- Alana (9/5): - O apto é novinho, mas tive problema com o chuveiro que não esquentava as vezes e o ar condicionado que não estava funcionando( acho que era o controle). Como das vezes que sair para a rua não tinha ninguém, não consegui resolver isso. A localização é ótima!

- Mara (7/5): Molto da rivedere, ma per turismo è ok. - Centralissima, c'è l'ascensore anche se piccolino. La camera a me assegnata era molto grande. Doccia grande. Iniziamo con la ragazza all'accoglienza, non si può definire cordiale, ne all'arrivo ne alla partenza. La reception fino alle 18, poi per qualsiasi cosa bisogna rivolgersi al portiere. Il letto con materasso ormai sfondato, presenta proprio avallamenti. Cuscini raso materasso. Sei di cortesia ridicolo, bustine con shampoo e doccia schiuma che se non stai attenta ad aprire si rovesciano. Non ho foto, ma il giorno di arrivo, anche se la camera ci è stata data un'ora prima, erano presenti dei "residui" sul water. Inoltre per tenere i bagagli dopo il check out ci hanno chiesto 5 euro. È vero che era scritto, lo avevo letto e avevo chiesto conferma all'arrivo, però mi sembra un po' troppo un approfittarsi calcolando che i bagagli erano chiusi in un bagno che loro aprivano con chiave.

- Paula (6/5): The location was incredible but the facilities and cleanliness could definitely be improved. - The location was fantastic, a lovely area that felt very safe and welcoming. The walls were paper thin, you can hear every word of conversations people were having in other rooms. It didn’t feel very clean and the bathroom was very old with mould in it. The place felt very dated and needs a refresh, the big heavy mirror literally fell off the wall while we were sleeping.

Lo malo.. esque no pusieron agua . Pero bueno bien. El recepcionista era un encanto, agradable. La localización está bien por qué está cerca de todo , lo malo.. esque justo en esta habitación donde me hospedé, enfrente estaban TODAS las discotecas, asique dormir no pude dormir muy bien . Se escuchaban los chillidos, camino al hotel , nos paraba todo el mundo y era un incordio

- Massimo (4/5): Che casino sotto casa!! - La posizione centrale (se la tua stanza non affaccia sulla strada ....) Ci sono una discoteca e un pub aperti fino alle 6 del mattino che richiamano centinaia di persone che si fermano a vociare sotto le finestre delle camere lato strada (li senti fino alle 2-3 di notte quando entrano e poi alle 6 quando escono). Il check in dovrebbe essere fino alla mezzanotte, ma dalle 18 ti rimbalzano tra un piano e l'altro dello stabile (a ogni piano c'è un hotel/hostal differente) prima di riuscire a trovare qualcuno; questo, nonostante conoscano il tuo orario di arrivo che devi comunicare prima di arrivare. Anche la suite standard non vale 200€/notte. Sul deposito bagagli a pagamento stendiamo un velo pietoso!

- Karolina (3/5): Zou niet adviseren - Locatie was top. Personeel ook aardig en heeft ons goed geholpen. De kamer was erg vies en slecht onderhouden. Vieze douche met schimmel, kussens en beddengoed met vlekken, haren van vorige bezoekers en alles verouderd en aan het vervanging toe. Lift was ook heel ouderwets en werkte nog maar net. De kamers zijn super gehorig. Je hoort iemand douchen en zelfs rustig lopwn in de gang. Onze verblijf hier was absoluut niet prettig, zeker niet voor die prijs.

- Ulrike (8/5): Zentrale Lage und sehr saubere Zimmer - Die Lage des Hostels ist sehr zentral und in der Gegend sind viele Frühstückscafés. Man kann viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zufuß erreichen. Zimmer und kleines Bad waren sehr sauber! Die Wasserleitungen waren sehr laut, wenn nebenan (im Mehrbettzimmer) geduscht wurde.

- Elizabeth (6/5): Mixed were the bad outweighed the good. - Wonderful location, in that it was close to dining, theater, and the Prado Museum Our room was very small and of the 3 possible electrical outlets only 2 were functional. There seemed to be almost no insulation in the shared walls and for our first night, with loud neighbors there were only 3-4 hours when it was quiet enough to sleep. This is not acceptable.

- Yuri (7/5): Good for a one night stay. - We liked the locarion, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was ok, simple but clean and with the necessary facilities... All was fine, till we went to sleep. We left the door of our balcony open, and till two o'clock AM we could not sleep. Not because the neighbours were specially noisy, no, they just talked. Not shoutes, not cried, not music...Just talked. But the acustic was terrible. We heard not only voices, but practically every word. Finally, we closed the balcony door. It helped, but not much.
- Lydia (3/5): I would not recommend Hostal Madrid Star and will not be staying there again - It was in a central location so you are able to walk to most things Hostal Madrid Star was incredibly basic and not particularly clean. One of our towels was stained; the door to the shower room was warped; the shower wasn’t properly fixed to the wall; the floor on the bedroom had warped (clearly from some kind of leak); the kettle had been used to heat milk by previous guests which made me ill and there staff seemed to know about this but there was no apology. The location was central but there are 2 to 3 night clubs in Very close proximity so it was incredibly noisy and we were unable to sleep.
