• Sue (8/5): Perfect accommodation for my required stay. - Clean, safe, close to hospital,convenient restaurant with takeout.
• Casey (1/5): Worst accommodation in Melbourne - Location was near to where we needed to be. We had a group stay at the property spread across numerous rooms and all had the same experience. Unclean in general, dirty cutlery, unwashed spare blanket with what looked like toothpaste on it. Stained lounges, musty smell/mould, Heat pump would make a loud horrendous noise every few minutes. Rollaway bed placed in lounge room that was unmade with stained mattress. Spiders and cobwebs. The carpet was unclean and sticky. Bathroom faucet felt like it would break every time it was used, mould in the washing machine, a dryer taped up with gaffer tape. Kitchen cooking utensils taped together.
• Nic (2/5): - Water pressure was great, once the hot water came through Bed was comfy Double basin in bathroom We had the spa suite. Certainly would not be up to standard! Carpet was old and stained and terrible surface. Cobwebs in every corner and greeted by a large spider on arrival. Tattered curtains. A very old, dirty and stained couch that I would not sit on. Mould in kitchen vents. Lots of maintenance required on walls, doors and ceilings. Dryer looked to be a fire hazard. Entrance door did not close properly. Spa looked like it had not been used since 1980. We cleaned shower base before using. Only there one night so sucked it up. We entered a smaller double room and that looked way better than the standard of the spa suite, so other parts may be better as we didn't get to see much of other rooms.

• Monique (1/5): DOWN TOWN L.A - Very little , the staff where lovely very understanding The room was terrible its liked we checked into DOWN TOWN L.A everything was broken and extremely run down ! $ 165 a night was absolutely ridiculous 🙄 We walked in and 10 mins later we walked out !! we stayed somewhere else We received a refund straight away ! The staff seemed embarrassed 😳!!

• Jill (2/5): We were able to cancel immediately. - Being given a key and access to room. We booked a wheelchair accessible room. Room was located down the end of a footpath overgrown by hedges, leaving me to rally drive over uneven grass onto a paved area that looked like an earthquake had hit it, with raised bricks all over the place. When we actually got into the room, having to lift the wheelchair up over a step and curtain railings, was the next obstacle. The bathroom and toilet was accessed via inward opening doorway, which blocked entry to the door into the toilet. Impossible to access in a wheelchair. The only good thing about this property was that the manager refunded our payment.

• FletchB01 (5/5): Everything was fine after we changed rooms. - The staff were able to find me a better room more suited to my requirements than the one I had booked. These were requirements that were unable to be viewed or requested via the Booking.com website. (I needed flat level entry (no stairs) for an elderly visitor with mobility issues) The originally booked room was in poor condition with aged/worn interior and fittings- (it did not match the photographs on Bookings.com) The replacement room that was organised at short notice (kudos to staff- thank you) was not only more suited to our needs (reason for rejecting original room), it was also in significantly better overall condition. (still not super-good, but decent for the price)

• Annabel (4/5): Didn’t meet expectations. - It was warm, comfortable and the bathroom was nice. It did not meet expectations from the website. It was run down. Stated it had cable tv, but it didn’t. The kitchen only had 3 forks, an oven but no oven trays, the website states room service available if you use the phone in the apartment. There was no phone. Bed sheets, towels and bathroom were clean. However there were food crumbs in the lounge room, the oven was dirty and some light globes missing.

Otherwise not much else. The property is very aged, requires a lot of renovations. Shower pressure temperature was hard to regulate. There was a piece of Pizza crust left on the shower rail. Photos do not show the actual age and state of the property.

• Helen (7/5): Good location for attending nearby medical facilities - Check-in was easy and our accommodation was ready on arrival. Staff were courteous and helpful. The bed was clean and comfortable, kitchenette was adequate. Washing machine in unit was great although we did not use it. We have stayed here a few times before but the whole complex is looking rather tired now. The passageways and outdoor spaces/verandas could do with a good sweep/clean. The shower in our bathroom was full of mould.

Dryer was held together with duct tape, they had started patching up entry door frame but hadn’t completed. Curtains & blinds didn’t actually cover the whole windows. Furniture was old, stained/scratched. Something weird going on with the couch, it all fell to one side!
• Peter and Pierina (2/5): Overall, the room did not reflect the standard shown in the listing photos at ALL. - The reception staff member was polite. We stayed for one night while attending a family event and unfortunately found the condition of the room below expectations. There was visible mould in the kitchen and bathroom areas, and the overall cleanliness of the room was terrible, with some items and surfaces not appearing properly cleaned and someone elses dirty socks left in the room. We also later discovered a lamp power cord had been taped together with duct tape as pictured which was located behind the bed. - A dangerous hazard. The shower temperature was difficult to regulate, fluctuating between very hot and cold. We did raise our concerns during the stay and were offered another room, however it was not suitable for us due to accessibility needs and it also had similar issues.

Then we asked for a closer room to our kids and were given one option, a cigarette smelling room with a mouldy bath / shower, so we had to shower all in the one room. Wifi also didn’t work for the kids to use. Should have been given a refund. Worst hotel ever.

The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable with good pillows, plenty of towels and the kitchenette adequate. On-site parking is available at no additional cost. Thank you!

• Wilf (3/5): Very disappointed and the apartment was very uncomfortable to live in for reasons given above.. - Nothing, whole complex should have been rated 2 Star NOT 4 Star The whole apartment needed a full refurbishment, carpets need replacing, furniture needs replacing, fringe stuck on freezing, all contents were frozen top to bottom of fridge, big gap all around front door, spiders, snake could easily slip under door etc. I had to put bath towel to seal the gap on the floor, balcony table had an ashtray with cigarette butts still in it.

Conveniently located near IGA and Sovereign Hill, in qui - Fabulous pool facility access complimentary with stay which was great for kids. Comfortable dining chairs. Convenient parking next to cabin. No green space for kids, tired/in some state of disrepair/untidiness. No playground, tight/compact space. The cabin itself was also tight and in a worn and tired state.

Although situated on a busy highway, the hotel / apartments were quiet.

Cost - probably over priced for what you get. I wish I had read the reviews. The photos on the website are VERY outdated. The whole hotel motel is run down, there are bits of wood in windows for security visible as you drive in and rubbish everywhere. They have permanent residents living there, whose things outside, make the rooms unsightly and we could smell cigarette smoke coming from inside some of the rooms. We could not park near our room as other people took up the parks so parked elsewhere in the motel parking. In the middle of the night i was woken by a cockroach on me in bed. When i mentioned it and showed reception the photo i didnt even get an apology let alone a refund or discount. The wifi doesnt work for any longer that 2 mins, there is no foxtel ect as advertised on their website. Beds are sagging in the middle and you can feel springs. It looks like the smoke alarm isnt connected either. Hardly any tea or coffee supplied. I was told the cafe next door was open but it wasnt. Their website displays 4 stars but when i searched on the motel rating system ther are not listed at all.

• Ruth Rankin (6/5): Convenient location but a bit rundown - We were able to access the room much earlier than the check in time as we were evacuating from a bush fire area. That was so helpful to us and we were most grateful Whole hotel needs maintenance particularly painting. Although the entire hotel is smoke free our room had a strong odour of cigarette smoke which we could actually taste after a while. We didn't sleep there as access to our home was available around 8pm. However the bed linen looked fresh and clean. Entire place needs a renovation to bring it up to present day standards. It met our needs on that day

• Sonia (1/5): The only clean things were the beds the staff were good. Partner was having surgery so we didn’t have time to change acc - The location suited us We had a 2 bedroom apartment. Nothing like the outdated pics. Dirty,rough, I don’t know how they can even offer it to people to stay in. Mould in the shower and around the sink.

And ibis budget is 5star compared to this property - Rooms dated and not a true reflection of the photos on website Rooms were not cleaned bed linen dirty had to get staff to change sheets shower not cleaned clumps of hair stuck to wall room smelt like it had cockroach mice have been present

• mohanaeswari do (9/5): - Staff were extremely accommodating. We'd been ghosted by another venue and had to book the accommodation at the very last minute and needed after hours check-in for 2 families. The staff were very understanding and helped us through. They were even able to get us side by side units. There was a restaurant on-site that was also very friendly and had food food. Nothing that i can think of
