• Angela (8/5): Great stay for a birthday getaway - The room was huge, clean and had a lot of kitchen items you need to cook and eat. AC worked well, water pressure was great. The location was excellent, as you are steps away from the beach and we could open the blinds to see it. Parking is very tight but they do have an overflow lot that is on the same street and still very close. The fans in our room need to be fixed. One was making a very loud noise and the other has blades drooping down. The bed was harder than we like.

The hotel is rated two stars, which shows mostly in the dated furniture and the finishes of the building. Nothing in particular. Just the building/structure is dated and to take it to a different level will require a significant investment.

• Lucas (10/5): Comfortable - proximity to the beach was insanely close. And there are lots of things to do in the area. Parking is a little rough having to park across the street unless you’re insanely lucky and get one of the 8-10 spots under the hotel.
• Jessica (6/5): The view was the best feature - The location was perfect, amazing view. The room was neat, the kitchenette was so cool to have. They need to update their hours of check in. People typically start checking in around 4 but we learned (after texts and a call the day of) that the office actually closes at 4. It was weird to us that no one was in the office overnight. The floors and walls were paper thin and it was such a loud hotel. My biggest pet peeve was the fact that they had no elevator. This was a weekend away with my husband but had we brought my son, who is in a wheelchair, we wouldn’t have been able to get him up to the room. That’s kind of a big deal. Even the first floor had steps to go up so we wouldn’t be able to get him up them. The room kinda had a not so pleasant odor.. unfortunately, wont be returning.

• Kitty (1/5): Never again! - I booked our 7 night stay in February. My deposit was taken immediately and I received confirmation of our stay. I received a confirmation email again about a week before and again the day before. After a 7 hour drive we arrived at the hotel only to be told our reservation had been changed to 1 day, which was the following Friday. I did not change my reservation and was never charged for a change. I had printed out my original confirmation and the one I received the day before, didn't matter. I was told they had No rooms available. The girl at the desk would not even look at me. I had booked a deluxe Ocean View room. He found us another hotel to stay at, which was going to cost more money, I refused to pay the difference. He also told me that I should be happy he found us a room. Seriously!? They screwed up, not me. Our new small room, had no sign of the Ocean, but we could see the pizza place. Our "kitchette" was a microwave and a small refrigerator. The amenities that I did not bring because they were supposed to be provided, no where. I am still trying to figure out how this new room cost $375 more than the Ocean deluxe room I originally booked? I will never book here again because I guess they can do whatever they want no matter what your reservation.
• James (4/5): Would not come here again. - The location was strong. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. A bit of a time warp here. Reminds me of Wildwood NJ in the 70s. Dumbwaiter! Hilarious! Cleaning must be upgraded. Shit stains in toilet upon arrival. Parking is very annoying. Especially since the city gets their cut regardless. I could hear every step of our upper neighbors throughout the day and night.

Arrived (on time) and staff on-duty (Doc) was over the top knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. Room was even better than represented in posts and view, amenities and cleanliness were exceptional! One of my best vacation spots ever! Everything exceeded my expectations.

• Igor (10/5): Perfect hotel for a couple to enjoy the ocean and cycling the trails - Excellent hotel, my wife and I keep coming here, usually many times each year. Perfect location for us, star gazers and cyclers and beach walkers. Rooms are always clean and have everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Good cooking facilities. A lot of restaurants around should you choose not to cook yourself. Fantastic view of the ocean.

• John (10/5): A hidden gem directly on the ocean close to many local restaurants and attractions. - Modern, spacious, clean, direct ocean front room with amazing view of the ocean, an excellent mattress, and a well equipped kitchenette. Everything we needed for a brief stay. We also appreciated the zero-noise-tolerance policy. Very helpful and friendly staff too, offering convenient check in options!
• Cynthia Sally (8/5): Wonderful room, but needed extra bedding like comforters for those chilly nights - The manager showed us to a BETTER room than we'd booked, with a wonderful full-on view of the ocean. And she DIDN'T charge us extra for it! The room was wonderful, an all-in-one sitting-room, kitchen and bedroom with a table and four chairs placed near the windows so that we could look at that wonderful view. We were there in early November when it was a bit cold, especially at nights. I asked the manager for a comforter after our first night there as the blanket on the bed, plus the two extra in the closet were rather thin. Unfortunately, she didn't have any comforters to give us, but offered to show us how to turn up the temperature. Of course I understand that items like comforters are expensive for hotel owners to buy. But I would have been much more comfortable if we could have had one in our room. Perhaps better photos of the room and more communication about what the hotel has and doesn't have would have helped.

• Ishaliya (10/5): - The beach view was amazing! The room was almost like a temporary studio apartment, very nice hotel quality but almost like an air bnb so it felt homey. We had a full size fridge and a two burner induction stove top. There are also plates, a pan/ pot and cooking/ eating utensils (plus many other kitchen gadgets)! Room was very clean and you can crack a window for some ventilation. Plenty of storage for bags and extras. Bathroom was very clean with a stand shower, plus soap/ lotion and shampoo/ conditioner. Ceiling fans and an air conditioner. Upfront staff was very nice and explained where to park. Area is lovely and the street is pretty quiet. No extra fees that weren’t listed which was very nice. All in all great stay and for a really great price, definitely recommend!
