Pat (8/5): Enjoyed staying there and definitely would go back. - Rooms are recently renovated. Very clean and staff very friendly. Giant TV with full access to Apple, Prime and Netflix. Nice bath products and keurig coffee machine. Easy walking distance to restaurants and groceries. The rooms are not very soundproof. The heat/cooling fan is quite loud and constantly comes on and off. Telus remote did not seem to work. Drawers on left side of bathroom cabinet were really hard to open.

There was stuff everywhere and our room was not finished. There was no dresser or shelves. One lamp was broken and the sliding door shade was broken. The little table was wobbly and so was the chair beside the bed.

DM (1/5): Exceptionally poor - the room was a nice size and had a large bathroom with a good sized tub. There was no TV/wifi/internet at all. The mattress was old, and uncomfortable and sagged terribly at the edges. My room had an exterior door, and while I was walked through the hotel to get to the room, with a small 20ft segment outside, my room key would not open that exterior door meaning I had to walk down a slippery set of wooded stairs and then through the unlit parking lot to gain access to the lobby.

The gal at reception was very pleasant.

Shayla (5/5): Good - Weird check in to find our room upstairs. Pool was closed which isn’t surprising with the time of year. They were doing renovations on the units next to us (over Christmas Day and Boxing Day) which was loud and disruptive from 8am-4ish and woke me up both mornings with sawing noises and hammering. When we came home all the doors were locked, no staff, no one to answer phones, and we had to do a perimeter check to find and upstairs door on the side that had a FOB to enter the building to our room. Access, staff availability, amenities, taps in bathroom leaked all over counter top, tv was 20ft away from the bed

The staff were really friendly and helpful (we were lucky enough to get early check in which was needed after a long journey). The rooms was very clean and had everything we needed, including a kitchenette with a stove top. Lovely coffee machine in the Reception which can be used throughout the day.

thompson (8/5): The staff at check in were really nice and accomodating just wish the pool was warm. - We travel with cats and they actually say cats are welcome and the staff were very nice also they have a auto barista that makes decent coffees, many accomodations say pet friendy but only allow dogs which I find peculiar as 2 other places we stayed one that welcomed both cats and dogs and one was only dogs but let us stay because we were prepaid both of these properties had dog droppings left behind in the yards which would have been disgusting if stepped on but it was me a cat owner that got a bag and picked it up. The rooms are large but a little dated didn't realy bother me I found the property quite nice . I know its a little late in the season but wish the pool heated wanted to go for a swim but found the water to cold.
Desirée (4/5): - The staff were super friendly, and they accomodated me for an eariler check in for a wedding i was attending. Those were the only positives. Upon opening the door to my room, there was a super strong smell of chemicals crossed with a pine sol smell. There was something in the kitchen duct taped up, i assume it was an old dishwasher. The stove botton was broken, the bathroom smelled musky and moldy so i kept the windows and from door open to air out the whole place. Once the chemical smell dissapated a bit, i could smell dog urine in the room. It was pretty bad, and i understood why they sprayed the room everywhere, to mask it. When i went to bed, i smelled really bad body odour, i was smelling the sheets and matress... it was the pillow. Luckily there were other pillows, i brought that one the the front desk and told them they should not put that in another room it was so terrible. Understandably, im sure housekeeping doesnt smell the pillows but just replace sheets, so they wouldnt know. A brick on the fireplace randomly fell off, there were previous guests dirty towels balled up under the sink. This was a last min booking because most places were sold out... and its definitely one of the worst kept places and unsanitary Ive been in unfortunately. It nice they are pet friendly...but you cant have urine smells nor dirty pillows... The pool area was nice and they have a coffee machine in the main office which was a plus. Other than that... nothing positive.

Margaret (9/5): Wonderful stay - loved the pool/patio area. Comfortable beds quiet rooms. - The room was large, clean, good large shower tub, great smelling shampoo conditioner lotion soap etc . The pool area was quiet, clean. The pool was cold but was advertised as such . I did laps in it. The coffee machine in lobby made specialty coffee hot Chocolate and tea was available as well. The kitchen area/ room was dated but functional. It had a larger mini fridge but no freezer section ( not needed this visit) . The staff was friendly. We slept well and enjoyed the patio area for breakfast and playing cards . They had a BBQ on the patio as well. It’s a 10 minute steep downhill walk down to Gibsons Landing which was fine by us. We like the exercise. We would return visit 😊 A removable solar blanket on the pool would help keep the water warmer. They had the pool vacuum running most of the time, which is not necessary. My husband was told the pool was closed after I already was swimming in it but then they turned off the vacuum and I continued to swim. It was in the 70’s but likely no colder than the ocean. On a hot day I’m sure it would be quite refreshing ! It was mid 60’s out and I found it invigorating
