- Larry (8/5): - It is an old school motel but very well maintained. Amenities were a little sparse. Only a couple of towels, a couple very small soaps and shampoo. No water glasses or coffee machine and cups in room. It did have a microwave and full size refrigerator. All in all adequate for a short visit.

- Eric (8/5): - This motel is a throwback to the 1960s. My husband said it was just like ones he stayed in as a kid on family trips. Our unit was clean, quiet, well maintained. It had everything the current motels have...ironing board/iron, hair dryer, complimentary toiletries, full size mirror, comfortable bed. It even had a retro looking full size refrigerator which I really appreciated. So glad we stay locally in Mt Vernon rather than driving out!
- Christine (8/5): Spring Break overnight in Mt. Vernon, IN - There was no one at the front desk when we arrived, so we had to call the number listed at the front desk and wait. The gentleman was very nice and wrote our room number, our door code (keyless entry - number lock on each room) and the Wi-Fi password on a small piece of torn notebook paper. While it was nice not having to worry about losing a room key, it was a little strange to have this very informal slip of paper. There was a very nice, new, large Galanz retro-style black refrigerator in our room. It would be lovely to have a larger fridge if you were planning to have a longer stay. It might be nice if they added a small dining table and two chairs as the room actually has the space for it. The beds were on the harder side, but nice sheets and pillows. They were made with only a top sheet and a blanket though, no comforter or top cover. Thankfully we always travel with our own blankets too so we were not cold. Walls are a little thin, as I could hear a loud gentleman having a phone conversation and laughing a lot, I think two rooms away. The room could stand to have blinds or some type of additional covering on the windows, maybe a roller shade. The curtains kept blowing up/open from the A/C unit below. There was no way to secure them and anyone could see in, as it's a ground floor unit, right by the parking lot.
- Alex (10/5): - Place that everything I needed as I was staying to visit some friends. It had all the amenities needed, and it was super quiet. Definitely recommend this place for those that are looking for a budget option if you are visiting the Evansville area since it’s about 15 minutes away

We were welcomed by a friendly young man who made sure we knew all that we needed to and asked us whenever we ran into him whether all was well. Comfortable bed, easy parking made for a good stay! I recommend the Four Seasons Motel!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Good place to stay for the money. Friendly staff - It's what you should expect from a hotel this star rating/price range. The place was clean and inexpensive. The staff was very friendly. Check in and out as easy as anywhere. They are remodeling currently. Our family of six took two rooms. We were in town for the eclipse. We would stay again.
- Danielle (10/5): One night stay for a wedding at Higher Grounds. - Older motel, but very clean and perfect for a one night stay for a wedding that was at Higher Grounds. Only a 17 minute drive.
- Rachel (8/5): - Room was clean and staff was very friendly. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were pretty flat so we just ran down to the dollar general and bought a few cheap pillows. Channel options were good, it's always nice to have something you like to watch on TV (they have showtime options). Also the blanket on the bed was very thin, we prefer a thicker blanket/comforter on the bed to sleep with. Couldn't figure out how to switch the shower to the tub faucet which wasn't a huge deal but the hot water did not last very long while taking a shower. The toilet seat was the wrong size for the toilet, toilet was elongated but seat was for a round toilet which was also not a big deal but just kind of awkward. Also, I love the keypad option to get into the room, so much easier than carrying a keycard around.
- Yvonne (4/5): - Went by the pictures online and they looked nice. They didn't have the double room we had reserved, so we took a king room. Pictures showed beautiful pool area, room with pretty artwork, white bedding, leather chair. Stated that breakfast was included, but when checking in, there was a note stating no breakfast. Pool area was very overgrown with weeds and pool liner was torn. Bedding was a stained dark blue blanket with a cigarette hole in it. Sheets and pillowcases were clean. Thin scratchy towels. The a/c unit was above the clothes cabinet and we couldn't reach it without standing on the wobbly, cheap desk chair, which was not a nice leather chair. The best things in the room were the nice fridge and the large flat-screen TV. Wasn't comfortable with the lock on the door. Did not feel safe at all.
- Brenda (4/5): - First it was easy to check in I has stay 2night but the room was half clean just one towel, wash towels no shampoo or soap and no TV remote. I call and he got a remote and towels . The second day I came around 4 to the room and the room was not clean it’s just like I left it
- Theresa (6/5): Meh - We booked two rooms. One room had no tv remote. It was MOSTLY clean but had short black hairs in between the fitted sheet and mattress and little gnats dead on the sink. Also, I’m only 5’6” and was hitting my head on the shower head. Pluses: air worked great and it had a full sized fridge! Our second room had NO bath towels and had a take out container full of food in the fridge!! We booked here because they were the cheapest in the Evansville area but we clearly got what we paid for. Oh- I do love that they do keyless entry (pin pads on all the doors) so we didn’t even have to check in!
- Steve (6/5): - Room had a weird sell. Pillows were small, so bring extra if you plan to stay. Bed was firm, but was somewhat comfortable. The A/C looked new and worked great. Had a large refrigerator for a motel. Had good size tv. Bathroom had caulking all over the place that didn’t match the grout. It was definitely a quick fix it job. The pool was closed and looked like there was no plans to ever open it back up. (No mention of that on their website). Just an average place to stay.
- Joe (8/5): Good value and comfortable - The Four Seasons is a no-frills roadside motel. It’s very clean, and the manager was polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. I slept comfortably there. But please be advised that the pool is closed and looks like it has been for quite awhile, despite the photos on their website.

No flat surface upon which to put anything, a small but full size refrigerator that is noisy, a flat screen tv that occupies the entire top of a bureau. No chairs. No table - and there is room for all of this. It's ridiculous. Air conditioner is too noisy.

- Dwight (6/5): Four seasons stay - Toilet paper in rest room had some brown stuff soaked into it. Charging station looked like someone threw up on it. No coffee pot. Talking with another patron He informed me we were in the up hill ( nice side ) overall it worked for just a place to sleep for the night. Apparently new ownership the event I’m in town for. People having event knew previous owners whom are pictured on website.
- Beverly (8/5): Average motel - Super easy check in!! Bed was very comfortable. I need to sleep in a recliner part of the night, so that's the main reason we booked this motel (each room has one). It was an OLD, beat up leather recliner that was disgusting looking. I used a sheet to cover it while I sat on it, but it still disgusted me! If they're going to have that comfort, they need to keep them updated as they get that old!!
- TAMRA (4/5): - This property is not owned by the people in the picture and the photos of the property and rooms are not recent. Bare essentials are all the rooms have. Towel are very thin and small. King size bed had three very thin pillows as well. Coffee pot had not been cleaned from the previous time the room was used. Would not stay there again.

Took 15 minutes of running the water to get hot water was supposed to have continental breakfast there was nothing blankets were so thin like having just a sheet. They did provide a coffee pot but expected people to use coffee they put a little Ziploc baggies nowadays you don’t trust anyone with things like that
- John (6/5): - The room was overpriced for the area and unhandy room layout. For example, our king sized bed was inaccessible easily by more than one person. (Up against the wall on two sides. The room was big enough to have the bed positioned correctly. Sadness... Our room was nearly $120.. More than I would expect to pay but probably allowed in the market due to construction crews that provide a steady customer base.

- Dennis (10/5): - This is a 1950s-60s style single level motel. The rooms open to the outside and parking is in front of the rooms. It is welk maintained. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. The bed covering, a single thin duvet type thing was a bit light for the AC chill. The hotel could save some waste by installing soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower instead of the old style lityle bottles they now provide. I was pleased by the place and my stay.

- Kathy (6/5): OK for one night - Checkin was easy; manager was pleasant. Room was a good size and clean. The bed was comfortable. The rooms were non-smoking, but with people constantly smoking right outside the rooms, including the cleaners, the smoke was wafting into the room. Also, there were two couples sitting outside til very late smoking and drinking and talking very loudly. I had to turn up the air conditioning to high to drown them out.
- Phyllis (8/5): Comfortable stay in Mt Vernon, IN - We were glad to find an open room at the Four Seasons since they are usually booked. Our room, a king, had lots of room with a full sized refrigerator and lounge chair. We would've appreciated a table on both sides of the bed and better sheets. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets didn't have a mattress pad and continued to slip off the bed. We could've used another blanket, as well, since the only cover besides the sheets was a thin blanket. They had plenty of pillows. The TV was large. We did have a couple of small spiders and noticed the main wall could use a new coat of paint. Carpet looked fairly new. Breakfast was good... real scrambled eggs, sausage gravy & biscuits. I burned a bagel in the toaster, but they brought a wider toaster which worked better. They also offered cereal and some fruit. An offering of yogurt would've been a nice addition.

- Jenny (10/5): - Everything was wonderful! Check-in was easy, and we were given wifi info to connect without needing to ask. The suite we had was spacious, and included amenities we wished were in more of our hotels—separate living room, a kitchenette with stove/oven, dressing room in front of bath, spacious bedroom, and back porch! There was also outside seating front and back. This would be a great getaway hideaway z for a long weekend! We loved it!

- JOHN (2/5): - No one was at the Checkin Desk, it took forever to check in. My TV did not work, my in room telephone did not work, the Internet did not work. I stay there once a year when going home to Carmi, I always liked it in the past, but it was just a mess from start to finish this time. I'll drive the extra 23 miles to Evansville next time I come up, so I can get checked in properly, have TV and Internet and a room phone. Goodbye, have a nice life! John
- Terri (10/5): Semi parking and comfort!!!! - This cute little motel is under new ownership and renovations. The current conditions are still superb!!!! Super clean - no odors - NO BUGS - very nice sheets, pillows, towels, clean carpeted floor. This is a NO FRILL - Mom and Pop type motel, with plenty of parking right in front of the spacious rooms. There IS ACTUAL parking for FULL SIZE SEMIS!!! There was no problem parking our extended hood Pete and 53’ trailer…with plenty of movement and space. Room for at least 5!!!! There’s camper/evening parking with hookups in the back of the motel. Pets are allowed, and there is a pet fee - but all are welcome, with plenty of areas to walk them safely. The beds were total comfort…not rock hard, yet not so soft that you feel like you are being “eaten” by the mattress…lol There’s a good size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, flat screen tv with cable/satellite, ac/heat combo wall unit, plenty of outlets - some with USB outlet/ports. We did not ask about logging into internet, but was told it was available, yet our cell phones worked perfectly for everything we did on-line. Also on-site laundry room. Regular size tub/shower. The water was great pressure, stayed hot, tub nicely, and the water isn’t so soft, that you feel like you are covered in condition - you actually feel clean! The office is big and has an ATM if needed. The staff is SUPER FRIENDLY and HELPFUL!!! We stayed in room 32. This is a little hometown GEM motel!!!! GREAT STAY!!!!
- Kathryn (2/5): Dirty - The sheets were dirty- pulled back top sheet and there was potato chips and lits of hair in bed. Bathroom had lots of hair laying on and in the bathtub. Hotels.com should be taking this off the website due to cleanliness especially in a pandemic.
- Caroline (10/5): Clean, cozy and comfortable - Everything was great! The room was super clean. The recliner was a nice touch. Everything was spotless. And everybody who worked there was really nice and friendly. The breakfast was great. Full refrigerator in the room. It felt so homey that I added two additional nights just to rest on a big trip.
- Douglas (10/5): - Love this place. Very clean and very nice people. It's just the basics and beds are ok but would stay again. When it comes to beds tho we are spoilt with our adjustable/ massaging bed at home. Bed was a little on the hard side to us.

- Ed (6/5): - No one available when I tried to check in. After several minutes, I left to get phone from my bike when someone came out to get me. The light in the shower did not work. It was suppose to be a non smoking room. It definitely has not always been a non smoking room. There was an IR control for H/AC but I could not tell that it worked nor could I find a target to process an IR request. It was clean and comfortable.

- Ronda (10/5): Fantastic stay - This is not normally a hotel I would have stayed in (it’s a little older roadside motel type place) but I am so glad I did! It was very clean, quiet and the clerks were so helpful and helped us find a great place to eat!

- Duncan (10/5): A pre-corporate Gem - This motel excels in all the major categories because of the management’s attention to detail. One example: the coffee provided for in room use is fresh, measured and packaged by motel staff in zip lock bags sporting self-printed labels. Why would I praise this one example of many? Because this business is committed to providing the freshest possible coffee AND containing costs at the same time. You’ll never find conscientiousness like this at a corporate motel chain. Well done Four Seasons!

- Rick (8/5): Nice motel - On a State Park road trip at Harmonie and Lincoln with a bike ride in Evansville. Nice motel with many places to eat and easy access to the Ohio River.
