Great value - The Hilltop Motel had clean rooms, comfy firm beds, fluffy towels, super clean and renovated bathrooms, good water pressure and nice hot showers. For a 2 star, really good value. Our family stayed there and were very satisfied.

• Kelly (8/5): - I liked the staff. Very nice front office staff, comfortable beds. Around grocery stores, and coffee. Enjoyed the smart tv so that we could sign into streaming services. I really struggled to lock the door from the inside each time. I felt it needed something more secure than a security chain.

• Mary (4/5): Room was clean , but lacking in anemities - No breakfast, we even had to ask for coffee mugs, went out & bought our own instant coffee. Had to ask for hair dryer…I liked it was very clean, comfortable beds… No coffee in room, no hair dryer, no coffee cups..

Was woken up at 9:30am when checkout isn't til 11, by the office phoning our room and then when I picked up and said hello, the person just said ugh and hung up.

• David (7/5): Researched the area for low priced accommodation and this one met our needs. Would stay again. - The facility was a basic motel, reasonably clean (very noticeable recent refurbishment). We simply needed basic accommodations without the exorbitant rates of hotels in the area. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and the room and outside area was quiet. My wife would have appreciated a hair dryer in the room.

Clean linens, TV and cable, decently large washroom with shower, some racks and drawers. Drain fly or two in the washroom, the cooling was a large and noisy fan unit inside.

Washrooms need exhaust , Ac is working but old style . Sometimes people dont know how to operate . No coffee, no milk provided . Just hot water kettle is available.

Extremely clean. We were given a renovated room. Close to gas stations,Tim’s,etc Don’t expect pool etc. But perfect for a nights stay

• Joan Ramon (6/5): Convenient for visiting Kingston - When we arrived, there was no Wi-Fi reception in our room, but the the person at the reception tried several options until he fixed it. The facilities were decent, but the price was really high for the value.

• derek (10/5): Will definitely come to stay at this motel again!! Awesome stay !! - The owner was incredible and very helpful and friendly and happily provided us with extra pillows upon request. Room was small but very cozy !! Bed was super comfortable. Pillows were below par but the owner provided us extra pillows which helped a little bit.

Only thing I would change is the curtains in the bathroom to blinds for more privacy Window curtains in the bathroom and above AC. Need curtains or blinds that offer more privacy

• Vikki (4/5): Basic but friendly, we will remember the stay as being 'authentic roadside motel' - The man on reception was friendly, we got a discount voucher for a nearby restaurant which was really good. The bed were small but comfy The location was a little rough, it seemed as though some of the guests were living there. The bathroom was very old and the furnishings very dated but it was clean enough and gave us an experience of a traditional roadside motel
