• Stephani (7/5): Overall good - The staff were helpful and friendly, they arranged all airport transfers efficiently. The bed was comfortable and all linen and towels were clean and great quality. The bathroom could use an update as it is a bath/shower combination with a shower curtain. It was a bit musty smelling so perhaps the carpets could be changed or cleaned better. The breakfast would be better if they offered freshly prepared eggs and proper yoghurt - the yoghurt there had a lot of artificial colourants and very watery.

I was made to feel welcomed and valued by every staff member throughout my stay. The food was ok - but not brilliant, and service a little slow at breakfast.

• Lisa (8/5): - We only needed the hotel room for a few hours before our 1:30 am flight out of KGL. Room was large, clean, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel shuttle to airport was provided free of charge. Our only complaint would be the poolside restaurant wasn't very good as far as the food quality and the service was really slow.

The bathroom is completely outdated – part of the bathtub and the bench are coming loose. While the room is clean, everything is very old and worn out.

• Wayne (8/5): It’s ok - Ok stay, great airport shuttle pickup. Rooms and hotel is dated, motion sensor lights in room were annoying and needed to be switched off so we could sleep. Gym was ok but very busy, breakfast was ok, staff weren’t that friendly at breakfast but the guy cleaning the rooms was super nice. Also, checkout is 11am but our key card stopped working at 9am or so. Fair price and good enough.

The room was most comfortable. The location of the hotel was great for my purposes. Nothing I can think off could be better.

• Daniel (6/5): Not worth it - The hotel pick up at midnight was confusing. The driver did not display my name visibly and it took me 1/2 hour to find him. Once I got to the hotel the check in was efficient and friendly. The room was very large but the shower was old and only had warm-ish water. No hot water. The desk set up had a computer on it that took up most of the desk. The outlets for your computer are under the desk but required disconnecting things that were plugged in. The air conditioner was very loud but it helped cool the room down. Service in the pool restaurant took forever and the service was not at all friendly. The food was not very good. For the money I saved I should have stayed at the Radisson Blue. This hotel is ok but not for the price. I won’t be staying here again.

• Mariline (8/5): Nice executive suite - We had the executive suite and it was very beautiful, spacious, clean and well equipped. There is a nice pool. Good staff a the restaurant and bar. We wanted to extend our stay but the lady at the reception told me that we couldn’t get the same price then on booking. We argued for a while and decided to go somewhere else. When we got in the room and started packing, she called and finally agreed to give us the Booking.com price… We used the room service a few times but the service price they asked for was higher then in the menu and they didn’t want to respect the price written in the book.

• Hanrong (10/5): Good hotel but the wifi do need to be improved. - The hotel is near the airport, very quiet at night. Good room service and free airport pickup. Very friendly staff with a speedy response. The room is clean. Swin pool and restaurants in the hotel. Bar and restaurants nearby. The wifi is really bad in every room. The transportation service can be very expensive, you need to argue aggressively for the price. You can refer to Yego app for a reasonable price and negotiate with the driver, but still, they are much more expensive than taking a Yego cap.

• Lloyd (4/5): Not good enough for the price they charge - I stayed there 16 days while teaching in Kigali. I chose this hotel because when traveling with my associate. We needed two beds and this was the only hotel in the area that showed two on its website. I should have done more checking. The Air conditioner blows either ice cold or tropical warm. There is no in between. The bed is not bad but only option for covers were single sheet or heavy comforter. Some days the water heater worked, some days it was a water warmer. The key continually failed to work snd staff kept saying I didn’t know how to use the key and argued with me when I wanted a new key. The tv only has 12 channels. 4 of those are non-stop football. Why would anybody want to watch the olympics? Room service not bad. Breakfast not bad but they only get in new pastry a few days a week. They do have a business center but the staff do not want to open it for you to use. Instead, give them your wifi name and password and they’ll print it for you. The staff was very helpful when I needed it. One of their staff walked me a half-mile through the streets of Kigali to the bank and waited for me to walk me back. There is security at the front entrance with a scanner and metal detector but when they ask you to submit, if you ignore them they do not insist. I wish now that I has stayed at Chez Lando (half mile away) instead. I will next year

Bath water wasn’t very hot but okay. Surprised by extra features in room like bathroom scale and keyboard with monitor. Plenty of drinking water available but only tea, not coffee in my room. Bed super comfortable. I would stay here again.

Martin was superb at communication. Our only complaint was the morning desk clerk abd getting our results from covid test. Do it yourself!! Don’t wait for hotel staff. Just go online and check yourself.
