• marissa (7/5): Affordable and good place to stay - Very good location right in the middle of Sanur and short 4 minute walk to the beach. Good restaurants in the area. Generous sized fridge in room. Beds were comfy. Use of the pool at Swastiks bungalow next door was an amazing addition. The shower head needed maintenance, the toilet leaked and there was a constant pool of water behind the cistern

• Cecile (3/5): Déçu - L’accueil, le personnel de l’hôtel est très sympathique La chambre n’est pas dans un bon etat, les draps sont taché, les oreillers également et ils ont des auréoles. On entends les rats dans les murs et plafond, je me suis même demandé si ils était pas dans le placard. Concernant l’équipement, il n’y a pas de gel douche, ni de shampooing, ni de sèche-cheveux. J’ai trouvé plusieurs fourmis sur mon lit et des cheveux par terre, la propreté n’est vraiment pas au top, les toilettes ne sont pas propres et l’état de la chambre et de la salle de bains surtout méritent d’être refait

La gentillesse du personnel Chambre très vieille. Les draps tachées de partout. Rideau de douche taché et limite moisi. Le pire du pire des rats partout à l’entrée de l’hôtel. Je l’ai signalé aussi tôt et apparemment ils devaient faire quelque chose pour y remédier.

I would love some whole grain bread as a choice, but they give you eggs and toast and a big fruit bowl at the restaurant in front. You can have Mei or Nasi Goreng as well as choices TV had the best movie channels I've seen in Bali for a long time and reception clear. Lots of storage in room Great spot, I always prefer this part of Sanur Staff, nice and friendly types Private balcony is big Good hot water Use of pools at Swastika bungalows is great The aircon is freezing cold, no matter what I did. It's a good Daiken. If you like it cold this is your place. Brand new, not struggling yet, had to just use the fan setting overnight The room is a little tired, time for upgrade of the furniture, bed is a little lumpy, again time to upgrade Not much to dislike. It's good value for the area
• John (9/5): Great value for money in a central location. - The rooms are spacious and clean and although somewhat dated with a few outstanding minor repairs required they have been recently partly renovated and represent great value for money. There are only a handful of rooms with each having a spacious terrace with two chairs and a table overlooking a quiet and well maintained little private garden area and a further bonus is having access to the three swimming pools and grounds of the Swastika Bungalows next door. There are ample restaurants, minimarts and even the old Hardy's supermarket (now Artasedana) within walking distance and Karang Beach is an easy ten minutes walk away. Nothing really.

• A (8/5): Will stay again! - Great location. No pool in small complex however you can use of next hotel door pools. Restaurants near by. Nice breakfast. Lovely staff. Great to have lower ground room with no steps. Bathroom drains a bit smelly.

• John (9/5): Excellent value for money in a clean and comfortable hotel. - The hotel has been recently renovated and represents excellent value for money, particularly since it includes the use of the grounds and three swimming pools of the Swastika Bungalows hotel next door. The rooms are large with a lot of storage space, a large fridge, a good size TV with many channels, quiet A/C, trouble-free WiFi and we never sighted a single cockroach inside or outside during our month here which is very unusual in a tropical environment. Each room also has a little private terrace area with two chairs and a table that looks out onto a small but well maintained enclosed garden area which is far enough away from the busy Tamblingan Road to almost eliminate traffic noise. The breakfast was basically non-existent. There was neither a buffet nor a menu and it relies on questioning the staff as to what is or isn't available which was OK for me as my wife is local but the hotel needs to understand that many guests will neither speak English nor Indonesian. After getting my first basic order wrong and the toast in the second order turning up as slightly warm white bread we never ate there again, even though breakfast was included in the price, but fortunately there were many excellent breakfast options nearby so this wasn't a deal breaker.

• Gregory (6/5): Reasonable value for money in a convenient location. - The rooms had excellent TV options, a good-sized refrigerator, a bathroom with air vents, a small porch for relaxing outside, prompt cleaning service, and efficient staff. Also it is in a great location for shopping and for heading to the beach. Limited breakfast options, noisy street outside, no tea/coffee/cup/saucer/spoon/jug/knife/fork for making drinks or eating food purchased outdoors.

Staff friendly and gardens exceptionally well maintained. Room was OK but badly in need of repair to the bathroom. Showerhead was old and did not work properly. Soap holder was disgusting and needed replacing. Centre of sink drain missing and no plug. Mirrors on wardrobe were badly marked and bedding could do with replacing. It was clean and freshly laundered but had some staining.

I hope the other rooms were better cos with their no refund policy many people would just put up with this. We walked out. I understand that we got the hotel at a discount rate but we have paid less & got far better. The only positive thing I can say is the aircon worked

Clean room, large bed, decent WiFi. The sister-hotel Swastika, has a fantastic pool that you can use next door. With the pool and excellent breakfast this place is definitely worth its value.

Par contre, sur 5 hôtels visités dans Bali, c'est le seul ou les serviettes étaient remplacées chaque jour et le plancher lavé. Il n'y avait pas de fourmis, non plus. Peut-être qu'avec une chambre supérieure, l'expérience aurait été mieux.

• Nicholas (10/5): Best value in Sanur. - Have stayed here every year since 2007, love it ! Centrally located near Hardies supermarket, surrounded by dozens of eateries of all price ranges, lots of shopping stalls & a ten minute walk from the beach. Great pool & gardens. Rooms are well furnished, comfy bed, bed side tables, desk, chairs, lockable wardrobe & outdoor table & chairs on semi-private porch. I've always felt secure staying here, not afraid of leaving valuables lying around. Staff are fantastic, always greeted by name by the receptionist when I arrive ! The included breakfast is quite good for this price range, 2 eggs & bacon, buffet toast, fried rice/noodles, fresh fruits, pastries & choice of beverages. Rooms are serviced daily. The free wi-fi is excellent, faster & more reliable than other hotels I've stayed in that cost thrice the price.
• Greger (6/5): Fint poolområde på grannhotellet. - Ett slitet hotell. Det som var bra var att en fin frukost serverades i grannrestaurangen. Dessutom hade man tillgång till 2 fina pooler med många solstolar på grannhotellet. Det var samma ägare till allt. Hotellet låg centralt till närma allt, utom stranden som var ca 10 min promenad bort.
