- Liudmila (10/5): серфинг в 2 минутах! - отличный отель! 1) локация: рядом находится супер серф школа rids, пешком по пляжу 200 метров. очень удобно добираться до спота в любое время. на повороте находятся кафе и игра в пиклбол, при желании можно дойти пешком за 15 мин 2) если захоте взять байк, то можно взять его в отеле. качество получше локал проката и удобно сдавать при чекауте — не надо ехать на точку и потом идти пешком/ брать такси 3) персонал отеля — топ. менеджер говорит по-русски. остальные управляющие хорошо говорят на английском. в сложном случае предложат воспользоваться вам гугл переводчиком 4) на территории 3 бассейна и ресторан с утра до вечера 5) персонал отеля может подстроится под персональные пищевые привычки и изменить немного меню для вас на завтрак. обычный завтрак тоже хороший, много фруктов 6) в отеле можно задать трансфер до/из аэропорта дешевле Grab. Также в отеле есть набор экскурсий 7) до красных дюн пешком 7 мин 8) территория достаточно большая, есть где поваляться

Anyways towels ger dirty so would thy not wash them anyway and I'm wondering if they charged others for their dirty couch. The towels were also way too overpriced for that town when we had to pay for it.

- Jakob (6/5): Pleasant - Beautiful area! A nice guarded beach on one side and serene sand dunes on the other side of the hotel. The landscaping of the hotel grounds are also mostly very beautiful and well-kept. The pool area is great! It was easy to rent a scooter from the hotel, and they were helpful with getting me picked up correctly by my airport shuttle. The area is prime for kite surfers! The nearby village has most of what one would need, and if you’re looking for seafood this area is the place for you. The village and the resorts east of it are, however, not very vegetarian friendly — though I would highly recommend taking a ride or scooter to the middle area of the main Mui Ne beach for dinners. The staff were friendly, but not overly attentive — likely due to the upcoming Tet holiday. Housekeeping came at 08:35, and also the following day, despite having been told that 1) it was much too early, and 2) that I had no need for it. The dining area by the pool closed and turned off the lights at 22:00 sharp, and when I asked if there were any other places I could continue reading or have a drink I was informed that there was not. No bar open till late as advertised on the website. Breakfast from 06:30 to 09:30 is very un-resort-like. Most people come to relax. It was also underwhelming in quality — especially the two first days. The workout room was.. lousy. Despite having a great location almost on the beach, most of the very little available equipment is rusty. Missing several details as indicated online, including no fully stocked minibar, no seasonal fruit basket. The villas are nice-looking, very clean, but the fact that the entry and bathroom area is not air conditioned and has open vents straight out was not very pleasant. The bathtub looks great, but having a hot bath in a humid room is not very appealing. There was an understandable focus on the upcoming Tet-holiday, but given they were open and had but a handful of guests, the visitors should still get their full experience they are paying for — which is among the highest in the area.
- Ina (9/5): If you enjoy quiet evenings and a beach for yourself, this is for you! - The direct access to the beach is great, also we had the beach to ourselves. The breakfast offers a good variety of food and you eat outside next to the pool in the shade which is very nice. The room was spacious and we had a good view onto the water. The resort is a bit outside of Mui Ne and therefore it is more quiet and less crowded (something we enjoyed a lot); there are still some restaurants within walking distance but it is better to have a motorbike or get a ride. Some things are a bit run-down, however, it is not surprising given that you are that close to the sea (beach/sand/saltwater). There's a big construction zone for another hotel or a new part next to the resort.

- Head (7/5): Nice enough and a great location, if you want to stay somewhere decent on a budget, great option. - It was OK, busy weekend there as it was a holiday in Vietnam, all in all I would probably go back there. The resort is right on the beach which is nice and it is not to far from restaurants and bars, it is focused on local tourism which is a plus and a minus. Room was nice enough and resort was fine, I like to have a gym, there is not one at this resort and food offerings are slim but as I said close to lots of other options. For the money we paid on a very busy weekend I think it was all pretty good.

- Padraic (6/5): Nice place but they should not have charged us extra for the new room because I showed them my booking said our room had - Some Nice rooms but some very outdated Booking.com advertised a room with bath tub and balcony and I paid extra to booking to upgrade and when we arrived we were given a smaller older basic room with no bath tub or balcony. The staff made us pay more money to move to a nicer room. Our friends who paid less and didn’t upgrade were all given nicer rooms than us when they checked in. It was very frustrating and took over one hour to get our new room.

Resort but no restaurant, no bar, no pool, no food services, nothing but a dirty room, mold, broken table, no air conditioning, no lamp, no hot water. Trip advisor should refund my money. I should take this matter to my legal advisor. Trip advisor screwed our dream vacation, Should stop hurting your customer.

- Geoff (2/5): Awful place - The hotel is sitting in between two construction sites and tbh doesn't even look finished itself. There were empty planters outside the lifts filled with cigarette buts. Bathroom was mouldy. Walking through the grounds there were exposed wires where I assume lights were meant to be. During the night woke up sweating and realised the power in the building had gone out and there was no aircon. At this moment immediately booked the first transfer away from this place at 7am.
- Phu (3/5): It was a surprise! Dont trust photos on Booking! - The location is nice and the receptionists are helpful. 1. The facilities are so bad and rustic for a 4-star Resort. Everything about this place is not 4-star by any means. 2. My room’s AC was broken and I asked the hotel to switch room because it was scorching hot and surprisingly they held a techno party just outside. Can’t rest at all! 3. I finally had my room switched but this new room is not classified at “sea-view” as I have booked earlier. The room smell so bad and again, the AC worked only for an hour and then it broke down in the middle of the night. It was a terrible night! Next morning I complained and asked them to come and fix it. Turned our nobody showed up until my check-out

- Zoe (8/5): Very good - The staff is extremly friendly and helpful. They even help us to book a train ticket! :) For europeans it might not reach the expectations of a 4 star Hotel, but all in all it is a nice place to stay at.

- Nora (10/5): Very good - We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Staff. Was super helpful, especially Kim who helped us book a full day tour with less than 24 hour notice. She was always available to help us which we really appreciated! Only thing that would take down the rating is the food. It was not great but we found some things we liked! Just something that’s good to have in mind if you want high quality food. Other than that we had an amazing stay! The room was super clean and fresh! Can absolutely recommend the full day tour but remember to take out cash before because there aren’t many ATMs close to the hotel. Will definitely come back when I visit Mui Ne!

She helped with getting food poisoning medicine and confirming our sleeper bus pick up! Thank you Kim for making our stay amazing. The food at the resort is super delicious, fresh, with good cocktails to accompany every meal! Amazing facilities, and a super comfortable bed which truly elevates the experience at Sandunes Resort & Spa!

- Caroline (9/5): Nice Resort and great Service! - 2 nights in bungalow with seaview Staff and service was extraordenary. Special thanks to Kim! Very nice Resort. Pool is great and the red sundunes are nearby. I recommend the Jeep tour which is offered by the hotel. The shower. Water was leaking into the room, so the floor was wet and dirty after taking a shower. I recommend the bathtube instead.

- Kristine (8/5): Don’t skip Mui Ne - There weren’t a lot of guests so it was pretty dead. I can’t speak for the rest of the rooms but we had a decent view from ours. Our shower drained everywhere but down the shower drain so our bathroom was constantly flooded which was pretty gross. Our air conditioner went out one night and it was too hot to sleep but thankfully the hotel was quick to come fix it. We had a customer service helper who was amazing. She was very attentive and helpful. I would go back just for her. Could take or leave the hotel though. The grounds are nice and the pool is very large. It’s fun to walk the beach looking for shells but the ocean didn’t look swimmable…strong rip tides and constant waves.

Et minutt er hotel har kun en type/størrelse på putter. Den er for høy og dette gjorde at jeg sov dårlig. Grønn og pent ved bassengområdet. Bør være flere solseng i høysesong. 3 minutter å gå til flott strand. God frokost, mye å velge mellom. -
- lararA6938RD (4/5): Dissappointing - The pictures of the hotel are very old! The hotel in general needs a renovation. At first we thought we were at the wrong hotel. Please make new fotos so that the guest know what they book, otherwise it is a total scam! Breakfast ist ok, not much offers for vegetarians. The beach ist dirty and full of waste, nobody cares. Definately take a towel. Sunchairs are dirty. DO NOT RECOMMEND A STAY AT THIS HOTEL!
- haydenr624 (6/5): Good at the surface level but could use work - The experience was okay for what we paid - we were charged $40 USD per night for an ocean view room and were given a free upgrade to a private bungalow which was wonderful. On the one hand, the beach was nice (no swimming allowed, though and most chairs had no cushions) and the pool was very big (but the water was dirty). We were treated incredibly well by the staff, with constant checking to make sure our stay was okay. We were even given two free foot massages in the spa. The restaurant was just ok - the free breakfast had a large selection, but a lot of the buffet was concerning (meat that was sitting at room temperature for who knows how long) and for a hotel that didn't have many guests, as far as we could tell, there was so much food that I wondered how much of it was old. The dinner menu was so big I was also worried about how much of it was frozen or old ingredients. The room itself was very beautiful and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. However, the patio had no furniture, so the space was wasted on us. Additionally, the bathroom shower and tub both leaked profusely so the whole floor was soaked after a quick shower. The location was not great, we ended up renting a scooter to leave for meals because the hotel restaurant was definitely not the best option we had. Overall, I think this hotel could be great if some serious work was done on the facilities and rooms.

He arranged the tours and communicated with the driver and ensure i reached on time. He is very friendly and speaks and understands basic English. 6 stars for David. Perfect place for families with a private beach. The beach front view is awesome. The location was a bit far off from the central area of MuI Ne (about a 10-15 mins away). There are no convenience stores nearby unless you travel down to the central area. No grab was available. Only taxi is available.

Værelse med seaview har åbent gangareal udenfor så folk fra andre værelser kan gå forbi og kigge ind, total forkert. Pool ligger ved restaurant, ikke godt hvis man skal slappe af pga folkemængden og larme. Der er også mange events som bliver holdt om sommeren hvor der spilles højt musik.

- Tien Duong (6/5): Old and rusty resort - This resort has good position, close to the beach and the red sand dune. They got high potential to be attractive, yet their facilities, design and maintenance are not compatible, for example the air conditioner is rusty, run loudly; the swimming pool is so green it look like algea could grow. The breakfast was the worst in any kind of resort whatsoever - from food quality, serving code and surrounding hygiene. The room service is quite good 😅. My recommendation is to exert serious renovation to avoid losing customers.

- 62trat (4/5): Location far from everything, facilities in poor condition, totally not deserves 4-star rating - I selected this venue for my family trip in a short notice. I have to admit that i did not carefully review all the aspects. Location is the most inconvenient, if you dont have private car, dont even think about this hotel, taxi will make you broke. As of Jan 2020, all around area is under construction, thus very dusty and looks really ugly. Reception area looks cheap. Our bungalow was not expected vs picture on website. Bed sheet, towel were not white and smell chlorine badly, wooden floor chipped, broken sofa bed in my parents room. The light was not well set up, too dimmed. We arrived in Jan 2020, beach was not ideal for swimming. Swimming pool is big and but looks really dirty like not being cleaned for long long time. The floor near the pool bar is covered roughly with some thing shape which cut my feet. :(( Breakfast is a plus with quite good food; staffs are attentive and quickly pick up used plates. We booked this place with rather high price but the most disappointed is that the price dropped off just the day after. Feel like being cheated. Overall, this hotel is not value for money, not recommended and will not come back ever.
- annawG7003ZW (4/5): Once beautiful resort now fading - This resort could be a true gem on Vietnamese shore. Only thing missed is luck of regular maintenance. We spend 4 nights in bungalow. Positives : spacious, stylish, comfortable bed and bedding, comfy sofa, tv, tea @coffee maker, cheap minibar, nice outdoor patio. Negatives: mold on all walls around room up to 1 m, broken tiles in bathroom, missed grout, mold in shower cabin, dirty mirror and wall tiles, smell from toilet, old , chipped furniture. Outdoor: very nice garden, big swimming pools, beautiful beach. But... beach is full of rubbish, never cleaned, sun chairs are old and broken with dirty cushions. Pools have missing tiles, broken grout, cushions are dirty. Restaurant offer buffet breakfast, but every day was less of fresh food and more leftovers from yesterday dinners. Lunch and dinner menu was big from soups, salads, sandwiches, seafood etc. Some of dishes was a big mistake. I have to say that staff at main reception was very helpful, polite, trying to do their best for customers. Also cleaning staff was very nice. But restaurant crew need some training. They like to forget your order or don`t bother with client. You don`t like your food? Oh well, deal with it.
- jackytansg (10/5): Best Beach Resort in Mui Ne! - It is best to experience Mui Ne with a stay in a beach resort that has a fine beach, Sandunes Beach Resort fits the bill! Do visit its private beach area at 6am to catch the sunrise from the seas directly in front of you. The breakfast was great and dinner on first night was okay. 2nd night dinner was much better. The service staff were very patient and helpful. They also helped us to arrange a day trip to Mui Ne. The pool has three section, 0.7m, 1.5m and 1.8m. Warm and refreshing! The spa massage was amazing too!

As well as others, when i was in Sandunes with 15 dutch lawyers for a course. Never had more help regarding the preparation of the conference hall. The service is outstanding and i was gladly surprised when i got my semi/bungalow, large and clean.

On a même eu droit à des cafards dans la chambre !!!! - Mtan9 (4/5): Just ok - Hotel room is ok. With balcony. Our bedsheet had some dirty stain. And we did managed to change a cleaner one. Around 7 minutes walk from hotel to red sand dune. Hotel restaurant "restaurant parakite " serves good food. We had our lunch and dinner here. And they served good breakfast buffet as well. There are also other restaurants and mini grocery shop nearby the hotel. Money changer also available at hotel reception. But hotel receptionist were not being too friendly. And never smile. We refused to surrender our passports to the hotel when they requested us to do so and said they will return to us the next day we check out. They explained this is their rules here but we just don't feel secure to let them keep especially they are just strangers for us. We managed to get back our passport with us upon checked in but the staffs just showing some black faces. The hotel also offered us a tour package where the driver will bring you with Jeep to some tourist attractions such as fairy stream, fishing village, white sand dune and lastly drop you at red sand dune and asked you to walk back to hotel. We werent happy at the beginning of this tour as the first driver drop us at a place and wanted us to get into another driver's Jeep to continue our journey. After a few minutes, the second driver stopped at a roadside to get some drinks and smoke and we just waited in the Jeep for like ten minutes. When we arrived white sand dune, we started to feel scam everywhere. Jeep driver supposedly can drive up to white sand dune, but he just drop us at the ATV station where they will want you to pay in order to get to the top of sand dune. And you have no choice but to pay because it is so so so far away. You just can't walk to the top unless u have plenty of time. And the charge is not cheap. (I can't remember the exact charge but it is around one hundred plus in ringgit Malaysia for two pax if not mistaken) Not really satisfy with the stay here.
- princessmillia_2018 (6/5): 4-Star resort great for families - We stayed at this resort as part of a tour. The facilities are a little outdated and low pressure shower. Reasonable facilities - small gym, outdoor pools, restaurant, pool bar and a spa. For a massage it costs around $350,000 dong for 60mins at the spa. Would recommend getting a massage at the beach within walking distance from the resort costs around $100,000 dong for 60mins. Not only is it cheaper but it is much cooler with the sea breezes versus stuck in a small room without air con. The staff at the beach also seemed friendlier than at the spa. Restaurant food ok buffet breakfast with good selection of salads, Vietnamese cuisine and fresh fruit, coffee and juice.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Good value for money - Overall good value for the money. Breakfast was decent, and the beach was really nice. It's not really within walking distance of the town of Mui Ne, but it's right next to the red sand dunes. The condition of the room left a little to be desired. There was some pretty obvious water damage on one of the walls in the room, and the shower didn't heat up quickly (not a huge problem in Vietnam heat, though!).

Though the weather was unfortunately raining for 2 days in my entire stay so that I failed visiting the dunes. But it wasn't their fault, surely. I was entertained by their 3 pools and the cute beach. Besides, I got upgraded to the sea view. What more can I ask? The breakfast buffet was more than I expected because there were many options of yummy food. The downsides were first although there was a bathtub in the bathroom, unfortunately I wasn't able to use it due to the hot water didn't run out so well. Even it was not warm enough for the shower, let alone for the bathtub. They really should fix this hot water problem. And second, the location is too far from anywhere. Had to take overpriced taxi to get there
- Verified traveler (6/5): Too Quiet - The hotel in pictures look great because it's on the beach but the best part ends there. The resort is across from the Red San Dunes but that's all there is for activities. The location is far from everything. We had to drive about 10 minutes to get into town for some seafood. Each time we went to eat, we spent about $5 to town and $5 back, twice a day, each day. At the pool, we asked for a Pina Colada, which is on the menu, but the bartender did not know how to make it. At night, the hotel had constant black outs, about 5 times while we were there for 2 days. The hotel itself seems run down and needs maintenance. There is no form of entertainment provided by the hotel even though we were far from all the night life; unless a gym and kids play area count. So if you are here for a quite time and just the beach, this place is okay but for us, it was too quiet and too far from everything.

While it might not be along the main stretch of the town, it is directly opposite the red sand dunes and right at the beach as well. Will definitely return to this hotel when back in Mui Ne.

- Traveller (6/5): Close to a dirty beach and Red Sand Dunes - It is close to a beach far away from the crowd. So if peacefulness is what you want then it is good. However, the beach is dirty. but good if you want to sun tan as they have nice lounges beside beach. Food wise, you can walk out and to the left of the resort is a row of food stalls tho they are not fabulous. It will be expensive to keep cabbing to the town where all the food and hype are. Being close to Red Sand Dunes is a good thing, however, you probably wont be going to Red Sand Dunes too often. check out the fairy stream as it is quite interesting and nice. The best thing about the resort is the view from the main block looking over the bungalows. So for this reason, i wouldnt recommend staying in a bungalows as view is better from on top the main block. Just make sure u choose the side that faces the bungalows.
- KENTA (8/5): - レッドサンデューンがすぐ近くて、子供と気軽に遊びに行けました。 ホテルのプールはリゾートらしく大きめで、プールバーも機能してます。 部屋の清掃は人によって綺麗だったり、イマイチだったり。風が強いので多少砂がはいってくるのは、仕方ないかなって感じです。 宿泊客はロシア人が多数でした。それにあわせて朝食は洋食メインです。 メインエリアから離れてるので、中心で過ごしたい人にはおすすめできません。 中心部までの交通ですが、タクシーだとシンツーリスト付近から片道10万ドン前後。 他に市内バスが走ってます。同じルートを行ったり来たり走ってるので、乗りたいとこで乗り、降りたいところで降りるスタイルです。 ホテルから中心まで16000ドン位？車掌の言い値で若干幅があります。ボラれたりしてるかもしれませんが、タクシーに比べれば遥かに安いし個人的には納得。 車体が赤いバスと水色のバスがあり、赤いバスはホテルの左側にある土産物屋みたいなところが発着場所のようです。

Bad smell and ants in my bathroom. Very big breakfast buffet but few things that I liked on it, perhaps aimed for the many Russians. Two big and nice pools and a beautiful private beach although the beach was windy with high waves most days. Far away from ham tien where there is good restaurants and bars and people.

The restaurant was lacking creativity and tasty Vietnamese food but was easy to eat at because of the lack of other places to dine at in the area. The one downfall was the gym. While it was advertised as a full gym facility, it lacked all useful and working gym equipment and a working air conditioning unit. For a beach holiday, it was a good place to stay.

- Scott (4/5): Needs some VERY serious work....... - I have to say, this hotel experience was unacceptable. I don't complain that often, and I can lower my standards when necessary, but there were a lot of things that I just couldn't let slide here. First and foremost, the beach and the swimming area for the resort were absolutely FILLED with garbage. On the first day, my wife and I went for a walk on the beach, and actually almost came back in tears, as we saw nothing but piles of garbage bags, 50 feet to the left of the hotel beach. Clearly, the hotel may be using this as a temporary dumping area during slower times? Either way, totally unacceptable. The swimming area was filled with Plastic bottles, bags, old flip-flops, and various other garbage. The neighboring beaches were no better......GARBAGE EVERYWHERE. We didn't swim in the water, as we felt it was just too dangerous from all the pollution. The room had several problems on arrival. A blind in the bathroom that was not attached properly, and fell on my wife, a bathroom door that wouldn't close, a deadbolt that didn't work. I called immediately about the dead-bolt, and despite a promise to send someone in 15 mins, nobody came to fix. Much of the staff was not pleasant. The breakfast was cold and other than the omelets, totally unappealing. We asked how to get to red dunes at front desk, and they wanted to sell us a 4 hour jeep tour. Red dunes right across street. Clearly the pics on web are misleading. We were very disappointed and would never return.

- Su (8/5): Beautiful view and close to beach - Very nice and clean hotel. Our room was comfortable and clean with great seaview. Good breakfast spread and the food was nice and tasty. A bit far from main town in Muine but there are simple restaurants about 5 mins walk from the hotel. We do enjoy our stay there. My only problem with the stay was the lack of security of holding our passports during our stay. The staff literally left our passports in a folder on their table where there's open access. It'll be less worrying if management can keep passports under lock and key or consider taking copies of our passports for room security.

- Charmaine (10/5): Amazing Resort (Highly recommended) - We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are huge, clean and pretty. There is a swimming pool and plenty of tanning beds to get yourself a nice tan. Theres also quick access to a beach which encapsulates everything a resort whould have. On top of that, the breakfast has a wide range and the hotel staff are the most hospitable ive came across so far. Do come. tôt!

I stayed in room 1308 and the walls in the hallway somehow made me feel discomfort. The restaurant food is not on my reommendation list. Other than that, I liked the resort a lot.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Fint hotell, men en bit ifrån staden - Personalen var väldigt trevlig och service minded, men deras språkkunskaper vad gäller engelska var bristande och det var därav svårt att kommunicera och förstå varandra. Hotellet var oerhört fint med härlig utsikt över havet. Härligt poolområde med bar i poolen. Dock ligger hotellet väldigt långt ifrån staden Phan Tiet, ca 30-40 minuter med bil, vilket kan vara värt att tänka på om man inte vill ligga på stranden varje dag. Runt omkring hotellet finns det inte mycket mer än skjul där byborna bor och öppnat upp vad de nog skulle kalla "affär" och "restaurang". I "affärerna" säljs dricka och chips typ. Och restaurangerna serverar givetvis mat. Mestadels fisk. "Välutrustat gym" skulle behövas omdefinieras. Det var inte mycket till gym för den som är van vid skivstänger och tunga vikter. En crosstrainer och någon annan enstaka "maskin" samt hantlar finns tillgängligt. Gratis wi-fi, men oerhört segt när det är som mest nödvändigt att användas (kvällstid).
