The spa area could do with a little updating (for example fixing the jets on the jacuzzi). I unfortunately left a cardigan at the hotel and I’ll update my review once it’s been found / returned etc.

The rooms are extremely small with not enough lighting to see in your luggage. It took > 30 min to get an iron and 4 calls to the front staff. I would not recommend this hotel if you want a 5 star experience

- Joseph (6/5): - There is nothing 5 stars about this property. It is a small simple hotel with zero luxurious details or amenities. We felt it was a huge disappointment for what we paid, the photos are misleading it is a small hotel with small rooms. The junior suite was an average room you would have at a basic 3 star hotel. Simple things like cotton pads or a box of tissues are missing. I would not recommend this hotel.
- David (10/5): - The hotel is amazing. Everything in the room was built for comfort and relaxation. It was clean quiet and the bed was exceptional. It was medium hard which was great as I have a bad back. The only issues (which is very small) is that the room we were in did connect to the hotel WiFi. But as soon as we went outside the door it connected. And the check in and check out was a little time consuming as we had to provide evidence that we paid the city tax to say for a couple of nights. Other than that it was amazing and we will definitely come back!

All in all, this was a very nice hotel in a convenient location, with a cool style. We were comfortable in our room. The absolute only negative is that for a 5 star hotel, they didn't make the guest feel 5 star.

- Kevin (8/5): Nice but not 5 stars - The hotel and room were nice but it did not seem like 5 stars (4 stars tops). We also did not receive any VIP property perks. The room was smaller than we expected but it was nice and very clean with a comfortable bed. However, the bathroom pipes kept making a terrible noise. There were dead plants outside the windows. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff were very nice and accommodating, although we would get asked for our room number 2 or 3 times each day. The breakfast area also had a view of the top of the Eiffel tower which was nice, but it could be seen on top of a noisy building construction. The construction could also be heard from the room. It would have been nice to know of the construction ahead of time. One person at reception promised to make reservations for dinner but forgot. Another one had to pick up the slack and managed to make it short notice. We did not have time for the spa.

For those looking for luxury, authenticity and charm, this is the spot. Don't be dissuaded by the outside, it's a small hotel with an incredibly big heart and 5-Star service. The hotel is clean. Rooms are comfortable. The staff is lovely. Emily and the rest of the team are fantastic.

- Linda (10/5): - Phenomenal 6 night stay here in March. The staff is exceptional and attentive to every possible need. Our standard room was spacious for the EU and spotless. Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood , bistros are a block away. All major attractions are a 15 min cab ride away. Being so close to the river provided great walks and the taxi stand is at the corner. Our rate included the delicious and freshly made , hot and cold breakfast. The attendant at the breakfast buffet was lovely and always made sure the tables were set and ready. This top floor area was a nice space to relax in with a great partial view of the Eiffel Tower. Highly recommended!

- Khadijat (10/5): Lovely Paris Boutique Hotel - It was an absolutely wonderful one night stop over. Exceptional front desk customer service with bubbly on arrival. Then after a wonderful nap nice dinner nearby. The breakfast rooftop cozy and a nice peak of the Eiffel Tower. Although cold and gray, the Julianna staff and my stay was the bright spot of my inway journey.
- gabriella (10/5): - This may be a small boutique hotel, but it was a big win. My sister and I stayed for 3 nights and were treated like movie stars the entire stay. The hotel was impeccably clean, the owners artwork was everywhere which added a special touch and the staff was top notch. We wish that we were staying longer to enjoy the spa, but we did go look. It’s beautiful and has a large jacuzzi along with a wet and dry sauna. We want to really recognize Rui- he was able to get us a last minute reservation on Valentine’s Day at a trendy restaurant, he was so accommodating and couldn’t do enough to make our stay easy and memorable. Emily was always so warm and kind. Emmanuel was amazing and always went above and beyond. Even our chamber maid (I didn’t get her name) was impressive- our room was immaculate everyday. This staff was incredible and really elevated our stay and Paris experience.

When the coffee machine broke mid-breakfast with a room full of guests, they quickly found a way to serve everyone, and the coffee was as delicious as ever. The breakfast was fantastic, with a variety of tempting options, and the breakfast server was calm, efficient, and always had a smile. The front desk staff and concierge were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to provide excellent service. I had mistakenly booked for the day before my arrival, and my booking was non-refundable through Expedia. However, they stepped in to prevent a no-show cancellation and ensured my room was perfectly ready upon arrival. The hotel’s location is prime, within walking distance of everything, and the decor throughout is stunning. They offer a great mix of room sizes, with comfortable beds and pillows, and the bathrooms are bright and spacious. My family and I will definitely be returning!

Hotel staff lacks finesse and professionalism, no consistency in service, terrible housekeeping that will pretend to clean the room and leave you with a dirty room instead. I would think twice before booking this hotel, you have SO MANY options in Paris to choose from to receive proper, high quality hospitality. Don’t fall for their false advertisement of misrepresenting themselves as “5 star hotel”. Their standard is non existent, nothing is up to par to 5 star hotel experience. Very disappointing stay, what a waste of $$.

- Nicole (2/5): - I recently stayed at Juliana Hotel, a five-star hotel that, unfortunately, failed to meet even the basic expectations one would have from such an esteemed establishment. The only redeeming quality of this hotel was its prime location, which offered easy access to the city's vibrant attractions. However, the positives ended there. Service was terrible we were greeted by 2 men (unbelievably unprofessional) who looked like they did everything in the hotel. From tagging our luggage, bringing it to our room, checking us in, and getting an iron to the room. It made absolutely no sense. When we arrived at our room we were greeted with a lack of cleanliness that was simply unacceptable for a hotel claiming to be of such a high standard. There was a bug on our floor with maggots. Disgusting. There are no amenities. The rooftop is terrible, the bar is self-service, and just overall terrible. It is amazing that this establishment can call itself a 5-star hotel. Despite the hotel’s luxurious branding, the overall atmosphere felt more chaotic than serene, which is not what I envisioned for a high-end experience. In summary, Juliana Hotel was a massive letdown. With so many options available, I would recommend looking elsewhere for a truly luxurious experience. The location may be great, but it’s not enough to make up for the poor service and lack of attention to detail. This hotel is certainly not deserving of its five-star rating.

They helped us with local recommendations for every meal, answered all of our questions about the city and location, and even helped us schedule a taxi to the airport for our departure the next day. They also let us stay in the spa after closing time! It was such a great first experience in Paris and we had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this hotel!
