lovely warm fire to greet you in reception when you arrive. Room was comfortable and clean. Original features can be seen in the room and reception room. No outside noise is going to penetrate the thick original walls. Different lighting sequences in the room with a light in the wardrobe also. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Everything was good.
