My agent wanted to book me somewhere else. This hotel is referred by Rick Steve’s a European travel guide writer so that is part of the reason I selected it. - Madeleine (6/5): Il ne mérite pas les 4 étoiles - L’entrée de l’hôtel ( réception, lobby très joli) L’emplacement en plein centre accès facile au vieux Lyon et commerces Les chambres ne sont pas tout à fait comme sur les photos, manque un meuble dans la salle de bains pour poser ses affaires, la baignoire manque des pièces, le jet d’eau pas de pression La porte de la SDB impossible à la fermer doucement et le lit hyper petit, l’armoire ne donne pas envie de mettre ses habits dedans, la chambre peut être aménager différemment. En gros, je pense qu’ils ont tout vissée sur l’entré de l’hôtel mais négliger les chambres, ils ne proposent même pas un verre d’eau dans les chambres, impossible de se préparer un thé dans la chambre, bref, je ne retournerais plus.

The hotel itself was really well presented with a really calm, relaxed vibe and staff were very friendly. The listing was found under a search that included car parking - this was a seperate company and very expensive (€35 per day.)

- jennifer (6/5): l'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Lyon mais n'attendez pas une chambre avec de belles finitions - l'emplacement est idéal et la chambre comprend suffisamment de rangements pour sa taille. La chambre n'est clairement pas entretenue. Une grosse tache est apparente sur le rideau, la barre de douche est cassée et le pommeau ne tient pas bien, un abat jour est cassé, la peinture écaillée par endroit. Malheureusement, les éboueurs sont passés a 7h30 le samedi matin.

A pesar de ser un edificio histórico las habitaciones eran demasiado básicas para ser un hotel de 4 estrellas. Le petit déjeuner est complet. Le personnel est agréable et le petit salon est vraiment sympa pour profitez. La chambre pour une personne est vraiment très petite et la fenêtre donnait sur un mur. Un bruit de ventilation qui s’allume à intervalles réguliers est assez désagréable.

Lobby transformé en restaurant générant un manque d'intimité pour les résidents souhaitant faire une pause durant la journée sans monter en chambre. Quoique ne dépendant pas de l'hôtel, tarif prohibitif parking Bellecour (EUR 83.40 pour 48 heures). Globe & Cecil devrait avoir un arrangement avec la municipalité. Cet aspect est clairement un argument pour chercher un hôtel hors centre.

Бронирование номера был по размерам меньше чем обычные, Фотографии номера несоответствуют , на фото выглядят маленьким с маленькой кроватью, по факту номер отличный кровать большая и матрас удобный, чисто, красивый дизайн. Менеджеры и официанты очень вежливые и внимательные . Говорят на французском и английском , это непомешало заселится, решить все через переводчик. -

C’est évident étant donné le bruit… Le lendemain à l’accueil, La réceptionniste prend un air surpris pour répondre : je le signalerai… Pas un petit mot d’excuses, ni un petit geste commercial… De qui se moque-t-on ? Un hôtel où l’on ne peut pas se reposer et tout le personnel à l’air de trouver ça normal…

- Louise (4/5): Très déçue - Petit dej super Chambre vétuste Personnel qui ne m’a pas donné la bonne chambre Je suis arrivée il y avait quelqu’un Le robinet qui mettait de l’eau partout L’eau de la douche allais sur les toilettes Pas possible de fermer les volets correctement Et le bruit d’une soufflerie en permanence

- Banuhan (9/5): Evden uzakta ev hissi/Kalpten tavsiye - Otel çok şık ve güvenli bir semtte yer almakta.Ben tüm şehri yürüyerek gezdim.Ayeıca havaalanından tren +metro ile hemen yakınında indim.Konumu,temizliği,personelin ilgisi şahaneydi.Oda umduğumdan daha büyük ve konforluydu.Sessizdi.Sıcaklığı idealdi.Çok çok tavsiye ederim İ Sadece 4 yıldız olmasına rağmen odada terlik,ayakkabı çekeceği,duş bonesi vb.şeyler olmamasını yadırgadım.Diş macunu ve fırça da yoktu.Onları iyi ki getirmişim.
