Brenda (6/5): - It seems the air filters in the air conditioning systems all need to be replaced or cleaned. The smell of moldy ac hit you in the face as you entered the room. The light as we entered the room didn't work --- was it the switch or the bulb??? We were supposed to have a room with one bed, not two. This limited us in our space available for luggage and movement.

The shower walls were stained and dirty. They appeared to be short staffed but it didn't stop 2 of the employees from getting busy in the laundry room with the door open so everyone could see.

Doug (6/5): - Upon arrival a man was outside and smoking. I went inside and found nobody at the desk I went bak outside and asked smoker if he knew where desk person was. He told me he was the desk person and continued smoking. Finally he arrived inside. Towel rack broken. NO phone. No clock. No coffee maker. Large, ugly stain in carper in hallway. Eggs were terrible. No bananas. I did enjoy the hot water. For what I got, the price is too high.
Tina (2/5): - Many unsatisfactory issues with this stay. I had prepaid for my room on Expedia to avoid any issues. My room was double booked. I was moved to an unfinished room that smelled musty and moldy. AC only worked to increase the moldy smell in the room. Beds were very uncomfortable, and I'm not sure if the sheets were clean. The shower curtain was disgustingly dirty, and the complementary toiletries were awful. The television only had streaming that you would have to sign in to watch. I would not stay here again, I would have been better off sleeping in my car. The receptionist was nice but I felt like she had to switch my room because I booked on line. If you use any of the online booking companies be prepaird to get treated like your money is worth less when you pre book.
Linda (6/5): - When we first got there, the lady at the front desk was not welcoming. In fact, she was rude. She said she didn't have our reservation and couldn't find it and she hated 3rd party reservations and the were booked solid. I showed her my Itinerary number and after a few more negative comments, she said all ahe could give me was the handicap room. That was fine with us. Still rude as hell. The gentleman working the breakfast the next morning was so nice and attentive. He made sure everyone had exactly what they wanted.

JOSEPH (10/5): - Service desk help was extraordinary. The only problem we experienced was no hot water on the 2nd morning. Staff was very apolegetic and working hard to correct the problem. They could not have been more helpful.

Britt (2/5): - They canceled my 2 day reservation because I didn’t arrive the first night. Then the room I stayed I. Smelt like mold, the remote didn’t work, tv shut off randomly, and the room was super small.
Angela (8/5): - The only hotel in Mammoth Spring. Close to my family, but more expensive than hotels in neighboring cities. We've stayed here a few times. The hotel is starting to get dated and run-down in some areas. Overall a good place to stay for a night or two.
Jobe (4/5): - The room was clean, and could easily be a decent place to stay. To start the room was warm when we showed up, we thought the air probably just hadn’t been turned on until we rented it, no big deal. Turned the air down, and it did cool some, but it was a hot night. The air conditioning definitely needs fixed. The bathtub was missing a stopper when my wife wanted to take a bath, I called the desk and they did have a new one. The WiFi would not work the tv, ended up having to use my phones hotspot for us to be able to watch tv. The Toilet seat was broke/completely missing one of the bolts. No Alarm clock in the room. Most of the stuff wrong was small stuff, but a lot of it was things staff had to know about. You can’t clean a toilet without noticing the seat being broken and completely missing one the bolts that holds the seat on. You can’t pickup the tv remote without realizing it’s missing the back and batteries. And i seriously doubt you could clean the room without realizing the air wasn’t working correctly, especially if you had cleaned it multiple times. There were other smalls things, but it’s hard to list them all, I didn’t make a list, these are just things i remember. Also I told staff about most of the things when checking out. Staff was outside smoking on his phone, told me to throw the keys down on a ledge and just said ok.
Timothy (4/5): - Completely dissatisfied, arrived early afternoon to area to enjoy shops downtown and they were all closed by 2 pm. Area restaurants serve no adult beverages even though it is not a dry county. Room was right next to side door and stairwell that people slammed all night and stomped up the narrow stairs. Free breakfast in morning was feeble and coffee pot was empty. Location in no way matched description on Expedia website and I will likely never use Expedia again.

Verified traveler (10/5): Breakfast - Everything was great. Except they need a bigger and better breakfast. We have stay there often and they half raise the prices to the motel and cut the breakfast in half. But I like to stay there because its real clean and comfortable and we feel safe there.

Mary (6/5): - LOCATION: MS Lodge looks very nice in its location at the top of a hill. It is easy to find. STAFF: The check-in was easy; the desk clerk was friendly, welcoming and accomodating. BREAKFAST: Breakfast was very adequate but some foods and coffee were allowed to run out and were not replenished as well as they should have been. Hot items included scrambled eggs and sausage. There was a large plentiful variety of pastries. Breakfast hours are 7-9 a.m., I was told. ROOM: Our room was very clean but lacked some amenities. No coffee maker & no microwave. There was a refrigerator. The shower was tricky. TEMPERATURE CONTROL: We experienced no problems regulating the temperature and keeping the room temperature comfortable. GENERAL: NOISY! It was VERY noisy throughout the night. We were on the ground floor & could hear people in the room above talking loudly and constantly making loud noises long into the night--until 3-4 a.m. or so. It sounded as if they were constantly dragging and moving furniture around. LOUD thumps & bangs! A loud motorcycle parked just outside our window gave us our early morning wake-up call. PRICE: I booked through Expedia & paid a little less than $130 total. Not a great price but OK for an area with limited hotel accomodations.

Michelle (6/5): Good place to stay - Very grateful to find a place that has 3 queen beds so our family could be in one room. The room was spacious. The hotel was quiet, not in a busy area. We brought a small fan to drown out noises for our kids and they slept soundly. I'd stay there again but would bring a fan for the side of the room I slept on to drown out train and walking/banging noises probably from area below our room where there was wood flooring. Great options for breakfast. It was nice to have a freezer section in the room fridge.

Verified traveler (8/5): Was a comfortable stay. - Comfortable enough. No frills. Rooms have updates, but not all details are fresh. Some decor looks suspiciously 1990's, but it's 2025. Facility has either a damp smell or some kind of vinyl smell throughout. Staff is friendly and thoughtful. Place has a high top view. Wifi connection in room 115 was only good closer to the window. Good LTE connection on an Android, but not an iPhone. Location is crazy close to the park with the spring. For off season I thought the room rate was high for January.

Hannah (8/5): Good and bad - Great location and set up! Our room was very nice and spacious, but the mattresses were a little firm for my preferences. And it looked like someone had cleaned recently, but my feet got a bit dirty walking around, so they might have needed to sweep again after cleaning. The continental breakfast was just bad. There was plenty of food, but everything tasted stale, especially the cereal. And there was cold water in the hot water container. Hopefully they'll improve the breakfast soon.

Verified traveler (2/5): - We arrived about 8:30-9 pm (after dark) and were exhausted from driving all day. The desk clerk was very nice and asked if we wanted 1st or 2nd level. No elevator so we chose the 1st floor. As soon as we opened the door to the room we were blasted with cold air and a horrible odor. Not sure if it was mold or chemicals from a significant clean-up due to a flood or hazmat but it was bad. We were too exhausted to deal with it so we turned off the A/C that was set at 38! My refrigerator is set at 40! And we just went to bed. The room had no art on the walls but holes and patched holes that were painted with a different color. The bathroom looked old and had what appeared to be water stains on the bottom 1” of the door frame. The breakfast room the next morning had 2 other guests when we walked in but almost every table was dirty with crumbs and/or spilt..coffee? Something liquid. When we checked out I told the day clerk, also very nice, that there was something wrong with “that room” either moldy or chemical as I handed her our room keys. She seemed to know immediately which room I was referring to and said, “I wouldn’t have put you in that room.” I added that had we not been so tired I would have asked for a change and she said she wished I would have asked. I think something horrible previously happened in our room and it was NOT ready for a new guest. The odors greatly affected my asthma. Plus the dirty tables in the breakfast area, I won’t be back.

Sally (4/5): When needed, I would stay there again - I felt the bed was the best part. No coffee or clock in room. Floor did not appear to have been mopped, but at least did not have carpet. I went downstairs the next morning and got the last cup of coffee in the pot and observed several ants on the counter and floor. I booked the trip through Expedia and they could not find my reservation for several minutes. There are not a lot of places to stay in the area, so I would stay there again if needed. The parking lot was full of guest cars the next day

The room didn’t have a refrigerator, or coffeemaker. The light over the sink was burnt out, and we had problems with the tv connectivity. Lindsey (4/5): - We booked over 12 months in advance for $115. When we walked in after driving 4 hours with our family of 5, we were told that the owner raised the price to $195 for the night due to the eclipse. We said it shouldn’t matter, Expedia bookings are a contract. The gals at the front desk called the owner to talk with us. The owner argued that Expedia couldn’t know what the rates were a year out, but it let me book nonetheless. She told the front desk girls to cancel our reservation but there was a family of 3 behind us as well that also booked over a year ago and were told a much lower rate. The girl at the desk didn’t want to turn away two families who had no where else to stay in town, so she was able to talk the owner into letting us stay for $150. We are still baffled that the owner thinks she can just change a contract agreement on a whim and get away with it. This left us with a very bad taste in our mouth for the experience, but it was worth the hassle to see the eclipse at the beautiful state park across the street. As for the accommodations, the front desk was very kind and apologetic. They let us check out an hour later at no extra charge. The suite room was a spacious room and the lobby was nice and open. The building is dated and worn but serviceable. My husband noticed mice scurrying in the walls overnight but I thankfully did not. Breakfast was filling but not extravagant. The front desk had thoughtful eclipse treat bags and coloring pages for the kids.

MARIA (10/5): - Es muy buena opción para pagar la noche cuando vamos de paseo a Spring River. Las camas muy cómodas, las sábanas buenas, el baño limpio, todo funciona. Al desayuno le faltan huevos, pero hay opción de waffles.
