• Moniquej865 (4/5): Disappointed - The pillows on the bed were so soft I was highly disappointed first of all I booked this trip for my husband's birthday my husband loves the casino so I thought I would give him a surprise trip to the casino for his birthday and now I looked at a few different properties and I thought about getting a room at the casinos so I could just take a nap or relax while he's in the casino because I don't Gamble and I really didn't want to be driving from the casino to a hotel once I got tired because he'll be in there for hours but they didn't have an indoor pool so I ultimately chose this for the pool I get there and they tell me oh we need to fix the chemicals there's an imbalance so we're closing the pool right now you mean to tell me I paid 10 more dollars to stay at this hotel and have to drive 5 minutes away then just stay at the hotel at the casino all because of the pool and you guys close the pool then the woman at the desk had the most shitty nonchalant attitude towards discomfort plus she gave me my room key didn't even tell me which direction to go to find my room and I was already irritated so I just looked around and figured it out on my own. Then let's talk about the breakfast they had some decent options for breakfast but everything was so scattered out like stuff was behind walls I didn't even know they had some of the items so I already had made my plate with things that I really didn't want to then see some things that I would enjoyed but I being the type of person I am did not want to waste the stuff that I already had on my plate so I just ate that and really it was just a whole disappointing experience.

Check in person wasn’t friendly at all. She acted like she didn’t want to be there and was annoyed we had arrived. She was also training someone and wasn’t very nice to her either. The person being trained was very nice and I felt sorry for her. Check in people should be personable, warm, and happy to see guests. That’s never been my experience checking in at a Marriott property. The check out person was the opposite. Warm, bubbly, and glad we stayed.

We actually had a microwave which is normally the problem at others we don’t have one in the room so we was very happy about that , my little girl is autistic and she absolutely loved it and being outside at night , she was having such a good time she didn’t wanna go to bed, wanted to try the breakfast but unfortunately I was beyond tired because we was up till 5:30 lol , overall we had a blast , staff was very friendly, and loved the fact we didn’t have to checkout till 12:00 normally it’s 10-11:00 at others Loved everything there was nothing bad about it! :)

• 115ginnyw (4/5): Sleepy customers. - The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms and rest of facility was clean. The rooms had the standard stuff. Desk, refrigerator, etc. But if you like firm beds you may want to skip this hotel. Our bed was super soft and lumpy. Neither of us slept a wink. We tossed and turned all night. Some folks can sleep on any bed and that is fine, but not for us. We had a miserable day driving home being so sleepy. One other issue. There were two luggage carts. One was that small cart that holds practically nothing. The other was a standard cart you can hang stuff on but it was old and rickety. In the morning the carts were gone for an hour. After hauling all our stuff downstairs by hand and checking out I noticed a little sign saying the carts are equipped with GPS. So the clerk hopefully could track them down. My bad. I do wonder what was up with and where the carts were.

• 725ChrisS725 (2/5): Staff very rude and not friendly……Stay away - The male staff were rude and very abrupt when speaking to guests. We asked about possibly watching the tv in the lobby area and were told NO, we will only play the weather channel. There were seven of us staying and wanted to all sit together. They advised us to go to a bar or restaurant if we wanted to watch tv together. The morning breakfast was good, hot and tasty. The staff for the seating area were not friendly at all. We were sitting, again just the seven of us adults, over 50 enjoying conversation and coffee, and we were asked to leave, the advised us they needed to clean our table. Mind you we were the only ones there our tables were clear and it was an open room connected to the lobby. They told us if we wanted to chat go over to the couch area. Again there were seven of us and 4 seats available in the lobby area. I would not recommend this hotel, it really put a bad taste in our mouths for Marriott. Find somewhere that makes you feel welcome and appreciated for staying with them this Fairfield in Bristol is not the place. We have always leaned towards Marriott, we will be changing our go to, next trip.
• KBD87 (10/5): Great rest after a long day driving - We spent the night at the Fairfield here after a long road trip and had a great stay. Check in was fast and efficient. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet and the staff was competent. The beds were comfortable and the morning breakfast was good as well.

This rating would be a 10 except for the fact that there was no comfortable seating in our room. The only chair was a small (think waiting room) chair in the corner. If you are a person of size, it would not work for you. Thankfully, the bed was somewhat comfortable.

• H2346KKjanices (10/5): Highly Recommend Staying Here - We stayed here for one night on our way back from Maryland. As soon as we walked into the hotel we were impressed. It was very nicely appointed. We were greeted at the front desk and check in was easy. We were told that breakfast was from 6 am-10 am. We had a room on the 2nd floor. The room was clean, but small. It was adequate for the two of us. We had one King bed. The bathroom was spacious with ample counter space and a huge shower. The bed was firm but not too firm. The pillows were great. There were a lot of suggestions for breakfast; eggs, bacon, toast/bagels/muffins, oatmeal, cold cereals, etc. The food was hot and was tasty. Breakfast began at 6am, not later as at other hotels we stayed at. I would highly recommend staying here.
