Guest Reviews
- Richard (6/5): - Room was had a slight mildew smell wich im sure they will are working on staff in nice and seems to take care of any problems stayed here a couple weeks earlier and was in different room the smell might just be that room but it was pretty cheap and its in a quiet location 7-11 right next door
- Angelo (4/5): - Mostly clean bed and cleanish shower, did not get bedbugs. Room smelled terrible tho. Door lock was half-broken, walls and door were paper thin and there was lots of noise all night. Many people loitering around. Located right next to a schetchy 7-11. Staff was not hospitable, barely spoke english. Would not return
- Veronica (4/5): - Good location if you’re going to Busch Gardens but that’s about it. The rooms are scary looking like a crime scene. The smell of cigarettes is unbearable. The lighting is dim and the room is yellow from the stains on the walls and light fixtures. The bed is suspicious and the sheets are questionable. The shower was cool thankfully. There’s a small kitchen set up but it’s so tacky. The whole place is an eye sore.

- Jeff (1/5): I will never use you service again as you knew this was a dump, yet you kept it as an offering. - NOTHING! It was a sleazy place that you should have removed from your offerings a long time ago. It was 2 doors down from a strip club where hookers brought their clients. It was an open-air drug market. The place smelled like a stale ashtray. It was so bad that we relocated after 2 nights. Actually, we want our money back for the other 4 days! What a disgusting dump.
- Grier (10/5): Had no issues - All was good No issues
- Isabel (9/5): Superb -
- Kenneth (5/5): Passable -
- Joseph (6/5): Pleasant -
- Alexander (2/5): - I arrived and they didn't give me the room. They didn't know how to do the process with Expedia.
- Pyatt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacqueline (1/5): We didn't stay reservation was cancelled, the same day but I did not receive any part of my refund. -
- Micheal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Boyd (1/5): Bad - Staff was very rude and disrespectful didn't treat us like paying guests. The room was filled with spider webs and I didn't have an kitchenette and most definitely didn't get the room I booked online. I wasn't satisfied with the room at all
- Robin (6/5): Pleasant -
- William (6/5): Pleasant -
- Robin (7/5): Good -
- Nolan (10/5): - Courtesy of the staff and the proximity to a convenience to a 7-11 store for late night snacks.
- Ramme (2/5): Very poor - I made it threw the night. How do you check out an establishment and you get NO record of check out they tell you to call booking .com this will be the last time I us this service and will not recommend to friends and family.
- Robin (9/5): Superb -
- Goldstein (5/5): Decent but not impressive - Location is a rundown part of the city, no breakfast provided No hair dryer, only 2 electrical receptacles in the entire room. Light switch turned out all lights not just the overhead light.
- Eric (7/5): Good -
- Robin (7/5): Good -
- Robin (7/5): Good -
- Douglas (2/5): - Old motel that is iNOT well kept. Had toilet water leak from upstairs into my room. My room was 50 feet from a busy 7/11. A person worked on his car just outside my window from midnight to 2 AM.
- Clarence (3/5): Thought I was a hobo - Wasn't like it was advertised Look like a flat houseLook like a flat house
- Qaasim (2/5): - Disgusting all around
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great customer service and quick to take care of issues. Was able to park close to my room. There is 7-Eleven right next door, great for getting snacks and drinks.
- Leo (6/5): - Ok, little more attention on cleaning
- Ivory (2/5): Run fast - Old and crusty bed old no good tv channels dirty bedding never again
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Room was ridiculous disgusting. Had a female menstrual cycle stain on the comforter. dresser held together with screws hanging out. 3 weeks still waiting on my refund. with that being said 175 bucks for 1 night that i slept in my car with my kids. It was that to want to sleep in the car.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - You paid for what you got. Bed was clean. Room was clean.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Nice location. Next to a 7-11 store. 15 mins local drive to Busch gardens. 15 min local drive to Newport News city center. Hotel itself is below expectations compared to the price. Okay for just stay for a couple of nights.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing experience! Felt very homey.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Neighborhood is a little sketchy, but the motel was clean and comfortable.
- Ariel (8/5): Not for price - It was ok just the cleaning and fixing of the roim
- Verified traveler (8/5): Familiy reunion Staff were helpful - Comfortable enough
- Verified traveler (2/5): - JUST DON'T DO IT
- Kristina (6/5): For the price decent room - It was ok clean and bed comfortable
- JohnKBachmann (6/5): Check for a discount! - Besides the above, clean room, somewhat dated, door hard to close, next to a 7-11, no ice, no shampoo, nice staff, can’t really go wrong for the price.
Convenient to Ft Eustis and I-64.
Two flors with both smoking and non smoking rooms.
- Bre’Auna (2/5): - Too Noisey
- Mubashir (2/5): Flush problematic, dirty couches and chairs - Flush was not working at all. Imagine you are on a trip and you have to sit and watch getting flush fixed. The guy at front desk didnt have printer working so wasted another half hour standing. overall ridiculous
- Schoony2014 (6/5): Clean rooms, very good service - Low price but very good service. Room was spotless. Facility freshly painted. Staff was very attentive to our needs. I requested a room near another party - the manager put me next door! Asked if we needed more towels or anything else.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It looked gheto!! Its appearance looked like a white house
- Verified traveler (2/5): we did not stay at this hotel - room was full of smoke sense, bathroom out of order ,room had meldow etc.
- kimberlybJ5296FM (6/5): You get what you paid for - Room had a weird smell, like incense. Does not provide shampoo or conditioner. Doors don't automatically lock behind you, and the neighborhood was sketchy, so be mindful to lock the door. But it was clean. Bring some febrreze and you'll be ok.
- 980zacharyb (8/5): The Review you should read! - Okay, Now the property was small, a little dingy, but great room for the price, i paid 55$ a night and i know that people say you get what you pay for etc. but the room was spacious bathrooms were very clean, room smelt refreshing, i had a kitchenet and i had a stove top didnt use it though had no need, the shelves needed some screws but they worked the mini fridge was froze when i went in room defrosted it meaning just cut it all the way off then cut it back on a few hours later worked like a charm no leaks no bugs, beds were comfy i stayed two nights in a non smoking double the lobby closes at 11pm so if you needed something after then it was hard getting it but just ask for things ahead of time the guy thats running it was great he repeatedly asked me if my stay was going ok it always was, ac needs to be calibrated but it worked, for the price and quality it was very good!
- mch682015 (2/5): Who works? - Traveling on the interstate...sign said McDonald ; but when we got off it was 2.3 miles away...arrived around 2pm ..a few customers inside. We tried to order at the counter but the noise coming from employees not busy standing around the fr fryer were loud and totally out of control
For a work environment...the worker had to ask us a few times to repeat what we wanted ...other workers were lounging around in booths..some with their heads down sleeping? Not an enjoyable place to eat...and the fries were lukewarm at best, hamburger was dry ..asked for extra mustard but did not get it because the one employee actually working could not hear..
Usually like to stop at McDonald's while traveling but thankfully will not be nearby this one again.
