- Douglas (1/5): Cleanliness is obviously lacking - Stayed here several times before, never had an issue Turned down the sheets (as I always do immediately wherever I stay), and BED BUG! No thanks. Had been there 5 minutes, put my stuff back in the car, turned in my room key and left.
- Robert (8/5): Cozy little old place! - Convientent price location Old and dated. Towels could be much better.
- Jennifer (10/5): It was great and I’ll be staying again - It looks like home Nothing
- Charlotte (5/5): It was doable.... - Quiet... mostly. Was advised that since it was a last minute booking, the room smelt heavy of air freshener. Upon getting in the room and settling, my husband unplugged one of the air fresheners by the bed because it made his eyes burn. Later in the evening, the room smelled like wet dog or the very least dog. I could deal with it for a night, but EW!

- Glass (10/5): - Everything u need. Nothing
- Sasha (4/5): - Not far from where I needed to travel I got a chemical burn from the detergent they washed their bedding in. Flys constantly in the room.
- Deb (9/5): Wye not ? - Clean, quiet, good location for my needs. Mattress could use replacing, understandable.

- Boor (7/5): Comfortable, clean, friendly staff made it a pleasant stay. - It was pleasantly quiet at night. I slept very well. I can't think of anything.

- Thomas (9/5): Good value and clean! - Very reasonable price. Clean facilities and good staff. Shower was odd and pillows were small. The heater/ air conditioner was very noisy.
- Robert (9/5): I have stayed in worse and I have stayed in better! - Location and it was cozy! Old towels. Older hotel

- Crystal (9/5): Great, clean, budet friendly motel! Would recommend to others. - Clean motel, priced very well, warm, safe No ice (machine not working), but that is an issue with outside ice machines. They did explain where to get at a nearby gas station. Recommend to keep the ice machine inside (perhaps front lobby).
- Brenda (10/5): -
- Sandra (10/5): - Very clean nice room and it was very cheap for this stay

- Cynthia (8/5): We enjoyed the couple nights we stayed at this motel and would book it again if we came to the area. - The price for the room was appropriate for the room we had. The size of the room was comfortable with what we needed for our stay. There was no breakfast, but I knew that when I booked the motel and that was not a negative for us. The motel was easy to locate when we got to Duncansville. There was a grocery store nearby as well as Walmart & Target.
- Paul (1/5): Stay away. Far away. - Location was convenient. It didn't have bed bugs. Mattress should have been replaced YEARS AGO. Flies in the unit, keeping me up at night. The room stunk badly. Smelled like a combination of pet dogs and cigarettes. Shower drain was plugged up. Folding closet door almost impossible to open or close. Looks like the room furnishings hasn't been updated since the JFK administration.
And finally, the TV remote doesn't work unless you are within 5 feet of the TV.
- Stephanie (8/5): Room was an excellent value. I plan to stay here again. - Breakfast was not included but for $80. a night we could afford to buy our own. Room was clean and spacious. Carpet and curtains have not been updated in a very long time but everything was clean. Location was surprisingly quiet.
- Carol (10/5): Enjoyable -

- frank (5/5): A place to stay - Close to what I needed and do.Close to Everett railroad There was no ice machine. No breakfast. The place needs a overall. It looks the same as it did from the 70's.Tub had hair in it .Bathroom floor was sticky.and not well cleaned.Ok for a single guy or truck driver
- Cynthia (7/5): -
- Theresa (4/5): - The price and it was clean. The heat wasnt the best.
- Donna (5/5): Tried to speak to gentleman working but he didn’t seem to care. - Large room easy access Room smelled like cigarettes, comforter on bed was stained and had burn holes in it. Refrigerator was not cold or even on- bottle of open wine left in frig.
- Thomas (9/5): - I didn’t know there was a breakfast available.
- Jean (10/5): - Clean and friendly There was nothing wrong with the place
- Streilein (6/5): - Did not eat breakfast
- Brenda (10/5): -
- Matthew (4/5): Good value, you get what you pay for. - Location was close to work. Easy electronic key. Bad smell, loud heater.
- Brown (1/5): - Nothing. I didn't stay in walked in and walked out
- Karima (8/5): Comfortable bed, daily housekeeping, bargain rates. - Bargain rate, basic but clean and comfortable. Parking right in front of room. Little refrigerator rattled so I turned it off.
- Kakhaber (8/5): -
- Scott (10/5): - Great staff
Big rooms and very clean and a good price . I have stayed twice and will be back.
- Morrison (5/5): Stayed for a vacation - In a great location Staff when check in was a little rude.
- Joshua (7/5): -
- Maria (9/5): - Great value, very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Even had a little kitchenette as an added bonus. The place is a little dated but an excellent value for a good nights sleep.

- James (3/5): Don't appreciate the smoking room when I requested a non smoking room. That's bullshit. I Won't won't s - Location was fine. When you request a NON SMOKING ROOM, you don't give the customer a smoking room. Everything i have on stinks like I was sleeping in an ashtray. 😠 Everyth in ng is out dated and old, Needs to be updated and the nasty curtains and bedding tossed. Everything stinks like smoke. 👎 I left earlier than I needed just to get out of there asap. Not the experience I excepted after driving here.
- Steven (9/5): -
- Jennifer (10/5): Always a clean and comfortable home away from home - This is our halfway point coming from Ontario Canada to Virginia and this hotel is a gem! We have stayed at this hotel 4-5 times now and our experience is always good! The rooms are always clean and cozy, the property is always clean with a wonderful view of the mountains, check in is easy and friendly and this will always be our go-to place to stay! We highly recommend!
- Douglas (9/5): -
- Jody (9/5): -
- Joyce (10/5): - Budget friendly
- McElhinny (7/5): -
- LB (2/5): Not bad but not great. - The location to where we wanted to go, it was quiet which we really appreciated, the room was spacious and clean (even tho everything is old looking), it was easy to get to, it would have been a worse experience if we spent more time in the room than we did, we just needed a place to sleep and get ready. Most of the things in our room didn't work, the sink faucet leaked, the refrigerator didn't get cold, the hair dryer didn't work and the ac/heating window unit was finicky, the rooms need updated badly from the old tiled bathrooms and aesthetic. I do appreciate an old school motel look but not when it's so old even tho it's clean it looks dirty.
- Naveen (5/5): - Affordability

- PRR 4800 (7/5): I would stay here again. - Convenient location I can't say I disliked anything about the Wye Motor Lodge. I knew what I was getting when I made reservations. This place is a "vintage" motor lodge offering a clean sleeping place. The furnishings are worn/dated but that is not an issue for me.
If you need to be pampered and want all the perks that come with a modern high-dollar establishment? This place is not for you.
- Elizabeth (6/5): -
- Regina (5/5): - Location The room was very musty. I couldn’t use the air conditioner or the heater because it stunk.
- Brenda (10/5): I love to stay here - It is quite comfortable and very nice Nothing this place is perfect.
- jeff (6/5): -
This is an old motor lodge that probably hasn’t changed in 50 years. It is worn and uninviting.
- Lori (4/5): - Price clean staff
- Ana (8/5): -
- Sayanthan (1/5): -
- Sharon (8/5): - I was happy with both the parking and the air conditioning. We had no problem with either
- Carol (8/5): - Good for price point. Clean room
Easy access to and from the highway. Only wish the bathroom was not have a urine smell
Customer service check was not as friendly
.. as I would hope
. Definitely the same individual I talked to on the phone to confirm booking
. Grumpy.. otherwise a good night
- John (8/5): -
- Bowser (9/5): -
- Rosalie (10/5): - Love staying at the Y.. last night was the best sleep I’ve had in years thank you!!!
- Gregg (10/5): - I would definitely stay here again if I am passing through the area. I liked the idea of parking right outside your door, all one level. Room was smaller than most hotels but had everything you need. Mine was clean and comfortable. No issues.
- Collin (8/5): - Overall very good place for 1 or 2 nights. Outside of the place and inside looks very old but they keep it very clean and nice looking. Only downside is there’s only a few fast food restaurants around and semi ok restaurant right behind hotel.
- Mikael (2/5): Smells bad - Cute town, easy to find motel. Room was musty/smelly.
- Charles (8/5): Hidden Gem, Very Clean and affordable - The facility is exceptionally clean, and the price is very affordable. Nothing
- steven (6/5): When nothing else is available - Location was good. Convenient to get breakfast and other places. Out dated property, room did have an odor. Could see the a/c filter was way overdue for cleaning. Stains on carpet and the wall. Booking.com site gives this and 8 rating. Not sure unless people have lower expectations.
- Zachary (10/5): - Room was very clean. Quite. Parking close to room, always a plus for me. Plenty of restaurants around to eat. Easy check-in and out.
- Patrick (4/5): - Overpriced when we booked for what it was..pics on website showed a kitchenette, which there was none!! And rate was jacked up by about $40 when we booked..NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!
- Jeff (9/5): Very well priced and clean. Close to freeway, too - Great location 45 mins from State College. Very reasonable. Was able to stay just one night. Staff was very nice. Room was ready early. Pillows weren’t great. Actually need replacing.
- Thomas (2/5): - I’m not sure what rooms the people who rated this an 8.8/10 stayed in, but it wasn’t the one I had. Atleast I didn’t get bit by bed bugs, but two of the four pillows had massive stains along with the bath towels which didn’t dry you, to the floor not being vacuumed. From the smell to the old outdated style of the room I will never stay there again. When I tried to get a refund to find somewhere else to go they wouldn’t do it, proceed with caution.
- Chris (7/5): -
- Christopher (2/5): - Smelled of old smoke and old sox. Ruined my cpap hose and mask. Cannot get smell out of plastic..should bill them for supplies.
You reviews on line are a lie
- Tyler (10/5): Simple, clean, and honest. - Room was tidy and freshly cleaned. Staff was friendly and courteous. Highway noise can be disruptive but thay's not their fault, and it does mean that food is seldom more than a 5 min drive in any direction. It's leagues above the vast majority of other non-chain hotels that call themselves budget friendly, and it still manages to check all the boxes that one would need for a comfortable short stay. WYEML is very much a "what you see is what you get" kind of place and doesn't try to be anything it's not. All in all, if you just need a comfortable place to relax after travel, have a hot shower, lay your head down, and you can do without the high thread count egyptian cotton sheets, hot tub, and pool access, then WYE Motor Lodge a great place to stay.
