I loved the fresh popcorn and coffee available at the breakfast area 24/7. The concierge gave me a plate of fruit which was very sweet. The room was lovely! Very clean, super comfy bed, excellent shower. I will be back. No notes

• Jessica (10/5): Beautiful hotel in downtown Calgary - It was a very nice hotel, excellent breakfast, nice gym facility. The view from the room was beautiful of downtown Calgary. It’s in a great location to walk to most places. The only thing I didn’t like was the curtains didn’t close over the sheers. The lights from downtown are pretty bright at night and it would have been nice to have black out curtains.

Постоянные атаки на кредитную карту, отель пытался снять непонятные суммы раз 20. Попытки разобраться на ресепшн ни к чему не привели, в итоге непонятно куда ушли 500 баксов и карта заблокирована. Полно наркоманов и бездомных и это центр города.
• Anastasia (8/5): A great value hotel in the heart of Calgary. - The breakfast was really good - I just wish there had been a bit more fresh fruit on offer. If you don't eat meat or eggs it's very carb heavy! The facilities were very clean, and while the room I was in was small it was clean and very comfortable. The location was great for being downtown - extremely walkable to BMO center, 17th ave, 4th street, and all other major downtown areas. There wasn't much I didn't like - the hotel was exactly as I expected it to be. I will say the gym was a little small for my expectations. It's really more of a cardio center than a gym.

El agua de a ducha se salía mucho hacia afuera (yo estuve en la pieza de discapacidad) pero creo si o si puede haber otra opción que no sea así tan peligrosa… tengo una bebé y tuvimos que agotar las toallas secando, lo otro es que el servicio de limpieza no sé qué pasó pero la chica no nos hizo la cama (le dijimos que si, solo que no cambiara las sábanas) en fin, el resto muy bien 🤍

We were late in requesting a late check-out but this was no problem and at no extra charge. The hotel was within walking distance to the bus terminal (catching a bus to Banff) and also walking distance to main downtown area, coffee shops, restaurants and shops in general. Concierge was very helpful in suggesting a store selling mountain/ski clothing within walking distance (MEC?) - great store! Nothing

I don’t really like large hotel rooms so this was perfect for me. I'm picky about pillows so really happy they had great ones. The Mexican restaurant next door was very good!

• 366kellic (10/5): Winter getaway - Stayed here for a few days, while in town for a hockey game. Be advised there is no parking on site, valet is an additional $40.00 per night. Otherwise you will have to find alternative lots or street parking. The street level entrance is locked, ring bell to enter. Reception is on the 2nd level. Complementary breakfast area is also on this level. Check in was efficient. The room was clean, with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, ironing board and iron, and a hairdryer. There was a small wardrobe closet with hangers. One side of the bed had a charging block, several outlets located in the room. Bed was comfortable. The complementary breakfast included a selection of breads, cereals, yogurt, waffles, eggs, sausage and hash browns. Fruit, fruit juice and milk. As well and tea, coffee and hot chocolate. There are several restaurants and bars nearby.

• M (9/5): Clean with fantastic staff - The room was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable as was the shower. The staff at the front desk and at the valet stand were fantastic, so friendly and willing to help. They got me a room with a great view of the Calgary tower and allowed me to store my bags for the day after checking out. Hotel is in walking distance of many sights and restaurants. Breakfast was okay, nothing special though. The temperature in the whole building was a little too high for my liking.

• Taniya (7/5): The staff was nice and was overall a nice stay except for the hassle with parking and the elevator. - The rooms were tidy and clean, and we had a nice view from the room. The breakfast was good. Due to its excellent location, we could explore the city with ease. Valet parking was really uncomfortable. We had to circle the hotel several times because there was absolutely no space to park our car close to the hotel. Additionally, there was only one working elevator (the other one was out of order), and we had to wait a long time for it.

It would be great if Canadian hotels offered family rooms with queen & 2 singles then the sofa wouldn't need to be used and rooms would be more spacious and functional.

• coralw222 (8/5): Nice hotel, avoid valet parking - I am a platinum elite marriott bonvoy member so try to stay with the Marriott chain when I travel. I wasn't sure what to expect from this hotel but was pleasantly surprised - rooms are clean and modern, the breakfast was terrific, and there were so many attractions within walking distance for ease. There was one significant drawback, as noted in previous reviews - and that is the VALET parking. It costs $38, and despite requesting our car 30 minutes in advance and promptly attending the lobby to get it, the staff member ignored our presence in the lobby with his back to us, then when we asked for our car, he walked us out a back door to the parking lot for us to go start and drive our car out of the lot ourselves while we also managed our luggage. It was shocking and disappointing to pay for the lack of assistance in the valet parking!
