Die Dachterrasse ist sehr schön mit einem grandiosen Blick auf den Tafelberg. Die beiden Manager Willi und Janga sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es waren für mich ein paar besondere Tage, weil ich mich eher zu Hause statt in einem Guesthouse fühlte.

• Verified traveler (10/5): A Waterkant Welcome - This guest house was first class, exceptionally clean and so much better than a large and impersonal hotel. It was in an ideal location within Cape Town (de Waterkant area) which is regularly patrolled by security guards. The room was accessed off the street but security to it was excellent. The staff very competent, friendly, helpful and professional at all times. Their service could not have been bettered: breakfasts superbly hand crafted and the extras (availability of drinks etc) very welcomed. The guest house has a roof area (partly shaded) with a small pool and plenty of comfortable seating. The views were extensive over the city, False Bay and Table Mountain. One criticism of our room (Jules Verne Room) was the lack of clothes wall hanging/storage space and suitcase stands. We had hoped to fully unpack the cases during our five day stay but couldn't ever really achieve that.

En la web especifica que es un ground floor pero pensaba que sería en un jardín o patio interior y no a pie de calle. El servicio correcto aunque un tanto disperso según el encargado que haya ese día. El desayuno de buena calidad aunque tras 4 días días resulta un poco repetitivo.

• Kate (10/5): Wonderful stay in Cape Town - Really excellent staff that were friendly, welcoming and helpful with everything. We got one of the flats 2 block from main Guesthouse. Excellent condition, comfortable and fully equipped. Location was great for restaurants, bars, cafes and grocery.

• Christian (10/5): Charmantes Hotel mit herzlichem Personal - Schön eingerichtet Unterkunft, in der wir sehr herzlich empfangen wurden. Das Personal super nett und aufmerksam, insbesondere Willy hat uns sehr viele Tipps bzgl. Restaurants, worauf etwas achten und was in Kapstadt zu unternehmen usw. gegeben. Zimmer sauber und schön eingerichtet und groß genug. Besonders erwähnenswert auch die kleine Dachterrasse mit Pool sowie das gute Frühstück. Die Lage hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen, denn von dort sind viele Ausflugsziele in Kapstadt zu Fuß in 15-20 min erreichbar, und das Auto kann in einem abgesperrten Innenhof geparkt werden. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Rundumservice in familiärer Atmosphäre - Nach 19h Anreise einfach ein Traum in dieser ruhigen Oase anzukommen, wo schon kostenlose Getränke (Wasser und täglich Longdrinks zum selbst mixen sind inkl) und eine Dachterasse mit Traumblick warten. Persönliche Begrüßungstafeln an den Zimmertüren und jeden Abend ein Schokoriegel am Bett. Das Personal gibt ausführlichst Infos zu allem und organisiert einem den perfekten Aufenthalt. Auch gute Kontakte zu Top-Restaurants sind vorhanden und man bekommt leichter Zugang zu einem Tisch als auf eigene Faust. Tolles Frühstück und Kaffee den ganzen Tag. Parkplätze sind durch ein Tor gesichert. Wir wollten kaum wieder weg und falls wir wieder in Kapstadt sind, definitiv wieder hierher!

• Thomas (10/5): Wunderschönes Boutique Guesthouse in toller Lage! - Wir waren fünf Nächte im Cape Finest und waren absolut zufrieden. Wir hatten den Raum Nachtwacht, das Bad ist offen gestaltet, was vielleicht nur bedingt für jedermann geeignet ist. Das Zimmer ist modern gestaltet und war ausreichend groß. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und gut. Ein Highlight ist die schöne Dachterrasse mit kleinem Pool und direktem Blick auf den Tafelberg. Das Guesthouse liegt ruhig in einer Seitenstraße, Ausgehmöglichkeiten von Waterkant sind aber direkt ums Eck. In den anderen Stadtteilen Kapstadts ist man auch rasch. Das Hotelteam ist super hilfsbereit und hat uns in allen möglichen Dingen unterstützt (Tischreservierungen, Ausflugstipps etc). Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Hervorragende Lage und wertvolle Tipps - Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet. Innerhalb weniger Minuten gelangt man an nahezu alle wichtigen Punkte in der Stadt. Die Betreiber sind sehr netten und helfen mit äußerst wertvollen Tipps.
• Ed (10/5): Stellar!! - Peter and Willy have an absolutely wonderful venue, located in a very scenic and secure area of Cape Town, and are terrific hosts. We stayed in a "cottage", which is a 4-level 2 BR apartment (kitchenette in the basement, LR, BR1, BR2). The staff at Cape Finest are incredibly personable and look after any needs you might have (special shout out to Chantal who was such an angel); the breakfast in the main house is outstanding. I experienced some serious baggage misfortune with my airline and Willy went above and beyond to help me out with trying to resolve the issue. The venue has lots of shops and restaurants nearby and is an easy 10-15" walk to the conference centre. The SkyView is very nearby and an excellent location to view the city/mountain at sundown; very short cab ride up to Lion's head/Table mountain. The cost was very reasonable (we were there in off-season - May) - can't imagine better accommodations for our time in Cape Town. Only comment I'd have is the steps up to the BRs in the cottage are a bit tricky and have a low ceiling, so use cautiously especially if you're older (like me).

• Thomas (10/5): Fine Guesthouse indeed! - Cape Finest Guesthouse is not the cheapest place, but it fully met expectations. Modern interiour, great service, very nice roof terrace and convenient location. The room was more on the small side but had a good layout. Happy to stay there again.
• Marjorie (10/5): Super séjour - Excellent séjour dans ce petit hôtel qui a tout d'un grand. La chambre était moderne et spacieuse. Le rooftop offre une magnifique vue sur la ville et Table Mountain ainsi qu'un tout (petit) bassin. Le petit-déjeuner offert avec la chambre était agréable ainsi que le minibar en commun. Le personnel était très sympathique et plein de conseils pour les restaurants et excursions. Possibilité de se garer sans difficulté à proximité et gratuitement. Quartier très sûr avec de nombreuses options de restauration. Que du positif pour ce séjour à Cape Town.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Had a great stay at Cape finest guesthouse. The staff were all very friendly and helpfyl and the rooftop terrace was beautiful. Only had issues with the room being on street level which made it a bit noisy and gave a "basement" feeling and the floor didn't look clean, and the bathroom wasn't very private... But otherwise very comfortable and would recommend anyone to stay there, but to maybe ask for a room on a higher floor :)
• Verified traveler (6/5): En sovplats. - Tyst gata och ok frukost är på pluskonto. Ingen dörr till toaletten, allt i rummet har öppen planlösning. Ser rakt in i duschen. Inga sängbord, trångt. Skeva tunna trädörrar till rummet. Stentrappor/stengolv och helt utan ljusisolering. Alla hör när någon i huset går på toa eller nyser. Wi-fi fungerar bara i frukostrummet/lobbyn. Plus för trevlig personal. Ett rum om du bara vill ha någonstans att sova några timmar.

• Carol (8/5): Lovely Cape Town base. - Lovely friendly guest house with excellent breakfast. Great roof terrace with amazing views over Table mountain. Nice safe area with good security in place. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The only downside is lack of furniture in the room. We stayed six nights and only a few small shelves for clothes etc. No wardrobe or drawers although there is room for them. It's minimalist and trendy design is lovely but not practical for longer stays.

• Francois (10/5): WoW Experience in every way!!! :-) - Myself and two friends stayed at Cape Finest Guest House. The warmth arrival experience was fantastic and the Awesome service was carried through till right at the end. The interior and rooms was out of this world and loved the stylish decor. It had a very homely feel to it and especially loved the roof deck with its magnificent views of Table Mountain. Very centrally located and easy access to all Cape Town has to offer. Perfect for either business or leisure. The Breakfast offered was divine and the complimentary drinks fridge, was something I have never been offered at previous establishments, thumbs up! I would highly recommend Cape Finest Guest House and it outlives it name by far! Thank you so much for making our weekend more than Awesome :-) Will definitely see you soon!
