Tastefully furnished with everything you may need, it features a private balcony overlooking the endless ocean. The rooms have a king-sized bed and private bathroom with both a shower and a bath. Room numbers 100, 107, 111, 200, 207 & 211 have a relaxed larger lounge area and on request, we can install up to two extra beds, to accommodate children. Some of the rooms have a fireplace for those cozy winter evenings.

The spa is fantastic, I would recommend booking a session or two. The dinners are good, one or two dishes I would not reorder but the steak is done to order, the chocolate dessert is beautiful! It was a good break away from work and felt like a holiday. The only real complaint is that the bed is a bit hard.

We enjoyed our bedtime chocolate every night. The view was beautiful. This is a place where you can just unwind, relax and enjoy. We will definitely visit again. There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect.

Failities were clean in the room. A suggestion, the play area was clear to see until we saw teh jumping castle on the lawn, however that did not hinder our stay. Sightseeing was great. The food portions were massive. We want to revisit in the summer!

They need to revisit the menu as it needs massive improvement. We ordered the Arniston Combo with great expectations and was disappointed. The hake I was served was flat and with no meat. The prawns we were over cooked. Overall, the meal was a waste of money.

From the welcoming at reception to the sea facing room ( my ultimate best) to the fantastic breakfast ( I’ve yet to find another to beat the “Arniston”) and yes… the staff … all on point. So … in short… I LOVED (almost) everything about the property. I don’t like that you are not allocated a parking bay based on your room number. So … if you check in later you may not find a parking bay for you.

I felt invisible and was totally ignored for over an hour in the restaurant. I checked out 2 hours after checking in and slept in my car. Will never go back

• Michael (6/5): Entsprach leider nicht ganz unseren Erwartungen für ein 4 Sterne Hotel. - Lage Super (da mit Meerblick gebucht). Obwohl höhere Kategorie gebucht, war Zimmer, Bad und Balkonbereich schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel hätten wir da mehr erwartet. Frühstück war okay, aber es fehlte für ein solches Hotel deutlich an Auswahl. Da konnte auch ein Gläschen Sekt nicht helfen. Im Bad fehlte für diese Kategorie ein Schminkspiegel, Bademäntel für SPA Bereich, dafür auch keine Werbung oder Hinweis. Die Luxuskategorie war mit Kamin und Eckfenster beworben, was ebenfalls nicht zutreffend war.

• paulwilliams2026 (10/5): Weekend stay at Arniston Hotel - My wife and I enjoyed a weekend stay at the Arniston Hotel, having been recommended to stay there by some Northern Ireland friends who had recently visited Arniston. It was our first return to the hotel since the early 2000's. The improvements were noticeable and we were made to feel very welcome. Our thanks and compliments to Rodger Newman and his staff. The room met our expectations and the food in the restaurant excellent. We would certainly recommend this as the place to stay when visiting Arniston. Paul & Janet Williams
